I’m not one to leave a review but this place deserves it. Believe the reviews when you read them. I was very hesitant due to the reviews but I still decided to go and give it a try since it is a minute down the road. These workers are not friendly AT ALL. And they will fail your inspection for reasons that are not accountable. After they told me they could not pass, I went to the place next door and guess what I passed. Don’t go to this place. Save yourself the time and hassle of these rude employees
I went there to get an Oil change and my car inspected. I immediately noticed my brake light was on and brake oil leaking. I went right back and they shrugged off like it happens all the time. I called them up and admittedly was on edge and the guy started swearing and saying I was blaming him. Never again.what I was trying to find out what happened. To swear at a customer and treat me like you did makes me feel like you are being defensive. He offered me to watch the video since he says it is recorder.
In all honesty never go here. They will try and make you pay for expensive oil by mumbling what type of oil you want and will try and get you to pay for parts you do not need in your car. Go anywhere but here, and if you do make sure you know what you want before you go. I went here a week ago out of convenience and I will never step foot in here again.In regards to their response:They did not offer me various options. All he said was “Synthetic?” and walked away. Next thing I know I am being footed a $90 bill. They’re price options on the wall do not match up to what he said to me that day. I understand that it is my choice, but I should have been presented with a clearer understanding of what he was putting in my car.
This was by FAR the worst experience I have ever had with getting an inspection sticker/oil change. I thought I would try this location out and support a local small business---boy was I wrong.From the onset I was met with a rude employee taking my car in. The oil change portion was fine---albeit for them trying to sell me a cabin filter I did not need. The state inspection sticker was a different story. The person who was performing the inspection called me out of the waiting room and showed me a single streak left from my windshield wiper and told me that I needed to buy new ones--which they had for $25/piece--or I would be receiving a reject sticker. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my wipers. They gave me an R sticker and said I had 60 days to replace my wipers.When I was then paying for the services, I told the rep I left like I was being held hostage to buy products from them I did not want. I told the representative that I was trying to support a small business and based on the above I would not be returning. Their response---good we dont want you to return. I then asked for the managers phone number/email so I could speak with them about the way I was being treated. The representative refused ---saying they did not want to give me the contact information of their boss.I drove .1 mile to Napa Auto Parts, replaced my wipers for $25---including installation--and returned to SoonerLube. At this point I was met with a significant amount more rudeness and frustration for me coming back. I watched from the waiting room as they looked at my vehicle--- they did not even try/look at the new wipers I had just purchased!!!I did take a video of my wipers prior to having them replaced. I will be reporting this to the Mass State inspection authorities as I do not believe proper training on what passes/fails is properly being administered at this shop. Furthermore, based on them not checking what they had just failed me for is further reinforcement they were just trying to sell me things I did not need. They knew my vehicle would have passed with my old wiper blades.If a manager/owner does read this-- I would like to speak with someone ASAP. I will update this review when I speak with someone in management from SoonerLube.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! JiffyLube is right down the street.

Quick and easy inspection, in and out in about 20 mins. Would suggest putting some instructions on a sign outside for inspection. Was unaware you drive up and park at an inspection queue line, and leave keys and documents in car. I’m used to parking at most other places and bringing documents and keys inside. Their way is easier and faster, but just saying I was unaware.
I went to get a state inspection. They drove my vehicle in. 5 minutes later come in and tell me i need to have my lift removed. Asked why? They continue to tell me they can see i have a 4”-6” lift on the vehicle (funny, which is it? 4 or 6 decent gap to not know when this is your job) they tell me it won’t pass inspection due to this issue. Little do they realize i bought the vehicle and had the 2” lift put on and supplied by Toyota themselves! So they were already lying about my vehicle to try and make more money off me.I grab my keys and leave I’m not dealing with shady mechanics that appear to have barely passed high school! Took it to another place. They passed inspection. Best part, it past inspection while their state inspector was standing there watching the inspection!This place is absolutely awful! If they had done their job.. they would’ve known it has a 2” lift. It appears taller cause of the 35” tires and 20” rims.I’d avoid this place at all cost! They also quoted me $130 for an oil change! Small business in Tyngsboro did it for $65!

