We called this location to ask if they had a Fed ex print kiosk and the guy tried to hang up I think but accidentally left us on the line. We drove up there and the cashier said he was the only one there aside from the manager and he insisted that wasnt him but we could clearly see our number on their phone and he kept saying they didnt answer the phone. Super rude,manager rolled her eyes at us and just ignored our presence in an empty store. I never complain but this is absolutely ridiculous. I think well call corporate and see if they can do something about these employees.

We were sent by another Walgreens location because they said this Walgreens had our medicine in stock. When we got there the lady who was at the counter was rude immediately! She was very snappy and did not even try to help us. We asked if she could find another Walgreens that had our medicine in stock for my two year old who was in pain and she flat out said “NO.” Seriously?!Thank God another pharmacist stepped in and she was an angel! She called another location and was able to get our prescription ready.Unfortunately that other lady ruined our visit. And from reading other reviews it seems I’m definitely not the only one who she has treated horribly. Walgreens please find someone else to replace this rude team member. She is a horrible representation of your company!

They sold me chewing tobacco that was expired for 6 years and then refused to let me exchange it, saying that it expires in 2025. There is no such thing as a bag of chew that expires that long after production.

This is the worst Walgreens I have ever interacted with. They pulled my prescription from another pharmacy and then completely lost any record of it. Since the old pharmacy already transferred it, I cant get my medicine from either one now. Please please stay away from here, I ignored the other bad reviews and it was a huge mistake.

Very unsatisfied with the service at this location in the pharmacy. The employees dont care to take your time into consideration. Every time I get a text that my prescription is ready I drive 20 min to this location, which is the closet to me, and every time they tell me it is not ready yet. This has happened more than I can count so their texting system may be messed up. I had an unpleasant experience with Ashley today when I tried to explain the situation she didnt even take what I was saying into consideration but only ignored me and even hung up on me. She should not work in customer service. Way better locations to use, but I guess I will drive 30 min to the next location from now on.

This has got to be the slowest pharmacy ever. The meds are not bagged and ready for pick-up when you pull up and they take forever for every vehicle, not just us...there is always a long line... ugghh..We are going to have to transfer prescriptions again...nothing has changed.

This used to be a great store. Polite and friendly. Employees always ready to help you get your medicine. However, my doctor asked me if I could change pharmacy. She called in to find out what the problem was because I still havent received the medicine after several attempts. They were rude to her and they had no idea if and when I would be receiving the med. So I changed to another Walgreens and have had no problems.

Check that your dr prescription matches what this pharmacy gives you BEFORE YOU LEAVE. They messed up my kids prescription - gave me two weeks worth when the doctor wrote for a full month. When I asked if I could have the pharmacist name he attempted to dodge my question and kept going back and forth on how he should fix the situation - 1st said to bring back the bottle by 3pm before he leaves and he’d fix it. Then he said he’d have to contact the doctor office. Then when I called to ask what I needed to do - bring it or wait he was like “you have two weeks supply you have time”, which is true but I was trying to coordinate my lunch break to whether I needed to take the dang meds back to him to fix or not. Lousy customer service. Dr had to write a two week prescription to get it resolved.Also used the pharmacy window to pick up my pictures I printed/paid for through the Walgreens website - the lady in the pharmacy window was super rude to be bothered by my picture purchase/pickup but Walgreens offers this option and it helps single parents like me from getting my kids out during this coronavirus mess. Could tell she didn’t know how to handle the situation as she had to find someone who knew how to handle the register for this pickup- just wish she didn’t take that frustration out on me.

Went to the pharmacy to drop off a prescription for my wife. I called an hour later to check and see if it was filled. I was told they couldnt fill it because it was written on the wrong prescription pad... Went back to walgreens, picked up the paper, went to a real pharmacists and it was filled in less than 10 min. I have had nothing but bad issues with this walgreens. I will never use them again.

This store is fantastic! The staff were welcoming, professional, polite, attentive and extremely helpful. The store itself was clean and all the aisles were clean and orderly. I hadnt been in a Walgreens for a while and on this occasion, I found myself wondering why I hadnt visited this location sooner.Honestly, this was a five-star shopping experience so I absolutely had to leave a review to express my appreciation to the staff at this location. They deserve it.

