The store has a good selection of organic green groceries, local roasted coffee, seeds and other organic stuff. The prices are a little on the steeper side but I guess they are worth their price. They have asian groceries, too. They have shitake mushrooms, which I rarely see at other stores in Tallahassee. Anyone who wants to grow their own greens should definitely visit this store. They have organic seeds and other green packets that you can take home and grow. They also have a good selection of cheeses and meat products. Its definitely a place for organic food lovers.

I enjoyed finding stuff that not in normal grocery stores! But the stuff you can get Walmart or maw and pops grocery was almost double in price! The staff was very polite and helpful!

This is the only place I trust to shop since the pandemic. It is always clean, has friendly, helpful staff, quality food, masked employees and customers, and delicious vegan food at the hot bar. Why go anywhere else?

My go-to grocery store! Great selection, fair prices, friendly staff, and lots of healthy options. I really, really, really wish the deli was open past 7! There are a lot of nights that I end up getting pizza or other takeout because the deli closes so early. 7 is when most people start getting hungry and looking for dinner! The only thing I would improve! :) Otherwise, a gem in our Tallahassee community, and will definitely continue to shop here for the bulk of my grocery needs!

Great selections! But incredibly, ridiculously over priced. Healthy food is just not a viable option for regular people in my community. I went there to try and find a sustainably healthy breakfast option since I am diabetic and cant really take morning meds on an empty stomach. I ended up leaving Community Co-op with oatmeal and a 4 pack of blueberry muffins and that cost $20...!!!!!! I cannot afford to EVER go back to this place. Only the very well to do have this as an option. 😕🤯😩

They support local farmers, Their prices match Whole Foods, they provide curbside service, and they are Tallahassee originals so money spent there goes back into the community. Theyve been operating here since the late seventies and they are a cooperative. I love this store!!!

I love this place. It is small but they offer a variety of fresh and locally sourced products. I love that they sell a variety of vegan products. Vegan items that I have not seen elsewhere. They sell local sourced goat, that is fresh. I love the pre-seasoned meat like the Moccoran goat, smoked sea salt chicken and the seasoned steak. I love that they carry beef bacon and beef breakfast sausage links. I dont eat pork and I dont care for turkey bacon.

This used to be New Leaf Co-op, now our Community Co-op. The Deli is now open and serving healthy food and smoothies. Many quality organic products/selections. Stop by, I think you will like it.

Formerly New Leaf, this was THE place to go to in the whole greater Tallahassee area for healthy organic groceries and other natural products. Then came the competition- Whole Foods, Publix with Greenwise products in every store and, eventually, an entire Greenwise Market. But, alas, it has come full circle - as the natural food selections from the best brands have steadily diminished in Whole Foods and Publix to fewer selections aimed to please the masses, now Community Co-op has essentially the same quality and selection that so many enjoyed at New Leaf years ago. I’ll be coming back here more often; I hope others will as well. Check it out and support this local business - I guarantee you will find many items here that can no longer be found at Publix or Whole Foods. And the produce is really nice too - much of it from local Red Hills Farms.There was a review about prices. Some regularly priced items are a bit high; but, they’re not gouging- they have to make ends meet. And, I found a number of high quality products on sale for very good prices (e.g. Jason’s toothpaste for $2.99).

I love this place. I went there looking all over for something to help my daughter with a tooth pain, and I found this sweet employee. I wished I knew her name. She suggested to buy some clove oil for the pain. We hadnt slept for a few nights, so Im extremely grateful and a very happy customer. This night slept like a baby. Discovered this gem after New Leaf and Earth Fare closes. Thought I was going to have to drive across town to go to Fresh Market since Whole Foods doesn’t allow me to bring/use my own containers for bulk goods and produce. I’m OBSESSED with this store! Yes, the prices are slightly higher but I can find so many things that I can’t find elsewhere. The atmosphere is fantastic and everyone is so nice and helpful. I will be frequenting this store very often!

Not as good as New Leaf before it. It still sells higher quality produce and goods at overpriced prices, but with a new confusing layout that always feels both too cramped and cluttered and like youre not seeing everything you would want to be seeing in a given area. Couple that with a smaller selection than New Leaf before it and you have an overall poor shopping experience.

I absolutely love my new store! Being from Dallas, Im always looking for my beloved HEB Central Market...this is a close cut!

What the store lacks in variety they make up for in quality. They may not have exactly what Im looking for, but they always have great goods.

There is nothing fundamentally wrong with the establishment, employees were kind and helpful; purchased bulk items and found rice bugs and everything is just extremely expensive but there were a lot of options for vegan/vegetarian community