The place is a parts pusher. If you go for a vehicle inspection or an oil change youll be guaranteed to be offered something else For your car . You just cant tell if its real or there making it up
Very bad experience! Went for an oil change and the staff were not friendly and the price was literally double that of the dealership. However, that’s not the reason for the bad review. I pulled out of the parking lot to look down at my arm rest and see it covered in oil! I immediately turned around and went back. I told them what happened and the guy who did the oil change (who was standing there talking on his cell phone) looked down at his jacket sleeve and saw it had oil all over it. The other man working told me to wait in the waiting room and they’d take care of it – but he never once apologized. The arm rest was wet when they gave the car back to me (in addition to my car smelling like oil) so it wasn’t possible to see if the stain was out. Sure enough, when it dried, the stain was not all gone. I called back (and again, no apology) the person on the phone told me to come in on a specific day and time and he’d take care of it. The whole reason of going to one of these places is the convenience of driving in without an appointment. I ended up buying cleaner and taking care of it myself. So not only did overpay for an oil change, but then I had to pay out of pocket to get the upholstery cleaner. On top of that, there was oil/grease all over the outside handle of the car.

Was rejected the 1st time for small light above license plate being out they offered to replace it for me but I chose to do it myself. Came back they re inspected a very quickly and had me back on the road in no time with no extra charge. Truly pleasant and very quick. Highly recommended.

We just left this establishment. We went in for an oil change and inspection. Due to Covid-19 we were asked to leave the vehicle and they drove it in. When the work was finished we were surprised by an incredibly high amount for the oil change. We asked why it was so much and were told “because the vehicle requires synthetic”. Which it does not. We told them this and the gentleman walked away saying “I’m not the one that did it”. This is outrageous and bad business. Charging over $80 for an oil change is robbery!
Staff is helpful and quick service
I went there went there 7/18/2020 for an inspection sticker. I was told that it failed inspection because The driver side caliper was frozen on the wheel and the wheel wouldnt move. I brought it to a mechanic to have it fixed only to find out that the caliper was not frozen to the wheel and the mechanic had no idea what they were talking about. We brought it across the street and it passed inspection with no problem.
Great place to get oil changes done at a cheap price 👍 There is almost always a coupon too. I have never been dissatisfied with their work here and have gotten two oils changes so far.
One of the best places do get regular maintenance done.Way better than any dealership or the Dippy lube places.

It’s a worst place for inspection, they can’t wait to fail your vehicle. They failed my vehicle for stupid viper blade, but it’s completely working. And they looked into tires lifting car and too much small details, don’t go there for inspection!!
It was all right - employees friendly but my broken front directional wouldnt replace bulb so that I would have blinking directional wouldnt even attempt and I had bulb

Sooner Lune is fast and efficient. Not only that, but they offer the best prices compared to their competitors. As a women I have no clue about vehicles, but the technicians are very knowledgeable and the technician are very helpful when it comes to my car and I never feel like Im taken advantage of. I highly recommend this place for a quick lube job(only takes 8 minutes), also they are very reliable when it comes to time, as they are open everyday, as well as their inspection station.
Im grateful for the respectful service I received at Sooner Lube today. Its quite intimidating going into an auto shop for me and they made the experience easy and quick. The technician who worked on my car knew his stuff and explained it to me in a way I could understand. which says a lot. Definitely not afraid to get my oil changed again!

