I have to agree with all the reviews describing Paper Fox as the best local coffee shop in Tallahassee. Great location with ample parking. Excellent staff who work hard to make tasty drinks that will put some pep in your step. Cold brew so good you can drink it black, which is more than I can say for the chain coffee shops and their iced truck tire runoff. You cant go wrong at PF!

This place is the best local coffee shop in town. Single-origin beans are not over roasted and sourcing results in some unique, delicious cups which are best consumed without alteration. Staff are friendly and accommodating, pleasant environment with plenty of room.

Absolutely in love with their coffees and teas. The masla chi is to die for. The atmosphere is so nice and cozy. I could easily spend all day here drinking coffee and doing work. The staff are also super friendly.

My order was accidentally put in as something else, still very similar, and barista asked if I would like a new drink. I didn’t think that was necessary and she corrected it by adding caramel very quickly. The drink tasted amazing and the staff was INCREDIBLY helpful! I keep going back to this place because of the flawless and extremely talented baristas! Always awesome to get amazing tasting coffee from super great people. 11/10 recommend!! Wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

I wasnt sure what I wanted and the staff asked me like 2 questions and had a recommendation for me. Strong and sweet.. I went fir the Kitsune Caramel latte. Also great snack options.

My favorite cafe in the city to get some work done. The atmosphere is bright and open which makes it a wonderful place to sit for a couple hours. In other cafes which keep the light low I find it hard to focus for a long time, but not here. The coffee is very high quality with creative monthly latte and multiple drinks on the menu worth checking out, even if coffee isnt your jam (Great Kombucha).

My favorite place to grab some Lucky Goat cold brew. It’s extremely close to the west side of campus, so if you are often near the stadium, Paper Fox is a very convenient place to chill, do some studying, and grab some coffee or a quick snack. The staff is lovely and they support wonderful causes! Please support them!

Ive come to decide that this is my favorite coffee shop in tally. 90% of coffee shops here, for whatever reason, have staff that really dont seem to care about the guests or the experience. Very impersonal, very unconcerned with service and hospitality. This place isnt one of them, and thats what makes it stand out. Its an open and friendly atmosphere. You can go here to chat with friends or you can come to study for three hours. Both work great because the energy is just positive and warm here. Super necessary for young people, especially students, to have a place like this. Other places should take notes. On top of it all, its clean, got cool and relaxing decor, and the drinks are good and fairly priced.

I hate coffee, but the tea, craft soda, and the service are so good that I have to keep coming. The barista was so helpful that I just had to get her name! Aileene helped guide me to a drink I would love and showed me that there’s more to drink than lattes. Brandon is also really helpful and funny. I’ll definitely come back again!

Coffee is good. Staff is really nice and knowledgeable and can help you decide what coffee to get. My only problem is the music they were playing when I was there is a little loud and not really the type of music good for working or studying. It was Latin party music. It was also a little warm inside. But otherwise, great atmosphere, clean space, and good coffee.

The coffee was great! Its a little on the bitter side which fits my preference. The bake goods are also well worth the price which is adorable. Also for those who are interested, yes its Vegan friendly.

Leo made the BEST samoa (Girl Scout cookie) latte for me!!! I got it with oat milk and practically jumped for joy when the first drop hit my mouth. He definitely deserves a raise- this hit different.

I am obsessed with this place. The baristas are knowledgeable and helpful without a lick of pretension or snootiness. They are also creative and come up with lattes like Astronaut Ice Cream. The pistachio latte is another must. You walk in and feel like you are in an actual mega-metro area like NYC or DC or ATL. A must try.

Coffee was ok but I had a long hair in it. Girl who rang us up was semi friendly but really seemed to careless if we were there or not. I immediately noticed the baked good were covered in plastic wrap which was strange.

The baristas here are incredible. They can guide you to pick the perfect drink, whether it is an espresso drink, tea or craft soda. The food is perfect to enjoy for a relaxing breakfast or lunch.

Honestly this is one of the only places I consistently come back to after moving to Houston a few years ago.The TLC put into this place radiates throughout the whole establishment. Also they carry methodical coffee which blows my mind since I always thought Id have to go to Greenville, SC to grab a bag.Also, heres a question, where did yall get the gray chairs around coffee table? Great coffee with some unique flavors. The ambiance could be a little cozier, but at least theres plenty of room to socially distance. Prices seem to be about the same as major competitors, but I liked this better than the big chains. Ill go back the next time Im in town.

