If youve never been here I recommend this market for grocery items, butcher and hot food. If you are from South Florida and miss food from home this market has a cafeteria inside. The cuisine is Dominican and the portions are large. Just tried mangù (mashed green plantains) today - delicious. The hours for the cafeteria are reduced relative to when the market is open so keep that in mind. If youre looking for an authentic carnicero this is it and a rare thing around here. The market is a pan Latino grocery and also a more conventional market as well. Not to make any overly broad cultural statements but this market has a very diverse patronage and in my opinion this is a very good thing for the overall area where it is located.

Some of the best Latino cooking, West of Capital Circle in Tallahassee, Florida. And if you cook! Mercy, please! This market sells the whole Cow/Oxtails. Pick out the one(s) you like. The butcher, will cut it up to your specifics. All sorts of beef cuts, pork, chicken, sausages, etc. And this little market has all the spices your heart desire. They have fresh and frozen vegetables. Snacks! Fresh Pork skins! Fresh made cakes, and a full food bar. They change the menu up so its not the same every day. Check out the coolers for your favorite beverages. Do you like cassava? It was on the menu today. Along with so many other delicious items. Check it out!!

I go here when I want to eat off the beaten path. Great selection of meats to conjure up a southern dinner. Staff is helpful & friendly. Im dog-tired after shopping because theres many tight spaces thats not accommodating to a customer with physical limitations.

Love this location just minutes from my house. They have a wide variety of meat selection, fruits and vegetables. The cashier is very nice and friendly.

I came looking for a just a meat market, and was surprised to find a full-blown grocery store with fresh produce, a hot deli, and the best quality meat selection by far in town! And its super clean and well-maintained. This place ROCKS! Ive gotten steaks, pork roasts, and ribs from here, and its all been absolutely superb. I can just about get everything I need from here--no more Publix or WalMart for me.

Absolutely love this place! I went with my mom for the first time two weeks ago and we fell In love. I was able to finally find Colombian Chorizo and Arepas and they were delicious. This store has made so many of my food dreams come true. Their meat is also really good and their hot food smelled so yummy, wish I would’ve gotten some.

This place is one of the most underrated places in Tallahassee. From the fresh meat butchers section to the great Hispanic hot food bar, no neighborhood market comes close. You can buy game meat like rabbit, squirrel or goat. If you want oxtail, you can choose which one you want and they will slice it up as thick or thin as you like it. How about T bones sliced the way you like it for 4.99 a pound! The hot food bar has everything from spaghetti and other comfort foods to great tasting oxtails and gravy. They also have ribs and real pulled pork and loads of Hispanic favorites. You are really punishing yourself if you dont try this place out.

They have fresh produce and meat. A large selection of Hispanic food. Very friendly. Its a small building keep that in mind. So popular sometimes there is no parking.

Wide variety of meats.Had lunch at Silver Lake recently, mind blown. They had a wide array to choose from and very well priced. The entire store has been re-organised. And they now have an even larger variety of meats to choose from. Particularly love the addition of goat meat.

Hands down, the BEST Cuban food in Tallahassee. Gigantic chicarrones, fresh yuca, chorizo empañadas, braised oxtail, pork, beef, and so much more! Worth the 30 minute drive for us. Make sure you try their hot sauces with your food - they have habañero and jalapeño sauces, both pack a powerful punch, but have amazing flavor and if you mix it in with your food you can make it as spicy as you like. Counter staff are friendly and efficient, whole establishment looks very clean and well organized. Dont forget to scope out the dessert case under the cash register, they have several sweet options including tres leches and flan cake!

Bought a Beef Tenderloin to make filets. The meat tasted horrible! I’ve done this many times with tenderloins from Costco in Alaska and have never tasted meat like this before. Perhaps it was deer meat?!

Its nice to have a grocery store in this area but they refuse to allow truly disabled persons to shop here without a mask and they were very rude to this family with the disabled child.
