Horrible experience here. a white lady with a blue mole piercing near her nose and blonde neck or shoulder length hair was very rude over the simple fact that i had asked for a sample of chocolate cheesecake fudge and she had gave me pecan and said that all the fudge taste the same. so i said “we asked for chocolate cheesecake and what if someone has nut allergies and you gave us the wrong flavor?” she then proceeded to argue that she heard chocolate pecan. then got angry and mad at me while i was being calm. when i left the store she produced ed to say “never come in my store again” the picture is of the store branding

The store was super clean (and smelled SO good) when we went in today, and the lady working behind the counter was nice and helpful. The candy is expensive (like everything else on the beach) but its not nasty. It tastes like SUGAR....because it IS sugar. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Sugar kingdom is one option for sugar cravings of all ages. The ice cream 🍨 and chocolate Fudge are one of the best options and the ambience and options are plenty. There is no reason to dislike unless you are diabetic or hate Sweet. The price is not that bad. For 3 to 4 bucks we can get plenty of variety. Kids will definitely love this place. But have control on over buying. Overall this is not a bad place for occasionally buying.

Do not buy the fudge! Bought vanilla fudge last night and it tastes like plastic. The girl behind the counter was new, understandable, but she had no idea what to do so she just turned around and acted like I wasnt there til a 10 or 12 year old boy helped me. The store was nice but I wish I spent my money on fudge elsewhere.

Honestly I wouldnt mind paying highway robbery prices on candy for the experience of being in the candy shop at the ocean front with the kids but the candy isnt even close to being good. Not even being picky about candy her. They could go buy out the entire candy section at the dollar store and empty into their containers and the candy would be exponentially better. Ever piece of candy tastes the same. Like plain sugar. The chocolate is meh. The store is clean and cute though!

Don’t waste your time in this candy store. Very few displays had pricing. Many bulk candy containers were empty. Messy and dirty. Disorganized. I purchased a bottle of coke. I was unable to break the seal on the bottle. I am a large male of average strength. I have never been unable to open a bottle of soda. I asked the manager if she had anything behind the counter to help open the bottle. She just stared at me with a sarcastic look and stated “I have nothing to open the bottle”. I asked if she had a napkin or paper towel so I could get a better grip on the bottle. She said “I have every confidence you can open the bottle” with a very surly manner of speech. I told her I was going to exchange it with a different bottle in the cooler. She said I could not exchange the bottle or get a refund. I attempted to open the cooler to exchange the bottle. She ran over to me and hit my arm as I was opening the door. She then ordered me out of the store. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Stay away from this establishment.

I thought this place was really cool! They have all sorts of candy and chocolate. But, what I liked best was that it wasnt just a candy store. There are plenty of souvenirs and gifts here to select from as well. The employees are kind and were wearing masks. They have the best selection of rock candy I have ever seen. Candy bins were a little messy though, and I think some extra sanitary precautions are needed, now that were in the middle of a global pandemic. I suggests gloves and hand sanitizer stations at the self serve candy bins. :)

Tried a wide mix of different candies from this shop and was disappointed in the end by the poor quality of the candy as most of it lacked good flavor. Was also asked to rush with my choices on my first visit because the staff wanted to close in 2 minutes. I would have spent more $. I will not return.

Everything is overpriced and one of the ladies did not wear gloves when scooping ice cream for others. However, her trainee did. Nice cool place but same items are $5 - $10 cheaper in other beach stores.

Dont bring your kids, unless you will let them get some candy. All sorts of sweet concoctions. Young and mature will ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE.

Very expensive, unorganized, and unsanitary. Selection of candy is alright at best, most of it tastes the same but just has different shapes and colors.Youre supposed to use tongs/scoops for the candy, but theyre over the place and anybody could touch the candy with their hands without any problem. Candy is very unorganized, looks like they just put it out without a thought or care in the world.Really needs scales over the store in order to weigh your candy bag. You could very easily get more than you wanted to pay for and cant do anything about it.Caught them at opening time. They had a full trash can next to the candy bins.

Its decent at most far from great. Nothing like what I saw online. Didnt have anything including napkins which is sad. Dont see myself coming back again.

I just bought $30 in jelly beans. They are absolutely disgusting. They taste like syrup, and not even good syrup. They literally stink up the entire room they are in even within a zip loc bag. The owners wont answer the phone, they wont respond to messages, and they dont show their face. The store policy is no refunds or exchanges. I get it, but for real, if your product is disgusting, fix it!

