The Bean is the best. They have good sandwiches. They have the only pasta salad Ill eat. There is a good selection of drinks. Not only is the food and drink good, they have live music on Friday and Saturday nights. I highly recommend stopping by for a cup coffee.

First time in cant believe how big it is on the inside nice and clean and laid back loved the atmosphere would be nice to enjoy some live performances on there stage while eating and relaxing..menu was huge wich made it hard to pick what I wanted but thats a good problem to have..my daughter got the cotton candy cheesecake and hasnt stopped talking about it since lol I got breakfast burrito and smoothie it was good definitely would go back overall experience was really good

Come here to get coffee and food, among other things. Many places inside and out to sit and relax, read a book, play cards. Very relaxed atmosphere. Great service and cheap prices.

Stopped by for iced coffee to go. I still wear my mask everywhere I go but at this point I was the only one in the coffee shop that was wearing one. Coffee is good. Hopefully when all COVID restrictions are gone they can start up their live music again.

Not very crowded at 8:30 on a Thursday morning. Order at the counter and theyll bring your food to you, using a stuffed animal as your table tent.The breakfast sandwich was delicious! I had egg, bacon and swiss on a croissant. The croissant was light and buttery. Paired with a great dark-roast coffee, it was a wonderful breakfast.

Went last night for the 1st time. I loved the atmosphere. Staff was nice. Cute little place. I cant wait to go back again.

I usually get one of their polar ice caps and always enjoy it. Their chai is also good. Occasionally the staff is a little snobby but generally theyre very nice. Its a great place to get homework done or meet up with someone. Free music entertainment on weekends as well. Place always seems decently clean.

Great coffee and I also enjoyed an amazing homemade braided cinnamon twist with fresh cream cheese based icing. I was also able to pickup my wife a gluten free brownie that she rant and raved about for days!

Cute place, excellent service. The barista was super pleasant and helpful, and makes a killer soy latte! I also got the Bach, Bach sandwich (chicken salad), which was also good.The menu has a great variety of sandwiches, and a few breakfast items. Standard coffee menu, plus bubble tea (!) and smoothies, and some clever seasonal drink offerings.Lots of decorations around the open and spacious dining area. The space is dimly but comfortably lit.Bonus-- stuffed animals as table markers!

Chocolate covered cherry poler ice cap with a hot double shot is awesome, and the food is amazing the staff are enjoyable and very friendly.

I started going here to play chess randomly with other people. The drinks are great and the food is OK. The environment is great. Its a little dark inside but manageable. I havent really had a bad experience here so far and I visit this location fairly often.

The coffee is among the best in town. The atmosphere is great. Ive seen live acts here that blew my socks off. The only thing thats keeping me from giving five stars is the breakfast burrito I just had. Microwaved eggs and uncooked veggies? Really? How can a place thats so good in every other way suck so badly at making a breakfast burrito?

Omg. You have to visit. Spacious and beautiful with an earthy atmosphere. Comfortable couches and chairs to do work if need be or relax and chat. People super down to earth and chill. Definitely will be finding my way back here. Oh and prices... $4.65 for a scone and coffee. 💋 Even came with 1 free refill!!

This place was so disappointing. The service was great but the food is lacking. I ordered chips with my sandwich, but they dont let you choose the chips you want. They have a display of different chip bags out front but you are only allowed to get a bag of plain potato chips from the back. The portions are really tiny for the price as well.

Had the tuna sandwich this time and it was outstanding. Staff are always friendly. Great place to get together with friends and not feel like you need to rush when your finished eating. The lighting is a bit dark.

The atmosphere at classic bean is nice and relaxing. It is well kept and clean. But the food is overpriced and nothing special. The portions are extremely small, for $11 of a small salad and small sandwich. The sides are a joke, you can either get plain chips or a dry weird tasting pasta salad.Overall its a good place to hangout and get homework done. But would not recommend wasting money on the food. It is not very good.

Finally! A place in Topeka where I may enjoy a cup of brewed coffee and a relaxing atmosphere. I do not like flavored coffee, I enjoy the taste of coffee, dont want cream sugar or any other flavors added. I dislike Starbucks because their coffee is bitter, probably because they specialize in flavored coffee, several places have good coffee but the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired, Classic Bean is great the setting peaceful and set to make a relaxing stay. My new and only kick back coffee stop.

Besides the big variety of teas, coffees and coffee drinks, they offer delicious food by way of salads, sandwiches and bakery goods.The environment is casual and relaxed. From high tables to regular tables, sofas, stuffed chairs and little nooks, youll find the right spot for yourself. Add to that a variety of weekly live music performances as a bonus, youll want to come back often.

They make excellent espresso and the Brie platter is a perfect snack. Seating areas and outlets are plentiful with traditional table/chair setups as well as high tops, couches, and plush arm chairs. It’s a diverse space I love to work in but I also stop in just to have a glass of wine and relax! I do hate their order delivery system they use... Get plastic numbers or something more sanitary than stuffed animals, please!! I HATE touching those dirty things.

The coffee was good. Pleasant atmosphere and fair selection. But the biscuits and gravy was terrible. The biscuits are too small, the gravy was made with water instead of milk and had virtually no sausage in it at all. Tasted more like wall paper paste. Hope their other food selections are better, but I have no desire to take the chance after the tasteless and overpriced b & g for what little you get.

Great breakfast for my husband and I for under twenty dollars. A half order of biscuit and gravy for him and I had the skillet omelet with fresh vegetables. So good!!!!

Coffees great and the employees are awesome.They have weekly bands, and a good atmosphere, Ive never attended a weekend band night where I felt unwanted, except when the owner was there.Seriously, watch out for the owner.Shes the worst part of the place.Shes short tempered and often refuses to make drinks as requested, and dont even think about getting your coffee the way you normally do if you turn in a free card.Shes refuses to make it the way youd normally order it and will only make it the way its printed on menu.That means if you normally order a $7 dollar beverage, expect to walk away with a $5 version that you didnt ask for and likely dont want. Shes changed the recipe to several Classic Bean Specials and theyre disgusting.Honestly, if it werent for the owner, this place would be a solid five stars!

Free music on Friday and Saturday evenings. They have fabulous salads and very good sandwiches. Im not impressed with stuff animals as my table marker...cute, but dirty as they are not washed between customers. Also, I despise people who bring dogs into a restaurant and then walk past your table with the animal in their arms above your food. Yuk!

I got coffee and sandwich, the coffee was horrible, it was so water down that you can not taste any coffee. The mocha latte was just milk and chocolate syrup. Asked to sub the salad side for a soup or chili and is not a option. You get a bag of lays chips and think thats good food. Save your $8-12 on a sandwhich and your $5 for coffee and go somewhere else.

Good coffee location, we often drop by when visiting family in Kansas. They have a good food selection and a nice quiet atmosphere. Great friendly staff, they also have bands that play in the evening.

This is a great, local coffee shop that can, YES, pull you away from Starbucks and still allow you to appreciate coffee. Starbucks in my opinion has taught local coffee shops how to raise their game. The Classic Bean has more than stepped up to the plate with a plentiful menu that you can eat from anytime and unique and tasty dishes.
