What a wonderful morning attending the Charcuterie Board demo with Chef CeCe. Attended with my daughter and a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Learned so much and eating the delicious food was a bonus. Accompanied with mimosas was also includes.The store is filled with wonderful buys and sweet ladies to help. Got so many ideas for Christmas purchases. Looking forward to attending another class soon. Well worth the money. Chef CeCe did not skimp on quality.I can’t wait to make my first board. This is what she made. Art!!

I love the classes at Browns! Ive done several cake and cookie decorating classes and the ones at Browns are definitely the most informative and educational. The camera set up is an excellent demonstration tool and the instructors are very clear and anxious to help on a one-to-one basis. I will surely be back for more!

Went in for our first time and I was like a kid in a candy shop!! We were greeted immediately by a wonderful sales associate. Found everything I needed and more. Definitely look forward to coming back and picking up some more goodies. Also look forward to the cooking classes coming back and being able to attend. Would make for a fun experience. Both ladies that were there were friendly and knowledgeable.

The Asian Pantry Staples class was excellent and fun. Brigitte clearly presented the information and was very open to questions. I think my stir fry dishes will be much better after getting a number of tips and learning how to make a delicious brown sauce.

This place is amazing. I found it back March of 2020 and go there once or twice a month for my cocktail mixes, seasonings, kitchen supplies, and gifts. I Love Browns kitchen. They even have gift baskets specialty made, great idea for clients and thank you gifts. The crew at Browns Kitchen is awesome. They always take care of me.

If you havent been to Browns, dont delay any longer! It is an incredible store. The staff are extremely knowledgeable of every item in the store that Ive ever asked about or needed guidance on. Not only do my wife and I buy items for ourselves at Browns, we bought our adult children their Christmas presents from there this past December. So very thankful to have Browns Kitchen in Tallahassee!!

Brown’s Kitchen is such a great store and resource for all you would ever need for your kitchen! I’ve been shopping there for 20 years and the staff is always so helpful and nice. It is always a pleasure. I recently took the class on sourdough and it was fantastic, can’t wait to try what I learned!

I love Browns! They have a great variety of kitchen tools but also fun gifts. Highly recommend the classes; Ive been to several and loved each one! the recipes are always easy enough to recreate and the wine pairings are extra fun!

My granddaughter and I recently took the cookie decorating class. It was very enjoyable and allowed us to spend a fun Saturday together. When we left, my granddaughter commented that it was a very fun place to shop and we had a bag full of items to support her thought. I know I can always find what I need here.

The cooking classes are great! Some classes are more interactive than others, but they’re really educational. The chefs are knowledgeable, willing to to answer questions, and prepare really yummy events! Usually they will pick a few recipes and prep them for you to sample, or will chose parts of the recipe that may be tricky to really focus on with the demonstration. You’re given copies of all the recipes that are prepared. The classes usually run for 2 hours but include time to shop during a break. It’s a great little store with tons of stuff for cooking, baking and bar tending. They offer bridal registry services as well which is pretty neat. They recently updated their website to be able to sign up and pay for classes online too. It’s great for a date night and something different than the typical dinner out. Check them out they’re awesome!

Our absolute go to kitchen store since moving to Tallahassee four years ago. Wonderful products, innovative classes, an amazing staff and local chefs...you cant go wrong., Highly recommend.

For a few years now Browns is my go-to for kitchen thingamajigs and whozeewhatsits.IF they dont have it, they get it. If they cant, you probably dont really need that turnip twaddler anyway!Wonderfully friendly and engaging, Browns staff knows their stuff AND they know their resources.I prefer and collect Le Creuset cookware, and Im happy this is just one line of fine tools and cookware they offer.I quit using that chain store with the 20% discount coupons everywhere. Theres more quality service, friendliness, and know-how at Browns!

I have been to several of the cooking/baking classes at Brown’s Kitchen Center and the instructors are always nice, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We had a lot of fun decorating Easter cookies on Saturday. If you haven’t taken one of their cooking or baking classes or cookie decorating classes for that matter you should put it on your list of to do’s.

Browns Kitchen has so many wonderful items. I love being able to support a local business and my habit for cooking.

Amazing experience!! Got a mothers day gift here and the staff was very helpful in helpful in their suggestions. They even threw in some free candles! So glad they are open. I will definitely return.

