Looking for a good spot for brunch and Dilly Diner was recommended. I am so glad we stopped in. The staff and service was great. The atmosphere was pleasant and the fellow diners were also very friendly.During our visit we tried the chicken and waffles and the brioche French toast with bananas, walnuts, and a caramel sauce. Both options were delicious. The chicken was a good size fried breast filet that sat on top of the waffle. The Sriracha honey was the perfect complement. The French toast was very delightful. Very happy with the experience and look forward to another visit.
Coffee here was great. While the mugs are on the smallish side, the wait staff frequently will be around to refill you. Chicken fried steak was fair. Its HUMONGOUS but a lot of it is breading. Gravy is good... wish it had more sausage in it. Potatoes were good and cut into large chunks! The atmosphere was nice. On the way out we saw the cookies and other sweets. Next time we need to start with those. Wow they look delicious! Cant wait to give this place another visit.
Nice place overall. Decent parking, good location.First, I was impressed by the bar selections. Now I was there for brunch, but the liquor selections were on display and you could immediately tell this wasnt just a diner. So we ordered a Bloody Mary, dirty. And they produced a well above average Bloody Mary, definitely an A for effort. Not an A+ but damn good.On to the food, the breakfast burrito was good, very eye appealing and not to bad on flavor. Fresh avocado and fresh fruit on the side. The frittata, yum, this was a good one. Very nice. But the star of the show were the short stack griddle cakes. They were perfect. I mean perfect. Spot on cooked. Bourbon Caramel drizzled perfect. I wasnt expecting griddle cakes to shock me, but here we are... I will be ordering those on my next trip. Bravo!
Drove pass it and did not know it. However, when I found it I was pleased. First, I could not find free parking and the parking lot is a little uneasy. Lets just say I would not park there at night. The restaurant was boiling with people. I like the option to have a small amount of bubbly with breakfast. I set at the bar because all of the tables were taken and it is a small restaurant. The food tasted yummy! The French toast was moist, eggs fresh, and sausage was savory. Overall, great breakfast. Black Approved!
Dilly Diner is easily one of my favorite places in Tulsa. The food. The coffee. The ambiance. The staff is always so amazing. All staff are wearing masks and seating customers a safe distance from one another. Currently it’s tastefully decorated with holiday decorations! Any place that sells great breakfast food all day is my kind of place!
Friendly and welcoming dinner. Excellent service and delicious food. The short stack of buttermilk hot cakes exceeded my expectations. Great family dinner.
Great service, Great food. Went here twice during my visit, first time I had the BLT w/ avocado and a side garden salad. The whole meal was excellent. Also had the brunch punch, sweet drink for me, but very tasty. Second time had the chicken fried steak breakfast with eggs. Tasted great, lots of gravy. Overall would recommend.
Honestly this is one of my favorite spots in tulsa! the food is amazing 🤩 and the service is the best. although we ordered sandwiches for lunch, i love that they serve full menu all day, best of both worlds! the space is inclusive and the decor was very sleek and stylish. we will definitely be back!
This is a trendy little diner in the middle of the Blue Dome District. My husband and I stopped in for brunch. He had the French Dip and loved it. However, I got the Fritatta and it was overcooked and a bit dry so I was disappointed about that. Mimosas were good though! Service was friendly. I’ll probably be back but will try something different on the menu. We did enjoy the atmosphere and decor in the diner.
Great food always but the service is rough. Brace yourself if you want to enjoy the food.
I went there on a Saturday at brunch time, so my opinion on service may be a little skewed. The service was somewhat slow, but the atmosphere was exactly what youd expect from a diner. While it was packed, it felt full yet intimate. The food was good, my friends and I had a burger, breakfast burrito, 2 eggs breakfast, and the jumbo cinnamon roll to share. Drinks seemed to be poured fairly, not too light and not exceptionally heavy. There were good options for American diner style food. The Dilly is a bit of a staple in Tulsa, so I would definitely suggest going but maybe at a less busy time.
We went to Dilly’s on a Saturday morning. We signed in with hostess, there was 5 people ahead of us. After a long wait I noticed that people that came in after us were getting seated. I ask the hostess why people that came after us were being seated and she tried telling me they were ahead of us. I know for a fact that they came long after we had been on the list! We waited for over an hour to be seated After we were seated with menus, we never seen a waitress, we never got drinks there was no service what so ever. After sitting at our table for 15 minutes we left. The worst service we have ever experienced! I will not be going back!
