Produce, as per usual, looked great! Although the bagged salads were fairly short dated.

Weird.... never went into this store... just visiting... found what we needed but had to pay for a bag???? 5he approached us telling it would cost to use a paperbag we only had 1 item so we carried it out. But they allow people to bring in reusable bags ... that have probably NEVER been washed covid spreading bags and thats ok .... ummmm

Definitely a different store, sorta reminds me of European type grocery. Mostly has what youd need for your basics.

We love shopping at this Lidl, its in a convenient location. The store is almost always very clean and orderly. Their pricing makes it very affordable and they have a fairly large selection of items. I would give them five stars, but on occasion their produce isnt as fresh as it normally is; other than that, this is an amazing place to shop for all your grocery needs.

Disappointed that they were already out of the paper towels that were Sat and Sun only sale. The limit shouldve been 2, not 4. Maybe Ill try tomorrow. Otherwise, shopping at Lidls is always nice..... they have different items that you cant get elsewhere, and good prices.

Lidl is a simple and complete store at the same time. If you prefer organic food, I am impressed by how many options I have available to me here. Enough to cover every meal type, breakfast, lunch or dinner. You also have a small clothing section, house wares, and seasonal items. Short aisle, so I dont have massive choices. Bakery, too. Cynthia is what makes this store! Shes a delightful cashier.

Oh Lidl. I think I started to fall in love with you each time I go inside. Located on General Booth Blvd, this location provides a great “escape” from the crowds of Walmart when I don’t need a lot of items. It’s also on the way home from my gym, OneLife.The bright colors and lights welcome you into their tre. When you walk in, you can smell the fresh pastries. I am a Faaaaaaaaaan. However, I know I am not supposed to have any but it is a really tempting. Sometimes they even have samples lol. I normally come in for some fresh avocados, salmon, and turkey bacon. They have great deals. Other than food, you can find cleaning products, home goods, clothes, and some decor.Don’t forget to use their app for coupons and to help make your list of things that you need.

It’s the cleanest and best stocked Branch I’ve been to in VB. Come early for the freshest produce. Checkouts can be slow at busy times.

Cleans has more stuff than the lidl by me. In fact, this one has stuff mine no longer carries. I dont know if its because it is something not purchased there and just hangs out until its gone, but I wish mine sold it still.

A bit messy. Vegs and fruit looked good, but when I got home and opened my raspberries, they were spoiled. Check out girl very pleasant.

This is such an underrated grocery store, in fact this is the first Lidl location Ive visited in order to see how much it lives up to the hype. They have so many good quality products for cheap prices. Not the name brands that some people are particular about, but they do have just about everything you need and then some. They have good deals on some interesting and convenient items as well. One of my favorite things about about this store so far would be the bakery-- a wide variety of self-serve baked goods all for 99 cents and under. And I love that they even have self checkout here! Is it spacious and immaculate inside. The only downside is that the people who work the morning shift during weekdays dont offer help when they see that you have been looking around for a while. But overall its a good grocery shopping experience.EDIT: I will update my review back to four stars once this issue has been addressed. What is the point of having self checkout lanes if they are always closed in the morning??? I cant have a good shopping experience here if I cant use self checkout.

Our family’s go to place for all of our groceries. Selection and prices are superb, along with the customer service. Make sure to bring your own reusable bags. You may want to get some on Amazon. Additionally you may want to look at purchasing thermal bags for your refrigerated and frozen items. They do sell reusable bags if you’re in a pinch though. Overall we are really impressed with Lidl.

My wife and I like shopping here. We buy off brand chips and other products. They taste just the other stuff, but cheaper. Plus you can buy things from over seas. They have a bakery. You do have to bag your own groceries. The store is neat and clean. You can buy bags so you have your own for future visits.

