Bought new tires and new brakes front and back. Brakes have squeaked since i got them. Now less than a year later - i need new brakes, rotor, the whole shot. Shouldnt have worn rhat fast

We got a flat on Easter. Our spare was low too. This was The Only place open in, like, all of Portland area. We just needed a patch repair and they could have gouged us. They did the opposite, we were in and out in under twenty minutes, it may have been less than 15. They only charged us $15. Service techs were super polite and friendly. I will absolutely be coming back. Thank you.

Was quoted a fair rate for a new clutch and related work.. had to bring it back again for an issue only brought to light after the clutch was replaced.. at no extra charge Richard covered it and I couldnt be happier!

I got my oil changed here and it was quick and easy. The mechanics are very nice and friendly too!The place is still very new so there arent any signs up yet, which made it hard to find. Its in the same lot as the Elegent Quartz, Granite, and Marble warehouse.I plan on getting new tires from JR soon.

I needed a last minute service done on a Sunday, and this was the only place open in the area. Their customer service and communication is great. The service was done under 45minutes (tire change and oil change). The prices are affordable as well. I will definitely be going back here and continue to support this local family owned business.

The guys here are awesome. I called on a Sunday, 30 minutes before close and 30 minutes away. The mechanics still helped me. These guys are very professional and friendly. They removed a good, full size tire from my spare (steel wheel) and replaced my blown out tire on my allow wheel. They were fast, efficient, detailed and had me back on the road within 35 minutes. I highly recommend them for any tire needs.

The guys at J.R. Oregon Tires are amazing! I unknowingly called 5 minutes before close and they told me they could still help me out. They took 4 nails out of my tire, patched it up super quick, and really helped me out of a bind! I could not be more grateful. They also let me know I need new rear brakes, and you bet I’ll be coming back to them to get it serviced! 10/10 would recommend!

I called JR tire and Richard answered the call. Richard was super awesome and professional. I had a slow leak in my tire and he helped repair it in < 10mins. He was super honest and real nice guy. Before going to him, I had gone to Beaverton Toyota as I get my car service done there. They told me to replace both rear tires and wait for 2 hrs - what a rip off. Anyway long story short, JR/Richard is my next go to guy for any car related issue.

The owner was very helpful and very knowledgeable. He came and helped me out at the drop of a hat. When Im in the area Ill definitely be going back to this shop for all of my future work. I would highly recommend J.R. to anybody who is looking for help.

Both Richard and his son were amazing, and went to great lengths to see us back on the road. It was not the easiest of jobs to begin with, but Richard especially payed the utmost care and attention to the job and went severely out of his way to accommodate it. He also followed up and made sure we made it home safe, which is commendable nowadays. I would trust him with any job; good man that will give you a fair price.

Sunday night 6:00 and I had a flat tire... These guys kept the door open for me and swapped my tire out had me on my way back to Washington in no time. !!

My car had a flat and I was stuck on the road I’m aired it up and got home. I called my local tire shop they were four days out to get new tires, Richard found the tires the next day. I took the wheels to JR Oregon Tires and auto care, he put them on. Returned home I put wheels back on the car on the same day and it actually fixed a wobble that I had in the front end, now I have four brand new tires that rides beautifully. I recommend anyone with a Porsche Cayenne with 22 inch rims or smaller to go to Richard‘s at J R Oregon Tires and auto care for new tires and repairs.

Ran over a broken chain from the snow storm that punctured my tire. Called them just before they closed and they were able to patch the hole in 10 minutes so I could go to work the next day thank you!

Richard here is a good honest guy. He went out of his way not to only get me the best well prices set of tires for my jeep. He even helped get my vehicle to the shop since it wasnt drivable. I thank God for this man. I was traveling across country with a trailer that had bald tires on it. I didnt discover the low tread tires until it was too late; late in the evening and too far into the trip. I called in the evening hoping we could stop by before they closed. So I have over an hour to get home. My car jack is messed up and my back tire is flattened. One of the dudes says he is willing to air all my tires and change the flat i have using my spare all with no charge. Quick and easy tire repair in about 15 minutes actually less that includes the time to drive there. Very friendly no wait at the time I was there. Was told that wont always be the case but they are soon moving to Tigard

The customer service here is HORRIBLE. I called to ask about pricing and The Who person answered the phone was like “Hello, who is this” I then asked if this was the Oregon Tires & Auto Care he replied “Yes” in a very rude tone. I then went on to ask about my question and the whole time the person’s tone of voice was NOT friendly. When he finally answered my question (not in a nice way either) I told him “Okay thanks” and he was “Yeah Bye”. There are plenty of other businesses in Beaverton that are small like this one and have way better customer service and actually deserve the business.

