Bought 3 remotes for myself and family members worked good at beginning had problem with mine they were supposed to get me a price to replace and they never got back to me I ended out calling and finally someone helped me out only to get a new remote and now they cant pair it with my vehicle so they were supposed to order me a new antenna and again been over a month and still havent heard back I had viper remote starter in my other vehicle for 16years and no problems

Had a complete sound system installed in my 2010 Street Glide within last two weeks. Process was seamless, they had a list of packages to choose from and James walked me through the parts and different options. A week later my bike was in their shop. Went from being unable to hear the radio at highway speeds with the stock speakers to hearing the vocals and beat clearly with the custom system. I’ll be going back in a few weeks to add more audio to the bike.

I went to ACT upset from Best Buy because they would not fix my remote starter that I had Best Buy install, ACT took care of me they fixed my issue within 10 mins free of charge. Great customer service and I will for sure be going there in future for all my audio and car needs.

K my car in because the stereo was not working. They said it could not be fixed. They noted the wiring was not installed correctly and said they could fix it. It had to be rerouted through the fire wall. They were also asked to check my reception. They could find the problem. I had make an appointment for the wiring. I prepaid, that day. It was 203.00. They informed me i needed a new stereo. The cost was 253.00 installed. Picked up my car. Charged 353.00, and no reception, still. When I picked my car up, they forgot to reconnect my power for the convertible. When they checked the fuses under the hood, they left the cover off and slammed the hood shut on it. I took matters into my own hands. The only problem was it needed a new a new antenna. I fixed the problem for 20.00. The old stereo they claimed didnt work, does. During all this I asked for a cost for a back up cam seeing that the stereo came with a hook up for it. They quoted me 150.00 for the cam and 130.00 installation. I bought a cam on Amazon for 30.00 and did it myself.Act Audio is the perfect name. They ACT like they know what theyre doing. Dont. Use anyone else. I guess my review was correct. They never responded.

If you drive a Tesla, go here for tints. Joseph is an absolute pro.I was really nervous at first tinting my car but all of the glass makes the car super hot, Joseph explained the process for me, he loves his craft and his quality shows.these tints help keep me cool and have a lifetime warranty!

I got a remote starter installed in October 2019 for my 2017 Hyundai Elantra. I got the two way remote which has a mile of range and works great. It also lets me know if my car started up. The only thing is it sometimes get activated when my keys are in my pocket, other than that it works great.

I scheduled a tinting appointment for Saturday, October 24th at 10:30am. ACT Audio called me two days before stating their tinter would not be in that morning and we needed to reschedule. Cool, no problem. We rescheduled for the 14th of November at 9am. Here I am, on the 11th of November and I get a call from ACT Audio and they tell me their tinter has quit and their new employee can no longer do Saturday appointments. I get it, employees can be rough. I say I hate to be that guy, but what can you do for me now that youve cancelled the appointment twice in a row. Their response? We cant really do anything. We dont make a lot on tinting. We do it basically a service. While this is not an emotional review on my behalf, I feel this is bad business practices and if you were considering getting your tinting done at ACT Audio, I would look elsewhere. Unless you want your appointment cancelled. Twice.

Had a key less entry and remote starter installed in my brand new truck everything was fine until I hooked up my brand new snowplow and the hand controller wouldnt work. I took it back to the shop that installed the plow and they found the power wire for the controller was off could have been an accident but the wire was neatly coiled and stuffed up under the dash most likely will not use this place again

Friendly and helpful, helped diagnose and repair a intermittent audio wiring issue in a vehicle I recently picked up. I had believed the issue to be a bad ground or moisture build up in the drivers side loom, but it turned out a previous owner tried to install aftermarket equipment but installed the speakers rather shoddily. ACT got them sorted out the right way, and now the audio system sounds significantly better as well as working reliably. An unexpected added plus!

Me, both my brothers, and one of my friends all got our radios and subs installed by these professionals and they still work and sounds great years later! Clearly very knowledgeable and their customer support is second to none. Recently my brother had an issue with his speakers they installed not sounding quite right after his settings got messed up and he drove down and they got it fixed for him in minutes on the spot for free! And they dont just throw them in and send you on your way - they tune it until they get it the way you want it, if thats not great customer service, then I dont know what is! Great group of guys that are dedicated to making sure you get what you want. I came in to get a receiver installed in my car, after purchasing my own equipment. They were able to work with me and install everything. When I wanted changes made, they took the time to fix things. Come here if you want a new aftermarket receiver installed professionally!