I would give this pharmacy 0 stars if I could. They tell you one thing, and then do another altogether. I have waited days for prescriptions that they told me would be ready in hours. They tell you that they will call when your prescription is ready, but the phone call never happens. I would be dead if I still had to wait on them to get my medication. Also, if you have to call them, good luck. Youll be on hold for over an hour.

Slow as Christmas. They text me my meds is ready, I go pick it up sometimes it’s not ready, and they take forever!! Cars are backed up. Get customers out of there. Why make people wait forever? How hard is it to scan the medication, stable the receipt, and go? I don’t get it!! Worst pharmacy around. They do have one lady there that works there she’s super fast and excellent!

I was told that my prescription would take 1.5 hours. I came back in 2 hours and they advised me they did not have my meds at that pharmacy or any other Walgreens in the area.I asked why they didn’t call and let me know instead of having me wait for nothing. Their reply was a dumb founded look and they did not think about it.Walgreens in Texas City use to be the best, but now ANYBODY can run the Texas City store.

I’ve read all the negative reviews and don’t feel they’re deserved. This location is EXTREMELY busy, and the techs have always been helpful to me. The only time I’ve called and been on an extended hold is after Harvey. And, everyone has been kind. I think more people need to realize they aren’t the only people in the world needing their service. Last week, I chose to go inside because the drive through was really backed up. When I was being waited on, I learned that a lady in the drive through was refusing to move because her medication wasn’t ready and wouldn’t be for about 15 mins. She even asked to speak to the manager. Show patience and kindness, and you’ll get it in return. If you work in any form of customer service, you should try it. It makes it hard when people (customers or employees) are rude, but I still smile and do the best I can, but believe me, sometimes it’s incredibly hard.

Called the pharmacy and waited 20 minutes on hold. When the phone was finally answered, they promptly hung up. Theres no recourse for this but to physically go into the store. Thats absolutely ridiculous. These are peoples medications, not a grocery item. Take pride in your job. Good customer service is the difference between a professional, and a joke.

Their phone wasn’t working and hung up on me 5 times. So when I finally got ahold of the front desk they knew about their phone issues so I had them write my number down so the pharmacy could contact me. They finally called me 4 hours later, the pharmacist was so rude to me and told me I had to call my original pharmacy to find out what the issue was in refilling my prescription but he wouldn’t tell me which Walgreens I needed to call. He got rude with me and hung up on me in mid sentence when I was confused on what I needed to call and ask about. Very unprofessional and terrible customer service. Will never use this Walgreens again.

Always 3-4 techs in back yet when a line forms they are TOO busy to let one tech help get the line down. I was next in line and literally waited 30 minutes until I spoke to the pharmacist thru the window and indicated the 8 people behind me which he could clearly see out the window even after my first request. Very bad customer service. They act like youre dumb and you have no clue what youre talking about. I get the same prescription every month I tell them I have to pay full price because its not covered under my insurance and everytime I come to pick it up and they tell me I have to call my doctor to have them call the insurance company. once they realize that Im right and theyre wrong they make me come back two to three hours later to pick it up. So I think its time to move on my whole family for the month pays about $1,000 and co-pays so should be a big chunk of money from the insurance companies going somewhere else

Very busy after hours pharmacy with only one person to fill prescriptions, answer drive through and take care of front counter. Took over an hour to get a turn to pick up simple prescription that had already been faxed in. Multiple calls for help were made over loudspeaker and direct call to manager on duty, but no one ever came. Found store manager visiting with diff duty staff member and child at the front of the store on our way out. Too disgusted to say anything. Very disrespectful to customers and pharmacist.