I love 💘 lidle. I gave up my superstore passes for buying in bulk because I save my by shopping here. The store is mostly store brand products but they are such good quality. The diapers alone have saved me hundreds of dollars and they are so much better than huggies and pampers. They are on the level of the extremely pricey organic diapers but for five bucks instead of 40 plus. The downsides are that there is alot of product turn over so you may love something and then they quit carrying it. Also the store is very basic in design and you have to bag your own groceries. However these small issues are easy to overcome. This place saves me 400 to 500 dollars a month feeding my family of 5. The store is always clean with good parking. The employees are always helpful when i need help.

Lidl is good. Wines are the best prices. Prosciutto, salamis, copa, mortadella, bacon, cheeses have the best prices and good quality. The rest is ok, but if you are used to a specific brand, then is not ok. I hate to bag my own groceries!!! Thats why I try to avoid going there, unless I need wine and cold cuts. Besides they are not too friendly.

Lidl opened in Virginia Beach in 2018 in my neighborhood and I was hearing bad vibes from friends and family, but when I visited six months after their launch, I was surprised to learn of their extensive Organic food line and their remarkable prices on quality organic, grass-fed meats. Wow, I was astonished. Now I buy all of my Fruits and Vegetables there getting many of those organic too! This is my go to store for savings and quality.

Was great! Great food selection, prices, customer service.

Used to be great then they started not stocking things we liked diet lemon lime soda, chicken tenders, pizza that i liked . Just to name a few. The produce goes bad quickly along with the bread. They work their employees to hard as well .

Good service, and friendly staff. This location has excellent parking with plenty available parking space, good lighting, and ease access. Merchandise is good quality and good prices. The hours of operations are convenient and is open 7 daily. Store is very clean and organized. The bakery section has good selection of fresh baked goods.

Definitely need to change your grocery store. They have the basics but the more complicated spices and such may be more really found at larger stores. Staff is extremely helpful and easy to find. Bakery is on point but no butcher at the one we went to. Super cheap and everything was really good and lasted longer than expected.

Good prices. Clean store. For the most part well stocked. Always friendly service, just guaranteed to always have to wait at the check out line even if use self check out. So dont plan for an in and out quickie grocery stop here.

A unique grocery. You take your own bags or buy theirs; no self checkout. They dont carry everything but have some interesting products not available everywhere.

Very different from normal stores. Didnt know what to expect going in. Pick and pay for grocery bags then pack your own bags. Not ideal with two kids. Nice store though. Clean set up well and the fresh baked bread is amazing.

Good selection of stuff. Some items not cheaper than other comparable stores. The seasonal items are usually good but dont last long. They also usually only have one register open and wait until the line gets 10 people long to open another register.

Good food at a cheap price.

Shopping for fall foods. They have fall section. Near where the milk is on General Booth.

If you know what to expect, it is overall excellent. They dont always have everything needed (as is expected), but if you are deal hunting, this is a great place to go. Clean store, decent layout, quickly in and out.

Lidl is a great super market for getting your daily groceries. Lidl pretty consistently has the best prices on basic cooking ingredients. They have the best cheese selection and prices in the area. Lidl is less good for buying name brand products as they arent all carried all of the time. If you are looking for specific hard to find ingredients you may be better off going somewhere else as the selection at lidl is less than at normal American grocers. Make sure to bring your own bags as you have to pay for your bags.

Their ‘Vegetable Chips’ are actually sweet potato chips, which are the BEST I’ve ever tasted of any brand! Love their Cheese Puffs too!Many of their house brand products are equal, if not superior to more expensive branded products.

I love it. There are a big assortment of everything I need every day. Also European food is very affordable. One more thing people who work there are very nice and there arent lines to register.

Ive been to several Lidls, and this one is the nicest Ive been to. They have a very nice bakery. My biggest complaint (and why I am only giving 3 stars) they need a spot to allow shoppers to bag their items like Aldi has. The way they do it now is awful, and you feel rushed. If you arent super fast, or you like to bag your items neatly, cold w/ cold, etc. Too bad, youre out of luck at Lidl! They cant begin ringing up the person behind you in line until you get your items off the conveyor belt thing. Thats so annoying, and the reason why I stopped shopping there.

