Awesome dealership. Abraham Lopez was a great guy to deal with.We purchased a used 2016 Toyota 4runner. Everyone at Briggs went out of their way to help us with our purchase, it was a great experience. We are very satisfied and happy. We highly recommend Briggs for their friendly knowledgeable all around great service. Thank you everyone at Briggs.
John helped get me in another vehicle after a wreck totalled mine. His whole team was fantastic to work with!
Nice friendly and helpful staff with a lot of quality cars to choose from stop on in and have a look .
In my 5th year of owning a Kia. The quality of manufature and service is top notch.
The guys here took care of me and helped me get into my car painlessly.
Poor service all the way around. Tried to take advantage of us and said he would get back with us never did. Will not be going back ever
Buyer Beware!Salesman seemed nice but he is after all a salesman and they do not have Your best interest at heart. I ended up buying a car that was not what I wanted. They gang up and wear you down. Then after I had been there for hours I signed papers that I did not look at closely and ended up paying a bunch of fees. And they started asking for Trust documents when it was time for me to sign over the title on my trade-in. Ive had this Trust for decades and never had to produce it to Sell my own car. They said the Title Clerk required it. The title clerk is just someone in their office who types titles- not some state employee. My husband got very upset that they were asking for stuff that had social security numbers and asset information. As for my son, he has no car. No matter how many times we told them what he could afford they would have him driving vehicles way out of his price range. Then they needed more money down- hes a high school kid with $1000 buying his first car. He has no more money. So hes still driving our old van.Be prepared to walk away. This was a horrible experience.
This place is GREAT!! Very helpful!!
Anthony was an amazing sales man. He listened to exactly what I wanted and got me just that. There was no hassle or pushing to another vehicle. They made it happen and made it happen with a good deal great group of guys to work with.
Vicki the service manager was very personable, and professional. They got my work done timely, and did the recall without blowing a hole in my pocket! Definitely would return!
Great place, great people!
Sales staff were not pushy, but were helpful and friendly. They followed the covid safety protocals and made the experience a safe and positive one. They go the extra mile to help fit your needs. Good inventory and well cared for vehicles. Nice facility and a well trained staff. Ada accessable
I have been here for various car repairs and maintenance. My dad used to work at a dealership and Ive always kind of compared strangers at a car shop to the people I knew at my dads shop... Briggs Dodge master mechanics have always treated me as if Ive been a customer for years and they know me. Its nice to feel like I have a hometown mechanic even though its a huge dealship. They are great at communicating what needs to be done, how long it may take, and pricing breakdowns.Never been disappointed and always thankful for their knowledge and ability.
Great service and wonderful people.
Appointment made for car repair at good price and done fast.
Always a good experience. Friendly service and they do things right the first time.
Took my 2015 Subaru wrx in for an oil change. Came back later to pick up the car and someone had taken it on a test drive and maxed out the boost pressure ripping the car all over town because when I dropped it off the boost gauge had a max recording of 4psi and when I picked up the car it said 25.7psi. All they did was apologize but that doesn’t do much now does it? Another bad experience my grandmother recently took her car in and they told her it needed all kinds of work. Doubting their honesty I took the car to a local shop in town and they said it didn’t need any of the repairs that Briggs was saying she needed. Avoid these people like the plague. This is a stealership. They don’t care about you or your car they only want to extort old ladies who don’t know any better. Would give this place 0 stars if it would let me. BUYERS BEWARE.
It was nice they are friendly and try to help you out
I have a KIA CADENZA and I it serviced there. They do the outmost best service on my car, and do a fantastic job of sanitizing your car before they release back to you.
Very friendly staff here. Alwa6willingbto help in any way they can. Would be happy if I bought my next car from Briggs Dodge in Topeka, KS.Just an Awesome experience all the way .
Excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable service staff. Nice waiting area, complementary coffee and bottled water.
Very good business
They got us in and out for our service with no issues.
Still no resolution to the new car issue - been 2 weeks so waiting - supposedly problem with not enough employees, and covid related paperwork not being done.
Brigs are awesome
I visited to apply for a job- dont know if it wasnt I was buying a car they didnt throw me a parade. Barely civilly greeted me
Bought a 2020 Ram Laramie Longhorn from them on Tuesday. The delivery process went very smooth. Nick and Harold made sure I knew the vehicle inside and out before I drove it off the lot.
Great place to buy a car
Nice people. Very helpful.
They are usually very accommodating, although having work done here is quite a bit slower-paced than others.
