Rachel cut my mom and I’s hair and is so wonderful! I’m moving to Austin, but she is so lovely that we plan on driving here to keep getting our hair done by her! Her scalp massage is phenomenal and she has a very kind personality.She also helped pick products that we love and have helped with our long term hair goals and health!10/10 recommend!!

Josh Hispanic young lady was not professional, and had me waiting a long time while she assisted other customers when I first in line at the register. I told her that she needed to tell the customer that she had another customer waiting on her, but that she would come back to answer their questions is more of a professional approach than to ignore me for a long time and my baby got tired of standing waiting for her..I met Cory for the first time a few days ago and he is amazing,professional, benevolent, kind, and patient in answering all my questions. He is also very knowledgeable about skin care and the products that ulta sales making it easier for me to know which items to buy.

Ok I don’t shop in this store very often- but will never shop here again. I don’t care if you have all sorts of people working in your store. But- when the guy in the lavender pants tries to be who he is too hard and over exaggerates an answer to my question, well that ruined it for me. Simple question- turned into a VERY Loud answer about my hair extensions being fake hair? WTH? Really?I will continue to order my products online at Amazon.Not worth someone announcing to whole store I had FAKE Hair, which by the way are extensions.

I had an appointment today at the brow bar for a brow tint and lash application. The brow tint went fine but the lash application not so much. The lady told me that the lashes should last a few days. Well they didn’t even last a few hours. One she applied the lashes too far from my lash line to where there was a very clear gap between my lashes and the fake lashes. Two, the lashes didn’t even last three hours before they started falling off. I regret wasting my time getting this service done if it wasn’t going to last as long as it was supposed too.

This review is long over due but I went to the store about a month ago now and cannot rave enough about the staff there. I hate that I didnt get the names but there were two women and a man who went just above and beyond to help my clueless self. I made a purchase online but didnt do it correctly but one of the women, I believe she was a manager, helped take care of me so I was still able to get the deal. The man that helped me took the time to walk with me and explain different products I was interested in and recommend ones that he thought would help and color matched me (PERFECTLY might I add!) and then introduced me to another woman from the salon who took the time to explain different styling tools and I ended up buying the bed head wave maker tool and I absolutely LOVE it. I had been wondering around for hours feeling overwhelmed and these people helped me tremendously. So thank you guys, I hope next time I visit you three are there to help me again! You truly dont know how much you helped me that day. Much love to you and the rest of the staff at the Tyler TX Ulta!

This store is full of incompetent staff that make you jump through hoops to correct their mistakes. My mother has brought in 2 bottles, 2 different times to get replacement makeup, they have sold her the wrong colors both times and then made me go through a long process of getting a refund for her when I brought one of the products back.I live in Dallas have used many of the ulta stores and have never had problems... This store needs to step up and start hiring and training competent people.

Easy in and out with very helpful staff. I still not comfortable from the pandemic, but the employees are still wearing masks. I really appreciate that consideration. I have had my vaccines, but I dont know that others have.

A bit overpriced for my tastes but it seemed to me that they had every kind of makeup and hairdo accessories known to women. Basically everything under the sun!

Normally Ulta is on point, but with COVID protocols, they are unable to color match you on the spot. Basically you have to purchase a foundation, try it and then make the trip all the way back to the store to return it... not ideal, the makeup the associate “matched” with me was completely orange and awful.

HorribleHeather trying to sell my Fiance perfume that is not what he came for.Three visits. We gave up. Dillards or Macys from now on. And being a huge condescending snot to me and show ME dishonor and FLIRT with him. Ugh! Most unbecoming behavior. Do not send your husbands to ULTA.

Wow I had to do was look it up and see the reviews and I’ve never seen almost every single review reflecting poorly on the managers and their customer service representatives. I literally read four reviews calling the employee snobby. Sounds like a very reputable place ! With a certain manager in control there not a lot should be expected. I saw a lot of people were let down and with this manager that seems like the trend I have family in the store frequently and it’s really just the easiest place to go but they have to pick up the stuff On their own when they go there’s no help no intelligence on what’s going on. My opinion of the manager whose name starts with a T is that probably needs to find a job at a movie theater sleeping a popcorn I don’t believe there’s anyway you can mess it up.

