Charlie S. was the sales man that helped me purchase a car. As soon as I waked in he greeted me with a smile. Charlie didnt try to pressure me into buying a car like most salesmen do. Charlie made you feel like a part of their team/family. I would recommend anyone looking for a car to this dealership and speak with Charlie he was excellent.

Very easy to drop off car for 90k service. Gave me a loaner car. Explained everything needing to be done to our car in great detail and answered all our questions. After looking at the car the service advisor called to let us know what they found, what needed to be done and how much it was going to cost. Even though repairs may cost more at the dealer you know that they are using factory parts, factory recommended fluids and the labor is under warranty.

After getting final figures, I went in to complete the transaction with a cashiers check. None of the figures (which i wrote down each charge and what it was) were honored, and further was told that I supplied th mis-information, hence further calling me a liar and presuming I was as unethical a the treatment I was receiving. this transaction was extremely untruthful unethical. It just didnt sit well with me, so much, that I open of business-- the next full business day, I called to discuss and requested to return the car for a full refund. When i wen to pick up my trade in-- there was damage to it, which I stated was there before-- they insisted it was there and that they had pictures. When I asked to see the pictures-- i was told that they didnt have them, but they had video I asked to see the video, and was then told that the only way thy would show the video to me was if I sued them. I was peacefully and calmly waiting inside the dealership, I was told I could wait outside. I stayed inside in the A/C and calmly waited for my check. I asked if they could just have some one manually put the sliding door back on, as I had children and it was unsafe to drive with a door that wouldnt shut, I was refused, as they didnt want to touch the vehicle. I expressed that I ad 2 small kids in car seat and never would have driven with a door that didnt close, and the Sales manager continued to abrade me on how the car was that way when he got it and continued to tell me that if he were me, he would have walked away from the deal to purchase their vehicle. The fact that when I called to report the incident to Eddie that morning-- that he already knew about it and was quick to offer e to be able to bring the vehicle back, tells me that they were doing some very unethical, shady dealings. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Doug my CSR was really great to work with, he was friendly and efficient. My car was serviced and was back to me in a day. I have stayed out of the dealership service departments for over 15 years, Acura of Tempe and Doug have brought me back.

The buying and finance experience was flawless.Stephanie was exceptional demonstating all the features of the RDX. When the vehicle finally arrived, she again went over all the features and answered all our questions. We purchased a cargo cover and Stephanie personally ensured it was installed correctly.Our only criticism was our initial visit to the dealership. We were in the showroom looking at all the vehicles and NO ONE approached us for about 20 minutes. At other dealerships, a sales person typically welcomes us as we approached the showroom. We were about to leave when my wife spoke to Stephanie who just returned to her desk. Once that connection was made, the experience was flawless.

I will always get my car repaired at Acura. Just not Acura of Tempe. $950 to replace a starter. While installing the starter they broke the battery cable and then wanted me to pay $250 to repair the cable on top of the $950. I was never told the cable was broken until my son went to pick up the car. The worst part was that they let my son drive home with a broken cable. I wont be back.

I was bummed because I bought an Acura and was told that remote start was included on all their vehicles. They said it was through an app on the phone and that was it. I buy the vehicle, get home and mess with the app and find out you only get one year free trial membership. So you only get remote start for one year. Totally bogus. I contacted my salesman about it and he offered to pay for the extra 2 years of the app membership so I can have remote start for my entire 3-year lease. I didn’t like feeling like Acura was nickel and diming their customers, but I appreciated Robert Ross hearing my concern and taking care of it for me.

We love Acura, we are on our 3rd one. However, if it wasnt for them having the used one we have been looking for, we never would have done business with them. Sales guy was not motivated to help us from the beginning. My husband actually got in a big argument with him about customer service. I guess they assume in this market they dont need to have customer service but that will change soon and they are going to be in a rough place.

I loved the fact that managers here work. When me buying the car every one was friendly. Even though it was late almost to closing time they still went beyond to help us and did not felt rushed. Every one was involved in the sale and explained everything very well. In detail. A lot of fees but they explained those fees with the “who, what, when, where, and most importantly why”

BEWARE OF INTERNET PRICING. Felt like bait and switch. Received a detailed offer of price wanted to pay. When went to pay they told me price was only valid if financing through Acura. They wouldnt allow me to purchase using my credit union financing. They even said couldnt purchase at that price paying with cash. The interest rate they offered was 2% higher that my Approved loan with credit union. They told me to finance with Acura then refinance a few months later. I drove 2 hours from Tucson to purchase the car based on the price they quoted and even confirmed on the phone. The price quote never disclosed anywhere was only if financed with Acura. Was my credit union that referred the car buying service for members to get best pricing through True Car. Was told price would be $3,000 higher if didnt finance through Acura.

