We had our Honda Odyssey serviced at this location today. The person who provided this service was Bert Olmos, the Assistant Manager. His service was excellent, professional and quick, honest and friendly. We’ve been shown and explained every detail of the work needed to be done. He went an extra mile for the customer satisfaction and we very much appreciated that. We trust this location!

Les Schwab is great for tries. Repairs... Well Ive had mixed experiences. Tires though, 100% the best place in the Northwest.This particular Les Schwab has a lot of things going for it with its location. Most of the time flat fixes and new tires arent quick in and out events. This location has a great deal of easily accessible dining and shopping around it. Fred Meyer, Tigard Music, Perfect Look Salon, Union Gospel Mission Thrift Store, Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant; theres a lot. You can easily plan to drop off your vehicle, go shopping, and come back without having to just sit and wait. Staff are friendly and helpful as well.The only downside was the coffee bar. There is a big ant problem at the coffee bar. Really guys, put out an ant trap. And your coffee is the most watered down stuff ever, but hey, its free.

Our 02 Ram Pickup recently had some front end work done in a Salem Les Schwab & after limited driving we needed to make a run into Tigard. Close to our destination we experienced something I never want to experience again & we detoured to meet Bert & his crew. Not only did Bert make time to review the work done he removed and retightened parts & spent time talking with us about the death wobble & what we might consider having done to remedy it. Top notch service is hard to come by but Bert hit it out of the park. We left confident our ride home would be safe & it was. Thanks Bert!

Sold me rims and tires followed up by an alignment, now fast forward eight thousand miles, all four tires popped within a month of each other from inside shoulder wear, went back there said that they could not honor warranty because it was an alignment issue, well who aligned my tires in the first place? Les Schwab. Lol

Everyone was so kind and flexible while helping me deal with my tire exploding. Repairs were done so quickly. I felt that both the safety of my car and the affordability of the fix were taken into account. All in all, they made a really terrible situation very manageable

I am a person with some knowledge. Les Schwab on the other hand, this staff went above and beyond the call of duty. I came to there community to purchase tires from a local market website. I had to brake done the tires from the rims and place my rims on the tires. Will unfortunately the load range was not correct. I am mainly off road. These are the tires I purchased. I am one happy camper. Thank you Les Schwab, your staff is amazing.

3 Hours to get a tire swap at 10am on a Tuesday is absurd. Charging $171 is expensive. Having walk ins bumped up in front of you is rude. Go somewhere else, even a different Les Schwab would be a better choice.

Had Les Schwab replace my front rotors and pads (2014 Toyota Tacoma) on a Saturday. Picked up the truck after hours, pulled up to 99W and my brake pedal went right to floor before my truck rolled into 99W without stopping (fortunately it was late so traffic was light and no one was hurt). Got back to their parking lot and left it there until Monday, when they told me a minor problem with the replacement part didnt allow my brakes to pressurize, and theyd fixed it. After that, i kept hearing a weird clicking noise when applying my brakes. A few months later, took my truck to the dealership for service, they informed me that my brakes were reassembled incorrectly. They couldnt believe what they were seeing. Called Les Schwab to ask them to pay for the repairs. NOPE. Ive been a loyal Les Schwab customer since 1986 when i got my first car. Never purchased tires anywhere else. They used to do such good work. Not anymore. I think they probably have more competent people working at Firestone. One less customer, Les would be rolling in his grave if he knew whats happened to the company he built.

Excellent service. Even though I bought my tires before I moved to Oregon, Schwabs has checked and topped off pressure in my tires without charge and today patched a tire gratis saying that they looked forward to getting my business when I need new tires (and they _will_ get it). I was also _very_ impressed that a torque wrench was used to tighten the wheel bolts rather than a pneumatic impact wrench. Ive had tire monkeys zap lug nuts down to a hernia-inducing 250 ft-lb before so this was a welcome sight.

I had them do breaks!! and they did not Lube anything I had 2 bolt seize up on me. And they charge me $240. I bought tires an wheels. I kind of regret it now. If I could I take back one star Im very upset with them.

Less Schwab used to be the place to go,they would run out to meet you, great prices great products, great service etc... for some reason I havent experienced that from them in several years..the tires are sub par now.noone comes out to greet you, the prices are not very good..the service is nothing special anymore..I got a quote to install some tires..then after I dropped off my truck I got a call saying they made mistake it would cost more..then I got calls from several workers,not the manager as it used to be.but from the installers, I only want to talk to one person, not the whole damn staff..so in short...they have really gone down hill from what they were 10 to 20 years ago...very disappointing..