Buyer Beware: Full of miscommunications and horrible staff encounters. Found a vehicle on AutoTrader on Thursday afternoon in Topeka- 2009 Dodge caravan, listed on AutoTrader for $9989. Called and spoke to Brittany who quoted me a cash price of $7900, and arranged for the van to be transferred to the Manhattan Briggs so that we could test drive it, and look it over. We were suppose to have it there around 11:30 Friday, and she said that they would call in the morning to let us know when they were en route. Up until this point it was all good. We never got a call from anyone, we tried to call the number we had been given, but no one would answer. We went to Briggs Manhattan just after noon to see if they had gotten there, only to be greeted by an incredibly pushy, and rude, salesman. He claimed not to know of any transfer and treated my family quite rudely. We had to reach out to Topeka ourselves, who then were able to confirm that the transfer had occurred, but they had already left, but we had never gotten a call. They were able to contact him and get him to circle back, as he had stopped for lunch and was not too far out of town yet. Upon meeting the sales rep from Topeka-Sam- we were relieved. Sam was very kind, very personable, and very knowledgeable. We test drove the van, and left to mull it over while we grabbed lunch and put my toddler down for a nap. We called a bit later to let Sam know we were en route back. We gave the car another look, a bit more thoroughly. At this point we had every intention of writing them a check and driving it home. Sam called his boss-Will- to let him know that it would be a cash buy, not financed, and got the paperwork around. We went in to sign the paperwork, and close the deal only to be floored when the price on the page was not the advertised price, nor the quoted price, but instead $10900. After discounts $9000 and change. But wildly different than both the advertised price and the quoted price. Sam was just as shocked as we were. He was polite and asked to be excused to call his sales manager. He stepped outside to make the call. We were still setting at the desk when the Manhattan Briggs employees started what I would call the worst part of this experience. They were incredibly rude and demeaning saying things like looks like they sent us the boy scout, who let the 16 year old sell cars, he cant know anything being that green, and more. My family and I were disgusted and appalled at how employees of the same company, albeit different locations could treat each other so poorly. How could we expect them to not talk just as poorly of their customers behind closed doors. We left before we could hear more, and went out the door to find Sam. He was just finishing up on the phone, and let us know that his Sales manager-Will- said that $8500 was the bottom dollar, and that they would not honor the quoted price from Brittany. Sadly we did not leave with the van. We were upset to have spent all day trying to get things around and making our decision, while constantly being treated poorly by the Manhattan staff. Our experience with Sam was wonderful, he was a great person to work with, unfortunately, it seems like communication, and kindness are hard to find within Briggs as a company. We will sadly be continuing our search for a family vehicle.
Bought a vehicle from here two years ago. Finance guy was a sleezeball. Ended up getting screwed with extra charges. If your going to buy a vehicle from them do your own financing.
So, the people here were nice. However, the prices seem very high to me. I evaluated the vehicle myself and had stated on the night drop sheet that I thought it was the alternator. The diagnosis was that it was the alternator and the diagnosis was 130. To completely fix the alternator was 960 dollars. I paid the 130 put a hot battery in it and drove it to my dads house. The part cost 127 at orielys and I paid a guy 100 to put it in. I could put one in but dont have the time. Honestly, look up how to put in an alternator and youll see. There was a local shop, that I forget the name of now that would have done the work for about 1/2 the price. The dealership did say that their alternator typically last longer and that the aftermarket alternators only lasted a year or so, but I dont know if that was a scare tactic or not. Ill have to wait and see.
I have a 2018 Dodge Charger I bought from Briggs Auto in TOPEKA, KS brand new. I have had trouble with the car making a creaking sound when turning the wheel. I have took it to Dodge 5 times for the issue and they have replaced 5 different parts and still makes the noise. They say they have no idea what is causing it. They have had someone from corporate even come look at it and they said the same thing they don’t know what it is. I talked to the general manager on the phone and he said “Don’t give up on us will get it figured out” then I left a bad review on Facebook after the 5th time I took it in. And I talked to him on the phone again then he was mad and rude to me he said “ You shouldn’t have done that that’s not how to handle things we are done with you now”
Did not have a good truck buying experience here. Sales person was very nice. Finance person almost bullies you into taking an extended warranty. Makes you worry that the trucks are not built very well. No follow up help after you buy either even when you need help, have to basically beg for help. Very disappointing.
Cole Brosa is a great associate very good to deal with
Rusty Mills did an amazing job taking care of me at Briggs. He not only got me into the perfect car with the payments I needed but he also got my Chrysler 300 as a trade even though it didnt run. I would definitely recommend all my friends to go see Rusty. He will take care of you!
Service was a little slow today, but definitely friendly and a nice waiting area.
Randel & Guys are awesome!! Definitely my go to dealership from here on
Watch their advertising—read the fine print. Salesmen are pushy and sneaky. Went somewhere else.
The men in the repair shop are about as unfriendly as a post. People that work with customers must be able to put a smile on when customers come in. Not a frown.
