Only had my 2021 LS500 for maybe 3 weeks before I had a tire blow out. Car was towed to the dealership and when I picked up my vehicle my rim had significant damage. To their surprise I had taken pictures of the rim as it was being loaded onto the flat bed tow truck and there wasn’t any damage whatsoever. The dealership has the balls to ask me what did I hit like it’s my fault? I will be consulting my attorney today.

So let me just say I will never buy a car from priority Lexus again. I spoke with a sales manager at Priority Lexus Virginia Beach regarding the car I purchased on Saturday, 01/16/2021. I reviewed the carfax and everything appeared to check out satisfactorily. However, when I downloaded the Lexus app it displays in detail the tech notes and recommendations for the car. The tech who serviced the car recommended several repairs that were not mentioned to me or completed by Priority Lexus. I was not provided the common courtesy of revealing what was known about the vehicle. This is very disturbing when the vehicle has received all services at Priority Lexus in Virginia Beach. They intentionally kept this information from me. Had I known about this before purchasing the car my decision making would have been very different. When this discrepancy or lack of full disclosure of known information was presented to the manager the response was the offer of a complimentary alignment. This is unacceptable considering the tech recommended an entire list of repairs which included new tires. I also spoke with another manager who agreed and understood why is upset but chose not to do anything. Stating that if they did the repairs it would be on my dime or they would add it into the price of the car. Instead of feeling joy over my purchase, I feel cheated and saddened that I trusted the salesperson to provide accurate information so I could make an informed decision. Unfortunately, Im not a satisfied customer and felt the sales team will stoop to whatever level needed to make a sale.
Andrew my service writer and my mechanic Richie Chrisman were outstanding again as always. ANDREW called my service agreement company and got approval for service well after expired time. First visit, being new to the area, needed a new battery. I received a call as I pulled into the service area about a family emergency. Service managers Mike and Christopher and their mechanics got me out of there in less than half an hour. GREAT SERVICE, especially for a brand new customer! Beginning of a long relationship.
Don’t trust the service department now that Priority owns the dealership! Had an oil change and safety inspection and was told car was fine. Returned a few weeks later for a recall item (I’d put maybe 200 mikes on the car) and was approached by an employee who told me he’d measured the tread on my tires and while they didn’t “need” replacement they could potentially be unsafe. The same tires that were fine a few weeks earlier. When I thanked him and told him I buy tires at Costco he proceed to tell me reasons why I might not want to buy tires there. This is a sales tactic you’d expect at a run down used car lot. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the tires. Trying to sell a customer something he doesn’t need to address a problem that doesn’t exist and discrediting a reputable competitor in the process is disgusting.

It didn’t feel very welcoming when I got here...it felt more like a what do you want environment? I asked about the price for my oil change and tire rotation being so high and was told that’s Just what it is. Ok so I’ll never come back here again. I’ll just go to Firestone. They know how customer service works. Just because you have A Lexus doesn’t mean it can’t be handled correctly at another repair place. It’s surprising you don’t offer military discounts in a military town....lol! Good day, god bless.
Very disappointed they dont participate in Priorities for Life from other dealerships like every other Priority dealership does. That is a huge selling point from Priority. I hate to travel all the way to Chesapeake from Virginia Beach, when Priority Lexus is just down the street. This should be addressed.

Mixed bag w/Charles Barker Lexus. I purchased a 2015 RX350 back in March 2019. Only had to bring it in for service twice (Lexus awesome!!) However each time I get the car back w/grease marks on the drivers side foot/door jamb. First time they came out to me to pick up and clean vehicle but to have happen again??? Shame on you Charles Barker!! The ball is being dropped somewhere and think you need to reevaluate your service dept. This is unacceptable and I am seriously thinking about taking my car elsewhere for service. The Certified 2 year plan is not enough to keep me with you. Sorry you do not value me as a Lexus customer as I am sure you do w/your MB and Maserati customers. Jeremy was great as advisor and happy work covered under a warranty but disappointed in condition of vehicle when job completed.

