Tried calling because the hours are not posted and the information I saw online said they were by appointment only. I asked the gentleman who answered the phone when they were open and how their inventory of guns name I looked like. He told me that they only sell to professionals, and were by appointment only. He then asked my name, and where I worked. I simply asked him how I went about making an appointment to view his inventory and he told me you dont. Extremely rude service, talked down to me the entire time and I would definitely not recommend this business to anyone I know.
This guy compared his store to a high-end car dealership but then told me they dont make any money off selling guns... Was helpful with basic information when it came to questions about the Virginia State Gun Law. Not helpful when it came to product or pricing information. Theyre by appointment only and you have to tell them exactly what youre looking for so they can present you with only that when you come. Probably not a great shop for a collector looking to browse or even a new shooter wanting to compare ergonomics or feel of weapon in hand before purchase. Wouldnt recommend to my family and friends.
The people complaining have never bought guns before, have no clue what they even bought, let alone operate a firearm, and think we need to roll out the red carpet for them. They never called ahead to ask questions. Then complain we dont stop everything to help them and try and explain the professionalism of calling ahead so it can be a smooth, painless transaction.Did I mention they like to scream at you when they hear something they do not like?In regards to personal questions. We feel it is rude for a person not to give their name when calling. Not sure about other people, but I was raised to give your name to the person you are calling; just a matter of common courtesy. As a side bar, you have to give us a name and other personal information so we can run a background check on you in order to give you the gun you purchased. Also it is helpful to know who referred you to us. That way, we can that them later.Furthermore, when you tell them starting 1 July, you will no longer accept firearm transactions for people that are not long time clients; because Northam capped the transfer amount to 15 dollars. Its not a rant, it is just notifying her our new policy. Frankly its just not worth our time to process it at that low of a price. She clearly did not understand or possibly not capable of understanding what we were telling her.The professionals we normally deal with are very happy with the services we provide and use us consistently.
Actually had a pleasant experience with them. There rough around the edges but who isnt there old school mentality for alot of the complaints on here I dont see the problem. You are going to have to experience life before you judge these men, remember not every one will pamper to the softer generation.
Just purchased a weapon from Mr. Galosi. Mr. Galosi gave me an honest appraisal of the benefits and detriments of the numerous revolvers he diaplayed, asked me questions about the purpose of the firearm to better serve me as a customer. Excellent and forthright service.
Very rude, acts like he doesn’t want to be bothered unless he knows you personally. Started going on about Ralph northam and the gun laws. Asked personal info that had absolutely nothing to do with anything. Very unprofessional.
I absolutely love dealing with Chris and his team. This is not the store where you will find Taurus or low end ATI pistols at. He is a strong supporter of VCDL which I love and very personable. He helped give me advice on some Blaser rifles to purchase and explained his love for Pre-89 ban weapons. Transfer fees are fair considering the area and would recommend taking some time to talk with him.He will always give clients the time of day and caters to clientele who are tired of the average gun store experience where everyone is pointed to what ever the sale of the day is.It is tough to find a shop anymore who refuses to stoop to the level of low end firearms and gear which makes most shops feel like a flea market. Look forward to talking with you about getting a 1911 akin to yours!
I looked them up online and called at 715am because I didnt see any hours online. I get a answer not knowing its like a personal phone, got a rude comment about the time and he hang up in my face.
Chris is my gun dealer!! Have dealt with him numerous times...always personable and professional. Definitely knows his stuff...and knows that nobody wants a damn Desert Eagle!
Rudest guy ive ever talk to noone ever buy from this guy
Wow, this guy was such a jerk! I called to see if he would be interested in a .50 Cal Desert Eagle just over a year old. I was very polite and without provocation he called my weapon a dog and stated he wouldnt give me any more than $150. I told him its probably not the best thing to insult someones weapon and he told me he will call it whatever he wants. I dont think Ive ever been treated this way by any business before, especially not a weapon dealer. Avoid this place at all cost, is my advice.
Completely unprofessional and rude. I could not believe the way he acted on the phone. I would not do business with this guy if he was the last gun deal in the state
