I got into a car accident back in July in which the damage on my car required quite a lot of body work and other repair. Having a nearly brand new car, it was a complete nightmare trying to get this car fixed. I ran into a lot of issues regarding parts not being available which I am sure many other people have been having this issue after the pandemic and quarantine last year. Tim and his staff provided me with the best service that I could have found. They showed amazing communication skills with me, making sure I know exactly what is going on with my car and explaining anything to me that I had questions about. The lack of parts available to fix my car right now should have taken it many more months to be fixed, but Tim went to lengths to find another option to have it fixed more quickly and also to ensure my safety driving it from now on. I know many other people would not have put in the extra effort that he did, and everyone I spoke with at this place was nothing but professional. A friend of mine recommended this place to me, and I would 100% recommend it to anyone else! As a college student and female who doesnt know much about cars, it is also quite difficult to find somewhere that would not take advantage of my lack of knowledge. They also showed great communication with my parents, who were worried about the same thing and that they were not up here to help me with it all.

Being a young woman, I have always been skeptical that I was getting the truthful price for the best parts and work. Tim and his staff have completely changed my mind (in the best way!). Tim worked with me (not only explaining how my deductible worked to be honest) but did the best he could for my budget and gave me back my car looking beautiful. I am a college student and had my car fixed at University Collision this past week. The staff answered all my questions and assured me my car was in great hands. These fine folks recently repaired my Honda Odyssey after a hit and run crash. The initial payment from my insurance company seemed low, and I wasnt sure how it was going to work. The staff had me super comfortable and confident in the process in no time. Their folks handled all of the additional contact with the insurance company and had my vehicle good as new in a timely manner. Super professional and smooth process.

Amazing! I am a college student away from home who got into an accident and they were really patient with me. They answered a lot of questions that I had and updated me on the status of my car when I called. When I was able to pick up my car Tim reassured me that I will be able to come back if my car starts to act up again. They even cleaned the inside of my car. (there were scratches and a dent around the rear tire and on the bumper) I dropped my vehicle off on a Monday and it was ready the following week on Wednesday. There was a couple scratches and dents on my front and back bumper. They buffed out the front and replaced my back bumper for a very reasonable price making my car look brand new again. I was also in a time crunch to have the repairs done by and they exceeded my expectations on timeliness. Overall experience 10/10.

To begin with, these guys show their warm professionalism by greeting you with real people at work, rather than a receptionist who knows nothing but scheduling and a sales pitch by a fake technician. I shopped around enough to know that they are reasonably priced and they attend to details right from inspection to completing the repair. Excellent job in painting is worth mentioning, too! You would feel like you are been served by real people who are your friends. Great experience to restore your faith in humanity after a collision and dealing with the insurance.

I was shopping around to get quotes on repairing the hood of my car after it caught a wayward shingle. Instead of immediately quoting an entire respray of the hood like other shops, they suggested I let them try to polish it out. I thought it was through the clearcoat, but the staff at University were able to get the area looking better than it did when I bought the car!Any paint work that I need done Ill be taking to University, I cant recommend them enough. Theyre not trying to take your money because they can, they want to repair your car in the most realistic and economical way.

From start to finish, my experience with University Collision Center was top notch. My car was damaged on the quarter panel in a minor car accident and I brought it to Tim and his crew for a preliminary look over where they confirmed my suspicions that the other drivers insurance company had greatly underestimated the cost for repairs. They were kind enough to explain to me the process and how I needed to get the proper estimate to the insurance company. After dropping the car off, the insurance company denied the estimate that University Collision Center had submitted stating that the damages were not caused by the accident. I called Tim after getting no where with the insurance company and he got on the phone with them and it was settled within hours. After all of his help with getting things situated, I wasnt too concerned with how the repairs would turn out and was just happy to have them covered. I picked up my car yesterday and I couldnt even tell where the damage had been located. Ive had prior work done on this car, and this far exceeds anything done in the past.Not only do you get incredible customer service from someone that genuinely cares about the people that walk through his doors, you get a crew that do phenomenal work on cars. I used University based on a referral due to having a vehicle that had some minor damage but has a paint color that was difficult to match. Owner assured me he would match it. They did it in a week and it looked like the damage never happened. I highly recommend them for all your auto body work needs.

This shop may have to be the best place to get any work done on your vehicle. My car has been hit two times and university collisions is the first place I thought of. My entire front end was smashed from a head on collision and no joke it took this place 9 days to get my car back to me. It honestly looked better than it had before I bought it. The management there is insanely nice and Tim the manager will make sure every person coming in feels Comfortable once they leave.