I have been using les schwab for about 5 years now but my faith was reinforced when after grocery shopping at Fred Meyer I come out to my car and the tire was flat. I didnt notice until pulling out of my parking spot. I look up and across the parking lot I see Les schwab. They were closed but the workers were still in the garage. RJ came out and saw that we had a flat tire. It looked like he was done for the night. He had a very positive attitude and fixed our tire in 15 minutes we were out of there. I am so thankful that we have les schwab tires on the car and I didnt have to take all the groceries out of the trunk to get the spare. RJ was a life saver! I am a lifer now and will always go to les schwab for my tires.

These guys came out to my home and jump started my car twice over the course of a week or two. The first visit was free. I thought, wow, great service. Was unable to get my car fixed in time before I called them out again for a second jump. I told them I’d like to pay for the service this time, even though I’m just right across the street. They said sure, no problem. Within a few hours, I got that second jumpstart - and what do you know, I begin reaching for my wallet and the rep says “Don’t worry about it!” and headed back.After I got my second jump, I got my car repaired at Ford that same day.These guys are awesome! Fantastic service. Still wish I could have paid for something. It’s not often you want to give your money to a company that would rather just get you taken care of.

Worst les schwab location ever - I recently purchased a set of tires from them and it happened to go flat the next day. when I drove it back to them they told me i was going to have to pay full price because “I drove on the flat tire” even though they have a some type of “warranty”. I got there at 9, they told me it was going to be an hour and a half wait... currently passing almost 4 hours now.Les schwab has great service at other locations. Go to another location!!!

Super annoyed at this location. I called yesterday to get an appointment to bring my truck in for an alignment, and the employee took all of my information, said I made an appointment, but decided to not make it. Because of that, someone was already on the rack when I got to the store, and I have to wait to get my vehicle done. I am an extremely busy woman, and plan every day to a t, and this is very inconvenient for my day.

I went into Les Schwab for the first time tonight and everything I have heard about their superb customer service was an understatement!! Noah was amazing, so helpful and even without an appointment I was in and out in less then an hour! I luckily only needed a patch on my tire but it was done quickly and at no charge ! I would definitely come back here and highly recommended Les Schwab. Customer service like this, unfortunately is incredibly rare. Thank you !!! I will be back

This location is incredible! The store manager Robert is an absolute class act and the true definition of customer service! I had an issue with my vehicle after visiting this location a couple of weeks ago. Robert was very understanding and truly helped me find a solution to our problem. He even went out of his way to speak to a dealer customer service center on our behalf. I would recommend anyone to this location, your customer service is top notch!

I went to a different Les Schwab two times before because I had a mysterious leak in one of my tires. Each time at the previous Schwab’s, I waited 2+ hours and they would tell me the tire is fine, no leaks, top off my air pressure and send me on my way. Finally got sick of stopping by the gas station every 2 days to air up ONE tire, I decided to come to this location. Robert promptly helped me and assured me he would find the leak. AND HE DID.Thank you ROBERT for not only fixing my tire, at no cost, but also making me feel like a sane person again.

Ran over a curb, and caused a gash in my tire. They could have easily told me the damage was too intense and Id need to get 4 new tires. Instead they reassured me the damage was cosmetic and told me what Id need to see for it to be a danger. Always grateful for honest and helpful service :). 10/10 trust and will come back

We had a tire blow out on the freeway and they came to our rescue within 60 minutes with a mobile technician. His name was Steven, and he went above and beyond on a very hot day. From the time he arrived to the time we left was under 90 minutes. That involved him coming to take our wheel off, go to the warehouse to pickup the right sized new tire, drive back in rush hour traffic and mount the tire to the wheel before coming back to us and mounting it. He did it all with a smile and wouldnt even accept a tip!This is the type of service Schwab use to be known for before Les passed away. Im happy to see things are turning around & Im grareful they were available to sort out this mess.Thanks Steven!

Despite my best efforts to give Les Schwab my business this location has ensured that my money goes elsewhere. Just trying to get tires rotated is like pulling teeth. You cant schedule an appointment and have to wait hours in person while they take care of all the appointments. Ive literally showed up in person twice to get a rotation, not a single other customer in the waiting room, plenty of open bays, and told it would be 1-2 hour wait. Will probably never bother again. The store down the road keeps taking good care.