State Inspections? Too many inconsistencies. 3 years ago, had 3rd brake light in back window out .....did not find it? Next year, also did not find it..3rd time 3rd year later oh your back window break light is out? Where have you been Sooner Lube, it has been out for 3 years now ? Also too much steering play? Where? Tie Rods? inner- outers? front end? ball joint..where?...oh we cannot diagnose? Never coming back and we have been coming there for years. Plate sticker missing it was never caught.
Ive been going to Sooner Lube for years now, and they have been very good to me. They have always gave me the best services and affordable prices, compared an over priced Jiffy Lube and Valvoline company. The Technicians are very friendly and informative with anything that is unusual with my vehicle. My vehicle has never had any issues Thanks to the Sooner Lube staff.
I went into this location for an oil change. I had read their website and knew what to expect from their services. First I was told I had to have synthetic oil (not true) and not knowing what I had in there in the past I said put whatever it requires in there. I then asked if they could replace the rear wiper on my car. They said of course and went to check the wiper blade. When it was done I was charged twice what I have been charged it the past four years for the oil change. They insisted on the synthetic oil and after checking my manual I found it was not required. They did not vacuum the car as stated on their website. When I asked they said Oh, we dont do that anymore I then got into the car and noted that the low tire air light was still on and I then asked dont they check tire air anymore. They said Oh, yeah we did but you have to drive for a while before the system resets itself and the light will go off Not true again, light is still on and I have added air in the past and the light goes off immediately. So $80 later I left there a very unhappy customer BUT the worse of it all was when I got home I realized that not only did they not replace my wiper blade but they removed the old one and left nothing on the wiper arm. Rude service people and worst service ever. I would never go back and would never recommend that place to anyone.

My whole family have been coming here for years, good prices, always give you discounts, inform/suggest additional services needed but dont do the high pressure thing, always fast and friendly and they do ALOT more services then most oil change places. Once they even fixed my body kit that was falling apart from a minor accident by screwing it together for $40 so it would pass inspection when as a college student i didnt have the money to get it properly repaired at the time.
Why I wont use Sooner Lube any more.Two weeks ago I went in for an oil change and Mass State Inspection. The technician was friendly enough in a business manner. He did call me into the service bay area to show me my front tires would not pass the safety inspection standards. They failed to explain what those standards are. I was given the required Rejection sticker and an explanation I have 60 days to get repairs done and I can come back for a re-inspection at no additional charge to me. I was also given a 2-page report which includes registered repair shops. It was unclear to me at the time & even now whether or not they even attempted the emissions testing. The oil change otherwise went without incident.Fast forward two weeks: I took my truck into a local repair shop for tires, and a brake inspection. During the brake inspection the mechanic asked me where my master cylinder brake fluid reservoir cap is? Obviously it was not installed where it should be. After speaking with the manager at Sooner Lube, he said to get it replaced and he would reimburse me. After further checking, the manager called me back to explain there is a note on the bottom of the invoice stating the ...brake fluid cap missing prior and they were not responsible. Fair enough I said. But being this is a critical component of the braking system, just noting it on an invoice, that many of us might end up discarding or ignoring, is in my opinion negligent. This is as much of a safety concern as is the bald tires which they did inform me of. These are NOT the people I want working on my vehicle or the vehicles of my wife or children either.On a smaller and separate note is the other fluid & safety checks they do. My mechanic also informed me my cabin air filter was not installed properly and I have been sucking in dirty air into the cabin area. Not a huge safety concern but a potential health hazard and one that should have been addressed and/or brought to my attention.As a customer/consumer and for the amount of money you pay for an oil change and service, fluid, & filter checks, I expect them to follow through with what they notice and not just note it on an invoice. We deserve some basic Consumer Rights. This is why I will no longer use their services.

Would love to give a great review however, after bringing my car in for an oil change, I was told I needed other things. Having just recently purchased the car, I said that I wasnt interested in these at this time, I was told well, your obviously not keen on changing your oil frequently either. I get it, I understand the need to sell other services. I also understand customer service. Rude and condescending comments from your technician have lost you this customer. And Ill be sure to let my friends know as well. Sorry but being polite costs nothing. Rude comments cost you everything.

One star for the experience I had today, went to change my oil and had them check the fluid for my windshield and they disconnect my hose and told me that I have to replaced the motor for windshield fluid because it was sent working and they are going to charge me $ 40.00 to replaced; I called my son and told him about it and all my son did was connected the hose back and it started working, those people all they want is your money.No more!!!!

Recently had a $80 oil change here for my VW Jetta. Shortly thereafter, my check engine light is on and there is oil leaking from my drain pan. Bring it to a shop close to work, the plug wasnt tightened properly after my last oil change, and I was down 4qts of oil. Another $80 later, my car is now repaired and working properly. 2 stars b/c they were friendly, and quick to get my car in for service. Possibly just an oversight by the technician, and I have not called them directly to advise.

