Were thinking about opening a craft beer bar in Havana, Florida, so we went bar hopping this Sunday (for research purposes). We liked this place the most. Kinda hard to find on Capital Circle, but a very cool and welcoming place. Staff is very helpful.

This might doesnt look like a review. I wrote this an essay about a great experience of my life, its real, and I would like to share here:When I was working at TJ, [one day my co-workers told me that they are going somewhere to have a good time together and they asked me if I want to come. I liked them and I agreed. TJ work is hard, starting at 5:00 AM, moving heavy fruit packages and food and drink boxes around all the time, except for a short break, until 1:00 PM. Got there all tired and in TJ uniform shirts, we all stood in a line and realized that they were all ordering beer. I asked them about the place and they said that here, instead of a glass of beer for four dollars, four small glasses of beer cost four dollars, so you can taste all the flavors. I did not know what to do when I subconsciously saw myself in front of the line. Oh, I did not think beer was different from beer. I looked at the wall and saw, oh my god, that there were maybe thirty beer faucets, each with a different beer. He asked me what I wanted. Since I didnt know what I want I just said, May you please give me your four best-selling beers? He looked me in the eye and said nothing. I did not know what was going on. Then, I saw that he was saying something under his lips that sounded like grumbling. He had helped and poured all six or seven of my colleagues glasses in five minutes, but it was taking maybe two or three minutes for each of my four glasses. I was very worried about why it was taking so much time, and what he was whispering with himself. Then I realized that he was going into the computer and looking to see what the best-selling beer, like in the past year, and was filling my glass based on that. Then he would go to see what was the second best seller and so forth. This took a lot of time from him and since he had a lot in his mind and a lot of work to do, so he was venting out by grumbling quietly. He gave me the beers and rang them up for me, and while I was in shock, I took the bears to the table and my co-workers tested the bears. They all loved them. I didnt stay with them, told them I need to pick up my child from school, and left. I usually dont drink because I brought up as a Muslim. I was not surprised when I saw the name of his store (Growler Country off Capital CIrcle) in the list of the best businesses of 2019 in Tallahassee. For me, however, the behavior of that beer seller will be engraved in my soul for a lifetime. He did not give me dozens of religious lectures on the pulpit. The honesty and integrity that he demonstrated in his work were extraordinary. He could have given me anything, and I would have never known. Or he could have said that it is not possible for me to do that for you. Instead, he treated me with obsessive care, just for his own conscience. He did this, and I kept me in his debt for all my life. I wish someday I will be lucky to have a little bit of his integrity and work honesty.

Fantastic craft beer selection plus growler and crowlers fills. Easy access from the interstate.

Mid-size selection but the choices are very good. Conclusion: you wont be disappointed, ever.

First time here, and the Christmas selection of beers are awesome!! We ordered 4 different plates of food and all of them were delivered by the kitchen manager, Eddy (he’s awesome). They all looked absolutely AMAZING and somehow tasted even better than they looked. We will definitely be back soon.

We stopped in, not knowing what atmosphere GC was, we were totally impressed! Great beer and good food. The guys were very nice.

As you enter Growler Country you see several screens with their selection of fermented joy and how much stock is left in the kegs. Place your order at the counter and add some tasty food to accompany your libations. Tables high and low are filled with patrons who dont mind sharing space in a good atmosphere. A room toward the back has dart boards if you need to work off some energy. Its well worth a visit or several. And the service is GREAT.

The Cuban sandwich tasted good, but smaller and more expensive than other places in town for one. A wide selection 25? or so of small and local breweries on tap, so that BEER selection is great! If you have a big group in the back room like we did, that ac can not really handle it. They did have a few ac fans that helped some. Atmosphere in the main room looked good. Many tables to sit at. Wooden seated chairs not too comfortable after awhile. More parking in the back of the building, but I would not really like to have to walk back there in the dark to get to my car. I did leave thru the back door I unlocked, not really sure I was supposed to. Worth another try when I want to try out some local and other Florida beers.

First time i had the wings. They are baked but were crispy and delicious.

This place is in an odd location, but theyve made the best of it. I love that you can see their tap list online, and they do a great job of obtaining wide varieties of beers. Theres always something new for me to try.The interior of the place is fine, and I appreciate the many TVs they have. Great place to catch a game.Its missing a quality outdoor seating area, though.

Great beer and the food was scrumptious. I had the mojo pork tacos and my better half had the nachos. Both were excellent. Very friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend checking them out.

When paying $25 for 64 oz growler of beer, I expect that it not also come with an attitude from the bartender. When I got home to enjoy- the quality of the beer was obviously off. I called the store back to explain an got the most condescending response possible. I drive up to the store to discuss what seemed ‘off’ with my growler. I was hoping for an some ‘brew’ talk to figure out what was off with the taste/pour. Unfortunately the only explanation I received was ‘not sure what to tell you. It’s fine’. Will never pay a premium price at this place again. Too bad that a single customer/employee experience can totally ruin the experience of any service.

