Always been delicious for as long as I can remember. It’s very well taken care of and super nice! A must visit if you are nearby! My coffee was delicious and very well made!

We had a light breakfast here. The inside of the cafe was large and the outside seats were open, so it was a very cozy place.The coffee and muffin were nice!

I do believe that The Depot Coffee House is a very great place to have a local made coffee or beverage. And even some fellowship with those you desire to talk and hangout with. I love how its an old train station thats been modernized to the spec for a coffee shop. Its setup well with back seating outside being private and spacious. The coffee, its bomb, its awesome. Overall, on the best local spots in Urbana. My only qualm is how loud the music can get in there.

I called to place an order because I was very busy and didnt gave a whole lot of time to wait, however I promised my wife something from here for lunch. I was told that they werent very busy but that they dint do phone orders anymore. I then tried to explain to them that I was driving and therefore unable to place an order online. The associate then began to repeat, Im too busy to help you until I hung up. We used to get coffee two to three times a week, but will no longer be coming back because when I went in to order my Ruben and salad, there was no line. I then had to leave and come back because I had to get groceries.

In general, coffee over there is delicious. Barista Jodie made good coffee. Should try if you happen to be around.

I would say this is an Urbana treasure for sure. The historic building is worth the trip on its own.That being said, I also love their beverage options and have even been pleased with their breakfast choices. I love their muffins. Try one.The employees are always very nice and the line moves quickly. You can tell everyone who works there has a nice flow to their work.

First off the customer service is outstanding!!! The food is amazing, the coffee is phenomenal, the atmosphere is fantastic! We will happily drive an hour out here to enjoy The Coffee Depot! Thank you for a wonderful experience

What s delightful place. And great coffee, too. I had a double Expresso (perfect) and my wife had a latte, which she said, thats the way to do it right. And the shop has real atmosphere being an old depot.

This is always a reward stop on our bicycle ride from Springfield. Always delicious, especially the frozen vanilla latte. Always pleasant people to serve you.

This was my first experience with a coffee shop years ago when I grew up in the area. After having tried several other shops across Ohio, the Depot is definitely still near the top of my list of favorites. I am very happy to be able to order a Cortado and actually get a Cortado rather than a latte! I appreciate the attention to detail!

Great coffee. Great service. Expertly trained staff. Clean and quick service. I love stopping here everytime i go to urbana because its a unique one of a kind coffee house with a special flavor and atmosphere that just cant be replicated. The owner is a great person too really caring and creative with everything he does.

I loved the frozen mint matcha green tea I got here. I also got a make your own sandwich and it was fantastic. The girl who helped my family and I was very nice. Great atmosphere!! The only negative was not much seating.

They’ve become slow and the staff apathetic. When I tired to provide feedback I was given an excuse and didn’t even hear me out. I used to enjoy going there but won’t go back.

I moved to Urbanda Ohio a few months ago. A friend took me to the depot and now it is my place to go in town. The sandwiches are great and of course so is the coffee. The employees are always very polite, accommodating and efficient. Love the Reuben sandwich. heading there today to get my favorite sandwich.

What a cool place. Stopped in to see how they turned this old train depot into a coffee house. Amazing transformation and even better coffee and service. More lounge seating would be preferable but I cant have everything my way. Great job!

Our son is at Jeff Jordans wrestling camp this weekend.We went exploring and found this Gem. It was a great find for us. Some of the best coffee Ive had. Super friendly and inviting staff. The lady offered us fresh baked blue berry muffins. Which I got and it was the best Ive had. My wife use to have a coffee shop and she agreed it was a fantastic atmosphere and great coffee. The prices were unbelievably inexpensive for the quality you receive. Back home in southern Indiana you would pay double what we did. I cant say enough how great this place is and the people working there. Great job!

What a great cozy little coffee shop! Visited here one weekend randomly and its in an old train station. Great environment in and outside, outstanding muffins and coffee is good. I asked for a vanilla chai latte and I wouldnt have called it a chai but more like a latte but it wasnt bad! It takes a little while to get your drinks as only 1 or 2 people were working the day I went. Would def recommend.

Absolutely incredibly place for a cup of coffee and more. Visited from California a couple weeks ago and was really impressed. Great coffee, super friendly staff, and great food (Mediterranean sandwich was awesome!). Only regret, I didnt bring my bike! Next summer!!