Pricey but know their business. Always calls if they find a problem before they fix and they give you the price before doing the work. I like that.
Very good people here to work with my vehicle is only 3 months old so for Ford F-150 and the check engine light came on and they got on it right away and diagnose it and theyre going to fix it for free I think good place I bought two vehicles from them
Great bunch of guys. Thy really work to get you a car and service department so far is being good to work with
Great team, put me in a nice, very nice, car with little hassle on my part, then, After the paperwork was completed called me back and redid the financial paperwork at a much lower interest rate!! Ended up making my payment much lower in an action that wasnt required, great business..If your looking for a new car or new to you car, contact David Giles at Briggs Kia. Oh yeah the Kias are not the small car I thought, I am 63 and have great leg and head room.
Wonderful Automobiles & Wonderful Service!
We have always been treated great by the crew at Briggs!! All of our vehicles have come from them for last 20 years!!
John in the parts department is great! Will help you get the weirdest bolts.
I am incredibly impressed with the knowledge, honesty, and patience that Chris Viegra had while working with my family after we suffered a total loss on our truck. He showed us several trucks and was very attentive to what we wanted. I often feel pressured when working with salespeople at car lots but Chris never made me feel pressured or overwhelmed in an already overwhelming situation..... thats a rare quality to find! We honestly did not end up buying anything from Briggs as we chose a different brand but would highly recommend Chris and the Briggs Autogroup as a place to look! Great people!
Great service, even got a car wash
I came into buy a vehicle the said there was a promotion with 99$ payments monthly i got there apparently no such promotion exists i came to look at a 3000$ car that didnt exist an all they could help me with was a 9000$ car with a 1500$ down payment but the atmosphere of the place was nice they gave me a water an made sure i was out of there in a fashionable time an overall they were very informational i just wouldnt go here if you dont have alot to spend.
Very friendly and h ok best people they will work to get you what you want just be patient
I went to Briggs to price a truck I just so happens I grew up and went to school with the owner and he is going to give me a good deal when I am ready to buy a new
Thought Id give them one last chance. Needed an oil change and tire rotation, and wanted the free multi point safety inspection on my Subaru. They failed...again. There were a couple of things that I knew about that they should have caught, but when it came time to pay the bill, they did not offer the inspection report, made no mention of any issues, charged me $85 for an oil change and tire rotation and sent me on my way.I advise you to NEVER do business with Briggs Subaru in Topeka. Now the Lawrence store, while also a Briggs store, I have had nothing but positive experiences there. If you needed anything for Subaru, do yourself a favor and go to the Lawrence dealership! I still dont understand how two dealerships under the same ownership can be so radically different.
Paul Simmons was awesome to work with. Got me right in.
They did a good job and took good care if me.
It was the best experience in buying a car at Briggs Kia.
Bought car. Very nice.
The sales team at Briggs Kia are awesome. They went the extra mile to get me the vechile I wanted at a price i could afford! By far the best car buying experience I have ever had! I dont normally recommend or refer people to a car dealer, but I would definitely refer Briggs Kia]!Thank you all very much.
Great dealer, got our Subaru there
Again a less than great experience. Spoke to a person on the 800 Kia line who told me that my AC is covered under my warranty. I get to Kia service department and the same gal that was rude last time was there. She informs me that I need to pay $85+ up front before her guy will work on it. She says in case its not cover because My guy has to get paid in case you tampered with it, animal chew or something Ummm... In case I tamped with it? Are you kidding me lady? You will have my car and my keys that I paid you $44000 for. Do you think Im not going to pay unless you get $85 in advance??? You know... Just in case. Was never mentioned at any point until I got there. Made an appointment with Lawrence Kia. I asked if I need to pay up front... No Unbelievable. Changing to Lawrence Id rather drive. My dad used to sell cars for the Topeka location. Hed be rolling over in his grave. He used to speak so highly of this location. Third time is not a charm!
Enjpyed speaking with a knowledgeable sales person on trucks
Nice dealership, salesman are not to pushy.
Asked for a certain priced car & one they had listed but tried getting me to buy something thousands more than I could afford so Id need a co-signor. Not happening.
They wasted my time having me come down to look at this gimmick called a Kia stinger. My best friend is a manager for the Kia Headquarters and he cant stand working on them himself. Just be careful dealing with Kia, they do have a few good cars but the Kia company I know always make a so called high performance turbo charged car that probably wont last more than a year before the problems start showing up. I mean dont get me wrong there are some good reliable turbocharged cars out there but I certainly wouldnt buy one from Kia, just my opinion and from past experience with workers of the company.
Good supportive group. Thank you Vickie.
Great job on my oil change
