I had questions about the type, semi-gloss?, best color, etc. The employee was very helpful with suggesting what I needed and why. I appreciated the professional help I received.

I think SW paint is the best quality you can buy for residential applications. This store is clean, the staff helpful, and the inventory well-stocked. Pricing is competitive, but I think there are some options that are higher-priced than the other stuff you can get at the big box stores. FYI, Sherwin-Williams and Valspar are the same company, but I think they keep their separate color options.

We have been doing a complete makeover on our house so we were in here a lot. All the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Place is clean and they are great about social distancing.

This is the best match I have ever gotten on a paint sample my touch up wall looks amazing. The young man did an incredible job getting the color and the sheen I needed to match( wish I remembered his name )

I went to get the paint marshmallow 7001 in satin as well as in a semi gloss. I got it and it worked perfectly but I ran out of paint so my dad and I went back to the store to get a quart for the edges. we asked for the same exact paint in the same shades, they also save the paint colors and types on their computers for reference. The man gave us the exact same semi gloss, but failed to give us the correct satin one which was the main color for my entire room (the semi gloss was for my bedroom door). My dad painted all the edges in the color without seeing a color difference due to him painting at night after he came home from work. In the morning the shades looked completely different and were very obviously distinguishable. I was very disappointed to see my room now had different color shades and that I have to make yet another trip to the store for them to hopefully give me the correct satin shade.

The quality of SW paint is superb, I first used the paint 16 years ago. Its easy to DIY. I tried other cheaper paint later for other area, but had to repaint 5 years later. The salesperson in store are very helpful, they are knowledgeable, patient, know my need and sell the right products (not the most expensive ones). Highly recommend SW paint.

The person who helped me knew exactly what I was looking for after I told him the type of painting I was doing. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. The quality of the Sherwin-Williams paint I purchased has already impressed me too. The finish of this exterior paint feels more durable than what Ive used in the past. Im very impressed.

Easily one of the best decisions Ive made in recent memory. The wife and I needed to consult with a color expert to decide on what direction to go with the house. All I can say is we are so ridiculously thrilled with the end result and I dont think we would have ever come up with the color palette on our own.

Things started out OK on our first visit, but went downhill from there. Contrary to what other reviewers are saying, you should know before you go there is no longer a color specialist on staff, and no one really knows how to help with colors and selection. They can mix the paint you ask for, but there appears to be very little training of the employees at this location. BTW, we have been to stores where someone on staff is specifically trained to help choose colors in the same palette, and advise in other ways as well. I could have lived with that and just gone elsewhere, but Im here today writing this because of the condescending attitude given to my wife by Joseph yesterday. Joseph, you should try listening to what your customers are saying... My wife is a sweet and polite individual, and your attitude caused her to just clam up, take the sample and leave. She called me at work from her car quite upset by the interaction she had with you, telling me she would never ever step foot in that store again. Perhaps another line of business would suit you better young man.

I really appreciate the personal attention I receive at each visit. They provide a professional level of information. They work closely with me to achieve the perfect color. Every sales person has been terrific!

Ive been dealing with Andrew and Joseph for quite awhile at thousand Oaks Sherwin Williams and they are the best in customer service, I have been painting since 1974 and know what it takes to get a five star review, they told me they are putting in 60 hour weeks and have no time left for themselves, I truly think the company should be smart and get them more help, I believe in keeping good help, they are the best people and the company should try to keep them as long as possible, be nice to your employees and they will reward you as mine have, reduce their hours and give them a break! Nice you can drop off up to 5 gallons of used Labelled paint for disposal at one time.

More help in the store. 90% of the time I go there, I end up waiting too long and other customers in the store complain to each other. Products seems to be of good quality but pretty pricey.

If youre looking for quarts of paint, look elsewhere. This entire year theyve had many many periods where they barely had any, and the quart rates there are stupid high. Theyve also had supply issues on gallons too.
