Ive been shopping here for over a year so its about time for a review. I live much closer to other lumber stores but I drive here for a reason. First off, the selection is really awesome. Lots of domestic and exotic woods to choose from and in varying widths and thicknesses. Well organized with vertical storage thats much easier to sort through than horizontal storage. Secondly, the staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and personable. They will help with sorting through lumber if needed, and will help with loading the car. I highly recommend them for their service and selection.

Youll feel like you were transported back in time to a mom&pop shop on Main Street, USA. Its a specialized shop in my view - a far cry from the big box stores. Its a friendly casual environment w/ top notch personalized customer service. A big shout out to Duane for helping to make a substantial(to me) transaction as easy as can be. I may have never discovered this shop had I not been looking for some very specific tools so Im glad I found them.

Prices are fair for the excellent quality. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable when you have questions.Door and drawer hardware selection is particularly excellent!

Just discovered this place. Amazing customer service. They helped sort through sheets of plywood for me and helped me load it into my truck. Also got a great deal on walnut shorts which were better quality than any walnut they had at a store down the street. This will be my go to for all my future projects.

Very cool store, may be a best kept secret in South Bay but word needs to get out, this is a great place to find the nicest woods and put your hands on the good hardware you need for those projects and jobs.

I consider myself very lucky to live in an area with even a single store like this one. They have a huge selection of hardwoods, plywood, finishes, and will help you source and order anything they dont have. Theyve made my recent remodel much easier than it would have been without them. It seems like they source pretty locally, but still have competitive prices and are way more helpful to us hoddyists and little spenders compared to the larger warehousey shops in OC that have impossible hours.