Maybe Im too used to certain brands and I hate bagging my own groceries, other than that I love Lidl. Prices are great, fresh produce and fruits. But the best for us are the cheeses and cold cuts. Prosciutto at 3.99 is a dream come true.

This is where we do most of our grocery shopping and will continue to do so. Great selection and good prices. Many organic alternatives and have been told their gluten-free selection is pretty great. Only thing is that often things have been fully misplaced or pricing signs have been placed on the wrong spot but they will never honor the prices.

Since Farm Fresh closed, this has become my to go quick store. Good prices, has alot more than just food. Also weekly sales & cell app. Make sure to bring your own bags, they do offer some for purchase (some reusable). Hours are limited 8 to 9, but very easy to access store & parking.

Great place, great variety and value. My only suggestion is that there never seems to be enough registers open. This causes delays, and makes you hurry when bagging in order to not delay everyone else in line. It is chaotic and never pleasant. A bad last step to an otherwise good shopping experience.

Early evening visit. Store stock levels left a good bit to be desired. Prices on some items lower than other grocers. Many equally priced. Nice to find some name brands scattered throughout store.

Im visiting family and stopped by for quick make foods. They were out of lidl brand peanut butter so I had to get the name brand... but the cashier who rung me up, Precious, was So Kind and smiling and happy. She gave me energy for my day! And her headwrap was BEAUTIFUL! I am so happy to see that at least 1 Lidl embarrasses diversity and allows its employees to wear head wraps. It is a show of our culture and one of the small things that makes me loyal to ab establishment.

I thought the store was modern in appearance, clean and well provisioned with a variety of the most often requested items at EXCEPTIONAL price points. We spent more than typical time and money at this newly opened location and view that as a vote of consumer confidence.

Just went for the first time today, its great. They have meat, junk food, produce, frozen meals, and other things. Its like a Costco. The staff are friendly and even though you bring your own bags they sell them for pennies.The prices are ridiculously low compared to a Walmart. I got 5 pounds of pork chops for 10 dollars and they were good quality too. White bread is 67¢ and all the vegetables are extremely low priced too. Another thing is the soda. Its 70¢ for 12 cans which I thought was ridiculous. All in all a great place to shop and Ill be going back many times in the future.

They dont have all the products I use so I cant go here exclusively, but its definitely worth a stop occasionally. Nice produce and inexpensive; great bakery items; meat prices reasonable. Stock up on canned goods, chips and generic health and beauty items.

Best food, best customer service, best prices!

They had the best nutty grain bread in their bakery and yellow cherries. They also carry Turkey medallions, which are hard to find at any other store and they have the turkey tenderloins unmarinated, for a great price.

Weirdest store Ive ever been in. Everything from frozen food, to clothing, tools, and housewares. Lots of off brand stuff, which isnt a bad thing, but thats the reason the prices are so low. Also, they are hippies and do not provide bags... neither paper nor plastic. So BYOB... bring your own bags!

Store great... Staff unaware of limits

I love the food selection but the store supervisor was not very nice to me. I was in line holding a lot of things and another register opened up and I was told by 3 people to move to that register and she stopped ringing people up to walk around and tell me to stay in her lane. She seemed very upset I moved and waited (while not finishing her transaction) for me to move back into her line. There were still 2 people in front of me in line. The guy behind me felt so bad and apologized to me. I was shocked that her name tag said store supervisor.

One of a kind shopping experience! Unbelievable prices for the quality I get across the grocery spectrum. Excellent European exports, and amazing European chocolate! A must see! Highly recommended!

Not what we expected.people seem like they hate working there.produce only last short time.reminds me of a 7-11 store.no diet foods there.specials are sometimes worthwhile picking up.never will be as good as Walmart or Harris Teeters. The place stresses me out just going there.its ashame,because I wanted to see a better store there.you have to bring your own bags for your groceries.the bakery is a not a bakery.products are shipped in from Richmond and still not good.
