You know. The usual. Its DQ! You generally know what youre gonna get product wise. This (in general) is a N American fast food joint that has managed to triumph the test of time, without messing anything up too majorly, or making too many unnecessary changes.Tried and true.NO ONE will ever trump their ice cream cakes!! You bring one to a party and you KNOW it will be appreciated!

This is a good place that makes me feel like a kid again. I appreciate the good work that they have done of following the rules during COVID and ensuring that everyone is safe. Thanks for a good service and I will visit again and again. :)

Not a good experience at this location and the buns for my grand childrens burgers were stale. You cant sit inside or outside here and the staff was a little rude in our opinion. Our first and last visit! Hope you have a better experience than we did.

Price has gone up, no more $7 meals.No dine in, no washroom

We had a craving for a blizzard so came here. About $6.70 so i expected something with good quality. Instead we got a really wet and runny blizzard and the girl who made it for us didnt even do the gravity test like how they used to. Although the taste of the blizzard was ok, i doubt we will ever come back

Still no dine in and no tables available outside either. The service was also pretty rude, and the girl working here had a bad attitude, ended up having to eat my ice cream in the alleyway because there was nowhere to sit... disgusting....

The staff was awesome and accommodating since one of the coupons wasnt working on the app nonetheless they provided good service and food was hot and fresh

This Is an edit from a previous post about service and quality of this location. Honestly I want to give this location -5 stars if I could.This location really needs to train the staff better especially when it comes to promotions as I literally walked out and wont be back after the staff here failed on multiple levels. The staff here made a mistake and instead of getting manager to fix their mistake they attempted to over charge for items after I made multiple attempts with not only noise level but very clear language barrier. I made had explained in great detail that i cant just enter items more than once from the dq app which is not good as this is common knowledge to public why this eludes the employees is unknown but this place really needs an upgrade of every single term of the word the outside and inside is dirty be prepared this location has no inside or outside seating currently which is understandable during the pandemic however cleaning restaurant while open to public should be higher on priorities list after my experience today I wont be back and honestly I say anyone that must have dq go to the other locations astheg are much higher in the quality of their service to the public

I ubereats once in a while and I liked their chicken strip baskets since I was a kid. I usually order from the closer location on Kingsway but this time I didnt check and ordered from this Victoria location. I ordered the 6 pc strip with basket fries. The only thing that came was the fries themselves. Nothing else. Good work.

DQ Dilly bars....yummy 😋 Dilly bar is my favourite...what’s yours? The restaurant have a limited number of seat in tables. On a hot summer day patrons can sit outside to enjoy DQ ice cream or burger. Usually there’s only one cashier working so it may he slow when there’s a lineup. My gripe is that sometimes the tables are dirty and needs to be cleaned ever so often by staff.

Some of the workers have attitude. Specifically the girl with the silver dyed hair. DQ needs to hire better people! Even rolled her eyes at me!

Food is always good, and the staff is super friendly. We love the strawberry cheese cake blizzard cake!

Small but very functional. The crews were quick on their feet. I rarely ever go to DQ but my mini blizzard was a little soft/melted. I still enjoyed it though. :)

Yummy ice cream! We got the strawberry cheesequake blizzard cake. It is so nice and refreshing and not overly sweet. Would order that again.

1. No bloated menu. So the same burgers, fries, onion rings and sundaes only got improved on.2. Ordering and paying on the app was flawless, and the feature to hold off on preparing your order until you get there works like a charm.3. The current owners of the Victoria Dr Vancouver location that I frequent are fast (fast-food after all), and know what their doing in regards to prepping an order. Take a hint MacDonalds

Suggest the one at Fraser and 41st rather than Victoria and 33rd. At Fraser location, their food is better and you can dine in. Dont know why they dont have dine in at Victoria Dr after a year.

