My husband and I brought our sons vehicle in to have it checked out before he begins driving it (teenager driver) and they were able to give us a diagnosis on the issues the same day we brought it in. Honest people at AAMCO Tallahassee. I brought my truck in thinking I needed to spend thousands on a new transmission. After diagnosis and repairs, plus a fix on my A/C switch I presented with a bill for a bit over $300. How great is that! As a plus, I talked to the guys doing the actual work, not some service writer. That really improves communications and results. AAMCO has my truck repair business in the future. I highly recommend these guys.

I can’t say enough good things about these guys. The last time they fixed my car it was a starter issue. They had replaced it two years previously and told me that that was an issue that should not be coming up again so soon. They were able to get the part replaced for free and they did not even charge me for the labor. Not one red cent! I had used them a couple of times in the past and so have other family members. They are honest and reliable and I trust them completely and highly recommend them to anyone.

I absolutely will be using these guys again when I need auto work again. I took my Toyota 4runner in the a pretty bad transmission leak. Leroy called me a few hours after I dropped it off to let me know what issues where found. Leroy explained what all needed to be done and the price that he quoted was very reasonable compared to other shops that I contacted. Everyone seemed very friendly and honest.

I struggled with finding a place that took electric/hybrid cars. I came across this place & Mr Leroy was very certain he can help me find the issue! He knew exactly what was wrong with my car battery & replaced it at a very reasonable price! If you are looking for some Honest car maintenance, I recommend this place! After going to about 10 different places & getting told different things each time, my aunt told me about Aamco. This people are the BEST!!!! First, I wanted to take my car in last Friday but they were booked for the day but he was nice enough to let me bring my car in to have a tech listen to the sound that was driving me nuts. He gave his opinion and told me to have it back first thing Monday and I will be given a definite answer as to what is going on. When informed as to what was going on, each one of my questions were answered and most importantly the gentleman was very patient with me as I asked a million questions. They was able to find the problem when PROCTOR ACURA couldn’t even figure it out!!! I will surely be using Aamco from this day forward!

Not your typical AAmco, or mechanic for that matter, the most honest I have ever worked with. We travel hours for this shop to work on our trucks. Family owned, honest, and caring. This company is a very rare find.

My cars been outside of there parking lot, they told me to bring it I had to get a tow, the towing people left my key in my car, someone could of stole my car..it’s been 2 weeks..no communication what’s so ever about someone getting covid so they had to shut down there store. Had to go to my dealership just to find that out…when I pick up the phone nobody answers. And when someone did pick up the phone they hung up on me twice …just horrible customer service. And they want me to take my car here to get fixed …just terrible.

I was definitely in a despair of being STRANDED. I cant thank this establishment enough for their compassion and helping me in a great time of need.The work ended up being covered under warranty and was towed back to Central Fl. and they still treated me very professionally. Highly recommended.

We used AAMCO to replace the transmission in one of our vehicles and their customer service is by far the best in town. We had another issue unrelated to the original repair a few weeks down the road and they had us in and out within 30 minutes. We cant thank them enough for the great repair work and timeliness! We definitely will be using them again.

We were towed here because no shops were open to check out our Jeep on Sunday after it broke down. We came back at open to see what we could do. The first man we met was one of the owners Leeroy Pafford and he was a delight for being in the morning and a couple of people roaming in before the actual open time. He got our info and get set to get us in and checked out. Soon after we met the other owner Jesse Huseman who also was a delight and a breath of fresh air. Both made us feel like we were in the right place and didn’t even think twice that they would right by us. Jesse talked to us while we waited and if you ever have some time, listen to what he’s got to say, he’s done a lot for a man so young and so much to share. They did everything for us that we needed and got us back on the road ( we made it to our next destination no problems.) Best service I have received at a AAMCO let alone mechanics shop period. I recommend everyone and everyone to go by there for your auto needs and you won’t be let down.

This place is a joke. I brought my classic car here and they held my car for over a month without even opening it up. Jesse and Lee Roy are not the type of people that understand how to take care of their customers. Lee Roy actually slammed my clutch plate on the ground right in front of me and laughed afterwards. Find a better place to get transmission work done. Very disrespectful people.

This place basically saved me thousands of dollars on a car. I took it in for a pre purchase inspection and they showed me all the issues with the vehicle that the dealership was trying to hide. Definitely taking my next car here!

They went above and beyond to help and advice me on an issue I was having with my car. They don’t give you the runaround and are honest and hardworking. I just moved Tally and will be using this business again. Thank you again!

Had a very poor experience with this service provider which started two ago when I brought my vehicle in for a transmission repair. It was bad enough that they broke my fuel pump just before they called me to pick up the vehicle after completing the transmission work and made me pay for it..:(But when I brought the vehicle back to them this year for warranty repair due to transmission leaks and other possible issue I got backlash about it and manager/owner Jessie refused to honor the warranty blaming another shop for the possible damages. It got to the point where I am prepared to take this issue through the court system. I mean what happened to customer satisfaction!?

Transmission blew in our Lincoln mark Lt on a cross country trip. They guys were upfront about cost as well as timeframe. Offered to take us to a hotel as well as a rental car place. Offered to help with financing if we needed it as well. They also held our tow behind inside until the work was done so it would be safe. If i could rate them a 10 i would.