In less than 15 minutes, I was leaving with the bolt removed and the tire patched!Thank you Jared. Pretty good, seems really expensive, but Im not on top of the average cost for tires, labor, all thats involved! Labor charges are doubled, so a $50 item costs $100! Really adds up.An expensive necessity,Its not a fun buy!! They are really fast and friendly, so thats good!

I called and asked about a tire patch and was told it would be 30 to 45 minutes. So I brought my car right in. When I checked in I wasnt quoted a different time beyond that or I would have left and came back another time. After an hour goes by amd my car is still not pulled in I asked the lady at the from desk how much longer and she said atleast another hour and I explained to her they told me 30 to 45 mins when I had called 5 minutes prior to bringing it in. And she had an oh well attitude. So I went up to get my keys back and take it to discount tire and magically they were just pulling my car in. Which at that point I just asked for my keys back and took it to discount tire. Having my time wasted on my only day off.

Excellent service! My husbands car got a flat while I was out of town and he had classes he could not miss during all business hours for the rest of the week. He was able to get a ride for one day, but it would have been a major issue after that. The staff at this Les Schwab was able to get a new tire on the car where it was stranded (going way above and beyond to do so), saved my husband a lot of trouble, and us a lot of money. Thank you to all the staff who helped us out!

I like Les Schwab as a company. Good tires. You can get them serviced, its pretty cool. However, this location has been very disappointing. My service took longer than estimated. They also messed up the install of my tires and I had to bring back twice to get fixed, because they said it was fine the first time. Im not a tire expert but I know the sound of leaking air, bro. A 2-3 hours appointment turned into a 7-hour ordeal with the delays and the driving back and forth.My girlfriend just went in today with a flat and also had a very underwhelming experience.This location could benefit from some quality control and a focus on enhancing customer experience. My experience at other les schwabs has been much better.

Been a long time Les Schwab customer. After visiting this location I will never return. I went in for a TPMS check. Quoted me 45 minutes. Cool, no problem. 45 minutes turned Into 2.5 hours! The tech working on my vehicle looked like he did not want to be there. I was looking through the viewing window and it looked like he did not know what he was doing. (my opinion) The tech working on my car never came out and communicated with me. There was another tech who was keeping me in the loop. I was looking through the viewing window and tech finally dropped my car. Was getting ready to pull it out of the shop. I do not know how but my battery was dead and my car wouldnt start. I saw them running around for about 30 minutes trying to charge the battery. I didnt say anything because I wanted to see how long it would of taken them to come out and communicate with me. A tech finally comes out and lets me know about my dead battery. (After 30 minutes, ridiculous!) I asked how my battery died and they did not know how. When I went in my car was running perfectly fine. Maybe they left the key on or something. Not sure. The tech working on my car still never came out. They said they can charge it but it would be another 30-45 minutes. Time I did not have anymore. Only other option was sell me a new battery for 200 plus. I dont mind but why should I have to buy the battery? Never again will I go here!!!!

I’m a life-long Les Schwab customer. They earn my loyalty with their exceptional customer service. I purchased tires their 2 years ago, but sold the car a few months back and downgraded to a cheaper, older used car. Despite not having the original tires I purchased from them, the cheerfully honored their policy of free tire rotation on top of cleaning out my brake dust, fixing a flat and doing a safety inscription. All for no cost.When you purchase services from Les Schwab you will be taken care of for the rest of time. That’s a guarantee.

I stopped by the store 15 minutes before closing with a bit of a car emergency - blue smoke rolling off the engine! They graciously took a look and discovered the oil cap missing (just had it topped off at Jiffy Lube earlier) and oil was EVERYWHERE! I believe it was the manager (didnt get his name unfortunately) who went the extra mile and did a wonderful job cleaning the engine and hood and I was back on the road! Dropped my vehicle off today and was quoted 2-3 hours to have tires balanced. I went back almost SIX HOURS later and they hadnt even started, and the employee said that it would be another half hour if I still wanted them to do it. Six hours?? Ridiculous. No apology or anything. The guy that gave my keys back just said Huh, she must have misquoted you. They could have called and said they were running behind or something so I could have the opportunity to take it somewhere else. Avoid this location, there are many ways they could have handled this situation better.

Had my tires rotated and balanced a week ago, spent week driving in town so didnt know if the balance was ok. Weekend had to travel, 60mph tires started to shake, up to 70 mph at the speed limit, all 4 tires shaking so bad all my mirrors were just a blur, worst 300 miles i had to travel, returned to store when they opened this morning and they were more than happy to fix providing i make an appointment, closest appointment time i can arrange that would fit my schedule is over 2 weeks away. Being Im in town on business and dont live here, i dont have that luxury of waiting around. Way to go les schwab, you just took me for a 50 dollar tire balance, plus what i am going to lose paying someone else to rebalance and fix what you couldnt accomplish.