The older male that is working (maybe the owner or the manager?) there definitely has some bad attitude. You can feel it from the way he answers your questions. I dont know how he is going to train his employees when he himself is not setting an good example of providing good customer service! Not expecting much from a fast food chain, but at least not being rude to customers ?!I also hope DQ will consider taking out the limit one coupon per visit t&c.

Went into Dairy Queen around 8:30 pm the place was quiet and ordered a large dipped cone. When I received my order to my surprise the cone was tiny and they barely filled the cone to capacity and was clearly shocked on how cheap they were on their serving size. not what you would expect for over $5 for Ice milk.

What you would expect from DQ. Can get quite busy here.

I like DQ but this location doesnt enforce covid mask requirements at all. Theres been multiple people here not wearing masks on multiple occasions and therefore its not safe to visit. Do not recommend.

I found that their Portions are a bit too Small for the Price You Pay.

Parking lot is a little confusing, they do not answer their phone when you call, and they dont seem to follow the Canadian menu on their website. I dont think I expect much from international chain businesses but sometimes it seems they cant do that. Although this is the best DQ in the neighbourhood 😳

Ive been going to this DQ in our neighborhood since I was a child. Definitely has gone down since I remember. Staff seem to be helpful and friendly enough. However, a mini Blizzard is now over $5, a small over $6?! Thats insane, and it feels like the cups have gotten smaller. The last two times weve been here, one of the blizzards is basically vanilla ice cream, one was a birthday treat this time, so he was disappointed. At this point the decision will be, lets go buy a tub of ice cream from the grocery store for less than a small would cost or go to DQ out of pure laziness.

Its about this time of the year that I like to go for a hike up Mt. Victoria Dr to check out the Dairy Queen near the East 33rd Trail. Its beautiful this time of year, but the thing that is probably the biggest attraction is the fact that in that tiny micro-climate, they experience Blizzards year-round. Nature truly is amazing.

Showing up at 845 at night to be told were out of hot food gets this location a zero for customer service. Still plenty of customers before and after me who definitely did not stay.

Very rude and unprofessional service, used a coupon, then came back later in the day to order something else with another coupon and wouldnt allow, said was trying to cheat the system. says one coupon one per visit and not one per day. probably this location would make double the money if they had a better manager and franchise owner, guess they are making money still so they just dont give a damn

I bought the Cheeseburger and fries deal. Burger was cold, bun was dry. Fries were hot but undercooked.

I went there to get a last minute birthday cake, and the cake decorator took less than 5 minutes to have a special message ready on the cake for me. Unfortunately didn’t get the name of the lady who helped in the cashier but she was able to get an extra candle for me without charging anything. 5 starts the staff is super friendly and very helpful!

This Dairy Queen has been at this location at 34 Ave., & Victoria drive for a long time. I grew up in Vancouver and this was the go to place for my brothers and sister. It has been years since I am at this location, but it is amazing how time seem to have stand still. When I was in the neighbourhood, I had to drop by and let,s just say. I was not disappointed. Everything is as I remember them when I was a teenager.

Great service and value: I ordered a combo with a blizzard and they offered to bring it over once I was done with my burger.

Dairy Queen. Good but not fantastic. The soft ice cream is nice but I always find it a bit too soft at this location and the chocolate on the dip cone is super thin. For the extra cost go to earnest unless you just gotta have soft.

Has grill & chill selection and $6.00 meal deals like cheese burger with fries and soft drink including ice cream for dessert for $6.00 plus tax. A good deal. NOTE small parking lot on the side. Otherwise limited street parking. Staff is friendly & efficientAlso check out the great ice cream cakes for brithdays and special occasions.

The man how owns the Dairy Queen is an outstanding member of the the community. Help local single patent by giving the little ones a treat for free when they go there. Also employs and trains youths from the community. Family owned and oriented and run. The hole family pretty much has been working even grandpa makes Billy bars and such. I know this because I can see him from the counter!!😉

I brought my kids here for a special treat and we were not disappointed. We got mini blizzards and the kids really enjoyed seeing them being made. The fellow at the counter was very friendly and although it was quite busy, he managed to serve us quickly and efficiently. The parking is a bit tricky to get in to from Victoria drive and you have to exit from the alley side of the parking lot. There is not a lot of seating, so it is a good idea to get your food to go.