Paper Fox is hands down the best coffee shop/cafe I have ever been to (and I promise I wasnt paid to say that). The staff makes you feel truly cared for and at home, the food and drink are exceptionally crafted, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It is a great balance of trendy yet comfortable. Its the kind of place where the workers look forward to getting to know your name and make your day brighter :)

Second time in there and it’s a cup of great coffee and the service was fast and friendly. The crowd was definitely younger than me because it’s near the colleges but, I’ll go anywhere for a great cup coffee. They have a wide variety of drinks. I had a little egg bites today they were good they were like mini quiches.

I’ve never been disappointed when going to get coffee here! The employees are super nice and the coffee always tastes great!

Coffee is delicious however it was REALLY crowded and there is absolutely no social distancing or mask wearing going on in store. Staff is wearing masks which is good but I wouldnt plan on dining in. Just get stuff to go and find a safer place to study.

The staff here are delightful. Service is quick, and the coffee is great. Since the rebranding they have also started selling a wider variety of foods, which is also a nice plus. Only complaint would be that some chairs are not flat because of missing feet pads (this is a super easy fix).

I think Paper Fox is definitely the best coffee spot in Tallahassee. They have very creative drinks and everyone there is super friendly. I would say I visit PF once to three times a week and Ive never had a bad experience. The manager Ben runs a tight ship and you can tell he cares a lot about the coffee they are serving. I love PF and will continue to support this awesome company.

Quiet and upscale Café Choi is the perfect place for students looking for coolness.

I lived in Tallahassee a long time before finding a coffee shop that fit me like this one.It’s quiet enough to read when I want to enjoy solitude, but warm enough that I didn’t feel weird with a group of my friends at one of the large tables in the back of the deceptively large space.The mural on the wall is definitely something to see, as it draws your attention so well. Local art definitely has a place at Paper Fox, in both the beans and the paint. Well worth making your regular stop.

They have just the drink I need to power through a long night of writing/reading (Foxtrot). The barista Ive dealt with has been hospitable, remembering me from my first visit.

I’ve been coming here twice a week for a few months now because no other cafe has friendlier staff and the coffee is always amazing! Relaxing environment great for studying. Love it here! :)

Really nice staff and a good assortment of drinks. The space is filled with plants and a nice mural makes for some nice photos too. If youre not in the mood for coffee then try a craft soda (I suggest coconut berry). I wish that they stayed open later. Hopefully in the future!

I never go to any other coffee shop except Paper Fox. To give you an idea of how much I like this place, Ive had a craving for their café au lait the last couple of days and made the 30 minute drive from my home in Lake Talquin just to buy a cup of coffee. My day is now improved, thanks friends!

I stopped in here while traveling and ordered a cafē breve. I was given my choice of beans to choose from, then handed a beautiful three leaf pattern espresso. The service was super fast and friendly. Ill be stopping by every time I drive though!

The Coffee is fine. I can only speak for the drip coffee because that’s what I ordered my first and only visit. Here’s why: I walked in, strolled up to the register. The barista stared at me. I waited for her to ask what I wanted or at least be greeted in some fashion. This never happened. When I finally realized this, I ordered my 2 coffees. She said “4 dollars”. I paid. I tipped 15% because I’m an idiot. I guess I was looking for a thank you? Something. Anything. Simple acknowledgement that I’m a human person seeking service. It never came. The coffees did. They were placed in front of me and she walked away. No “thank you”. No “the lids are over there”. No “please come again”. Nope all I got was 2 words and a long stare. “4 dollars”. I’ll respond with 2 words. Fox you!

I love Paper Fox! I come here all the time. It has a great atmosphere for when I need to study or relax. The staff is extremely friendly and cool, the manager is especially nice and interactive with anyone who comes in. There is a barista named Michael who is also really sweet!!The drinks are amazing! My favorite coffee is the Iced Fennec Mocha (White Chocolate and Raspberry Mocha), and I always get the Lemongrass/Lavender Kombucha—delicious! There are also snacks and small lunches, such as the Quesadillas, provided by Burrito Boarder across the street.The food and drinks can be a little $$ compared to some places, but it is SO worth it for the calm atmosphere and free wifi. Going to Paperfox for the 2nd time. Great service and really good coffee. The boys had hot chocolate, and we had 2 lattes: the Bobby and the Fenneck.
