Bought my first Mazda earlier this year and have used Hall Mazda for my vehicle servicing and maintenance needs. They have not disappointed! Appointments are readily available and easy to schedule online. Every employee that I have encountered has been professional. The technician sent me an email with a link to a video both showing and explaining the condition of my vehicle during my state inspection. They do not push unnecessary service or repairs. The car is delivered on time and at a fair price. I am super impressed with Hall Mazda and plan on purchasing another Mazda in the near future, which will most likely be from Hall.

Been having issues with my 2005 Mazda 3 2.3 to where it kept falling out of gear, I was being told various different things from different mechanics, so I decided to go here and the work was good they fixed the issue, come to find out it was my transmission range switch. Quality work for a good price I strongly recommend 💯💯💯 the head boss I believe his name was Greg or something like that very good guy thank you 😊

The entire process went faster than I thought it would without any hassle or back and forth on pricing and options. And also to Melissa, for the expedience in closing out the purchase and vehicle registration with the DMV! Was able to get my new plates then and there which was a huge surprise and one less thing to worry about. Great checkin and checkout process using text messaging for updates, links to video of inspection of vehicle and detailed line items for final payment on the mobile app. Picking up the car before opening time with keys and paperwork in the parking lot in a COVID friendly manner was the icing on the cake.
I recently purchased a Mazda from Carvana with Carvana Care, and both Carvana and Hall Mazda communicated that I could bring my car here under the warranty. Upon arriving, an employee greeted me and explained that the dealership does not work with Carvana vehicles. The employee was unprofessional and unkind. Next, his manager stepped in to intervene and troubleshoot. He was unbelievably kind, knowledgeable, and immediately defused the situation, assured me he would contact Carvana, and within minutes he found a solution. While the visit started on a negative note, the service manager completely turned my experience around and ensured that his employee was being coached appropriately. Thoroughly impressed with his ability to make a negative situation extremely positive.
Seems like the mask policies have been relaxed by the governor and some are not wearing them but the associates that have made very clear they won’t be getting vaccinated should be wearing a mask still. The lady in service that always wore her mask halfway and I heard telling a customer she won’t get the vaccine. Is now not wearing one and telling people she hasn’t gotten it. Doesn’t seem very safe and I will avoid visiting until it can be followed properly.

Worst experience ever with a dealership. Please drive to Hall Acura or go to a priority especially if you’re a POC or work with a sales associate from your same demographic. Better experiences and customer service at other locations. Communication was horrible as well. They don’t listen to the customer and also pre-judge POC. Would not let me drive a car I asked to bring over to the lot because of a fear that “I would fall in love and not like the credit results.” We’re all adults, if an adult can’t make that decision for themself there are deeper issues. On top of the fact they waited all day to communicate that they needed a better copy of pay stubs and asked to “verify” pay was entered correctly through the credit application and asked “why did I have two cell phones.” On top of the fact they ran my credit for the WRONG CAR!!!!Scams are real but we are honest hard working people looking for a car. Horrible experience please skip this one. I have never felt so insulted in my life. Black people do work professional jobs reasonable positions and open businesses. It’s the “verify” you entered this right, fending off customers, wrong car, & asking about my personal affairs for me. 🙃🙃🤔🤔
My experience was excellent! I have a 2018 VW atlas and they had no problems working on it. My service advisor Shane was professional and thorough. He was very personable and kind. Hall Mazda was great and provides amazing service during this tough times. I even got to meet the service manager Kamal who is a absolute sweetheart.

My first car purchasing experience was very negative and completely different from the way Hall Mazda handled it. The entire time while I was speaking to Mallisa and Phillip about purchasing a new car I felt completely at easy. They explained everything to me and really went out of their way to assist me with the purchase. I know little to nothing about cars and they made sure to be completely transparent with me. The whole time was hospitable, patient, and understanding. They went out of their way to assist me in purchasing my vehicle and provided a safe environment to do so. I definitely recommend coming here to get your vehicle!
When purchasing a car this place is awesome. I’d say customer service is great all around. The only reason they didn’t get 5 stars is because of the service wait time. I’ve never waited less than 2 hours for service or maintenance appointments. Being that this is my only method of transportation, it’s incredibly inconvenient to have to sit and wait that long for something as simple as an oil change.... other than that. They are AWESOME!