Clueless incompetents. My sister and 13 year old nephew wanted to stop in briefly to get 2 burgers and 2 blizzards to go. Pretty straightforward, and the place was relatively quiet at 615 on a Sat night. However, the two teenage girls behind the counter were either ill-trained or clueless. In the 20 years Ive ordered banana split blizzards around Canada, Ive never had any DQ employee attempt to put a lid on an already overflowing blizzard, with much of it slopping all over the side of the cup, of course. My two year old son even knows better when a lid clearly isnt going to fit. Perhaps the girl was stressed about overcharging my sister $1, as she asked if we wanted a larger size instead. I pointed out that perhaps she could just refund the dollar, despite the order being paid on credit card. This seemed to both confuse and stress her, especially now that a line up was starting to build because she was taking so much time with our order. The other girl seemed equally as incompetent, and even though we couldnt see who was cooking in back, it seems the Three Stooges were working the night shift as they also screwed up my nephews burger. He just asked for ketchup and mustard. Nothing else. The girl asked if he wanted cheese on it. She just didnt get it. And neither of the two burgers were what he ordered. We ended up walking out while she was trying to figure out what to do about the $1 overcharge. All this took about 20 minutes! If you want fast food, then stay away from here, especially if you want food that you ordered.

Pretty average run of the mill neighbourhood DQ with its own parking on the side. The Blizzards and Peanut Buster parfait hit the spot when you get that craving. They have a good selection of Ice cream cakes that you can get customize with your choice of words on it. Friendly efficient service.

It doesnt open until 1400 each day. That kills it right away.

Can be very busy, especially around dinner time. Food is served quickly, though. Young staff are generally friendly. Birthday cakes can be ordered with any design since they use a special machine to project/trace images onto the cake for easy decorating.

Worst customer service ever, i ordered one birthday cheese cake on Sep 27 and have many questions, but the server tried to be in hurry, not patient, and even having attitude. on her face. We came for a buddys birthday looking to get a cake cut it here and enjoy the cake selection. We got told we Dont have a knife, and we cant cut it for you either.... Why are you guys prompting BAD hand washing hygiene to kids!!! What ever happened to, wash your hands for 2 mins?Lots of kids come here for fun, good, sticky hand ice cream eating. Why do you ONLY have COLD running water in your washroom? Further, the tap only runs for 5secs with a 2 sec reset pause! To boot, the water gets too cold really fast for hand washing, especially so after eating ice cream!

Blizzards are awesome - even the small sizes are bigger than they seem.Theres a small parking lot right beside the restaurant. There are cameras and the owners are diligent about people who park and run across for produce or dim sum.

Clean and fast services. The people are friendly. They will even bring your order to your table. This is a plus for a fast food place

Okay first of all when you walk into this place in immediately smells like a toilet. Completely uninviting overwhelming scent. The staff did not seem to care that we arrived at all, were arguing with one another and got our order wrong. Ill probably return because its close to my house but I would not recommend this place for anyone. Also because of the neighborhood theres often sketchy people inside. Not a friendly environment

Food was good but service was a bit slow. Our orders were brought to us. The air conditioning was broken and we were sweating while eating. Overall was good but could of been a lot better.

The staff here is excellent and the food is always fresh and hot. Ive been to many DQ locations and this one is the BEST! Try for yourself and youll see! :-)

Its dairy Queen... Hot eats, cool treats... guilty pleasures. A mushroom Swiss and Oreo Blizzard, is worth it every now and then.

Always great desserts only issue is that the tables are usually left uncleaned for a while and biggest issue is that they pre cook the burger patties and when you order a need burger they throw the whole burger ( buns and condiments) into the microwave leaving you a scalding hot burger with even hotter condiments (ketchup mustard ECT..)
