I have to agree with some of these reviews. The estimator Jeff M. is definitely a character. He just seemed off and did not leave a good first impression. He came to give me a quote for a pool enclosure, and when he arrives he asks me several times you want it enclosed, in which I replied yes every time. I told him I wanted it to include the second story and he replies stating this company hasnt enclosed a 2 story home in the last 5 years, also stating that insurance carriers wont cover it. However, plenty of my neighbors have 2 story pool enclosures, I am positive their insurance providers cover it. In addition, the very first thing he said to me when I met him in the back yard, was about my non existent pavers in the back of my yard. This is because I am in the process of building a pool and the pool builder hasnt gotten to that stage yet. He then criticized stating that they should finish the pavers. Based on the reviews, its as if this is the only estimator Anderson Aluminum has. Simply put, Jeff should say less and just take the measurements and provide the client with the quote.

I hired this company to build a porch in my house from scratch; I am extremely satisfied with the way my new porch turned out, this beautiful creation was thanks to Jeff who came to my house to make the previous measurements and design recommendations and make the most of this improvement for my house under my budget, Herman, who did the concrete part, did an amazing job even when he had challenges due to uneven terrain, then John Rose put the parts together and completed this wonderful job.Anderson Aluminun processed the permits and any another city requisites, also, the cost was similar to that of other contractors but with poor reviews. 5 stars.

Professional surface with upfront prices. Arrived on time go give an estimate an estimate on pool cage enclosure which was installed within 1 week of estimate. Very satisfied with quality of product. Highly recommended !

I couldn’t agree more with some of the one star comments and reviews. I asked for an estimate for a lanai and they sent their installer Jeff. He was quite the character; very arrogant and condescending. When I asked him if he had a portfolio so I could look at some ideas he looked at me like I had three heads. So then I asked him what options I had and he continued to talk in a condescending manner as if I was a 5 yr old. He made several comments about my German shepherd as well that’s very protective. I guess my dog is smarter than I thought. At least now I know he can sniff out an a-hole a mile away!

I spent 10k on a patio. I’ve had it less than a year. It leaks every where. Biggest waste of money ever. I’ve asked them to fix it and the only help I got was to have them to tell me to remove the end cap for the super gutter. Now it just floods around my ac unit. It continues to leak all over my hot tub slowing rotting the wood. I could not be more disappointed.

Had concrete poured on a rainy day So I have dips, ( concrete shouldn’t of been done if rain in forecast ) The concrete man came out and kept sanding it down so now I have water sitting in these dips. He put concrete patch in which did not match with the concrete I just had poured. Then he started painting my floors to match with the dark gray on my house. Now I have Cracks on a 4 inch pad less then a year old. And told I live in Florida! Think twice who you use to do your dreams..

If I could give them -5 stars I would have. The estimator Jeff Mainger arrived late, with a WHOLE ATTITUDE about it being hot out. Not only was he VERY condescending, he clearly did not respect anything I had to say. He asked me questions, when I answered he would roll his eyes and talk about how it doesnt make sense. He said MULTIPLE TIMES that maybe he should talk to my husband because he may know what hes talking about. He also talked down about other contracting companies and how no one is as good as him. If it werent for my daughter being present, I would have cussed him out and sent him away immediately. Its unfortunate because we own multiple properties and was hoping to use them to get them all screened. This man should not be working in any type of customer service role AT ALL. I would not encourage anyone to use Anderson Aluminum!! His quote was MUCH higher than others weve gotten anyways

They replaced our front porch. It looks great. They actually installed our original one 30 years ago, so they last well.

The gentlemen did a great job in a timely manner even though they ran into an unforeseen problem. Once they removed the old roof they found the wall had water damage that needed to be repaired. Working against the clock cause rain was imminent they went to get materials needed and repaired the wall before more damage could be done.. they returned first thing in the morning and did a great job replacing the roof.. I feel relieved and ready for the rainy season. Thanks guys

We had a panoramic screen installed with a side door on our patio. They went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. They were prompt and took their time on installation. Smooth process, couldn’t be happier!

Eric and there team are nice until they get there money. After that they could careless. I had a roof problem, very common problem in these reviews, took him 2 months to get a hold of him and when I did and showed my frustration on there customer service. He screamed at me, the customer. If you want a actual good company that cares about you and does great quality work. Go with North Tampa Aluminum or Terk Aluminum. The review ratings dont lie people!

They came in to gave us a quote on our screen porch.The estimator told us he will email the estimate in two days.Never call us back or email us.After two weeks of no hearing from them we contacted AA and they apologized for the delay.We gave them more time and 6 weeks after the estimate we have to go personally to the office and then it was when they will start the whole process of getting the city permit.No communication at all with us and if we wouldnt contacted them I dont think we wouldnt get any response.Any way, we lost 6 weeks waiting and they lost a costumer because we ended canceling.We thought it was convenient because they are very close to is and it is a family business but they didnt show any professionalism to us.

My patio began to leak and being that the warranty of the work is about to expire, and even after speaking to them personally, no one ever showed up or attempt to find a resolution and now after numerous messages they won’t return any calls. Huge disappointment.

