Ive been going to this store for over 10 years based solely on the fact that its the closest one to my house. This place has been in steady decline, but that decline has accelerated in the past few years. Let me share my experience from 10AM this morning: I roll into the parking lot for a drink. I see the store manager and assistant manager having a cigarette by the dumpster. Nothing unusual. Theres another employee standing by the trash can, also smoking. I go inside and wait my turn at the soda fountain. Once finished, I went and stood in line. I was the 9th customer in line. It was backed up across the entire store to the beer cooler. Behind the counter was exactly 1 employee running a register. There was another in the back, making hot food. 5 employees at the store, 9+ customers in line. This isnt uncommon. Ive seen employees walk away from a line of customers to go spend 10 minutes to make themselves a cup of coffee. If you go in there at nearly any point from 3PM-11PM youre likely to find 1 person at the register and if theres another person working, theyre not actually working the register. Dont get me wrong, its really not the cashiers that are the problem. The store manager there is in charge of scheduling and training. The one theyve had for the past few years seems to spend more time smoking and out of town than actually doing her job. Lately Ive taken to driving past this store and going to Lincoln & Bradley for better service and cleanliness. I really miss the store next to Toro Loco.

Swiped my debit card, they declined it but cleared my account. Spoke to the cashier and showed proof they cleared my account. I did as the cashier asked and I called to speak with Heidi the following day. She told me shell make sure the cashier didnt do anything wrong but I need to call corporate. I called on December 1st and still have not recieved a call back.

Probably the worst place I have ever tried to get fuel and snacks. The staff are rude and have zero respect for personal space.

Bathrooms are constantly in poor condition. Don’t bother texting the number or the wall to let them know the bathrooms need cleaning because when you do you will get a message back saying the store number was not recognized. How convenient

Went in to buy cigarettes...they asked for ID and I happily showed them one (albeit that Im 53 years old), not good enough, they wanted my wifes ID as well, really? Need less to say they just lost a $60 sale and any future business...funny thing is Ive been a customer for 15 years and never been asked for both ids before...there is no state law requiring ids from all people present.

Went to Circle K to buy 4 24 oz. Cans of beer and a fifth of liquor. I ran into one of my cousins in the parking lot before walking in to the store. We held a conversation with each other (of course, since were relatives) from the parking lot, and into the store. I grabbed what I was there for and got in line. The lady behind the counter demanded to see both my ID and my 57-year old cousins because we were in the store talking for a long time. I asked her if she was serious and she said yes its the law. In my shocked and amazed stance, I pulled out my ID and stated to her that it is not the law. As she continued to say it was, I continued to state that it was not and that it was merely a store policy. As im taking my credit card out she refused to ring up my items and serve me because I didnt agree that it was the law. Not once did I refuse to comply, not once did I refuse to pay. She simply refused my service because I didnt agree with her. She said that she was the manager. If that is true, she will cause this company to lose a lot of money. I have every right to disagree with any employee who is wrong. I will never buy even a stick of gum from that place.

Horrible customer service. Asked for the right lid for my coffee and didnt even care to go look in the back for the right lid. Walked out the gas station with no lid. Please Fire them all besides Jo.