Not a trustworthy dealership. They took complete advantage of my girlfriend when she purchased the car here (salesman bullied her into a “care plan” she was led to believe covered everything and nothing has ever been covered under this plan). If you take your vehicle in for service or repair they begin doing things without checking with her first and then call and tell her she owes money regardless if she wants to proceed with repairs or not. The most recent visit was north of $700 for a 1 year old vehicle. I dread the thought of something going wrong with her car because every time she has to deal with Acura of Tempe, she ends up in tears.

So I bought an MDX for my wife a few months ago, along with 5 years of Auto Butler Service (it fixes any scratches, dings, etc.). I attempt to schedule my first Auto Butler service, which I paid for, for a week. I left two voicemails...no call back. Tried the email approach...nada. Then I use the chat feature and get someone! They take my name, vehicle info, mileage, and schedule me. I adjust my work schedule and take in my wifes MDX. And then...I dont even have an appointment. I greatly appreciate having my time wasted by someone I am paying. Very frustrating experience, not what I expect from a luxury dealership.

I recently bought two cars from Acura of Tempe, a new TLX for myself and a 2021 RDX for my wife as a surprise anniversary gift. Rob, my sales advisor, did a fantastic job helping me trade my cars in and helped me surprise my wife.There was a lot of emailing going back and forth and once we were able to work out a deal, we were able to surprise my wife on our anniversary. I had to drop off my spare key that my wife keeps for my previous car and, when we walked in, Rob was able to give my wife the keys to her new 2021 RDX (she had no idea!)It was a great surprise and my wife and I love our cars. I had been looking for just some sort of 04-08 TL and the second I learned about this diamond Type-S I jumped on getting down to Tempe! This was on new years eve no less!Rob was amazing in knowing I was coming in for one thing and that one thing only! Never for a second did he question where I was going and he just made it happen. I have had my Acura TLX since 2015 recently I had my service light come on. I called the service department and got a voicemail, left a message and no one returned it. Since then I have left 4 more messages and had the same response. I got through once only for the lady to tell me they dont give out loaners anymore unless it is a big maintenance job and they do not pick up and drop off vehicles anymore from the customers home. So your only option is to go in and sit there and potentially be exposed to Covid19. I requested to talk to the Service Manager Abel Talbo and got a voicemail. Left a message and no response. Called 3 times today and pressed the option for service then operator then sales and got voicemail for each one. Been 2 months since I started trying to get a service arranged and I am no further ago. Seems they are short staffed and have created some rather customer unfriendly rules. Sad cause I used to sing their praises as I have never had anything but superior service from 2015 until now.

It takes a lot for me to be upset enough to write this. Terrible service department. This is not just from a single visit but a culmination of all of my visits. There has been an issue every time I come in. Not securing battery connection- car died while moving after I left, busting a gasket so oil leaked all over my garage (took another day for them to fix that), not to mention keeping accurate records of services recommended so there is confusion on their end.I love the brand and have always had my car serviced at a dealership. Didn’t buy here, moved from another state but took it to them as soon as I moved here. Won’t buy from them now either. Overall it has been a disappointment and I have no confidence in their ability to maintain relationships. Poor customer service, poor service.

I would like to start by saying that although I live all the way in Sun City, I intentionally purchased two vehicles from Acura of Tempe in the last year because I generally enjoy getting service and doing business there.They are normally five-stars!This time however, I had an issue with my new 2020 ILX that could have been catastrophic.I made the appointment for its second oil change and remote start install, among other accessories and explained that I work in California and make the trip home every-so-often to visit family and deal with medical, house or car issues when required.I picked up my vehicle Saturday afternoon when I was notified of its completion. I drove it to my home in Sun City and woke up Sunday morning to make the drive to California.Sunday afternoon my daughter, who is still at my home in Arizona called and said there is oil all over the garage floor where I was parked the night before.I called Acura of Tempe multiple times starting early Monday morning and left multiple messages but never got a call back.I wanted to let them know of the situation and hopefully get them to quarterback it with the local Acura dealer here in California.Since I never got a call back, I drove the vehicle to the local Acura dealer and showed them the photo of the oil on my garage floor and explained the situation.They were nice enough to work me into their schedule and confirmed that the plug was installed without a washer and the leak had sprayed all over the underbody on my trip to California but they didnt note any significant engine damage.They replaced the oil plug/washer and topped off the oil and attempted to clean the oil the best they could.I have faith that this was an honest mistake, and I am still hopeful that Acura of Tempe will eventually get back to me so I can explain how we dodged a potentially catastrophic situation.

In Sep 2020 I canceled the extended warranty I was pressured to buy in the 1st place on a vehicle I purchased for my daughter. It took almost 7 months of back n forth, dealing with Joe the finance manager n Nina the controller later towards the end of the process. I called n emailed every month. Kept getting the run around or they would say its being processed, half the time my calls would be transferred n eventually the line would get disconnected. I tried to contact upper management but was unable to reach them. Had to go to the BBB website to find the owners names, but was unable to contact them. Joe was the worst, and this was intentional. But after seven months this has finally been resolved.