Very busy place on a Sunday lunch time. Wait staff constantly moving, waiting and bussing tables. Food decent but maybe pricey. I would go back though. Staff friendly.
I love this place! The food is so good and they have a lot of variety. It is always a nice ambient there. The staff is nice and the food doesnt take long to be ready.
One visit and they have my attention. Its cozy, the wait staff is on point and most of all my meal (chicken & French toast) was excellent. The French toast was some of the best Ive tasted and the chicken very good. The next time Im back in Tulsa I will be visiting.
Good food and I LOVED the fast and friendly and VERY helpful staff, as well as the pride flag and LGBT acceptance and great music. We felt so taken care of and appreciated as customers and humans there. Really made our Tulsa experience wonderful. And their staff is happy and I hear the owners are LGBT friendly and take care of their staff, and you can tell. Good team and beautiful ambience inside. We love a good and ethical and fun and classy establishment 👍👍👍
First time here based on reviews and photos other people have posted. The food was so fresh and just amazing! The staff was nice as well. I love that they help local farms and what not by buying produce from them. You can taste the difference in the food hands down. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Tulsa and want some brunch! My favorite part, the entire menu is served all day! Thanks again for such a great experience!
Stopped in for breakfast and was BEYOND amazed!!! SUPER comfortable atmosphere, SUPER friendly and outgoing staff, didnt want for ANYTHING! They EVEN spoke my love language, SIRACHA SAUCE!!! I had the two egg breakfast with bacon, red potatoes with peppers and onions and biscuit and gravy and it was DELICIOUS! Definitely was the comfort food I was looking for....
1 word: Delicious. Many more words: I loved Dilly Diner. Im a breakfast for dinner kinda girl, and they didnt leave me disappointed. They have a great selection of adult beverages, desserts, and yummy breakfast items. I had a boozy cherry limeade and the apple pie waffle. You have got to try that waffle! It was clean with tons of cool decor, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Dilly Diner can have all of my dollars 😍
Dilly Dinner is one of the few traditional American diners left in downtown Tulsa. Dillys has average food for the average cost you would expect from this type of restaurant. Where they Excel is in their service. They have excellent service, in the days of covid-19, and was willing to humor me in sitting at a location that was 12 ft away from everyone as opposed to the recommended 6 ft by the CDC. The waitress also did a fantastic job providing great service. Overall not a bad experience.
Meh.. nothing special and honestly not sure why it remains so popular, but it does so good for them. Not my place though
A quaint take in a diner. Diner decor, better than diner food, very good service, friendly staff. Recommend.
The food was fantastic. The restaurant was clean, had dividers up, and the staff were very professional and kind. I loved that it is obviously LGBTQ+ friendly. I will definitely go back.
The service was good. The food was great!! I had the breakfast burrito as a bowl because I am gluten intolerant. No problem with my request.
Wonderful coffee - loved sitting in booth with large picture window looking at historic blue dome building. Side of bacon good and house salad adequate - will being the family back to try other things on the menu.
Had the breakfast but they served me too many potatoes. Delicious over all.
I have been to Dilly Diner quite a few times and always have a wonderful experience. This most recent time, however, I had a confrontational and negative experience with the host. We had a party of 6 and was told it would be a 30 min. wait. Over an hour later multiple groups had been seated ahead of us and we asked how much longer they thought it would be. The host responded that they couldn’t sit us at a 7-top because there was a chance a group of 7 would come in. Then the host proceeded to get somewhat confrontational and condescending with a member of my party. Once we were seated, the server (Jack) was so kind and helpful and our food was wonderful! Other than the host, this was a wonderful experience. Wish they had been a little more accommodating and kind.
Dilly Diner is a local breakfast fave of my husbands. We met some friends from out of town there this morning around 9:30 and I had one of my most unpleasant experiences. My husband and I walked in together and he walked to the restroom. The hostess greeted me and I told her wed need a table for 4 adults and a child. She then looked down as if she didnt see or hear me. Seconds later a 2-top walked in and the hostess grabbed menus for them to be seated. I looked puzzled. Another employee came to the hostess stand and greeted me. I said, hi, we need a table for 4 adults and a child. She began to laugh. Literally, laugh loudly and hysterically. Im still unsure why. The man from the 2-top apologized for cutting in line, to which I responded, I dont think you cut, they are ignoring me for some reason.Im still not certain as to why this interaction happened and unfortunately bothered. The hostess sat us at a table with spilled cereal under it and crumbs still on the table top from the previous patrons.