Wish there was an option to rate this place with no stars! I went in after getting a prescription from the ER. Insurance was effective this month so I still havent received an insurance card in the mail. Not only were the girls on night shift unprofessional, slow, and completely inattentive, but they were also too lazy to AT LEAST attempt to look up the insurance information so that I could get the prescribed medication that was needed urgently. Ive been to many Walgreens on various occasions and never had an issue with a worker verifying the insurance by basic information such as name & date of birth or ssn. I wasnt the only one upset for the terrible customer service that was provided. The lady that was in front of me complained that one of the workers said she was going to verify her insurance information and will be right back to assist her and never came back. Based on other reviews I seen on this place, it looks like upper management needs to reevaluate their workers.

We arrived at the Texas City location at approximately 11:00 pm, after visiting the UTMB Urgent Care in League City, with my 2 year old grandson, who was having asthma. The pharmacist, told my daughter, that she would have to come back in the morning, because he had too many prescriptions to fill, even though, she was the only one there, at the time. This is totally unacceptable, from a 24 hour pharmacy. Really, Walgreens? We wasted an entire evening getting my asthmatic grandson to the doctor, without being able to receive the necessary medicine he needed. Since this is the only 24 hour pharmacy, in the area, Walgreens should hire more night staff, if this is the problem. What has happened to America?!

The only reason this horrible excuse for a pharmacy is getting 1 star is because it requires me to leave one to write a review. EVERY time I call this place I am on hold with the pharmacy for a ridiculous amount of time. Ive resorted to calling the store and asking for a manager to get someone from the pharmacy on the phone after holding for an hour. Once I get a Pharmacist on the phone it is a very unpleasant experience as i receive all kinds of attitude. I dont see how this place stays in business.

Worst experience ever and I havent even gotten to tell the staff what I need from them! Called in to transfer a prescription as I just moved to the area and my old pharmacy doesnt have a location here. I waited on hold for 45 minutes before talking to anyone, then was told only the pharmacist could help me so I was then transferred in a loop 3 times as he didnt answer before I was hung up on all together. I then called back and asked to speak to a manager to complain about this department, when I got to a manager on duty and explained who I had spoken to she actually told me that the person who hung up on me was the Store Manager helping out in the pharmacy department. Definitely not what I expected to hear!!! Not sympathetic to the situation at all I was merely placed on hold again, only to go to the cosmetic department to then be transferred and placed on hold again!! Finally made it to the pharmacist who took my info. Hopefully picking up my prescription wont be as difficult as transferring it has been!!!!

I went into Walgreen to purchase a bottle of wine for my sisters birthday. My nephew and nieces were with me. Which of course getting things for there mom. So I am in my mid 30s with one toddler. The cashier told me she needed to see there id. However they are in school with no id. I was then told I couldnt purchase this item because I had minors with me. This was said to be Walgreen policy per the manager. I will never shop at another Walgreen for anything. Thank God CVS IS DOWN the street for there. Because now when I go in there with my toddler because she is a minor I cant buy cigarette or alcohol. That passed me off because I am to old for this crazyness. I do hope they continue to loss business for treating people as idiots.

The worst customer service ever. I receive text messages letting me know my prescription is ready only to drive down there, wait in line to find out it wont be ready for a few more hours. This has happened on numerous occasions. Why I continue to do buisness here I have no idea. I tried the route of calling and confirming before driving down there and no exaggeration what so ever when I say I have held for 30-45 minutes SEVERAL times before getting someone to pick up the phone. Well today my son was seen at an urgent care facility. While we were checking out the nurse said I just finished faxing the prescription over to Walgreens. We wait a few hours, drive down there, endure the double drive through line only for the lady to tell us that they just received the fax and it wont be ready for a couple of hours. A couple of hours go by..drive down there, endure the double drive through line again only to hear her tell me that the medication is out of stock. This place is a joke. My husband made a complaint to corporate a couple of months ago. Obviously nothing has changed. Update...transferred all our meds to CVS about a year a go and wow why did we wait so long. CVS 5 stars all the way

This walgreens has shorted me on controlled meds. 2 times that i really need being disabled and in pain. the first time i thought was just a simple mistake. now having had to go back because other walgreens not having meds. was shorted again on the same medicine the same amount. it so happened that the same pharmacist was on duty. putting things together, i think they meds. were stolen and that no mistake was made other than mine going back after being stolen from the first time.
