I always enjoy visiting the Tulsa Violin Shop. As a school orchestra teacher I have to bring in instruments from time to time for repair or maintenance. Before this shop opened there was no place in Tulsa to get this level of experience in the repair of orchestral strings, whether they are student level or vintage professional instruments.They also sell new and seasoned instruments ranging from new student instruments to instruments suitable for college music majors and professionals.

I can get strings put on and set up for about the same price as buying online. Lou did some repairs on our old violin for a good price.

Ive dealt with Lou on several occasions & hes always been absolutely great! Hes professional as well as personable, knowledgeable about all things violin/viola/cello/bass & eagerly passes that knowledge & passion for it on to others. You can look all you like but youll never find a better person or place to care for your instrument.

What a helpful and enjoyable place!The owner, Lou, guided me with the transformation of my student-quality upright bass. He recommended a few replacement parts and excellent advise as I wanted to change my own strings on the bass.He spent a lot of time with me in the shop and the results were phenomenal!