I called ahead to be sure they could service me and the said come on down. Got there only to find they didnt have the parts for warranty service I was seeking and told them on the phone about. Wasted my time and when I told them that the guy got flipping with me. He then said the parts would be in the next day and he would call me. It is now six days later and he still has not called. I complained on the corporation website and nobody has contacted me. I was seeking warranty service on shocks I had purchaced. I ended up going to another location, which had its own disappointments for the service I received. I dont think I will EVER go to a Les Schwab for anything again. They arent like they used to be years ago. Ive been going there for 35 years and used to trust them.

Les Schwab lost a lifelong customer, for life. I called them for a dead battery charge. I also said, please bring a battery with you. They came out, tried charging my car, but it was too far gone. Didnt bring a spare battery with them. So Im here stranded with a Les Schwab dead battery (7 year warranty with just a few months remaining on it) and I ask if theyll bring me out a new one. NO. Are you kidding me? Im totally stranded in the middle of the damn street, which the guy pushed my car out into to charge it. And with no car, how am I to fix the situation? Bye-bye Les Schwab!!!

The only place I go for tires/brakes/allignment. Robert is a great manager and his technicians do good work, quickly. I have been going here for years, spent tens of thousands of dollars here over 40+ vehicles and literally havent had one time be a negative experience. Most people only write reviews to complain, that they had to wait too long etc but for every 1 complaint there have been 500 customers that had a great experience and will return in the future.

I called to ask how long of a wait, explaining that time was critical for me on this particular day. Robert told me it would be about 1 hour. He put in a work order to hold my place in line. I arrived after a little more than an hour to find out that I was still 7th in line, and had 2 hours of waiting minimum.Because Robert did not tell me the truth - that the wait would be more than an hour - I lost an hour of time where I could have called other locations/mechanics and I may have been able to keep my appointments in the rest of the day.Bottom line, they did not listen to what I said was important to me - scheduling - and they may not listen to whatever it is you think is important either.

Worst customer service in consideration to time. I keep hearing them tell people is a 45 minute wait, it took over an hour to look at my car. I intended to have my tires simply rotated, only to be told I need new tires and it would be best to leave them the way they are. its been an hour and 15 minutes by this point. and I just got a brand new tire 3 months ago, so I know they dont ALL need to be replaced, maybe 2 top be honest. I posted this review to Yelp as well- AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS, if you give a crap about your car. These people are completely incompetent and seem to be incapable of completing repairs that they have no problem charging you for. I have been here 3 times for the same problem and surprise, surprise! The fix isnt fixed.Im new to town but heard Les Schwab has a good reputation so I brought my Toyota Corolla (one of the most common cars on the road) for a rear brake job. The first time I stopped in the man that helped me stated that the rear adjusters on my drum brakes needed to be adjusted and completed this for free as part of the inspection. After he did the adjustment, my brakes stopped squeaking and my emergency brake was functional again... for about a week. I returned again with my boyfriend who asked for the rear drums to be inspected and the adjusters replaced. After leaving my car for several hours because they dont take appointments, I received my car back and paid for the rear adjuster replacement. My brakes were no longer squeaky and my E brake worked again... for about 2 weeks this time. As well, I developed a suspicious pulse in my brake pedal which my boyfriend attributed to a problem with the front brakes, which were also apparently inspected and cleaned as part of my service.Two weeks later I brought the car back AGAIN because neither my rear brakes nor my emergency brake were operational and I needed to have the pulsing in the brake pedal addressed. THIS time, staff recommended having my front rotors turned and completed a readjustment of the rear brakes. When I received the car back, again after several hours, I got into my car to drive off but noticed a horrific grinding and thumping noise coming from the rear of the car. I went back in to address this and the woman behind the counter called the service person who completed this round of repairs. After she spoke to him she tried to tell me that the noise was normal and would go away after a few days. The unholy sounds coming from this car were NOT normal and back into the bay it went for more adjusting. We drove it home a short time later and all seemed relatively in order.Lo and behold, the pulse in the front brakes resumed after about a day, the squeaking and thumping in my rear brakes resumed after about a week and my emergency brake is again, barely functional. While Les Schwab does offer a warranty on their brake work, I have had MORE than enough of this place. Ive clearly been charged for work that was not completed and whatever work was completed on my car was not completed correctly. Im not sure what the problem is with this place or why they have such difficulty completing a common repair on a very common vehicle. I wont ever go to this or any other Les Schwab again.