Favorite coffee shop

A little bit of small town characteristics. Right along the Simon trail perfect stopping point between North Lewisburg and Springfield if your using the bike trail. The matcha smoothie is the best but so is their homemade cheesecake. Being an old train station they kept slot of the originality of the past along with a speckle of modernism. During certain times you can go in the caboose as well!

This place has a nice, rustic, laid back atmosphere. The coffee is great too. Great staff from my experience. The door here is also pretty good. This would be a great place for those people that do homework at coffee shops.

I love the coffee depot its suoer close to my home.and right bwside the bike trail im sure all their drinks are delish but i alway get their buckey drink its so so good its a coffee drink that taste like a peanutbutter milk shake u can gwt it frozen iced or just liquid frozen is best its git whip creak chockate thru it lots of pb they always have delish cheescake ove had some really good ones there tbey are kinda pricy but its worth it for a nice treat now and then..ans all the employess always are so nice they greet you whenu come in and say goodbye when u leave and make sure your happy with what they made. O they also have sandwiches and salads and biscuts muffins and cookies .if u havent been what you waitng for ? 💯💯💯🤘🤘👌👌👌

Old train depot turned into an awesome locally owned coffee shop. Depot Mocha, hot or blended is always a great choice. Also can customize with non-dairy options and sugar free syrups. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Conveniently located next to the bike path.

We saw this place as we were driving through town and I am so glad we stopped!! The drinks and food were terrific and I felt very well priced- and I stop at a lot of coffee shops!!! I don’t know if the lady who waited on us is the owner but it was very apparent she loved her job!! Her smile and friendliness were terrific. My kids enjoyed watching the birds and the bikers! The rail-cart and history were an added bonus!!

I stop at the Depot nearly every week for coffee. Sam is the best barista, she had remembered my “usual” drink after ordering it only a couple of times. Hopefully this historical location remains preserved for years to come. Many young men in the area came back from home from WW2 through this train depot, including some of my family members.

What could be more quaint than a coffee and sandwich shoppe in an classic ole railway depot???? Its beautiful, historical, and always bustling with all manner of folk. Some are cyclists on the Simon Kenton trail, some are local folk in for lunch, and some are business folk stopping as they pass through, as I often do. The coffee is absolutely great--far outshines Starbucks, in my opinion. Stop by, park there for your next bike ride on the trail, or have a lunch meeting--you wont be disappointed!

I highly recommend the coffee depot! The workers are all very helpful and as I am a practicing magician, it is one of the only places in town that will let me practice at their place. Overall even just as a customer I would have absolutely no complaints whatsoever and it is a big 5* for me!!!

First time there. Got the depot coffee drink. Its okay. Maybe Ill try a cold drink next time. See if they have carmel. Not really a mocha fan. But they were really professional. Place was very clean. And looked absolutely amazing inside! Plus you can watch them make the food.

I like the Depot. It is the only true coffee shop in Urbana that I know of. I drink frozen coffee and prefer the taste of the coffee with the flavor as a bonus, but their drinks are more on the flavored milkshake side with coffee so faint you cant really taste it. Great place to meet though!

A neat little place! An old railroad Depot that serves coffee drinks, sandwiches and confections. Extremely pleasant staff and a ton of ambiance if youre a railroad buff. Ill be going back again and again.

The coffee is great and reasonably priced. I really love the food and smoothies, as well as the coffee. My only complaint is that at the 4-6 time there are a lot of very loud people, none of which seem to order much. Maybe friends of the employees. I would still highly recommend this as a casual meeting place.

Came in on a weekday morning. No one in line and two staff Nicole and a male behind the counter. No one bothered to greet me despite not being busy. The staff continued their conversation while I stood at the register. Male finally comes over and asks for my order. I ask him a few questions about their blended selection and instead of explaining anything he points me to a menu. He then turns around and continues his conversation until hes ready to take my order.Upon ordering a breakfast sandwich, it was wrong. I tell the female the correct order and she acted so disgusted with me. I tell her if its going to be an issue I dont want it. She snidly remarks well the bacon is already cooking (in the microwave). Didnt taste good as the bacon was extremely hard. Over $10 for a coffee and croissant. Coffee is the only thing good here, but I think Ill stick to coffee expressions in Springfield since they carry the same brand and every encounter has been a pleasant experience as the staff is always extremely nice. Will not be back to this place!