I went to receive my birthday gift and they were out of stock. The manager did substitute for me though. Great store.

Love this store. Personal attention. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I received excellent recommendations from one of the staff. She really went out of her way to help me find what I was looking for. The prices are reasonable and every range of product is available. I found some great sales on high end products that I might not have tried. I now make this the place I buy my makeup instead of the mall. If you are looking for it, they probably have it!

I went to Ulta Beauty because it was National Lipstick Day and they were having a sale. The lipstick I use usually is not on sale and coupons cannot be applied except on this day. I was on a mission get my Lipstick Queen when a lovely and helpful associate name Alicia told me about another lipstick that was buy one get one free. I thanked her and said I was happy with my brand. She said okay but you can test it out just let me know. I said okay and she started telling me about the brand and why she liked it. She took me to her station and worked her magic. I purchased her recommendation. This is truly customer service at its best. I love the lipstick it is very smooth and moisturizing and no I did not purchase my Lipstick Queen. I did get two Maroon Becca.

The girls here ALWAYS help me out. Whether it is looking for a new shampoo or helping me pick my amazonian foundation color. I really appreciate the help!

Im giving 3 stars only because the store is like a sauna every time you go.. Ive been twice in the last couple of months and I cant shop in there. Guess Ill try in summer to see if they have ac as good as heating

This was a nice Ulta location, and I do suppose the reasons for ones visit would ultimately have a significant influence on the outcome. Given that it was but a few weeks before Christmas, the fact that it was rather busy— a given. Overall, customer service was handled well; especially with the number of customers in the store.My reasons for an imperfect review are that I had gone in for two specific items (among several others) which I know they carry. Unfortunately, both items were unavailable in both the size and fragrance I was in search of. With one item being cologne, I was forced to make an alternate decision. The other item was available in a different scent/formulation and much smaller bottle than I came in for. Overall, I understand this— it was Christmas. Things run dry! Aside from that and a mixup at the register which resulted in a miscommunication over a payment method (i.e., I did NOT wish to apply for an Ulta card), everything else was absolutely fantastic! And, I’m sure I’ll be back once again for the next occasion!

Went to pick up a gift for my moms birthday. The clerks were super helpful, got assistance as soon as I walked in even though the store was incredibly busy. I was in and out in about 15 mins.

Every time I come in here Im always impressed by the amazing customer service. If theyre out of something youre looking for, theyll tell you when they will have it in stock, and go above and beyond to get it for you. This store is always clean and organized as well, which I very much appreciate.

Drove my wife and Mother here last week when visiting for Easter. The young lady that helped was disinterested and flippant with my Mother, who is the kindest lady you will ever meet. She made a quick suggestion without really trying. In the end she ended up going to the Ulta in Longview to get actual help. Return business? Not likely.

Today was my first time walking into this store, and Carmen walked by and welcomed me. She asked me if I needed help and I told her what I wanted to do to my hair and she showed me products and then let me know that she could do my hair if I wanted her to and that she had an opening! I let her do my hair and she went above and beyond to get my hair where I wanted it!! I highly suggest this salon and please go see Carmen Menchen she is the absolute hands down the best and will not let you leave until she can deliver!!!

I normally do not right a review on anything whether the experience is good or bad, but i have to give some credit to the service here. I have already gotten my hair done 3 times here and each time i went was better than the last. Sara is the hair stylist i have been requesting each time since my firsy hair appointment . she goes above and beyond her job and by the work she does you can tell it is her passion. Absolutely love going here!

They usually have what I need, but whenever I go for something specific theyre always out. Maybe everyone had the same thought, but itd be nice if I could walk through and not see empty shelves every other time, and I frequent this location. The staff is helpful when I can find someone!

Caitlyn is the bomb!! She repaired a bad hair highlighting I had done the day before. I am so so so happy with the results. She is extremely educated and professional in her field and walked me through all that she was doing based on what I needed to get the right treatment for my hair. She never made me feel like I did anything wrong like some hairstylists tend to do. Caitlyn made me feel like I deserved to have the best. I felt well taken care of and am so happy to have finally found a stylist in Tyler. Thank you Caitlyn!

