The installation of the ADT system for our business was amazing. From our wonderful sales person Danny Garvin to our expert installer Jason. It was easy and painless. You guys rock!!
They have come by 5 times since we have moved in (8 months ago). Each time saying they were sent by our builder. Which is bs. Every time they come by I politely say I’m not interested. They just keep talking. Tonight I asked the guy to please take me off the list of homes to visit. He sarcastically laughed and said he does have “a list.” Just a terrible look for such a large company. It’s continued poor experiences like this as to why I will never support this company.
I only signed up because I had all the hardware in the house from previous owners. I was lied to about the initial charge. The phone agents I’ve spoken to just continue to transfer me until the call drops after 15-20 minutes and NO ONE ever calls back, so you have to repeatedly call. Tried to cancel, but could never get through to the right person…and now I’m stuck in this nightmare.
My husband got ADT services for our hous in February. He called to switch it over to our new house mid may (we were moving out end of may). They told him since there was a gap between our move out and move in dates that they could not transfer and we would have to cancel, so he did that. Only instead of cancelling they took his name off and put his 3 emergency contacts on the account instead, me, his mother, and his friend. None of us 3 signed any contracts with ADT. So imagine our surprise when 3 months later we get a bill from them stating we owed 200. We called and told them we had cancelled but they said they have no record of that call, but they could cancel it now for it to end in august. We told them to go ahead and do that and they said as for the 200 we would have to speak to the people who we signed up with and so they forwarded us to them. We told them our service was supposed to be cancelled as we hadnt lived there since may. They said they dont do the cancellations, ADT does. So they sent us back to ADT who said they dont do it, the service does. They have been bothering us for months. The lady also said that if we cancel now we would have to pay out our contract and the original salesman told my husband he was signing up for month to month. I have tried using BBB to get a resolution, I have treid emailing them and they have ignored me. To top it off, they did not cancel the service in August either as I got another bill for September and October. It has been a nightmare. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.Edit: we finally got ahold of someone and even though they admit it was the fault of the ADT representative, they are saying we still have to pay for it. They did the transfer incorrectly and they are trying to make us pay for their mistake. We are going to look at other security companies, this whole situation has made us see ADT as a predatory company. Should have read other reviews before buying.
We installed cameras on our hone, shop & barn. Could not be happier.Great service from the ADT tech and very affordable.
PLEASE PROTECT YOUR LOVED ONES ....FROM THIS COMPANY!! We just experienced a FLEECING of our 86 year old Grandmother that their field rep. felt perfectly comfortable taking advantage of a woman with obvious dementia and in an unstable condition. They work in Packs and show up unannounced and have no problem taking advantage of those whom we Love and try to PROTECT from such Predators.

Terrible experience. Been with them over a year. First off I was lied to by the salesman. He said I can cancel anytime but when I called to cancel, their system showed I was in a 3 year contract. Not a great start. Another problem is that my cameras hardly work. After the first month or 2, they stopped recording altogether. I made sure my storage wasn’t full. It’s not reliable and the sales people are awful. The customer service when I call is even worse. I spent an hour on the phone and the person put me on hold again for no particular reason. Also they draft the payments a day or 2 before the specific day we agreed on. Do not trust adt. Just buy a couple cameras off Amazon.
If I could Leave zero stars I would Colby Fulton the Manager and Mike Bratton are Genuine Con Artist they lie to you and tell you what ever they can to pressure you to singing a contract with them and then they will back out of they tell you and they both will give you the run around and tell you lie please stay away from these guys they are nothing but bunch of con artist that will take your hard earned money so the STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Twice these people have approached my home on foot, knocked on the door, and started asking questions about my neighbors. Two years in a row now they have asked me the same question do you know anything about your new neighbors. I honestly think these salesmen are just casing my property to come steal things later. Will not leave when they are very explicitly told to get off the property. I just keep calling the police
Do not get an ADT account! Do not switch over to Blue by ADT. THERE IS NO CANCELATION! YOU WILL PAY FOR THE DURATION OF YOUR CONTRACT WHETHER OR NOT YOU ARE USING THEIR SERVICES. I WILL SEE THEM IN COURT!

Go with literally anyone else. Put an old cellphone camera next to your door. Itll do a better job. ADT is absolutely terrible and their techs know nothing about what theyre doing.