Anderson Aluminum recently did an outstanding job on my parents screen porch. They are repeat customers and original screen was done 14+ years ago. They did a great job rescreening and adding a kick plate. They kept their appointment time, cost was what was originally discussed and the time to complete was as they said it would be. Highly recommend!

I wanted to wait enough time to give an honest review about the service I received from Anderson Aluminum. I am more than pleased with the job that was done on my back patio which I had closed in and covered with, another good recommendation, the insulated roof. My enclosure stood through hurricane IRMA and did not budge while tiles where flying of neighbors’ roofs. I can honestly say Anderson’s vision of my backyard enclosure was better than mine! I highly recommend using Anderson Aluminum for your upcoming projects. Awesome job guys!

Anderson built our Florida room. The roof leaked and they could not fix it. Had to have someone else do it. Now roof needs simple maintenance due to age and they do not want to do the work unless they charge us a fee to look at it and then schedule the work. Think twice before using them then decide no.

I was very impressed with the crew that came and installed our new screen room over our pool:-) they showed up on Monday and by Wednesday it was complete! Two men stick built it onsite, from measuring, to removing the old gutter, they hadMe involved to make sure I was happy with the overall job! When the building inspector showed up today he said he has never seen a company install such a complete and nice screen room:-) again my wife and I thank you for such a great job!

I contacted this company seeking an estimate for replacing an aluminum screened lanai cage with composite roof. Jeff, the estimator visited my property on June 5 meeting with me and inspecting my current structure. He took measurements to create an estimate. When I asked him if he could email me a formal estimate he seemed perturbed. He did write my email address on his notes, but I have never received an estimate or even a phone call. I called the office 2 days after his visit seeking the estimate and I was told he wasnt available but a note would be placed on his desk to call me. As of Sat., June 9, I do not have an estimate from Jeff. A very disappointing and time wasting experience with Anderson Aluminum. Be wary.

Horrible company a small lenai customer is just not important enough to them. Tried numerous times to get a quote. No luck. Oh well maybe Covids affecting them. Best of luck to them.

Jusy got an insulated patio cover installed. The estimator that came out was very helpfull in helping me decide on the design. The cost was better than others. The process was easy and they took care of all the permitting. The install was on time and completed surprisingly quickley and with quality. Definetly recommend requesting a qoute from Anderson Aluminum.

Tried to set an appointment for someone to quote a pool screen enclosure. Spoke with an Yvonne in their office. Very nice lady. She said she would have someone call me. Never got that call. I even followed up a week after my initial call. Waited another week. Nothing. Guess they dont need the business. Lucky them.

I had them build a 16 x 18 screen room on my house.They were very professional and courteous. It only took 2 days and they cleaned everything up perfectly.I love my screen room and even the owner Don Anderson kept in touch with us thru The whole job.As a matter of fact he even had us postpone a week because of hurricane Irma. Very poor work and customer service. They installed a roof on our back patio... Ive had to call them 2 or 3 times to fix a leak that occurs in the same spot. Which that leak has now once again returned after 2 years. They will not come out to look at it unless I pay for a service fee which I am not going to do obviously it is very shoddy work if it keeps leaking in the same exact spot Time After Time apparently theyre using a faulty product. I would highly recommend that you do your homework if you decide or even think about using this company their customer service is terrible they are rude and they dont return phone calls

They put a screened in patio on the back of my house about 3 years ago. I was told I would have to wait for them to come out because they had a client who had a more expensive job and had to service him first.The lack of customer service didnt end there. They offered to put a screen door on my front door for $150 since I didnt have one. It was just a patio door like they put on the enclosures - not a real screen door - which I could of bought for less. It doesnt even fit right.Then after it was finally said and done the entire thing leaked all down the screens and around the riser wall after the first rain. They didnt finish sealing. It was hard to get them to come back out. I was told I was too far away from their office (referenced gas and miles) and would have to wait for them to have another job close to me to make it worth their time.To this day the riser wall still leaks when there is a hard rain. I called last summer to see if they would come out to take a look and the owner told me that if I couldnt find anyone else that he would consider sending someone out but preferred I found someone else.Dont let the owner fool you when he comes out for a quote. He seems really nice and helpful. It is all an act. As soon as they have your money they are done with you and get in and out as fast as possible. My porch does look really nice but the other issues with this company as well as the leaking out weigh the look.

We recently had our pool lanai rescreened by Anderson Aluminum. While the crew left a bit of a mess and they had to come back twice to fix minor issues, the screening looks great and is now complete. Eric was responsive and performed all necessary follow-up. I appreciate his thorough and prompt service.

Basically called to get information on getting my patio fixed and extended and the guy couldnt stress enough that it practically would be an inconvenience for their guys to use their gas and come out for a service call. How else are u going to get business? Do not recommend them at all, find someone else who is willing to want to do the job.

Anderson Aluminum built a room enclosure for us and it couldnt have turned out better. Additionally, they worked around our time constraints which couldnt have been convenient for them. Throughout it all they were courteous, concerned and professional. In light of my experience I have to be suspicions of negative reviews. Id have absolutely no reservations using Anderson Aluminum again and Id whole heartedly recommend them to friends and strangers alike.