I booked a 10:00 appointment with Tammy for an updo for my son’s wedding today. After waiting for 35 minutes and no one having even spoken to me, I had no extra time to continue waiting so I left. I did at least tell the receptionist I could not wait any longer. A total waste of time and a disappointment because I don’t know what to do with my hair now! As I drive home, crying because I wanted to look as nice as possible on my Son’s special day, I decide that I will not be back. Note to Tammy: if you had even simply walked over to say hello and let me know it would be a bit longer, I probably would have waited a few more minutes. As it was, the $75.00 and nice tip left with me.

Most ladies in the makeup section were willing to help IF you approached them first. There is a lot to see so their hesitation may be to allow you to view everything. I had a makeover with Molly. She was awesome! I went back to purchase other products and unfortunately Molly wasn’t there, the other girls referred to her as the main person with the know how. Although they were limited in their knowledge, one person I approached was able to help. Very nicely lite open space with cleanliness. I recommend over the mall because they are able to help you mix and match products for your benefit and not for selling just one brand.

Madison is the most amazing person ever. Shes a manager there and is so helpful. She always makes me feel beautiful and gives the best recommendations on makeup. That and her makeup is always on point!

Crystal is the rudest person I have ever encountered in retail. At least I think her name was Crystal, thats the name on my receipt. When I said I didnt want to sign up for the rewards program, she rolled her eyes at me. She was very rough with the products I was purchasing, practically threw them in the bag. My girlfriend was standing behind me and not buying anything; when Crystal was done she called her sweetheart as she handed me the bag, she didnt say anything like have a nice day or thanks for coming in to me. Clearly trying to let me know she was not happy about me, if her body language wasnt shouting that already.I dont know what I did to set her off, I was the ideal customer. I had my payment ready, I didnt try to haggle or dispute prices, I was polite. It upset me enough that Im still thinking about it the next day, enough to get on here and write a review. Everyone else was nice and helpful, 5 stars to everything thats not Crystal!

I am never disappointed in the service I received at Ulta. As a person who never seems to get their foundation match just right, I always appreciate the help of the staff here. Their recommendations have been nothing but awesome.

The worst ulta there is. ive been going back and forth waiting for r.e.m to be restocked and they still haven’t restocked it and i called them a couple days ago and they said they didn’t have it but on the website it said it was in stock at the store. bs.

Pricy, of course but when youve offers you can find almost everything in 100 of brands of beauty products. I brought some Clinique hydrating moisturizer which is in Christmas deal with free lip-gloss. it was a pretty good deal.

The ladies were so nice. Since it is my birthday month I told them if I will receive a birthday gift. Young lady told me ULTA will send me an email for a free eyeshadow. She was very sweet and even wrote the customer service number just in case I didnt receive it.

They have great products, but the staff is a bit rude. A lot of stores will ask for your phone number, but I never care to give it to them. Every time I come here when they ask and I say no they always make a big deal about it. They lie saying if I dont give my number I cant return my items (yes i can, its called keeping the receipt). Or will sometimes act like I cant make a purchase unless I give my number. They are always surprised when I say no thank you. Thats a quick way to lose business.

I really like Ulta; Id LOVE Ulta, but the service here is hit or miss. They have higher end makeup and drugstore makeup as well as skin care products, hair products, styling tools. They also have a salon which I have witnessed my sisters use and they had great service.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!! I have a specific story but I will start by saying every single time I go in there the girls are extremely snotty and act like they’re doing you a favor by helping you!!! Last week I called him to see if pallet that I have been waiting for was back in stock because they told me they get shipment every Friday morning. The girl put me on hold for about 10 minutes, I’m not sure who I spoke to she put me on hold for 10 minutes and then came back and said “yes we have it!” and asked for my name and said that they put it at the front for me and that I could come get it whenever I wanted. I told her I would be in within an hour or two to pick it up. Then I hung up got ready and drove 40 minutes one way with traffic to pick up my pallete which they then told me, “they don’t have and they don’t know who I spoke to but they haven’t had it in weeks and that they’re “sorry for my experience”!! I am furious about that. Then I called back today which is a week later, and another girl named Morgan was extremely rude to me on the phone. I was just curious if they have gotten their shipment already she’s like snapping at me angrily “yeah and it’s not here!!!!!!!” Because I dared to ask her! I just Hung up on her. I hate going to that store and I try to avoid it like the plague and deal with Sephora as much as possible. Honestly the girls here are the rudest and most snotty people I’ve ever met in my life. No one tries to help you and they act like you’re annoying them by existing. Do not recommend at all!!!!!