A door-to-door salesman named Derrick was kind and polite, but did not accept the answer that we gave him at first, We need to look over our budget and well get back with you. Derrick ignored that. At first he offered a one-time fee of $199 and then $64 per month for all of the equipment. I was fine with getting all the cameras and equipment. Later came my wife and asked how much it would cost. He said the guy down the street didnt want all the fancy equipment and changed the price to a one-time fee of $99 and $64 per month for us. He asked more questions and then asked for our banking information. A red flag went up for me. I reminded that we still needed time to go over our budget and then we would call him later. He said, I can step outside for 5-10 minutes to let you decide? We said no thank you and he still asked personal questions.We felt that he was pushy.We just read all of these 1 star reviews and now will stay away from ADT services. If you come across their sales reps, stay away from them.
Our technician, Jacquen, was great. He was on time, helpful, and didnt take very long to complete the job. He also offered other ways to help protect our business!!
A young man came to the door, no mask on, started name dropping everyone on the street, trying to see if I qualify for a system. Do not send anyone to my door in the midst of Covid-19 or at any other time. When I called the Tulsa number, there isnt even an option to leave a message. I think I recognize the guy and hes been here before.
Had a salesman show up at our door at 7:30pm on a weeknight talking about how great the company was and how they had a once in a lifetime, amazing deal he could get for me. Hes then asking for my social and wants to run a credit report! When I politely tell him that we cant afford that, he starts getting pushy, insisting that he is going to give us thousands of dollars in free equipment and services. I again tell him that we are not interested and he became rude and unfriendly, storming off without even shutting the gate behind him (mind you, the gate had a large NO SOLICITING sign on it). Sounds like we dodged a bullet from this company, they are a bunch of pushy scammers.

ADT doesn’t care about you and your family. They care about money. That is all.During this COVID-19 pandemic my family had to relocate for my job. I took a serious paycut and my wife is entirely out of work. ADT has demanded several hundred dollars to let us out of our contract and have been extremely rude every time we call.I implore you not to use this company. ADT doesn’t care we are in a health and economic crisis. They just want your money.
Worst service I ever seen in my life didn’t know it was a 3 day trail soon as it was over my security system failed then they charge me 135$ to come fix the problem they made I ask to cancel it they to me it cost a thousand dollars
If youre approached by this company, RUN THE OTHER WAY!They have the most awful, inept customer service Ive ever encountered. In order to avoid being stuck in a 3-year contract, I bought out my plan. Then I was promptly charged for an additional month of service, despite confirmation I had paid out the balance of my contract.Please do not not use this company. There are far better options out there that value their customers and dont screw you over.

AVOID ADT at all costs! Theres a reason why they have extremely low ratings across the board and on several sites. They were dishonest about doing a hard pull on my credit, the total cost of my bill, and the list goes on...I would advise that EVERYONE who is/was a victim of ADTs poor business practices and lies, report them to the following agencies; Federal Trade Commission, Better Business Bureau, the Attorney General, YELP, and FCRA.

Really disappointed in this company! Charges each month that aren’t supposed to be there. They keep telling me they’ve added a credit to our account but clearly haven’t. Absolutely a sham. I am about ready to have my attorney get us out of our crazy 3 year contract. I’d use anyone but them.
We scheduled for adt to install a system.Glad I stayed home for hours for them to never even show up. No call. Nothing.
I called ADT early August 2019 and SPK2 Sean from sales. I ordered 7 windows, 2 doors, fire alarm and our garage to be secured with ADT system. The techs arrived, as scheduled on August 12, 2019 and informed me my husband and I were ONLY scheduled to have 2 doors and 1 motion detector installed. We would have to pay an additional $80 per window (which would be $560) and they could not accommodate our garage. Techs informed us the system would be active 24/7; we lost power that night and the system was down. System restarted when power came back on 5-1/2 hours later, however, we were lied to and being the honest people we are, we were not impressed. August 13th, the next day, I called ADT, wanted to report my concerns and was bounced around to 5 different people, who kept telling me, It wasnt their job. Would not recommend ADT to a friend.
Equipment was not installed properly. They didnt even get the front door sensor put on and even told me that it was working. The first day I had ADT, the cable guy came out and disabled the system while I was away and the alarm didnt trigger (worthless system). Calling customer service is a joke. They are very rude with no phone skills. They like to argue with you and talk over you. Avoid ADT
These guys are thieves!! Dont make the same mistake that I made. They have over charged me by double the amount that I was originally promised. Defenders said they couldnt do anything and I should have read what I was signing. Still trying to get it worked out with ADT directly. Shop around. This is the worst option!
This company is awful. Their sales reps will lie to your face, their installers will destroy your property, and their service is poor.Use these people if you want to have a bad time.

Why are salesman soliciting homes at 8:30 PM at night asking for information about security systems? Which security system can I buy to keep ADT security salesmen off my property at night?
They said they could do the $27 deal and they came and installed the stuff and put holes in my walls and then tried to upsell me and I said no so they left me with holes in my walls. Sneaky salesman tactics
