I had a good experience at Daniels. They fixed my 54 rider, replaced the clutch with a used one, air cleaner and sharpened the blades for around $200. Everything works great. It took around 10 days. I did have a little trouble getting them on the phone but I can live with that. I am happy and would recommend them based on my experience.

I shouldnt even giving him one star. The worst place to get anything repair . They will say one thing and when you come back to pickup your lawnmower, he saying another ..find another place to take your lawnmower.

I had used them once before and was satisfied. I called last week about two Spindles for my Troy Built Motors. He quoted me $49.00 per spindle. I was a little reluctant because they cost 29.00 to purchase them from the manufacturer online. But since I support Small Businesses, I sent my 86 year old father to pick them up from Cuero. When he arrived, they charged him $7995 for EACH spindle. Plus told him he needed a bolt kit $10.00 for three bolts we already had. When my father returned I asked why he paid that much. He replied they were non responsive. I called the shop to ask why I had been quoted one price and charged another. The Mechanic told me HIS BOSS quoted me that price. I asked to talk with his boss who told me the $49.95. Because I would have purchased them from Troy Built otherwise. His boss refused to get on the line and I overheard him say Thats OEM and tell him he should have ordered it online and screw off. Some Business Man. I will get my $60.00 dollars back eventually. He took advantage of an elderly person and that is a shame. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOKED OPERATION.

I believe every negative thing said about these guys. Dealt with them twice personally .paid 500 for riding mower. Used it 4 times. Never worked again. Thought stuff happens so took few years Troy bilt deck to have them assembly new spindle and belt on. End up keeping my deck and exchanged it for one they had assembled already. Took home. Few days later after rain cleared. Went to sharpen blades. They were half rusted away. Then made one pass thru yard belt snapped. Thats when I noticed bearing on one spindles bad.Told guy was out for week. The second week guy told me it was sold as is. And I took to long to bring back. NO ONE SHOULD GO THERE. SERIOUSLY. NEVER. THEY WILL SCREW U. I REPEAT. THEY ONLY REAL EXPERTISE IS IN THE PROPERLY FnU OVER

They charge you $20.00 to check out exactly what is wrong with your equipment. If you let them fix your equipment they supposedly take off the 20.00 dollars off your bill. They only took $10.00 off my bill and also did not give my husband his change which was 3 dollars and some change. Will not go back to this place of business.

Scam artist!! I took my riding mower due to engine bogging down when mowing. Asked them to clean carbs. Three weeks later finally got a hold of someone only to tell me rods were knocking and now wouldnt start. This was not the case when I brought it in. Ran like a top. Owner tells me I need a new engine and offers to buy my mower for $100 this is a 2700$ husqvarna 54 cut with 100 hrs on it. I was irate. Went to pick it up and of course wouldnt start without starting fluid looked at fuel filter and was empty. Turns out you need ful to start it put gas in it and fired right up. I guess 100$ was a good deal to them. Crooks!!!

Im not sure what problem James had but I have taken lawn mowers, weed eaters and chainsaws to Daniels and always been very pleased with the quality of the work and with the price. I would recommend them to anyone!

Small operation, but these guys know their stuff! I havent had any big problems with them yet, and they are relatively fast at product turnaround.

Still waiting on my gas powered harsqvana cut off saw ($1200) that I took there over a year ago. Paid over 330 dollars for nothing. I go back periodically and still there saw isnt ready. He waited on parts for over 6 months then I got it back and it didnt work. Then he waited on parts for another six months. Then when the parts arrived he still neglects to put them on. All the while my saw is taken apart exposed to dirt and dust, and the pieces I hope he still has to put back together. I wouldnt recommend taking your 1200 dollar gasoline cut off saw to him.

These guys know their stuff...but one guy is just plain rude....he dont know how to treat return customers....smh

They say one price that can get it done then say another but there a bunch of rip offs and it doesnt take more money to soaking a carbarater my advise to everyone not take your mowers chainsaw or anything to them there are more shops out there you just need to know where they are

One of the employees that has worked there for several years was rude when he first started and he was rude today. I went to pick up my push mower and the first thing I heard from the employee was, Come on, go ahead, what do you need. I was surprised the owner would allow his customers to be treated that way. I left the business and I wont be going there again.