Came in late for a holiday needing a ride to get us home. Good shop, everyone was lovely and we got in and out so fast! you can tell theyre a family oriented spot and I was super satisfied with the perfect service!

I had a small leak in my tire and called ahead to see if they could fit me in. I drove over and got it looked at right away. They found a small screw in my tire and had it patched up less than 15 minutes after I pulled up. The whole ordeal only cost me $15. I would highly recommend them for quick, quality repairs.

J&R Auto was awesome! I called around to a bunch of shops looking for some good used tires in a large size (255/35/20) and they had a set of toyo proxies with good tread for a great price. It was getting late but they told me I could go ahead and come in anyway so I was able to come in after work. They mounted the tires, installed some tpms sensors I brought in, mounted the wheels on the car, and trained the sensors. The guys were super helpful from the beginning of the process to the end and their price was better than any other shop I called. Im definitely coming back here for my future tire needs and Im told they do stereos, lowering springs, and more as well. Highly recommend the shop to anyone in the area!

So after realizing my tire was flat, I filled it and noticed I had a nail in it. I called a couple places and this was the only place that would take me right away. Let me say, I am VERY grateful for that. I pull in, they look at my tire and the gentleman says first of all that my tire was bald. You know when you hear about how mechanics rip off women? That just accurately describes how my whole encounter tonight felt. Of course he pulls off the tire and tells me there was a nail, but somehow it couldnt be repaired and how I needed to replace the tire. He said he could do a used one for $45. With my wheel off, of course Im in a position to choose that. He looks for about 15 min and then comes back and tells me they dont have one tire for my wheel, of course, and how he could find a pair and change both rear wheels, for $90. Just keeps getting better for me, right? Took about 1.5 hours to get me seen and finished. The whole time hes helping me, hes also smoking cigarettes. Just gross. After he changed the tires, I went to hand him my credit card and says his machine is down and how I could go and drive off to pull out cash. I also noticed after he changed my tires, they left my rims covered in grease fingerprints and were filthy. Again, Im thankful for being helped and not having a flat tire on the side of the road, but the whole experience felt scummy and like I was taken advantage of.

Old school Garage. They got me in and out quickly. Took the time to repair the part instead of ordering a new one.

I had my front brake pads installed and the guys didn’t know which direction to turn the wrench to loosen the bolts. Another customer was watching them and pointed that out. They also introduced air in the lines, which resulted in spongey braking. And they forgot to reinstall a critical washer on one of the calipers which showed signs of brake fluid leakage right after their work. Then, I was told that the reason for my spongey brakes was due to the master cylinder...which might’ve been reasonably suggested if they didn’t allow air in the brake lines. I went to another mechanic and they simply bled the brake lines. Problem solved. JR would’ve had me spend $400 on a new master cylinder that I didn’t need. They know tires, not brakes.

These guys are seriously fast, they work super hard, and really friendly and professional. I dont go anywhere else for tires anymore.

I work until 5:30 or 6:00 most nights, and most of the big-box tire and auto shops close right around then. J.R. Tires seemed to be the only shop open, so I gave them a call. Richard made sure his son knew what was going on and was ready for me when I showed up. Within the hour, he had set me up with two replacement tires, and pointed out some potential problem areas in my car that they could help me with down the road. All this, and the price was right!

I highly recommend J.R Tires & Auto. I purchased some new tires from Costco and then Costco would not install them because I went up one tire size which ruined my day and was ridiculous. So I looked up tire places that were open on Sunday and found J.R Tires & Auto. I live in Vancouver but still frequent Beaverton and I had purchased the tires at the Hillsboro Costco, not far away. I called them and they said bring my truck on in and they would mount and balance my new tires for $100.00 which is fair and about the going price. I am used to all the big fancy stores like Les Schwab, Discount Tire ETC. But J.R was faster and did a better job. A lot of times the other places don’t get the balancing very good and I need to go back in to have it done again and wait hours. J.R got the balance perfect! Smooth as can be driving back to Vancouver even up to 70mph. I saw one ladies review online complaining about them leaving fingerprints and grease on her wheels. This is normal with the tire bead sealer/goop that is used when mounting tires. This is the same at Les Schwab and all the other tire places. I’m sorry but I cannot believe anyone would expect a tire shop to detail out your wheels after a tire install, I have never seen that happen. I just go wash the tires and wheels because there will always be some of the bead sealer that needs to be cleaned up. I’m going to remember this place for future auto tire and auto needs. Remember good service, quick service, fair prices can happen at a place that aren’t some fancy store with big showrooms. That was the fastest complete removal of 4 old tires, install 4 new tires with balancing I have ever seen period.