I brought my 2012 Cruze in after a different shop did a chop job Installing Focal speakers. I brought my car in to fix the steering wheel controls, have sound deadening and fast rings added, as well as remounting the rear deck and door speakers and fixing the the radio wiring that was left with open wires and wire nuts behind the radio. In short they an amazing job fixing everything and with the tune and time alignment they did and sound deadening in the doors my sound system sounds 10x better and completely clean. They took pictures of the doors before and after and one of the technicians even sat in my car with me and went through everything I needed to know about my radio and what they did even after closing time. High class people who really care about their clients and the work they do!

They put together a great package for my truck. Did a sweet install. When I came back with a little issue (loose wire/door/window design hazard) they were able fix it on the spot without an appointment. They will be my go to place from now on for all my car audio needs.

I stopped in to purchase a replacement remote starter but the salesman thought I might simply need a repair. Surprise! There was a switch beneath the dashboard that had simply been turned off. Thank you so much !!1/11/16Now 4 years later I went to Act Audio to have batteries replaced in the remote starter fobs. The tech found one or more of the fobs required a repair. He completed the repairs and replaced the batteries while I waited.What wonderful customer service !

I went to Act audio to replace a head unit wire that was bad and that was actually covered by the manufacture. Installer and owner Adam Thomas said that it would be $25.00 to replace the wire. I left and called the manufacturer of the device. They explained to me that I was not liable to pay nothing to have this wire replaced Act audio was called back by manufacturer to replace wire. I called Act audio and rescheduled an appointment for early next morning when I arrived Adam stated he will not be able to work on my vehicle until after 3pm that day. BE AWARE this facility is unprofessional and is not honest BE AWARE!!!

I went in with little to no knowledge of what to look for/what to buy and for what reason on purchasing a sound system for my car. I stopped by ACT Audio to look at speakers and to talk to someone about installation. I wanted to install the radio myself and they gave me all the info needed to do so, they even made me a wire harness for free before I even purchased a thing. I am use to businesses that charge you through the nose before doing anything nice for you. They are also a vendor that sells Focal Speakers and Act Audio sells them at a very competitive price.

I had these guys install a sub and kicker in my car. Being almost a year later, Im noticing that they wired the whole car wrong. If I have my rear window defroster on, the radio wont come through. My front left speaker comes in and out and will only come back on when I got the unlock button for my door lock. I really want it fixed but I moved so now I have to pay someone more money to fix this

I searched locally for a place to have a new sound system installed in my truck. I am particular about having someone work on my vehicles. After visiting several shops, I could not find an installer I felt good about. I read some good reviews about ACT audio and decided to check them out. I was quickly helped by a professional who was familiar with my vehicle and what he could recommend to solve my problems. I was able to get a new touchscreen stereo, Bluetooth phone connection, XM radio,Ipod connection and a back-up camera. They were also able to connect it all to my existing steering wheel controls. The last two places I went could not. They were also able to customize some of the functionality of each button. I had my new system installed within 24 hours. They also programmed my new system to all of my previous pre-sets and set up my phone connection. I would highly recommend ACT and will use them for any of my future audio purchases. Great company. ACT audio of Vernon CT has it together. Had work done on a previous car back two years ago by action auto sound in Newington. Horrible Horrible Horrible - they dented my car. I spent two thousand on the audio system and felt the system itself was good. As they say you dont know your eating dog food if you never had Filet Mignone. Well ACT is Filet!! I was there recently. Have a brand new Camaro. Felt the system was great and just wanted a bass boost. They installed a amp and bass box and HOLY SH**!! I have to turn my bass on my car stereo to 0 so its not too much. I cant believe the sound change. Only cost under $400. Highly recommended. They refused to sell me things I did not need too. I have to apologize to the owner for expelling 30 feet of colon in the showroom stinking it up horribly.

I had a Viper alarm with a remote starter installedin my car in Manchester on Broad st a couple years ago well when the remote died I asked them if I bought a new you how much to program it?I was told $45.00, really? Ok so I then took the remote toA.C.T Audio in Vernon and told them I had a new remote that needed to be programed.First he took my old one and tried everything to fix it then when that wouldnt work he took the new one out side 2 minutes later and Voila its done.He hands me back my keyes and thats it. They gave me a cash discount price, set up the install within 2 days and did the install in the time frame promised. They packed up my old equipment in case I ever change to a new vehicle.