I had the front end of my Nissan Xterra repaired here! Everyone was extremely professional and nice. I was down to the wire with time and the shop employees even waited on me to arrive, well after closing (and even offered to drive me home)!The shop accepted my car and made sure I was able to get in a rental. The shop communicated with the insurance company and I knew I was in good hands.The shop accommodated me and made sure my vehicle looked GREAT! Wow! Quote was 20% less that the other I got, they did it on time, at the amount quoted, AND washed my car and cleaned it totally inside and out. Hope I dont need body work again, but if I do, this is the only place I would go. Really friendly owner as well. Cant say enough nice stuff about this business.

I had some minor bumper damage on my car that needed to be painted. I took my car to a few different collision centers around town and University Collision Center gave me, by far, the fairest quote. Tim and his team were very friendly and did a fantastic job on the car. The communication was great throughout the process and no surprises popped up. I highly recommend this place!

I thank God for this place. I just got in a little crash and was completely devastated. I came here on the same day to University Collision Center here on Apalachee Pkwy and they fixed my car grill amongst other small things on the same day. It didn’t cost me anything, they did it out of the kindest of their heart, it was very minor (so your case may be different). The point is their service is AMAZING. I came in with a problem and it was fixed just like that. The workers here are very nice and have a great sense of humor. Even though I was devastated they kept a smile on my face. Brought my truck here to get an estimate on repairs after being overpriced by Universal Collision. Tim has no intention of ripping me off and even referred me to a detailer who fixed the issue at no cost. Took my car in the other week because I had missed my appointment at a different place. Which was lucky for me because I didnt fully understand my estimates and I would have ended up with half of my damage fixed for a ridiculous price. Tim was very kind and explained ball of this to me when I brought in my car. He really helped me out and took my car in immediately the next morning and took care of the damage to my car and it looks like nothing ever happened! I am so happy with the turn out! AAA accidentally towed our vehicle to this establishment by mistake. When we attempted to rectify the mistake and retrieve our vehicle, an employee, who eventually identified himself as Rex after refusing to give his name at first, would not turn over the keys to our car while attempting to strong arm my wife into using their services. My door hyperextended and would not close on a Friday. It was an awful day. Two places in the area turned me down for repair. The tow truck company dropped my car off at University without consulting me. After I tracked the car down I spoke with Tim who not only repaired it successfully but did so at no cost because, as he said, it was a simple fix. These guys are great for the community!

Due to Hurricane Michael causing 6-month backups at all of the local body shops, we took my car to University Auto Collision in Tallahassee. I had been rear-ended when I wasnt moving and the person who hit me immediately admitted they were at fault too their own insurance company. Despite their admission, their insurance company made getting my vehicle fixed very difficult. University Auto Collision, specifically Tim and Louie, fought with the other insurance company the entire time to replace parts instead of repairing them and using new parts instead of refurbished as the insurance company tried to insist. When additional damage was found, they made sure the insurance company knew by sending them pictures to get the additional monies for the repair and my rental car. In the end, University Auto Collision fixed my vehicle to the point where it looks brand new and made sure I knew to call the insurance company to get a check for my cars now diminished value as a result of the accident. If you are anywhere near Tallahassee, I highly recommend you take your vehicle to University Auto Collision. Speak to Tim or Louie and they will guide you through the entire process, as well as fix your vehicle to the point where it looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor.

My car was taken here to have the rear bumper replaced. The work was done quickly, but I had to return the car the next day because my turn signals werent working, they went ahead and connected it back up. I moved just a few weeks after that, (5 hours away) and I noticed the day after I had moved that my brake lights were constantly staying on if my lights were turned on. So I took the car to a shop locally there and had it looked over. He informed me that the shop that had previously worked on my car had cracked the housing for my brake and tail lights. So I called University Collision and informed them of this and asked them if there was a way they could reimburse me for the parts and labor I now had to pay out of pocket for due to their negligence. They told me there was absolutely nothing they could do about it and all they could do was look at it if I brought it into their shop. I had been laid off and used my savings to move, so that was definitely out of the question. Id rather have the original job take a bit longer, (especially since I was the victim and had a rental car) than have it done quickly and deal with this again. Dont go there!

Towed my bus and caused $2000 in damage. Calling them cretins would be a compliment.

Clipped my bumper and completely fixed a rattling sound I had for the longest time, free of charge!

The worst experience with customer service Ive ever had. Once I dropped my car off with them they had zero communication with me as far as progress on my car went. When I did call to see what was going on (after two weeks of silence) they gave me wildly inaccurate information saying my car would me ready monday and when monday came not only finding out my car was not ready but also it had been transfered to another location and they only just started ordering parts. The staff frequently spoke to me as if I were a child and it was my fault for not getting correct information. After over a month of having my car to fix the bumper and hood they would not even cover the costs of my rental for the extra time it took to fix the car. Will never deal with them again.