This was my first time attending the cooking class at Browns Kitchen and I must say it was one if not the best cooking classes I have ever attended. The Chief took his time to answer questions throughout the class and even after class. The next week after my class I went back as I knew he was doing another and waited until that class was over with to ask him a few questions about one the seafood dishes he prepared in my class as well as his opinion on a nice Chief Knife. He was so gracious in taking his personal time to not just answer my questions but go in detail about each one. Will be attending more classes through the summer when offered.

Great selection, fair prices, and great customer service!

I really enjoyed the class. I would make at least two of the recipes. The grouper and grits were delicious. Also enjoyed the shrimp & avocado. The only fail was the deconstructed key lime pie. I would have preferred a very small slice of an actual pie. Definitely would attend another class with them. Started on time and completed on time!

I dont know what I like better, the top rate tools and cool gadgets or the incredibly informative classes. Oh, I cant forget the warm and immensely helpful folks that keep everything running. Browns has become more than a shop, theyve created a community. Stop by and say hello.

I enjoyed the Seafood meal tremendously. Chef Leon was very good at answering any questions we had. Will look forward to doing another class in the near future.

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience watching Leon work his magic. I love the store. The kitchen is my favorite room in the house and have always wanted to attend the Saturday sessions but work most Saturdays at TMH. Cant wait to attend another one.

Great products great staff

Chef Leon C. Brunson taught a demonstration class on cooking seafood. He gave us multiple examples including salmon, scallops and shrimp. It was sold out! Browns Kitchen continues to bring the best instructors to teach whether its been a hands on or demonstration style. I havent been to any bad courses. I will continue to register for courses.

This was one of the best cooking classes I have taken. The instructor was fun, knowledgable and very good at presenting the material - and the food was delicious and plentiful.

A great local shop. If you are looking for kitchenware, and the largest selection in town, then look no further. They have a wide assortment of kitchen items. From the basic to the unique they have it all. Do not waste your time going all over town, if it is for your kitchen, Browns probably has it. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They also do cooking classes. Visit and be amazed at the variety. I drive by this place all the time on Capital Circle and had no idea what a local gem this place is!

I love Chef Leon’s classes and the one on Seafood offered concrete, practical and creative methods I was able to implement immediately and successfully!

I have attended several cooking classes offered by Browns Kitchen and I absolutely love them. I always learn something, no matter which class it is. A few of my favorites have been the French and Asian cooking classes. I also attended the cake decorating class that was offered and enjoyed the class. There were some hands on activities, everyone was encouraged to try making a rose out of the icing and trying out piping the frosting on the cake. The classes are not a complete hands on experience where everyone has their own station and is following along with the chef, but at every class it is encouraged to come up and look or help out, especially the pasta making class. The chefs are always very enthusiastic and it is apparent that they truly love what they do.

Comfortable setting that made it easy to see the presentation from any table. Presenter was knowledgeble and connected with the audience in a friendly manner. Took questions readily and had answers easy to understand. The charcuterie demonstration was definitely worth it!

Took a 4 hour BBQ class at Browns several weeks ago and it was wonderful!! I swear I have never tasted ribs that good. The chef used a Traeger grill and I am seriously considering buying one even though we already have a Big Green Egg. Loved it and my husband and I will be back!

Chef Leon Brunson from Kool Beanz Cafe was a fantastic instructor for learning how to make fresh pasta! He was extremely engaging and his excitement about food had the class fully engaged! Browns Kitchen staff was also very helpful! I would recommend classes at Browns and with Chef Leon anytime! I look forward to more to come!Susannah Frick

Very helpful and friendly

I came here for a 2 hour cake decorating class. The first hour was spent making frosting. I was very hopeful for the second hour, but I only had my dreams crushed. The second hour was spent sitting and watching the instructor decorate the two cakes. I was expecting a hands on experience where I could actually learning how to decorate a cake. To top it all off, we didnt even get our own cake to take home. Also, during the class people were eating frosting from the spatula with their fingers which totally grossed me out.I could have saved money and just watch how to do this on YouTube. If you are looking for hands on classes, just go to publix for their cooking classes.Overall, complete waste of money and time!!!Also, I called to complain and the man on the phone said well Im sorry I saw people doing stuff. Very rude an inconsiderate. I sat through 2 hour class and did absolutely nothing.Also, the cakes didnt even look pretty.NEVER NEVER NEVER GO HERE.