Great food and great atmosphere! Our waitress was very attentive! Great Oklahoma hospitality!
Good chicken and waffles. The waffle was soft and fluffy. The fried chicken was crispy but not dry. I think my favorite was the creamy cinnamon roll with the pecans.
One of the best food spots in Tulsa. Always delicious food no matter when you go. Breakfast and brunch has great coffee and food. Same as the amazing meals you can get for lunch.
One of the best places in Tulsa to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner. I have never had a bad experience here. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. The food is always as fresh and delicious as food could possibly ever be. Great atmosphere!! You could literally close your eyes and blindly point at the menu and never be disappointed with what you order. The only downside is that there is a long line sometimes but that’s just because this place is so amazing and it’s totally worth the wait. Highly recommend!!! Seriously!!!! You need to check this place out!!!
Wonderful food. Biggest cinnamon rolls Ive ever seen!
This is a great place with three different areas: indoor tables and booths, a counter with retro round stools (each with its own power outlet), and an outdoor patio. The menu (check it out on their website) has breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but all selections are available all day.Excellent food and service with a fun atmosphere. Located right by the Blue Dome.
We had 4 FANTASTIC meals this weekend. The menu is great, the service is outstanding, and the food is exceptional. Even if youre stuffed [and you will be], take home some of the Best Cookies youll ever eat! Dont miss the Chicken & Waffles, Bananas Foster Belgian Waffle, or the Chicken Fried Steak. [You can thank me later]. Be sure to request MAGGIE or CHLOE to take great care of you.
Always enjoy visiting this place. Food is always great!
Early Sunday morning breakfast at the Dilly Diner downtown isn’t complete without Ray as your waitress!!! She greets you with a smile, answers your questions, and provides service that is “Second to None!” When you walk through the door ask for Ray for the best waitress and dining experience.
I have been coming here regularly when Im in town for about 2 years. The quality of the food has declined drastically. The seasonal variety and Change-Up of items from the bakery is no longer existent, and theyve even stopped making their own hamburger buns! I think they have become comfortable with their reputation for great food, and with comfort comes complacency and staying on top of their game. However the staff there are friendly and welcoming. You get 10% discount with your Hyatt room key...
The food was delicious and served in a timely manner. Our server wasnt the best (didnt refill drinks), but it was still and overall good experience. Fun, family friendly atmosphere. Great location.
Good food at a great price with excellent service!
Been looking for a great breakfast place. This is it. Great food, atmosphere, and service.
Stopped in for lunch while passing through. Service was friendly and helpful. I got a bacon cheeseburger and fries and didnt like it. The patty was a little dry, tasted like a frozen patty. Although I didnt like the cheeseburger, Id still go back and give it another shot. Definitely recommend checking it out through!
Such good food and kind workers. Calm atmosphere as well. Defiantly worth it.
Dilly never fails to impress. The young and eager waitstaff seem like our neighbors kids, and the menu will surprise you, going far beyond your fathers diner.
Great place to go eat breakfast! Had really good sausage and pancakes. I highly recommend if you are in the area of Downtown Tulsa or surrounding areas.
Came to Dilly’s from Texas and this restaurant was recommended to us. Very spacious, family friendly, great menu. Had the 4 pancake stack and breakfast tacos. Boy were they delicious. I added some caramel and pecans to the pancakes kind of like bananas foster and it made me want to slap my mama. Delicious food must try!
Dilly Diner has been 5* both times my partner and I have gone. Abraham and Chris have served us, and gratitude goes out to both for their quality! This time we ordered the Double Burger (I added bacon and avocado that they loaded up and on!! ❤️) the tall stack of pancakes (delicious!!) and the 2 egg breakfast (w/ biscuits&gravy, sausage, breakfast potatoes)Last time we ordered the breakfast burrito, 2 egg breakfast, and short stack.Overall, you MUST try the breakfast potatoes. Everything else is spectacular!Try it!!!!
Im absolutely OBSESSED with Diners ☺️ It just reminds me of the movie Grease!Almost everything about this diner I loved ♥️. I sat at the bar & the bartenders were awesome!Came in for breakfast! 😋 delicious.🤤The ONLY this I disliked was swatting away the Nats. And thats why it was rated 4 ⭐️s.The bartender with the green hair was so sweet (I didnt get her name 🙁) & she even gave me a coffee shop recommendation! She also took my picture at the bar top! ☺️
Good food and good atmosphere. Pretty good bakery too, we’ll worth a stop if you’re downtown during the 2nd breakfast timeframe.