I took my car to have the tires rotated and balanced. I made sure that I numbered the tires before i took it in to check if they really rotate the tires. I wanted to be sure since I had bad experience with toyota royal moore. They made me wait for an hour. When I got my car back, my suspension was confirmed. They DID NOT rotate the tires. I dont understand why they do this. Why lie you your customers and waste their time. Oh, they even handed me a quote of $1000 telling me that the shocks have to be placed. What a load of BS. How do i know if they did not pull this out of their ***. Les Schwab is a bogus company. This is my 2nd bad experience with les schwab and my first one was with the hillsboro shop.The only reason I brought my tires from them was because I thought they would take care of me. They will only take your money and look for more ways to get money from you. What a scam.Dont expect this company to stick to their contract.If you dont believe me, try it your self. Number the tires before you take it in. Check for your self.I am going to always number my tires from more on. To check the other tire companies try to pull a fast on on me.

There sure looks to be a lot of people who hate Les Schwab on this review website. Sounds a lot like one person whining because they didnt get their way and posting several reviews.For example, having to pay for tire rotation... Been a customer for over 30 years, and never once did they ask for or charge me any money for tire rotation. In fact, to my knowledge, they dont even have a price skew for that service.I recently had some lightbulbs replaced on my Wifes Subaru Outback. To replace the lights you need to put the car on a rack, remove both tires, remove several pins that hold the underwall on, reach up under the fender well and replace the bulbs. They replaced both front headlight bulbs.I was quoted several hundred dollars to do this same procedure by several repair shops including Subarus. This Les Schwab did it for nothing, and the lights work perfectly!I have purchased several sets of tires for my rigs and not once did I ever feel or find out that they were giving me wrong information or providing me with the wrong product for the job.Ever need a flat repaired? Theyll do it for free, even if you didnt buy that tire there. Need air? They will rush out and fill your tires to recommended levels... all free!Basically, the reason I am a long time customer (and all my family) is, that they provide a decent price for an excellent product, and their customer service is beyond approach!!

For the first time I am unhappy with my service.... I came in yesterday to get my snow tires switched over and waited 2 1/2 hours. I had a bad vibration at around 55 mph. So I brought it back this morning and I have been waiting 3 1/2 hours and my car hasnt been seen yet.... It seems if a person already had work done and has an issue the next day they SHOULD NOT have to wait again... Especially over 3 1/2 hours....

After having a epic long (4 hour) wait at the Les Shwab in Hillsboro, who ended up ordering the wrong part for my car and store manager Mike proceeded to blame me for his own mistakes and begged me not to write a bad review. I brought my car to the Tigard Les Shwab for an alignment, employee BERT OLSMO after hearing my experience was absolutely great with handling the situation. He went out of his way to help me, and even found out about another issue I wasn’t even aware of. Most definitely employee of the year, I’ve never had such a great experience with such little wait time, definitely coming back for my winter tires.Thank you Bert & staff

Had a slow leak in my right front tire that needed repair. These guys not only fixed it, but checked my brakes and other tires within an hour. I didnt need tires or brake replacement today, but I would recommend these guys. Honest and fair!

For tires & service related to tires, great service with decent prices & dont seem to pull any shenanigans. (though now Im less sure)For brakes, not so much.I was in a hurry to get my brakes done, and had good experience with them in the past for tires. Figured I could rely on them to do me right.Only after the fact did I realize they consider replacing calipers to be standard practice (it is not). The guy who did the inspection didnt mention calipers at all, simply told me my pads were worn (which I knew). There was nothing wrong with my calipers at all, and I ended up paying nearly 4x what the job should/would have cost at another garage.Expensive lesson learned.

This is one of the worst les Schwabs Ive been to. I got my tires rotate here. They didnt vacuum out the mess they made in my car or clean my white walls which I could have gotten for half the price somewhere else. I paid the extra dough cause they are supposed to take care of my car. This place sucks.

These guys come running as you pull up. They always look to get you what you need and dont try to over sell anything. The free beef was good. Even with my new vehicles they are willing to rotate and balance my tires. When I was a kid the so in camas sold hotdogs for 50 cents and small sis fire a quarter during the summer. Nothing but good experiences with les Schwab