Hello,I came in for a check up for my engine and said that my belt tensioner needs to be replaced so they quoted me and saw it $$$ and last minute I told them that I will go to a different car shop instead to save money.Im very disappointed because close to the belt tensioner is my CV AXLE and it is very bad and never mentioned it to me. Crazy.

Love the car but being Active Duty and needing my car titled in another state they did nothing to help us and actually refused to title the car and told me I would have to do it myself after 3 months of calling back and forth with management who seemed to care very little about the issue I’m still waiting on the title. Also they managed to title the car for the wrong state. Over all not a great experience for active duty military.Edit: 27 Aug2020,Follow up for anyone thinking that management is at all helpful in resolving problems.We were able to speak to the manager to explain all of our complaints. We were assured that he would look into the issues and give us a call back by the end of the day with some answers. It has been 9 days and we still haven’t heard back. I guess nobody cares once the car is sold.
Unbelievable experience today as Service tried to steal almost $600 from me to replace a lift gate latch that was ‘mechanically broken’. Took it to a local shop for a second opinion. Local shop guy ran a diagnostic, found and cleared a code for fault in the lift gate return circuit (B1451), and viola! Fully functioning lift gate with ZERO mechanical issues! Took him all of 2 minutes. Followed up with Hall Mazda and asked if they ran a diagnostic when evaluating the problem. ‘No’ was the answer. So either, A: they didn’t run a simple diagnostic to help ID the problem and instead just assumed they could sell me a whole new latch mechanism or B: they ran the diagnostic and lied about the problem in order to sell me a new latch. Either way, unsatisfactory across the board. Hall Mazda has lost my business for life and I recommend you look elsewhere as well.Update 21NOV2020: Updating to reflect that Hall Mazda Service Director has reached out in an attempt to remedy my dissatisfaction. He explained that this has all been an unfortunate miscommunication between the tech and service coordinator. He says that they did in fact run the diagnostic and saw the same 1451 code. He says they reset the code and it popped again after ‘5 cycles’ (I’m paraphrasing, don’t remember his exact wording here). He offered to charge just parts, no labor to replace the lift gate latch.My problem is that I still have a fully functioning lift gate, with the only maintenance being the resetting of a code. It has been 4 days since that was done, and I have made it a point to open the lift gate dozens of times per day to see if I could get it to fail again. It works perfectly still. I do not feel that the replacement is required, nor was anything actually broken. My promise to Hall and you is that if the latch fails again and I do in fact need a replacement, I will further update this review with that information. Upgraded from 1 to 2 stars since they made the effort to reach out and remedy my concerns.

My wife and I had been test driving models from several different car brands for a few months prior to visiting Hall Mazda. Our sales person, Virgil, was super easy going and clearly very experienced. He listened to what our needs were, and put us in a vehicle that was perfect for us. Through the whole process, he was polite, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the Mazda brand. The showroom is clean, spacious and comfortable. We are happy with the price and the process.

Now that I have my car, the good service continues to be amazing, when I scheduled maintenance, they schedule me quickly and get the work done very fast. The people are nice.
Go see Phillip.We went to Mazda because I had an itch to take a look at the new CX-5. We have an older version, and why not see whats changed? And of course, we drove home with one!My experience from start to finish was what I had hoped for. I was greeted by Phillip outside, and off we went. Phillip was the perfect salesman. No pressure, and was very knowledgeable. The whole team there was very friendly and respectful. The process in my opinion, was way too easy! Haha!I am very fortunate to be in the position I am in life. At other desks, I could hear folks trying to find the best way to buy a car with what they could afford, which in some cases, was all they had. The Mazda folks were all trying to find a way, respectfully, and without judgement, to make this happen. I think I heard a dozen different payment plans, all to make the buyer more comfortable with their payments. To me, that shows a lot about people. And in this case, the Mazda folks seem like good people.When I buy another Mazda, I will come here. Well done.

OGM!! If you don’t own a Mazda.. you don’t know what your missing . I just got my first Mazda and brought it to Hall Mazda for an inspection. The service team is excellent ! They were friendly knowledgeable and so helpful, they took the time to help me understand when service would be needed and let me know that I could reach out to them with any questions I might think of . Why did I wait so long to buy a Mazda ... I’ll never know but no worries I have one now and a great team to help me keep it for a long time to come!