Jeff the estimator came out to give us a quote to rescreen our pool cage and replace our lanai pan roof with a new bonded roof. He told us we would have to put down ½ of the job down before starting the job and wrote the price down on his business card. We are very weary of anyone asking for that kind of cash before starting the job. When we asked if they pressure wash after the job was done, we were told that it would be at an additional cost. He never sent us the quote we requested and didn’t think this company was very professional and opted to go with another company who told us we didn’t have to pay anything until the job was completed and we were satisfied. We are happy we didn’t go with Anderson Aluminum.

Getting them to come out, and look at the door, after it gets jacked up, is nearly impossible. First, they tell you they will be there the next morning. Then, two days later after no one shows up, they say, no, I said I would try to get someone out this week. REALLY? I know what I was told! I do not care for that shady feeling when it comes to a business, im really sorry, we got really swamped, we will get to you as soon as we can, would go a long way.

I had Anderson put a new metal roof on my utility building and an insulated roof on my lanai. The utility bldg. roof is fine. The lanairoof is another story. I leaks like a sieve. I tried for 3 months toget someone to come out and fix it. All I got were excuses as to whythey couldnt come. Finally, a very rude individual came out, spentabout 2 minutes looking at the roof, said it wasnt their problem,and left. They tried to tell me that the problem was with the existinghouse roof. This week I had the house roof replaced . I asked theseroofers about the problem. These roofers told me what should have been done that Anderson didnt do. Anderson will not admit to making amistake and will not do anything to make it right. Look for someonewho will stand behind their work and make it good if there is aproblem. That is definitely not the Anderson way.

Utterly pathetic, rude, tardy, insulting, and sexist. Just look at all the poor reviews given by women on here.Accompanied a real estate investor friend who was getting an estimate for work. A Jeff Mainger showed up late with no call to inform us he was running late. He then exhibited all the signs of a rude and unprofessional person.He tried to gauge our knowledge and asked if we had other companies provide estimates, we said no, but the truth is we did. Like a con man he begins to talk to us like we don’t know anything and begins his barrage of insults.He didn’t even have the decency to talk to my friend who is a woman, no instead he kept speaking to me. I had to keep telling him it was her home and he should address her. He then proceeded to insult the home because of the odd work previous owners had done which my friend is trying to fix. He then insulted her insinuating she shouldn’t have bought the home. Um, the home has increased in value since purchase. Lol.He goes on to insult the community, saying that he sees a lot of work being done in the area and he hopes it’s not like what he is looking at, despite the fact that the community has continual growth.He then insults his own company, saying he’s so busy running all these crews and he’s not even an anderson. Then he goes on about parts of the home completely unrelated to the project.I was there hoping to talk to this man about projects of my own, but I didn’t bother. My friend is a real estate investor who lives a few homes down from her real estate broker. We had a good laugh about this.These people are utterly pathetic, insulting to women and deserve no ones business.

I cannot believe that these people are still in business. We had a new aluminum roof put on our patio area due to leaks having created a VERY HEAVY and dangerous existing roof. At first we truly felt these guys were our answer to replacing an old aluminum roof with a quality job.The sales rep was great - and even though he misquoted the job the first time around (not seeing how truly bad the existing aluminum structure was) he followed through and did what he promised.Once the crew came on site they did not lay any tarp down to protect our beautiful pavers on the lanai, they took the old roof structure down with dangerous and messy methods that left behind a horrible work place, and when they installed the new roof they used caulk that should NEVER be used outside and they never tar taped the entire job (and that is required by code we were told).Where they did use tar tape they used a narrow one and it had so many wrinkles in it that allowed leaking that we ended up with more leaks than before. We finally JUST found someone to fix the more than $2,000.00 job we paid Anderson to do.

I had a screen porch done 8 x 23 which its not that large. I had an appointment to get installed on a Monday and no one showed up nor a courtesy call, we had to call the office and ask why the installer did not showed up. Their excuse was that he got tied up on another job. I wanted to cancel the job, but, Bill said that it will definite was going to get done on Tursdaythe intaller finished he told he was done and wanted to be paid for the second half. I told he that I will pay the office. After he left I review the job and found that half of the side/bottom have not been cocked, 1/4 had. My husband called the office but, Bill keept hanging on him and not taking the job seriously l. I called Bill and send him the pictures I took. He had the installers come yesterday 11-22. Not only they were late 1 hour afer the time they said. I showed then the dents and scrapes also the half cocked sections. Then one of the panels had a scrape and they touch it up with paint (I saw them do it) and they denied it. One of them got very nasty he was not the original installer that came the first time. He started yelling that he was not a lier then he told to the orivinal installer Lets replace yhis piece of S@#$ and started packing fist and throwing his arm up in the air and screaming thi F@%$*^$ S#$%& aloud. That the AC techniciansee that I had viewing my AC came around the corner to see what was happening. He then trew thing and walked on top of my plants. Also my new pavers he cracked when he used a hammer to take a screen out from the paneling that they had to removed. DO NOT USE THE COMPANY one of the installed has issues and he need to go to Anger management. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO COMANY AT ALL!!!!