It should be embarrassing for this fine dealership to sell a car with only 5% on the brakes. Is it legal? Sure. But it still feels like a dirty trick.There were other issues with the car, that I overlooked because it was expected wear n tear - but this was basic. Also, no fluid in the wiper spray.

Absolutely the worst car related experience I have EVER had. I have an Acura MDX that was purchased used from a Honda dealer, and 3 times I have had to come in to have parts replaced so that they would be fixed under the Acura Factory Warranty. I have been with Todd once and Doug twice. These are possibly the most shady and rude people I have ever been around. I was told by Honda of Chandler that my car needed a new catalytic converter and to take it to this dealership so it would be covered. They had turned the warning lights off so that while I waited for the part to come, there werent those annoying lights on. When I got there, I explained to Doug that they had done this and Doug told me that there was physically no way for them to check and see if something was wrong with the car unless that light was on- they just COULD NOT take it. I asked if they could do their 150 point inspection to check and see if things were wrong, to which he said they could not..... interesting. So I called Honda back and asked them if this was true, and they basically said that it is as simple as plugging in a computer and having the code come up, even if the light wasnt on...and that it sounded like they just did not want to look at it. I also told Doug that my car had been worked on by kind of a shady repair place and that I was concerned about the quality of work done on my suspension...AND that it was making lots of noises while driving. He told me to take it BACK there, and that they couldnt look at that either, unless there was a code. He was rude, insulting and explained all of this with a horrible attitude to my entire family. If I could give 0 stars I would. Awful, crooked people. Acura of Scottsdale may be a little farther for some, but it is SO worth the drive. Very honest people who work hard and have always been nice and accommodating to me when Ive come in.

I personally had a horrible experience on 1/17/2020. I walked in and an older gentleman stopped me at the entrance and asked, how can i help you? I explained that my current car loan was upside down and the apr was high. I wanted to trade in the car and put the left over balance on top of the new loan. He basically asked me to use the gap insurance on my current loan and burn the car or leave it on Camelback somewhere until it was stolen. I was in shock but allowed him to speak his mind. He mentioned that not one dealer would be able to assist as my car was worth nothing and I owed too much on it. He never asked me to come inside and run an app to see if they could assist in any way. he never even looked at my vehicle either. I was discouraged and lost hope of finding someone to help me. I ended up saying thanks and walked away. I called 2 other dealers and they both asked me to come in and they will appraise my current vehicle and check my credit. I am now the proud owner of a 2020 toyota camry se thanks to the amazing staff at a different location. I hope this sales person is addressed on the way he addressed the whole situation. what a shame 🤦‍♂️

One of the worst experiences ever. I asked to cancel the service contract the day right after my purchase and was told that I could not cancel and had to wait 6 months. I contacted the service contract administrator that informed me I have every right to cancel at any time and that the dealership could send the cancellation documentation to them. I then went into the dealer and the person in contracts said that he could not cancel until after 6 months because someone would be out of their commission. Which is my problem why? If a customer returns a product, then you give them that money back and you keep the product right? common sense. This has been going on since May. I finally got someone to send me the cancellation document June 10 and the service contract administrator still has not received anything and the policy is still active. Management clearly doesnt care so Ill just leave this review here and maybe theyll see it and do their job. Its a simple task.

Overall a great experience. Quick and easy. Very streamlined process. I was there for recall work and they got me in right away. My only suggestion would be since that was my first time in there, I would have liked an overall assessment of the vehicles condition. I bought it used 6 months ago and while I did just have it serviced, a basic consultation maybe showing what future maintenance milestones are coming up would have been nice.

I purchased my first Acura from this dealership back in April 2019. It’s by far been my absolute favorite vehicle I’ve ever owned. I worked with Patrick during the purchasing of the car and he was awesome!! VERY knowledgeable and an overall good guy! Yesterday I went in for my first oil change and Khoa in the service department went above and beyond for me! I highly recommend this dealership, I’m a customer for life. Our recent experience in Acura, Tempe was a pleasant surprise. Instead of usual pushy environment of sales we encountered friendly professional atmosphere. Rob from the Internet sales department made our day. He has a wide range of car knowledge and is a walking Acura encyclopedia, who was able to answer all our questions and clarify everything. He is also just a pleasure to talk to. Originally we were not committed to buy a car that day, but we seamlessly changed our mind after talking to Rob. We are very happy with the purchase and definitely recommend this dealership and Rob to everyone.

Great service here. Like all dealerships, their service pricing structure is built to factor in overhead so be prepared to pay more than a smaller shop. Ive found them to be honest however and thats a huge plus for auto repair!
