My absolute favorite coffee house. Jet City is a sweet little hidden gem in the Hyde Park area and a perfect place to meet a friend for breakfast or lunch. Jessica, the owner, is such a beautiful person and truly makes every item you order with a touch of love❣️Everything I’ve ever tried at Jet City has been so fresh and delicious but my personal favorites are their signature Cafe Borgia Latte (I love it iced) the Avocado Toast, and her array of signature handmade scones..each to die for! I highly recommend anyone looking for fresh delicious coffee, baked goods and breakfast/lunch to give Jet City a try. I promise it will be your new favorite spot! ✨✨✨

This is the truly hidden gem that is not praised enough. It is a tiny little shop located in the heart of Hyde Park with just a couple tables inside to sit but what it lacks in size, the owner’s big heart and personality make up for it. Jessica makes all the baked goods herself (they’re delicious and offer gluten free and vegan options). Don’t know what you want? She will help you decide and educate you on all she knows about coffee. Jessica is half the reason I go there, it’s just so nice to visit a real neighborhood coffee shop where they know your name and treat you like family. Try the Cafe Borgia, it’s her specialty and is amazing!

Beautiful little spot, lovely atmosphere, with indoor and outdoor seating. I personally didn’t get any coffee myself, but my boyfriend loved it, and couldn’t get over how good the whip cream tasted. I myself am vegan and they were willing to make up a sandwich for me, with veggies and vegan sausage, it was soooo delicious, and they have vegan baked goods as well. Today was my first time getting coffee at Jets City Espresso shop, what an amazing experience, truly blown away by the little details and what a world class service. Light years and beyond anything that a starbucks could ever offer. After arriving I decided to also try a breakfast sandwich, I was so impressed while I was awaiting my food and drinking my coffee noticing the attentiveness and the amount of detail to recall orders she remembers while holding meaningful conversations with regulars who came into the shop, one literally after the next, all while proficiently pressing the beans and brewing the love. Genuine and authentic care and consideration goes a long way over what seems like an ordinary day ordering a coffee. Not only the experience was 5 star but the food and coffee was delicious and phenomenal too. This gal knows how to run a business and how to create a world class service. I had this place saved in my Yelp collections based on other reviews. I finally got to try it and WHOA! Before I even dive into the coffee and the food, let me just say that Jessica (the owner) is so friendly and welcoming. You can tell that she truly enjoys running this place and takes so much pride in it (as she should!).Okay, drink time. I ordered the signature Cafe Borgia. YUM! It is a latte with sweet and smooth hints of honey, orange blossom, and nutmeg. Everyone needs to try this at least once. There are plenty of milk options too. From what I recall, she had organic milk, oat milk, soy milk, and almond milk.My boyfriend and I were in the mood to split some food so we chose The Coach sandwich. The first words out of his mouth were ohhhhh this is life changing with his eyes closed. The first words out of my mouth were what kind of delicious sorcery is this? Yall.. these flavors and textures are INCREDIBLE! The turkey is so thin and melts with the gouda into a deliciously smoky combo. The garlic aioli (yep, GARLIC AIOLI!) on the toasted ciabatta.. *chefs kiss*! I love that it was served with a side of fresh fruit and a little spinach, tomato, onion salad (that you could easily put on top of the sammy for some extra nutrients) with a cup of potato salad.There is plenty of street parking. The shop itself is in a house. Walk up the steps and use the door on the left. There is some inside seating but the porch and outdoor seating provides such a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. I cant wait for the weather to cool off a little bit so I can grab a coffee, another one of those sandwiches(!) and relax with a good book.

We had a wonderful experience at Jet City today. Jessica is full of energy and love. The breakfast and coffee were delicious but the service and kindness really amazed us the most. Jessica is so warm and full of life. She played the tin whistle for us and showed us around her charming Air BNB. We were blessed to meet her and her son and will definitely be back. Jessica, the owner, was super warm and welcoming. You might actually miss the place if you didn’t pay attention enough but this location in Hyde park is such a gem. Great little joint run by a wonderful woman and her sons. Its a house that transformed a portion of the house into a tiny coffee shop with great creations of coffee and tea couple with some great baked goods and delicious sandwiches. The rest of the house is now a Bed & Breakfast somewhere in the neighborhood of $100/night in December, located very close to Ybor City in Hyde Park. Great little place.

