Quarter moon imports is such a fun shop. I love that you can get some locally made items, along with a lot of sustainable finds.Its a great shop to find presents. I picked up a beautiful fox mug and a wind chime that has a carved wooden hummingbird on it. There are also a lot of clothes and jewelry options.

The best gift shop in Tallahassee. Tons of organic, vegan, and/or fair-trade products in the cutest shop nestled next to Lake Ella. Quarter Moon is my favorite stop for trinkets, unique gifts, and cards. I have friends & family members with particular tastes but I can always find a gift here. The staff are always so polite, helpful, and friendly.

This is my favorite place to come shopping for gifts for my loved ones (and I always walk away with a few things for myself!!!) So much variety and all the products are really high quality. Lots of very cute and fun items that you would not be able to find at any old store. The staff is always very helpful and willing to answer any questions that you might have. Also all of the jewelry Ive gotten from there has lasted really well and all for a great price! I highly recommend paying a visit when taking a nice walk around Lake Ella.

One of my favorite places in Tallahassee. Before I lived here and I would visit my sister we always made sure to come here. I absolutely adore this place! The staff are adorable and so friendly and the shop offers a beautiful variety of goods.

Nice place interesting gift selection. Theives for staff. My sister had $70.00 stolen from her. We were the only ones in the store she laid her money envelope on the the counter when she realized it was missing 10 min later she called them and they said, that they had never seen it. We went back. They had given her a bad time adout it. She even asked if anyone else had been in after us they said no. So if you go in to that store hold tight to your money.

A collection of bohemian, Indian, cat lovers, supporting women/causes type of store. It is small, and filled to the brim in the most beautiful decor with impeccable merchandise. I loved the room decor bedsheets and curtains from India and the jewelry made by moms who work from home. I was enchanted by the precious stone rings they had in abundance and the incense corner they had, which is a pretty big corner. The employees were kind and helpful. I love this little gem.

I have loved this store for a long time. It’s super well curated and I admire its dedication to being fair trade and ethical. I came here a lot when I was in college and thought maybe I’d have outgrown it many years later, but I think there’s something here for everyone.

This local gem in Tallahassee is a true (certified ethical) diamond in the rough. I am scolding myself for not visiting this amazing store more often. As a creature of habit, I have my go-to for various items and quite often overlook this great locally owned shop. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable regarding their inventory and the wide spectrum of items sold here is magnificent. I was able to get gifts for several people (myself included) and felt that the price was more than reasonable for a shop of this size. Nestled right on Lake Ella, it provides a great opportunity to visit several other local shops while getting your steps in along with taking in a gorgeous view of the lake. Ill definitely be back and also look forward to all the great events like food trunk Thursdays. There is a reason Quarter Moon has been around for such a long time and it shows in their customer service and quality and selection of items.

Helpful and friendly

A great little shop for gifts, art, housewares and trinkets. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Some prices are a little higher, but understandable for a locally owned store with eclectic items not found everywhere. Stop in for Mothers Day shopping or to get some incense.

Full disclosure, Ive known the owners for several years. Nice little niche shop, pretty sure you wont find another place in town that has such a wide and unique selection of product either in-store or online. Some items are seasonal or one time stock so be sure to check what they have to offer often and not miss out. The staff is always friendly, never a bad experience.

Magical finds here. I bought a few pieces of jewelry, specifically a moonstone ring that I wear religiously. I fell in love with one of the coconut wax candles, in which the manager recommended I use for cotton balls. She was so right. I also bought a beautiful wrap dress as well as other treasures. Quality products with quality people there to assist your needs. I cant wait to go back to see whats new!

Im so glad this place is still here. I just wanted to poke around and enjoy the smells and beautiful inventory, and ended up finding gifts for 3 upcoming birthdays in one stop. Ill be back.

This place is just so magical. Their jewelry is so unique and the employees treat you as friends, always so welcoming and nice. This is by far, my favorite store in Tallahassee, and if I ever leave, Ill definitely come back just to find some special piece of jewelry at Quarter Moon.

Their items are absolutely adorable! My only complaint are the prices. I understand that it is a boutique but their prices are just outrageous.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN TALLAHASSEE and even worse management or should I say there lack of. If you are looking to be harassed and wrongfully profiled by associates then look no further! Never in my life have I been followed around a store by a so called manager making sure I didnt steal anything, even going as far as to trying to take items out of my hand that I picked out to purchase... I work at a fine jewelry store where items start at $500 and I would never come close to treating a customer as horrible as I was. Wish I could give less than one star because they deserve much less

Great inventory that I couldnt find anywhere else in town. Frankly, I wouldnt have thought of buying anything here until I realized it existed when I visited here.Case in point, the line of Guatemalan Firefly jewelry. Wife loves colorful/festive themes and this jewelry is portable artwork - made from Austrian crystals and Czech glass beads by (I imagine) Guatemalteco artisans.But wait, theres more! - Youve seen those cool steel-drum works of art? - They have them here. Its senseless for me to go through the categories, but from the top of my head, they are: neato-keen stationary, light-catchers, door beads, leather stuff, dresses/skirts, those nifty socks that teen (and pre-teen) girls wear, etc.Quarter Moon. Big Fan.

I used to love this store until recently I heard of how they treat their customers. They accuse people of stealing when they didnt. The two young women were embarrassed and harassed by the management and employees. They both even offered to empty out their bags, pockets, ect to prove they did not take anything. Then when they proved they didnt have anything the manager followed them outside and continued to harass them saying its protocol when anyone who works in retail knows you do not follow people outside, you call the authorities. And the young women even offered to call the cops themselves and have them search their person and the vehicle but the manager said it wasnt necessary. Well if its not necessary to do that then why is it necessary to follow them to the car? Needless to say that will never receive my business ever again and I will make sure all my friends and family know to never go there. Im disgusted with them.