I highly recommend this place! The owners are 2 of the nicest/honest people! We were on a long drive back to Mississippi when we had an engine light come on and they were just about to close but stuck around and waited on us and serviced our car! Great work and Great ownership!

Brought my 2002 S-10 in yesterday afternoon. It needed a master and slave cylinder as well as a new clutch. The job was done in less than 24 hours and the truck is running great again.

I called to get a quote and the guy who answered was very rude and didnt help. He didnt even give me and my fiance a chance to ask for the service they specifically say they work on ! I would not approve if you have a foreign car at all!

They failed to diagnose a completely shattered steering shaft, even though there was a recall of the part in mid-2012 for my vehicle--which I was not aware of at the time. Charged me ~$60 for the diagnosis of your car is running fine, doesnt look like anything is wrong—spare a couple electrical issues. Nearly got into a very bad crash on the way home because the steering wheel began to pull left due to the steering column / shaft breaking further. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, there are plenty of locally owned places that wont put your wallet & vehicle at risk.

Last weekend I took a trip to Tallahassee and ended up with car troubles over 300 miles from home. After leaving another shop with no help, I decided to stop by AAMCO. Jesse and Leon went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure I got back home safe and sound .They not only stayed beyond their operating hours, they also drove across town to find me a part on a busy Friday night .Words cant express how thankful I am for you two! Definitely give them a try if you want honest and quality service!

I love this shop. Every time I need a car serviced I’m told they are busy but will try to squeeze me in. However I’m always surprised at how my car is ready and in great shape, on time or even earlier than expected. Any problem I have I will be back here. I can see why they are always busy.

We were told by another mechanic that we needed a transmission and took it to these people and they could have took advantage of us and went over our car and only thing wrong was a couple clips missing and transmission was good. Just awesome honest people.Highly, highly recommend!

A few weeks ago my car was fixed by another AAMCO. After driving to Tallahassee, there was an issue with my car and it wouldnt start. This AAMCO fixed my car for free within 3 hours and the mechanic came in even though he was sick. Im very grateful for this as I was able to return home the next day. I havent had a problem with my car since and Im confident that this AAMCO probably inspected my car and did a good job. Would recommend.

My daughter, going to Fl. State Univ., had problems with her car. She was leaving for Va. To gather with family, And her car stopped. We are from Stuart, Fl., about 1200 miles away. I’ve been putting off finding a mechanic ever since I got ripped off last year, however aamco exceeded my expectations. I was quoted at 1k for a timing belt + kit, but they found that the belt and water pump were new and didn’t need to be replaced, which brought me down a few hundred dollars (other things were wrong). I’m so thankful for their respectful and honest customer service. My car is running great now, but I know where I’m going the next time I need maintenance done! Thank you Aamco team!

I put my vehicle in this shop for performance issues, lack of power, & hesitation. An issue no shop is able to figure out. This shop helped me stop better tho when the task was performance. THe performance of my truck not effected one bit. I was told brake fluid in vacuum lines, booster trashed ECT ECT it was a problem. Here I am in same boat less 1200 for something I didnt really need, not right now. Not happy at all, I still cannot pull my trailer.Theyre good at theyre work but its a pretty basic shop not much specialist to it, it would seem. Immediate problem fixed but NOT for what I put my truck in there for.Back to scratch

I were just like most people that have been ripped off by a repair shop. However Aamco Tallahassee were one of the best experience ever, I were very sceptical however the staff remained very professional and went above and beyond to get my car in the best running shape in a long time. The work on my transmission was adequate. However, the dealings with this particular business in their following of AAMCOs inspection procedures, and the amount charged for the work done, has left me unable to recommend them.

They were so personable and helpful I would definitely recommend! They gave me a great deal and helped show me how to fix the issue on my own .

Excellent service ! I pulled into their shop on Monday afternoon with only 1st and 2nd gear, left on Tuesday with a rebuilt transmission. These guys were great, they even stored the trailer I was pulling inside Monday night.

I entered the shop in FULL PANIC MODE!because I thought my head gasket was blown I left my car there overnight instead of them ripping me off trying to rip me off and lie just to sell me parts I didnt need they inspected my car for free and drove it to ensure my car was fine if you need to take your car for a repair YOU BETTER GO TO THIS PLACE!

Will not use them EVER again. Took in for one problem and they said we had other things going on. Fixed the additional problems and our truck caught fire shortly after leaving them. Fixed the original problem and after 2 months it broke again. Cost us $$$. If you are thinking of using them I would think twice!

I brought my 2011 GMC Terrain to Aamco Tallahasse for a rebuild. The rebuild went well, but our radio wasnt working. The owner (Jesse) went above and beyond to make sure my radio was fixed. They scheduled all the dealership appointments and took care of everything. Thank you Aamco Tallahasse! You guys are amazing!

My car stopped working and I didnt know anyone because I came down for academic purposes and I was recommenced this place by the person towing it and he said they will take car of me and they did. They didnt take advantage of a college student and where willing to compromise with the price and even drive me back to my apartment.