I tweet about this place all the time and I love the new board that shows all the beers including how much is left in the kegs. This is a great place to drink some quality craft beer and read a book. This place is also relaxing and the customers tend to be working in Tallahassee and are nice to talk too.The employees are awesome and always make the scene fun especially for tap takeovers. This place is chill, comfortable and is an excellent avenue away from the noisier college areas in Tallahassee.

This is my favorite bar in Tallahassee. They have $5 flight nights on Tuesday and have some of the best craft beers Ive ever had. The food is good too. Definitely recommend Growler Country.

Im not exaggerating when I say I visit Growler Country daily, and each day Im greeted with a smile and great beer. Its the ONLY place Ive found with consistent hospitality and management that exceeds expectation. The owners know everyone by name and they actually care about their customers, which is a rare find. But most importantly, their beer is amazing AND they have nacho cheese Bugles... I love everything about this place.

The beer selection is top notch and forever changing. Especially with the seasons! And Eddie the kitchen manager has really got it going on in the kitchen. A must stop place in tallahassee.

I was a somewhat regular customer from the time they opened until June 2015 when I moved out of the area.The staff was friendly. The tasting room had a great atmosphere without the slightest negative feeling of a bar. The beer was great: fresh, varied, relevant, interesting, and constantly rotating.The prices were a bit high. I was going to give a 4, but Tallahassee is a small city and is far from everywhere, so its hard to ignore the high costs of distribution and the near complete lack of growler refill competition in the area.

This is a magical place. So much good craft beer and always a great vibe. Theres literally something for everyone - even if you dont like beer (they have wine and awesome ciders) or alcohol at all (Lucky Goat cold brew always on tap)!

The best place in town to fill your growler from their wide selection of beer. Also offer some wine as well but their main feature is the beer. Some of the rarest and hard to get kegs have rolled through there and always have a delicious new beer to try.

My husband and I moved to Tallahassee about a year ago and found this little bar. They ALWAYS made us feel at home! Great staff, great atmosphere, great beer selection, I could go on and on. We love it!

They have a good selection of beers and food. The people are friendly and will make suggestions if youre not sure. Try the pretzel, its good!

Now that Growler Country had added some pub fare, they are exploding! Its hopping every evening in their newly expanded digs. $1 street tacos on Thursday cant be beat! The only reason I didnt give them 5-stars: Parking. Their tiny lot can be a pain & lots of folks have to park in the sketchy area behind the building or hike in from the parking lot of the neighboring office supply store--be prepared to walk on uneven pavement and/or grass & bushes.

Great chill place. A few tables are around (both indoors and outdoors), so you can sit and have a drink as well as fill your growler and go. Super tap list, and if you hit the website or use the Digital Tap app, youll be able to even see how full (or empty, you know, if youre a pessimist) the keg is. Occasionally there will be something that is a no-growler brew, so you might have to grab a spot at the table with me.

Overall a great place, good location. Their to-go prices are fantastic, the price per pour can vary from good to a little pricey. A few TVs for sports and a great selection of bottles and merchandise. Dont forget $5.00 Flight Night too.

This place is great! They have a nice beer selection and they have tacos on Thursdays that are amazing!!

We really enjoy Growler Country! Their taps are continuously rotating, and their Citizens reward program gets you 20% off on Thursdays. The atmosphere is casual, and the bartenders are always friendly and knowledgeable. They also now do BOGO beer after 8pm Thursday-Saturday and $1 tacos on Thursdays.

Great place always has a huge beer selection on tap. The kitchen serves up some great food too that goes beyond the typical bar food. If you havent tried the mojo pork tacos or their other menu items you are missing out. A decent number of TVs and a game room, whats not to love?

What a great new space! Growler Country has now expanded and finally can fit all their patrons in the same room(s)! They have also added dartboards and updated decorations to liven up the place. It was a much needed expansion to the bar which had become too popular for its previous amount of space. Yet, in the process, the tap list seems to be settling in to a large amount of regular beers, without as much rotation as there used to be. This is especially frustrating when almost half of the list consists of beers from local breweries, which I go visit anytime. I come to Growler Country for the variety, but they seem to be losing that. Overall, I love the new space, but Ill be able to visit every once in a while with the lack of new beers to try on their tap list.

Growler Country has a steady rotation of craft beer, so theres always something new to try. Theyll give you sample to try, then you can choose from having a pint, filling a growler, or getting a crowler (theyll fill and seal a 32 oz can for you). Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.Ive always tried the Brew Bus, which begins and ends at Growler Country. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon, visiting local breweries.

The giant pretzel with mustard is undeniably delicious and the beers are great! Service is good and you can watch sports with friends.

Visited the first time on the 4th of July and it was STELLAR. The bar food menu is small but delicious. I really enjoyed the chips with balsamic glaze.