The wait wasnt bad. However small bottles of water and individual snacks shouldnt be effected by Covid. When my car was finished the mechanic returned my keyes to the counter with No mask on, so that means he was in my car with No mask on. That definitely raised my anxiety level and then to get in my car and it wasnt vacuumed out is crazy to me. When I was going to Mazda in Fredericksburg they always washed and vacuumed my car, always. Since I been going here that has not been the case why is that? I also would like to know why did the cost of labor go up on an oil change from $19 to $35 and the $19 dollar visit was much longer?
Not sure if I should give 5 stars for my recent visit to Hall Mazda. I had to have my car inspected and apparently they found a nail. Everyone I have talked to man and woman from here to Richmond says that the dealership could’ve offered to remove the nail and patch the tire for a fee. Instead they only gave me the choice to buy a new tire. At the price of $222.00. I told them I didn’t have that much money at that time. there was a service department man who offered a different tire for a 188.00. Many people say that they could’ve taken the nail out and patched the tire and charged me $35.00. two stars for not offering me the best offer for my situation. Two... one for each of the two + hours I sat there waiting for a car inspection and a tire. For money I didn’t have to spend.

I had a fantastic experience buying my used 2010 Mazda 3 here! Ernest Bridgette was very patient and worked hard to get me into a car that I am very happy with and that fit into my budget. He was very straightforward and honest, as he was upfront with the condition of the cars I looked at and helped me look through the CarFax histories for each.The overall shopping and buying experience was great, and I did not feel pressured through almost the whole process. They did turn up the pressure at the end of the buying process to buy an extended warranty and other services, but I think thats pretty standard fare for a dealership purchase.I will definitely come back the next time Im in the market for a car. Very positive experience overall, and I highly recommend them!

I just bought my first car in over 20 years. I did tons of research and decided I wanted a Mazda3 Grand Touring hatchback. I live in Pittsburgh -- test drove the car here and loved it. The problem was ... I could not find the year, mileage and color combo I wanted so I took my search online. I found 2 dealerships within 8 hours of Pittsburgh who had the exact car. The first dealership was not excited about a sight-unseen, out-of-state purchase. Then I called Hall and they were immediately happy to help. Trent in Sales was great to work with as was Steve in Finance. I paid extra to have the car shipped to me and they hired a solid transportation company for that service. If the entire process was great, all done via calls and email, I can only imagine Hall is even better in person. I would definitely recommend them.

The BEST service experience!From the first phone call I made to the Service department, Jolynn went above and beyond. My 2014 CX-5s check engine light came on while I was in the busiest few weeks of my life it seemed. She was able to fit me in on a day that worked best for me. I came in on a Saturday morning and due to the complex issue was provided a loaner car to use during my diagnosis and repair. Jolynn was in communication with me the whole time letting me know the updates and did a FANTASTIC job handling my extended warranty to cover the large cost of replacing a heater core and sensors.I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience and it was all due to Jolynn and the service personnel that did the quick and reliable work. Its so hard to get personalized customer service, especially in a larger company with high volume but Jolynn made me feel like I was the most important customer and took care of me like family. Great customer service!!! The service department employees were of great help and able to answer all of my questions in a timely manner. I got my car inspection done today. It only took about 3 hours to wait. The service department employees kept in contact with me at the start of the inspection by sending me a text notification. I got a call as soon as they were done. Kris was helpful too! He helped me find another place to change my oil being that I had a smart car. Hall Mazda is a great place to buy and get a car serviced!!! I might get my next car from there!! I went here for an oil change and state inspection. I passed the inspection, but was recommended a part replacement for my car. They were able to order the part, have it delivered the following day, and fit me in the schedule. Everyone here was very friendly and helpful, and the waiting lounge was extremely nice compared to other car shop lounges I’ve had to wait in. I’m glad I found Hall Mazda.
Bought a used Honda Fit LX and it came with 1 key. They made it sound like it wasnt a big deal, around $50 for another key. Surprise! $230 later for another key and Im not thrilled. Hall has a Honda franchise also but never offered to even discount the second key. This would have been a 5 star review but I deducted a star for each $100 the extra key cost me.

Went in for an inspection during covid. Technician came back with rotors and brake pad passed but in a few months I’d have to get them done. Since it’s my wife’s car, I decided to go ahead and waited another 1.5 hours and I was headed back home. Really, good, overall service.. even if they had to stop the coffee but WaWa is across the street.

Robert Pena explained how to use everything in the car and set it up to my liking, he went with me on the test drive so I could also see how it all worked.. I was in and out of the here in less then 2 hrs. I will not go anywhere else to buy a car and I recommended Hall Mazda to anyone in need of a vehicle.