They do stickers on Saturdays. My rear license plate is faded. I purchased a replacement plate from the RMV. It takes 4 to 6 months to receive it so the RMV mails you a plate permit. I put my vehicle registration AND the replacement plate permit on the passage seat. After 15 minutes the inspector came in and said it was done but my plate failed. I told him I left the permit with the registration. He brought the car back in and re-inspected it. Ill try them again next year.

I went to get my car inspected and did not pass due to my front bumper not being securely in place . I was OK with the result of the inspection but I was not OK with the way the asian treated me. Instead of notifying me about the problem and a reasonable solution. He raised his voice to me and asked me if I was a millionaire and because I could kill someone if my bumper fell off while driving. When I did not respond, he raised his voice again. Then the noticed he was very professional towards the man behind me who also failed. I do not recommend this area to any women to get an inspection. There are several other places to get inspections further down route 38. Dont go here, this man was very rude for absolutely no reason. This seems to be the new owner.
Ive gone here a handful times for oil changes and light replacements and never had a good experience. Everyone I go there they try to upcharge me for the same things even if I had just had them do it last time. They replaced my headlights but they didnt put it in correctly so it was angled way off to the left at the ground so I brought my car somewhere else to fix it and they were dumbfounded at how poorly it had been installed and thought I tried to install it myself. And then when their mechanics was driving my car out of the bay, he gunned the gas and slammed on the brakes once he got it outside. Even worse, I saw them all laughing about it after. Ill never be taking business here again.
Horrible customer service and totally unprofessional. We brought our car in for an inspection as were new to Mass and just registered it. They failed it for a check engine light and just gave us the code. Joseph got frustrated with us because we didnt understand the re-inspection process saying Ive explained that two times and I literally said that three times when asked a related but not covered question. He couldnt tell us what the code meant, but we were pretty sure we knew. Took it to another garage who said inspection stations can allow one non-safety related failure and are required by law to give you a pamphlet about the code. This other garage did so, as the code was not active anyway (evap sensor), cleared it, and told us to come back in 100 miles for them to check. Since Joseph and Sooner Lube couldnt even be bothered to Google what the code was or provide the paperwork Mass requires I will be reporting them to the RMV. Long story short: DONT GO HERE!

I brought my car into your business to have my oil changed and head light replaced. Little did I know when the headlight burnt out a month later I opened my hood and saw exactly why. Whoever worked on my car when I was there wanted to get me in and out fast. So fast actually that they didnt even bother to re attach the backing of the light where water can enter and the air filter casing wasnt attached, i am now missing 6 easy screw on clips that attaches everything to the frame so I cant even fix it myself without buying the screws ... I just hope that someone takes the time to read this because this is unacceptable. Ive been taking my cars to your establishment for over 10 years and now my family and friends will all know how well you take care of your customers Im not even going to bother having you guys fix what you couldnt in the first place. Hope you guys smarten up cuz your online reviews arent to great either. Pretty sad that you guys are right in a prime location working on so many cars, cars that are probably not the same as when they first entered for a simple oil change and light fix ..
The reason for the poor grade is because change was stolen from my car when I got my car inspected and had an oil change. They were gracious enough to leave my swiss army knife and ipod alone, but roughly $2 in quarters are missing. Pathetic. Like I wouldnt notice? I use parking meters almost every day, so I am constantly checking my quarter collection to make sure I will have enough. Dont expect my business ever again. Ill just got to Valvoline from now on so I can sit in my car while they change my oil. No way of anyone taking my quarters then.

The employees said the boss wasnt there that day and they would do a discount for cash only with no receipt. I also spent $100 on a drive belt and it still had a squeaking problem and brought it to another mechanic and was told the belt was no good and needed to be replaced. Waste of $100

They did not replace the engine cover properly after an oil change and I did not find out until I was on the highway, causing extensive damage.
I have an older car and not only did they do an oil and filter change they also change the transmission fluid and brake fluid in my car feels so much better now and they did the air filter for free.