The only reason I have tolerated this exact store was for my Benefit brow girl, Amy. Highly recommend her, but not this store. The staff for the most part was snooty and rude, more specifically at the register. Being a mom of 3 littles, it is so difficult to even get out, so when I do it is a treat. Driving to Rockwall from now on.

Worst experience ever. Shamika ruined my hair, I asked for a balayage and this is what she did to my hair, this is also a joke of a haircut!I called and spoke to the store manager about a service correction, she took my information and said she’d call me back but she never did, she didn’t care at all. I wasted $130 and my hair is now ruined, I have to spend more money to correct their job.

The Tyler store is incredibly disorganized and generally messy. The staff is not only rude they are not knowledgeable. Better training for employees and cleaning practices need to be put in place at the Tyler location. I will just continue to purchase online or at other Ulta stores in the Dallas area bc this store does not strive for customer service.

Entered at 5:25 on a Sunday (they close at 6:00) to get mens haircut. The male in the beauty salon told me it was to late! No, its too late if yo come in at 5:55, but not with 35 minutes until closing.

The young lady who works in the Lancôme department was exceedingly patient and helpful in answering all my questions. I did not buy Lancôme makeup, but I did buy a different brand of makeup in which she was assisting me with in her department.

Customer service experience went well and found a new calogne to get for Valentine.

The managers need to get together to ensure that when employees are done for the day. They are able to get walked out. Within 5 minutes of clocking out.

First it started off at 2 today I went in hoping to get my brows done and the lady was on break well she comes back and there was a lady in front of me so I asked to be next. Then a guy comes in and asks how long and she put him in front of me! So left and just went home. Later that night I tried to call and set up a appointment I have been sitting on hold for twenty minutes!!

This place is a mess. They are out of a lot of products, displays are a mess, a lot of products have been opened and tested/used, you never know if you are getting brand new unopened product or something used. There are no employees on the floor to help customers. I have never been in an Ulta store as badly managed as this one.

Went in to buy a a few hair products. I was on my way to the restroom and saw that a couple managers were standing at the counter by the salon. I was appalled to hear one manager named Rebecca (I made sure to ask the cashier what her name was) badmouthing an employee to the other. Apparently this woman is the general manager. I found this incredibly unprofessional. I would not want to work there, and I won’t shop there again as long as this woman works there. If she talks behind her employees’ backs, there’s no telling what she says about customers.

I spend crazy money in this place because they have staff who are knowledgeable.

I love beauty products and make up just as much as any girly girl... but I honestly hate going to Ulta. I have gift cards... but Ive debated on using them online just so I dont have to deal with snobbery. Snobby little girls talking to each other and barely acknowledging the customers. I once went in with a $5 coupon... get to the register.. Im sorry, it doesnt work on THAT side of the store.... are you freaking kidding me? Uugghh.

Very poor signage for sales and horrible checkout personal. When I requested the free item with purchase, I was simply told Out by the cashier. When I asked for the manager, I was barked at....Why?! The manager went in the back to give me something and then had me wait. Not good, Ultra. Im thinking you need to get them some training.....Oh, btw, name of cashier is Crystal.

Booked an appointment on line to get a hair cut and color. Now my hair is short as it is, however, I didnt realize I was booking with the most expensive hair dresser there and he made that quite clear when I found out how much I was going to have to pay for his services. So here I go online book and appt. And it shows $153 or $163, something like that to get my hair done. They even called back to see what i wanted. So i go in, im early and so i wait. Finally get to the chair and tell the guy what Im wanting, he acts like hes not sure of himself which concerns me and then, yes then, he tells me its going to be close to $270.00. I hardly have any hair and your going to charge me that?. Oh hell to the no. Then he says im the most expensive one here. So beware. All of theyre prices are seperate pricing and really way over priced. I wont be back. Very disappointed.

One of the best Ulta’s ive been too. Thier staff was very attentive and helpful. With thier help and expertise I was able to find what I was looking for. I will be returning for future beauty needs :)