The chocolate we got there was bad. Had the weird chalky white coating that chocolate gets when it’s no longer good. The gummy candies were also pretty stale.

Fridge for drinks was broken and leaking everywhere. Candy, trinkets and beach junk.

It was great but dont have no banana taffey. Or no turtles. But overall ok.

Expensive Candy was okay. Need to have more kid friendly staff... Chocolate covered candy was not so good. I dont think the ice-cream was cold enough as it was practically melting before we walked out the door.

Store has potential and a good selection. Now for the bad, not COVID friendly at all- Bulk bins are freely open with tongs or scoops scarcely placed. Just the right height for kids to stick their grubby hands, which I saw plenty of. With COVID, I expected that bins would be locked and require employee to dispense. Seems like a fantastic way to spread the virus. Lastly, I bought a pre bagged candy, from the manufacturer, not store. Opened, tasted, and immediately tasted of nasty perfume. The candy tasted like the smell of the store. NO grape flavor, as indicated on the candy itself. Investigated, discovered it had expired a little over one year ago today, ew. Its really a shame, they have the capability of being great, but are more concerned with selling expired nasty candy to pay the bills.

Amazing staff and lots of candy. There was a scoop shortage and I yelled at my kid for using her bare hands in the buckets so i know all that candy is dirty.

NOT covid friendly! This place should be closed. Open bins of candy to be scooped out by hand or there are a few random plastic scoops that can be used. The bins are child height, meaning children are likely putting their hands on all of the candy. Shame on this company and shame on me for purchasing candy on a whim and not thinking about the potential germs until later. And every bit of the candy was stale, old and had an unusual perfume odor. I imagine the candy is left over for months and months at a time. I also purchased a small block of fudge. The young lady asked me twice if I wanted to taste it before I purchased it, and I declined. But now I know why she asked. It was like a brick! Could not even cut it with a steak knife. Just out of curiosity, we threw it on the blacktop and it crumbled like a cookie.This is December and it seems the treats are left over from the summertime. All of it went in the garbage. Buyer beware!

My kids liked the colors and were so excited to go, however the gummies were hard and they ended up not eating them. Also my son who while we were shopping had to use the bathroom and almost went on himself and we asked if he could use the bathroom and they said no, so we had to leave and come back to get his stuff.

This place was cute, not much selection. I was not fond of the young lady who was really rude that worked there.

This business is very cute and super kid friendly. The idea is there but the actual product is poor. The store is beautiful and smells really good... unfortunately the perfume or whatever they use in there seeps into the candy. The fudge/chocolate candy we bough tasted like perfume it was so bad we had to throw it away. The lollipops and other gummy candy we purchased also had absorbed the perfume in the shop. Next, the candy scooped into our bags was not only riddled with the perfume but also SAND. I realize this is a beach side shop- but sand in the unwrapped candy is super disappointing. Last, the service wasn’t welcoming. Gave two stars for design and location.

Whack. Not one stuffed elephant in the entire store and the clerk wasnt extremely helpful. They had a bunch of other stuffed animals though 🙄

Beware!!!! They are not in compliance with Covid prevention. I asked for some bonbon/egg looking chocolates. He had no clue how many would be a lb. fine. I get it. Then he used his BARE HANDS to grab them and put them in the bag!!!!! I looked at my husband in disbelief. My husband told him he needed gloves or paper and there’s a pandemic and if he was telling him this what else was he doing. As he was saying this I looked around the counter. Sticky piles here and there, maybe from ice cream cones, not sure. Trash, empty shelving, dirty areas behind the counter. My husband again was explaining what the problem was and all of a sudden the guy didn’t speak English and wouldn’t tell us who the owner was/is. Placed a call to the Department of Health and told them to keep their candy.

I have had a lot of saltwater taffy in my days, but the taffy from this place takes the cake. Speaking of cake, I especially enjoyed the cupcake flavored salt water taffy. The staff person was very friendly.

Employees need to be educated about food allergies. We paid $6.99 for ice cream my kid couldnt eat because we were told it was dairy free. The employee didnt even apologize when we came back in and told her. We bought more candy for my disappointed daughter whose lips were swollen with absolutely no reaction other than a shrug from the employee.

Incredibly rude. When I asked about the slushie machine, I got obviously its not working If you look at it. As if Im supposed to know how a slushie machine operates. I saw fluid in the machine so I thought it was in service, no need to be rude. Just say it doesnt work, you cant order that. Very high prices too. Theres this gum I buy from cvs for 1.89 and they sell it for 5 dollars. Ridiculous