I had a meeting in Tampa and I needed to find a place nearby to work remotely so I Googled for coffee shops in the area and Jet City came up. I called first to ensure I could be accommodated and I spoke to Jessica. She was extremely helpful and friendly on the phone. It is a small but very busy bed and breakfast establishment. Upon walking in, Jessica greeted me and introduced herself with the biggest smile. She gave me menu suggestions and I chose the loaded avocado toast with brie cheese. It was so delicious and very filling! She allowed me to work in the back so I could have a little more privacy and quiet time. I feel like I made a friend before leaving. She gave me the biggest, warmest hug and I would love to stop here every chance I get when I come back into town. Highly recommend stopping by to get an espresso, a fresh brew of coffee or any of the food items. I was simply amazed with the entire experience. Forever customer right here 🙋🏼‍♀️

The signature latte flavors are unique and delicious. The food menu is great, as well as the little snacks that are sold by the register. It is in a nice area and has a sweet, homey feel on the inside. I recommend Jet City Espresso for anyone looking to find their new favorite go-to coffee spot!

Be advised the owner does not follow the CDC and City guidelines for COVID protection. Mask is worn on her chin or dangling from her ear, even when way closer than 6ft to customers inside. The coffee and breakfast is indeed good, but there are plenty of other choices nearby at cafes and restaurants that follow the guidelines and protect their customers.

Jet City is an all time favorite place of mine in Tampa. It’s tucked away on a small street but trust me- just go.Jessica, the owner, is often there to greet you with the warmest and happiest hello. If she’s not, another barista will be just as happy to see you and I love that.The drinks are so wonderful. I’ve had a couple of the quiches.. also wonderful.If you want to truly support local, if you want to support someone who truly loves what she does, visit Jet City.But one thing you need to be prepared for..BE PREPARED TO SMILE.

Went into this place feeling blah and tired. After a coffee and conversation with owner Jessica, I am revived, recharged, and uplifted. Her aura and personality is positive and intoxicating. Her coffee and two teas I picked up for others are delicious and served with a caring soul. This place rules.

The food is delicious and so are the drinks. Im on love with the gluten-free vegan scones. The shop is very quaint and the owner is adorable. Please visit this gem.

We stopped in for a quick coffee on the way to a funeral. The coffee and service were great. I loved your house specialty. As we were leaving, we were stuck on the porch by a torrential downpour. My husband was nicely dressed in a full suit and I was in a dress and heels. We were resigned to being late for the funeral when I spied your beautiful red umbrellas. What an unexpected surprise! They got us to the service on time and we returned them on our way home. Thank You for saving the day with that kind extra thought that makes for a great business.

There are 2 locations for this adorable hidden gem! We finally managed to visit the Hyde Park location this weekend. Hidden away on Edison ave on the bottom floor of a classic Victorian. You step inside to an eclectic mix of fun art and local neighborhood news. The menu simple and easy with a few custom drinks they make. The service is friendly and the coffee is good. You can sip on the front porch or take it to go. The parking is very challenging. A definite worth the stop for your caffeine fix.

Great place to grab some breakfast especially if you dont have enough time to prepare because your in a rush... they move fast and the crew is attentive so there is less wait time...

It is shocking to me that this place isnt famous in Tampa Bay. Jessica is BY FAR the best barisita in town. The depth of her knowledge and the care, skill and love she puts into every cup rises to the level of art. I think she could make a great espresso from sand. Along with the Cafe Hey, this is the one other place that you could move as is to any major foodie city in the world and it would kill. If you have a craving for a superlative espresso this is the place to go. Limited hours however, so check first.

I have never left a bad review for any business. I understand that some things are out of their control but I have to say something.I came in with my husband and spent 50$ including a 10$ tip for service. Of this experience that is probably my biggest regret. My husband ordered the sconewich, which stated it had bacon, eggs, etc.First of all its not sconewich its a scone with eggs thrown on top and absolutely no bacon to be found.When we brought this up to the owner she snapped back its very popular and if I wanted I could spend more money on another item. Ive never had an experience where I sent back an item and was changed for it and not offered something else. The owner told me to write this review so here I am...I really wanted to like this place, cool atmosphere, but really the food is extremely mediocre. The salads are pre-made like the grab and go at the airport... the bagel with salmon I got for $14 was okay and only had cream cheese on one side??????Really disappointing considering Im new to the area but I really hope that if you want to eat something in the area pick from ANY of the other amazing places. We should have waiting in line at Ellas.

This place is just two short blocks from my house and is really easy to miss if driving. It is right beside the Edison St entrance to the Grow Financial. I go for the paleo dk chocolate Ginger scone that is my favorite. In addition to coffee they have started selling locally bottled Mother Kombucha products which makes me very happy as those are great folks too. It can be standing room only but this place is great as a quick pit stop when running around or picking the kids up.
