Solid coffee shop, good fundamentals. They stock excellent drip coffee. Staff is always friendly. Kind of limited on seating options inside. Some seating outside. Community vibe every time I’ve been in.

Moved to the area recently, looking for my new local go-to. The sandwiches here are customizable, and the quiches are tasty. I would only order hot drinks here, because when I ordered an iced coffee, I was handed a plastic up of ice and pointed at the hot drip coffee dispensers. No... that is not how you make iced coffee if you want good coffee.

This is a nice coffee shop. Good coffee, nice staff. They usually brew PTs beans and they keep their brewed coffee hot and tasty. The quiche is good also. Go check it out.

Neat coffee shop! I was on a road trip from Omaha to Tulsa and searching for a coffee shop that wasnt Starbucks. Found the steam engine. Coffee was very tasty. I ordered an egg sandwich with sausage on an English muffin; this was also tasty, but they somehow forgot the egg?

I got a light roast coffee to go and it tasted burned. It was incredibly hot, like too hot... didnt know that was possible. It was filled to the brim and dripped all over me and our interior. I would give them 1 star, but my husbands coffee tasted decent. He got creamer and sugar... so that helps flavor.Gotta dock ems 3 stars for my coffee and the lack of quality customer service... also Im pretty surethey offer their coffee up to idols. Who is Horus? It may be for some, but not this girl.

Got me my coffee super quick to be honest and was not put down for not knowing what to order or what things on the menu were.

Employees that work here are rude they wont introduce themselves to customers then who do you thank.Thank you mr oh wait I dont know who served my coffee or sandwich.I think its extremely rude behavior.After asking several times why I was told its funny because its you.The individual stated it keeps things interesting no more like scares customers away not wanting to return or leave a tip.Asked for bosses number was given a fake number would not recommend to anyone.I will not return nor will I advertise to friends or family.

The coffee is decent and the wait is much shorter than Starbucks. A good local coffee shop.

I liked the train theme of this place, but it’s not overwhelming. They have a very extensive coffee menu with multiple kinds of drinks and flavors. Their brewed coffee was really good. I had a cinnamon roll (which was good) and they had 8-10 sandwich options for lunch. There is plentiful parking and they were easy to find on the corner of the strip mall. On a Sunday morning they started out fairly empty around 10:30 but filled to more than 50% within an hour. Clientele is a mix of young and old, groups and singles. Worth a visit!

I love this little place! Quiet inside and just big enough to still be cozy and comfy. The coffee is great & they can make just about anything. The place is family owned and I love supporting local businesses. Give this place a try, its worth it!

Good coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Not too pricey and a comfortable dining area. Found an outlet under my bench but didnt need to use it however it wouldve been handy for a laptop.

Great coffee. Nice atmosphere. Slow service. I would go there again IF I had a lot of time on my hands. If youre in a hurry be prepared to wait. When I went in, they werent busy, but they still took fifteen minutes to prepare my coffee (I didnt order any fancy, and there were only like five people in the whole shop).

Very nice coffee shop! Their steam engine theme is really fun and manages to be its own locomotive thing rather than a steampunk effort. Coffe comes out hot (if thats what you ordered) and tasty! Their menu is large enough to offer good choices, but not so large as to be over whelming, which is great first thing in the morning. Service is also very polite and speedy.Edit: Vanilla Caramel Latte was yummy.

I visit Caras Cup about once per week to study. I love the breakfast sandwiches and the Meadowlark and Sunflower Club. The homemade soups and potato salad are excellent. The baristas and manager are always friendly and give great drink recommendations. The atmosphere is cozy, but crowded at times. I love Caras Cup!

Excellent service and amazing coffee! We asked the barista her recommendations since it was our first time there and she replied. Are you in the mood for something Iced or something hot. She took the time to find out what we may like rather than trying to sell us the most expensive thing on the menu. She made some great recommendations and we were very happy with our selection. I found the atmosphere to be very inviting. I would recommend this locally owned coffee shop to any coffee or tea lover.

Fun, cozy atmosphere and great coffee. Sat for a while to study and watched as staff greeted customers by name over and over. Repeat customers is a sign of a great place of business!

Pts coffee is AMAZING! The service there is very friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. They know how to make a dessert too. Cookies, lemon bars, scones, brownies, no bake cookies, and muffins all really good. These people will take care of you, they really get me and my coffee needs. Also dont forget to try their sandwiches. My wife wanted me to add their mocha free (sugar free) is AMAZING! You really wont be able to tell the difference.

I am a huge fan of the service here at Cara’s Cup. I feel like they just get it right. This a great place to sip and study. I come here in the mornings and for nightly and weekend study sessions. I see that they have a lot of repeat customers and that speaks volumes. Thanks Cara’s Cup!

I only recommend the coffee. Two sandwiches took 20 minutes. They were served luke warm and soggy. No music or anything playing, just really loud conversation among the 10 to 12 patrons inside. The cashier seemed disinterested in answering any questions and was unfriendly. I understand most people just go for the coffee, and that was the only really good thing about this place.

The Steam Engine is fairly new. So far, it has provided good coffee, a quiet and comfortable environment, and has friendly baristas. This place could easily become one of my favorite coffee shops.

I ordered a chai latte. They poured concentrate in a cup with some steamed milk and water. Gross. Thats not how chai latte is made. Chai, dhood, pani, adarak, kali mirch, cheeni, bas!

After 20 years of buying coffee here, I will not be returning to this location. I experienced rudeness which was a bit beyond the pale. I walked up and said, Hi, hows it going? The girl just stared at me, so I said oh, ok then, and placed my order. She screwed up my change; no biggie, but then snatched what she had given me out if my hand, threw the correct amount at me and proceeded to give me the worst latte ever: cold and with skim milk instead of whole milk and heated. Yuk! Her bad day ripped me off and hurt my feelings. Plus, she had seen me putting a dollar in the tip jar as she was taking my $10 and I really needed a drinkable cup of coffee that day.

Coming from a Denver foodie, this place is fantastic.The Golden Plains sandwich is to die for. Fresh crunchy tomatoes and crispy lettuce. My eyes rolled back in my head on the first bite. The pesto is delicious without being overpowering, and when mixed with the cream cheese its heavenly. Might I give your sandwich magician a hug?PTs coffee is A+++. Robust but not too acidic. I swear the coffee has a character of its own. You can tell it isnt from just any roaster.The decor is simplistic and cozy. However I did feel a little crowded with a tall shelf right in the middle of the room. Perhaps try displaying just one or two products on each shelf to allow for a more open feel. The framed burlap sacks and the high contrast pictures on the wall give it a laid back feel. Love it.Employees are very personable. Didnt catch her name but the woman with the freckles who took my order was a sweetheart.Overall experience was fantastic. I love to see customers enjoying each other in a public atmosphere.I will definitely be coming back.
