Went inside searching for a kinky straight/coarse hair texture. I approached one lady behind one of the counters and she wasnt sure what kinky straight was which is fine- Im sure there are some hair types everyone isnt familiar with. She asked someone for assistance through her headset and then told me shed come back to me. I continued to browse in the same aisle until she came back to the counter but instead of continuing in her efforts to assist me she resumed whatever she was doing prior to my ask. I remained in the store for maybe another 15 minutes trying to find the hair on my own but its a bit difficult without assistance because most of the human hair hangs on the walls behind the counters. Once I found a hair type similar to what I was looking for I tried going to the front service counter where checkout occurs to ask if there were any other brands I could compare the hair to (to make the best informed decision for my personal needs). This lady simply replied no. When I repeated her and asked no? she then elaborated and said the store didnt carry any other human hair brands with a similar texture. I highly doubt this due to the expansive inventory within the store. I then asked if I could have someone help me at the hair counters so i could view the different hair available. The front counter lady did call for someone to assist me but and told me that person would meet me at the hair counters. I waited for 5-8 minutes and no one came to assist. I placed the hair I was carrying back where I found it and left the store. Overall the store has so much product and is nice to browse even if you arent searching for anything in particular but the customer service is lacking. No one approached to offer assistance and the store failed to follow up with my requests for assistance on two separate occasions within the same store visit. Disappointing and a bit frustrating. Id hesitate to return.

When Im in Tampa Bay Florida this is my go-to hair store. Now truth be told... a few of the employees seem unfriendly but most of them are very helpful. Great selection on just about anything you can think of pertaining to hair!

My 1st time getting a wig. I was complicating to say the least. But the staff here was extremely helpful and patient. And I was even able to get it installed right there in the store, after purchase. Im sooo happy with the service and outcome here. Ill definitely be back for my next wig. Thanks yall 💓

9/25/2020 4pm. Usually very helpful, therefore Im surprised. I asked the girl for help, she was busy talking to another worker and never moved. I asked how much was this certain half a wig I had in my hand. She never came to me and said they usually start at $19.99 and kept talking. What kind of customer service is this! I politely put what I was about to buy on the shelf and walked out. They dont deserve my money!!!!!

Always find what I need here! I always get the Janet Hair Collection but I feel like theyve upgraded their quality. No shedding at all and it feels just like human hair, with a heavy thick texture.

The clerk on staff was very friendly and helpful and courteous and very patient with me .she didnt mind taking me from aisle to aisle showing me the different items I needed due to my limited time to shop.the store was well stocked and I love the big selections and varieties of items to choose from. I was very impressed with how easy it was for me to shop and had a enjoyable experience cause many of times at other stores the clerk seems like they dont want to be bothered or uninterested as well as not being friendly of wanting to help you. I give them a 5 star for their effort as well as the store being clean and organized. Cant wait to go back after this AWESOME experience

I havent been to Beauty Depot in a while so I decided to go today. I wasnt disappointed they have a bigger selection of hair. I saw some new faces in there working and as usual everyone is friendly, helpful, and outgoing and talks to you. I love Beauty Depot

Wide selection. Pricier than other supply stores, but they do have pretty much everything so its great for a one-stop trip. The women all need a vacation, but are always ready to assist you in anything you may need and not petty when you ask to open a package. Very very clean environment with good lighting so you can see what youre actually getting.

They have many styles of wigs but most short wigs are outdated. Prices are reasonable and customer service is good. Any kind of beauty supply you are looking for i think they have it.

I have completely stop coming to this beauty depot. But today I need something fast and I live up the road from here so I ended up coming here.First of all, be prepared to be watched THE ENTIRE TIME YOURE THERE. the associates will approach you and ask if you need help but they are really there to see if youre stealing.Second, be prepared to do EVERYTHING yourself. I came in and asked about the prices of the wigs and one lady told me I had to look around the manakins yo find what I wanted and walked away like that was really any help.Third, barely anything has a price label. Your literally playing a guessing game when you come in.Forth, ALL of the women that work there are rude. If you ask for help, its attitude city for You!And lastly, the prices are ridiculous. This was the main reason I stopped coming. There are tons of hair stores that have the same hair/products as beauty depot for 1/3 the price.

You have to be careful who you ask for help here only 2 ladies are very polite and helpful and one young girl with a coco puff at the register is nice. Everyone else seems to be very bothered if you need assistance. And not sure why they are so bothered isnt it a job that you come to everyday?? But oh well 🤷🏽‍♀️guess if you want royal treatment dont buy in the hood and make that trip to Sallys.

The variety of beauty products are plentiful and one of the employees Natasha was very welcoming and helpful. She gave great advice and greets all the customers with a friendly face. The prices are reasonable and its a great location. This is my new go to hair supply spot.

I love this beauty supply stores its one of my favorite. This is my go to store the employees there are are great and helpful. My favorite employee is Angie she is great with everything from products to hair extensions. While shopping at this location Angie walked me through step by step on how to color my real hair and my hair extensions and what products to buy and even how to care for my hair after the color treatments and it turned out great. I can walk in and get help for just about anything.

If you close 15 minutes to a half hour early every day then put that as your true hours ! I’ve wasted a trip here twice now. I wish you would try and tell me I should have came earlier 🤣. I will not return to beauty depot after coming her for over 10 years I always spend over $300 buying my long Brazilian hair and product most time.i know few of the ladies that work at beauty depot and I also send lot of clients there cause I’m a licensed cosmetologist.the Jamaican manager girl was rude to me.i ask to speak to the bigger manager but that didn’t happen

The selection here is good and that’s why I chose to go here. However, they follow you everywhere. They continue to ask to help you every 10 seconds as if you were trying to steal. I understand retail, but they definitely do too much. It makes me very uncomfortable.

I tired this business at least 3 times before I came to write this review. I drive 30 minutes to get here. Store selection is the main reason. I have two major complaints. I feel like a big criminal when I come here. I work in Law Enforcement so i understand the need for security in the neighborhood this store serves. You can do that without stepping on the rights of those who are law abiding though. If you sneeze to hard a worker with be there with a tissue. They watch from the back of the store, Floor walkers, More Cameras than a Casino lol. Every single item no matter how small is layered with glue and tape and a magnetic security strip is added. Again I understand the need but now my item that I paid my hard money for is ruin with your glue idiots. You have security so tight it makes it hard to breath. Ok you deter criminals but you deter law abiding community members as well. Why come give you my money to receive treatment like that. You might as well cage customers and ask them what they want and go get yourself.

They have everything you want at the best prices. Love that store especially for makeup.

Never will I go to beauty depot on Fowler and 15th again.Very unprofessional and harassing. One of the female workers grabbed me by my arm, after I told her do not touch me. She was very rude. The customer service was horrible. Very disappointing going in for a wig coming out feeling like a victim of a crime. I will spend my dollars ELSEWHERE.

It is a spacious store with numerous hair products from many companies. They have weaving hair, braiding hair, hair for crocheting, wigs, make-up, skin products,etc. The staff are very nice and helpful.

Very big store, but it depends on what youre looking for, I like ponytails, no selections, but alot of different wigs and weaves. Nice customer service.

This location always disappoints. For everyone that shops there pay attention to your prices at the register. Especially when youre buying multiple items for one price. The price difference may be small but if no one pays attention theyre making a lot of money off of all the customers. If you have a 4 for $5.00 item you may see the price reflect a couple cents more.Youre better off supporting one of the smaller stores and shopping locally.

They got all you need! Love their .99 cent eye lashes. Use to go to Sallys Beauty Supply and pay 4.99 for Ardell eye lashes but theirs are just as good and cheaper.
