Great experience working with them getting checked in. I booked online from out of state, when I arrived the unit wasn’t big enough. She got me a larger unit and still applied the online price and military discount. Very easy to work with.

This facility has a history of providing great service. I’ve rented here multiple times in the last 11yrs and the staff has always been flexible and understanding. I recently moved in again to a unit and Kim went out of her way by assisting in providing access to the facility with an extremely large moving truck. This store also provides the use of a complimentary moving van within the first 2 weeks of starting your rental. Darlene the store manager set me up to take advantage of this benefit. This facility is military friendly providing a discount and making sure that your stuff is taken care of in case of unexpected issues and is not auctioned off.

Clean & no problems with pests. Secure. I was even forgiven a late fee when I called after the 5-day grace period. The lady at the front desk was super friendly when I vacated the unit.

The Staff at Shell Road location are very helpful and willing to listen. A business where Customer Service matters.

Large outdoor storage and great office staff

Van provided wasnt working properly. Had to go to another location to pickup a van. The movers were lost for an hour because of the van not working. No compensation offered by Life Storage

I personally wanna thank Darlene Ratliff for the outstanding help that she was to me. I’m new to the area and she was quite helpful with educating me about the town. She was not hesitant to answer questions and those that she didn’t know she did her best to answer. The area seems secure. Cops tend to ride up and down the street. They are good with communication and their offers are pretty straightforward. I love the fact that you cannot get a storage without paying for insurance. The prices here are not outrageous compared to others. I would definitely recommend to others this storage.

The service that the workers of Life Storage in Virginia Beach provided was outstanding. After my plans had changed leaving me with little time to move out of my apartment before my deployment, the man working there (prior military himself) helped me to easily find a storage unit that fit my needs. Recently, I went back to move all of my stuff out of my storage unit and Darlene (store manager) made sure that my movers were able to get in to my unit without any trouble. Overall, Life Storage VB made my move seamless and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

This place was great at accommodating us on short notice. Clean well and managed im satisfied with the establishment. Although one staff member quoted us for the entire month even though we were moving out the first week, another only charged us $7 very nice of them to do that.

Life storage was great. As soon as you walk in, it smells AMAZINGLY clean! They sanitize like crazy (crazy we have to worry about that right now) and they are super accommodating!

Terrible I went to the naval station location and I got bugs in my unit I also went and rented at the Shell Road location after 4 months of being there I sent opened up my unit and found different kinds of bugs including roaches they tried to say that nobody else has roaches. I had to spend money at both places for over two months to try to debug all of my stuff my advice to never rent at Life Storage ever!

I stopped into the Shell Road location, where I was greatly assisted and supported by Ms. Darlene. She was customer-friendly and extremely elaborate. She even referred me to the Little Creek location, in which was more convenient since it was closer to my home. Upon arrival, I was enthusiasticly greeted and welcomed by Ms. Dale. She finished my paperwork and even applied some discounts to top it off! Life Storage undoubtedly has my recommendation! Thanks guys!

This is a great storage facility. Ive been storing with them for over 2 years since it was Uncle Bobs and never have had any issues with staff which is great. Ive stored all my business and personal items here with no worries...Ima miss this place since I am relocating I now have to find a new 24 hour storage facility closer to home. Again its a great place and staff is amazing give them a try.