I cant remember the last time I gave 5 starts to anything but this one is legit. We had 10 of us together, two are military families, and visited here on spring vacation to have breakfast. The food - unique and SO delicious - and the service was so incredibly friendly, humorous at times, and just the kind of hometown place youd always desire to go to. Dillys will be our place the next visit there. Thank you Dillys chefs, servers and management!
My wife and I ate at this restaurant, we started a trend of eating out at a place we’ve never been instead of the same ol spots. Heard about Dilly Diner from a friend and was glad we did. The atmosphere was really cool, diner style but a little more elegant and trendy. The staff was very helpful with opinions of what to try and what we may like. The prices were expected and the food portions were huge. I saw someone with a Country Fried steak about a foot long, no exaggeration at all. We ordered the chicken and waffles and some drinks. It was amazing with the Syrup Siracha and we definitely will be back. I do want to say that the restrooms weren’t as clean as I was expecting but other than that a good spot to eat!
Wow, what a gem of a diner hidden in plain site. The wait staff really made us feel right at home, and the Pastrami and French Dip sandwiches were simply tbe best weve ever had. The decor is cozy, eclectic with vintage 60s black and white framed movie and TV prints. We will be back every chance we get for sure.
Delicious food. Cocktails were good!
We ate here for lunch on a Sunday, and it was busy. Our waitress was friendly but not especially attentive (but like I said, it was busy). The menu had some really creative and tempting offerings, but due to allergies I stick primarily to a vegan diet. Everything on the menu had obvious meat or dairy, except the enormous cinnamon rolls with the pecan glaze or the one salad option (if requested without cheese). I went with the salad, which was very tasty and fresh. It wasn’t huge (especially for a $10 salad with only four ingredients: mixed greens, dried cherries, glazed walnuts, and vinaigrette dressing), but it was good. Adding a side of bread would have made it more filling. I stole some of my daughter’s chips, and they were good too.
Delicious foods, great service, and happy environment. Best places to get breakfast downtown.Be sure to get the Thanx app so you can get the benefits of eating at restaurants in the McNellies Group.
Great staff, nice little menu. The small stack was too much for my small appetite.
Great Craft show I got to be apart of, very nice staff made sure I was comfortable & took care of any requests made. The food is beyond delicious, the Pulled pork Nachos are a must! Highly recommend Dilly Diner!
Dilly Diner is another solid concept of the McNellie Group. The food is good and the service is quick and friendly.
Outstanding Huevos Rancheros. Great coffee, and a wonderful staff.
Loved the brunch here. If you planning to go here for weekend brunch, just know that they have a big waiting line in the mornings. Good part is that they are open till 9 pm on weekendsys. Also their juices are not from the packets and they actually sqeeze the fruits. Love their orange and grapefruit juice, they taste just like fruit juice than some Real or Tropicana fruit drink. Good variety of brunch items and good price. The staff is very friendly and they can customize your dish as per your preferences.
Food is delicious. Brenna the manager fixed a little mistake and we will definitely be coming back. We love this place!
Okay, so the food here is absolutely amazing! If they could add two stars for service, this place would be 5 stars easy. After waiting a few minutes before being greeted, I was assigned a set in a half booth near the drafty front door. At that point, I waiting expectantly for the rest of my party for 15 minutes. After they arrived, we were finally provided with some water and menus. The food arrived relatively quickly but sadly we had to request silverware, twice. But alas, we were provided silverware and demolished the best meal I’ve had in quite a while. There was a table of four next to us that ended up leaving before even ordering their food, they didn’t seem very happy about the level of service.Long story short, this place is bomb, and you should eat here. They have a cinnamon roll that is the size of a pizza and is pure magic.Maybe soon the service will catch up to the food and I can write a 5 star review for this fantastic restaurant!
They had me at breakfast served all day. The place is very unique, the staff impeccable and the food was delicious.
The people there are the best...everyone is incredibly helpful and nice...the food is delicious ...when was the last time you had orange juice that was freshly squeezed and taste like an orange. One of my favorite places to eat in Tulsa.
Love the atmosphere and awesome food.. My next stop when Im in town.. Staff was friendly and service was exceptional..
Very good quick eats restaurant with friendly staff and a full bar. The menu is very limited and there are no stand out offerings. There is an out door patio but its more like a kids playground so head on over for a nice family night.
Great breakfast! Perfect French toast. Yummy mimosas! Great service. Great decor. Definitely a must try for downtown Tulsa.
