Joe was very friendly and helpful. Brought my outboard starter motor in to replace Bendix and he showed me that my brushes were worn so he prevented a future failure. He offered to rebuild it same day so I could be on the water next morning, but found an already rebuilt starter in inventory.The shop is very clean and orderly, sign of a well run business. Anyway I highly recommend this business

The owner of this shop took my generator in while we were under hurricane warning for Irma. Got it up and running by early afternoon and allowed us the comfort of having a fully operable generator if we had lost power. Thankfully we did not. I highly recommend this business.

Scott helped me when I came in and brought him a burnt up alternator from my Jeep. He went out of his way to check for parts at their other location. He found them, and had me up and running within a business day. Great service, great craftsmanship.

I have never received such great service from any company. Joe is beyond great! He not only fixed a minor issue with my 1976 alternator and refused payment... he delivered it to my house on his way to another delivery!! He even offered to come by and help me with the installation if I had trouble. Im speechless. He has does done great work for me in the past, and I would highly recommend using his services. Its hard to find anyone to do rebuild work these days, since everything has become so disposable. I am glad I found him. He is the BEST!!!!!

Excellent service. Took my alternator to him and he replaced it off the shelf. Showed me the problems with my old one, made certain I knew how to reinstall it, and offered to walk me through it over the phone. Couldnt have been more pleased. The whole process took less than an hour. And the price was very fair.

My 1999 Subaru Outback had several old age issues (161K) and after having the dealer in Port Richey be negligent in not even testing the alternator when they replaced the battery (even though it was indicated) and another repair shop quoting me $150 more than Tarpon Starter & Alternator I was over being taken advantage of. Joe was kind, gave me a GREAT price for a new alternator, made an appointment, got it done quickly and was sensitive to my physical challenges while I was in the shop waiting for my vehicle. There are few business owners of his caliber left in this world. It was well worth the trip down to Tarpon Springs all the way from Hudson and gave me great peace of mind. If you need alternator/starter work done I couldnt recommend a better place than Tarpon Starter & Alternator. Thank you for taking very good care of me when I really needed it.