This review is specifically for their service department, particularly the service writer ***A. R.*** for his *extreme* lack of professionalism. Please see timeline below:1. Arrived 5 minutes before my service appointment. Typically, I wait in the vehicle for a attendant/service writer to meet me to discuss what needs to be done service-wise. This concept seems to be foreign to Charles Barker Lexus as there didnt seem to be any service writers out front. I witnessed 2 customers who pulled in after me run around and flag down whomever they can. For such a premium brand, this is low budget behavior. Ive seen better service at Honda, Toyota, and Subaru dealerships.2. When I finally caught his attention, not even a hello or anything and didnt even get out of his seat. A minor annoyance. Rather than discussing my needs, he just hands me a paper and points to where I need to sign. Again, a minor annoyance but what if I had other service needs that needed to be addressed? Thats lost revenue for Charles Barker Lexus.3. While waiting for my car, I noticed there were other service writers going to each customer in the waiting area and detailing what was done, might need to be done and even the state of the car. The service writer I dealt with felt it was appropriate to call my name and announce my car was ready and proceeded to walk away.4. While paying, I had noticed that the service fees werent entirely correct. The cashier asked me to discuss this with A. R.. When I walked into his office to discuss this, he didnt bother to even look at me and audibly sighed. Again, not the type of attitude nor service I expect with a premium brand.This will likely be the last time I bring any vehicle to Charles Barker Lexus.In fact, you can likely take your Lexus vehicle to a Toyota dealership for service (same work, lower rates, better customer experience)! Id also like to mention that there are quite a few reputable independent mechanics who do the same work (if not better) at much lower rates than Charles Barker Lexus.
My service tech (Lori) gets 5 stars for sure! But my rating of 2 stars is in general. They (the Service Dept) just give off an aura that they could care less about you or why you are there! Ive always had that vibe and if there were another Lexus dealership in the immediate vicinity thats were I would go!! Oh the customer service Department is great too! Service Department.....sucks..Ugh!!
They worked on my car, which took an entire week. Then I had to take it back because of the same concerns. Instead of listening to my concerns, they asked me,if I was driving down a bumpy road. Even the mechanic body language showed issues with my concern. They agreed to a loner car and finally after,checking, they discovered that they were wrong. Another week went by for,me to get my car,back. They then tried to charge me for the leased car.
Had good experience in purchasing my new Gx460. Salesman knew all aspects of the vehicle. Hoping the service department is just as memorable.

I got my car serviced here and they were super helpful. I was able to use the business center without interruption and my loaner SUV was a newer model of my RX 350. I would recommend this dealership for service if you have a Lexus.

I stopped in at Charles Barker Lexus on Virginia Beach Blvd. in 2003, looking for a new car. I had been out running errands with a friend of mine, and I looked at the IS300. It was new on the market, sleek, and sporty. I walked around the car, and looked for an associate to assist me. I was ready to make a purchase there and then, but I couldnt get help. The salesmen snubbed me as if they were too busy to help, and there were only two other people on the whole lot. I tarried around for a few minutes, and then realized that I was not dressed like the other two potential customers, and we left. That weekend, my wife and I purchased a 2003 Toyota 4 Runner Limited with the V-8 from Checkered Flag Toyota. I have been going to Checkered Flag for all my vehicles since. They have taken me seriously every time I went to the lot.
I experienced a 5 Star visit every request was performed to perfection i called this morning for an appointment and within three hours I was home.

I received a phone quote of $400 to repaint front hood and $150 to replace bra on my Lexus. When I took car over to firm up price and time to do the work, I received a quote of $900. The rep didnt acknowledge the price discrepancy. Charles Barker service rep admitted to the mistake but didnt feel obligated to honor the original quoted price. Beware of Charles Barker because the business doesnt honor its price quotes, I would rather do business with reputable companies.

Several years ago I brought in my wifes 250 in after the doors started to disintegrate to due a fault that was identified with the plastic by Lexas. We tried to get it fixed but they said it it was out of warranty. Im very disappointed in your service. In the future please fess up and resolve issues that were made in your manufacturing process for the customer.
