Tyler, Jackson were our movers and they were absolutely polite and professional and very friendly. They moved everything perfectly and very fast. Would highly recommend using those two movers again.

The moving team called ahead of time and showed up on time. The moving team was very personable and exceptionally polite and respectful. Absolutely horrible experience. Slowest movers ever. They left furniture outside of my house (they forgot it by their own admission) & charged me to come back and get it 2 days later. And they damaged almost everything they moved. I have reached out numerous times with pictures but no response or desire to make it right. I would have been better off leaving my stuff since I’ve had to replace almost everything they moved.

Mike the Manager even had to pitch in with an issue we had. In life there will always be things that do not go exactly as planned or exactly as we hope but this company solved the issue in the best manner possible. It took longer than it should have thanks to our workforce not wanting to return to work post covid when free money is coming from the government. Jackson and SheaQuan (my apologies if his name is spelled incorrectly) were very professional and friendly. They did a very efficient moving job for me. They made an anxiety filled time for me go so very smoothly. Even on this hot and humid day they were up and ready for the count. They took very good care of my furniture. The crew arrived promptly when they said they would. They took great care and moving our boxes and furniture into the truck. They were efficient and professional.

Moved quickly and efficient. Were able to load all furniture and boxes for a 4 bedroom house, move across town and unload all in under 7 hours. That included dismantling and reassembly of beds. Estimate provided gave us a realistic case for pricing and the team leader strived to beat that price with speed without any damaged items. Would use them again and highly recommend to others.

The crew arrived on time. They were professional, courteous, and ever so hard working. The move could not have gone any better. Jay, Trey and Dominique really went the extra mile for me. My move was third floor to second floor - not an easy move. No grumbling, they just got it done. There was no damage to either house, and no damage to my goods.

I have always heard great things about Two Men and A Truck but after my current move, I will never use nor recommend this moving company to any family or friends. When I initially made the appointment for the move with Two Men and A Truck, I spoke to Kim and she recommended to put as much as possible on the estimate but that I could remove any items and the actual time would go down. The estimate she gave me was 4.75 hours with a minimum time of 3 hours. I agreed with the 3 hours and on moving day, I did take a couple items off my list. When the movers showed up, the first statement they told me was that, policy changed this morning and that it was a minimum of 4 hours. I told them that is not what I agreed to and called Kim to verify. Kim agreed that it would be 3 hours and told the movers that the next appointment was cancelled. Although, all of my items did arrive safely, I feel like the movers moved very slowly and even took apart items that did not need to be taken apart (Metal Part on the King size bed frame) to make sure that they would indeed make the 4 hour time frame. My bill at the end was for 4 hours. Morning of move policy changes don’t seem very professional to me and seem a bit shady.

I used Two men and a Truck in Atlanta GA for my move and had such an amazing job that we decided to use them in VA Beach knowing full well that they are a franchise. The experience was top notch from speaking to everyone in the office to the actual movers you could have not ask for anything better! Our movers were Javon and Kendal, both of them with amazing professionalism, personality and responsibility. They moved my mothers items from VA Beach, VA to Tennessee. They kept in contact with us at all times. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

I am very disappointed with the company. Id give them 0 stars if it was allowed. I hired them to pack my house and load my stuff into pods. When they came to pack my house, they did not finish the job and then when they were loading my items, they did not listen to what they were told needed to be packed. Then they didnt bring boxes for items such as the tvs so they refused to load them. When told they needed to finish the packing job that wasnt done before, they look confused and said they had to go. They were hired for a 4th day to come back out and finish packing but were again unprepared. No TV boxes and most of my items were not boxed but just put in storage. I have cancer and cannot be climbing through a storage unit to find stuff and I now have to spend even more money to hire people to again box and pack my stuff to move it. This company is unprepared for jobs, doesnt finish jobs they are hired for and then lies and plays games with the customer for more money. Never again will I hire them and I will tell everyone I know to avoid them too. They werent cheap and I expected them to do the job they were paid to do and do it right.

I’m missing an item and I called about it twice and someone told me “will get back to you after we checked inventory.” They also showed up super late and I got a charge for something taking longer. They did a decent job but I won’t recommend them next or go with them again honestly.

Classic bait-and-switch sales technique. Our original estimate for a long distance move was for $5,400. The estimator came to our house to perform an in-person inspection of our items and said we had less than he originally estimated (the insurance cost actually dropped by $100). However, the cost for the move somehow jumped by over $600!When questioned on this, the estimator blamed inflation. It had only been two months since our original quote. When I pushed back, he said his supervisor told him that even the $6,000 quote was over $300 too low, but they would honor the $6,000 fee.No thanks. I cant trust a company that wont honor their own estimates even when they tell you there was less to move than they originally thought.

The front office was very professional and responsive. Moving crew worked very hard and handled all my stuff with care. I worked with the VA Beach office since they had storage units available. Kim in the front office was great. Their estimate of what it would take to move me was pretty spot on. Their moving crew asked questions and kept me informed of their progress.

Two men and a truck is a great moving service, they were easy to schedule and nice to talk with on the phone. The moving team was professional, quick, and we ended up paying a little bit less than the quoted us. Overall, 5/5 if you need to move they are a great option.

Kim who helped me organize this move for my MIL was friendly, knowledgable and very professional. My MIL said the movers were hard working and professional. I feel the price paid for services was very fair, I do not feel I was overcharged for the work that was done. I would use this company again!

The movers were very polite, however, they dropped my washer on the cement in the driveway, scratched the entire side and dented where the door won’t seal correctly. They also tried to force a loveseat up stairs without removing the handrail and dinged chunks out of the banister and a scratched the paint the entire length of the handrail. I have claims on all damages, but three weeks later I’m still out of a washer and the banister and handrail damages haven’t even been looked at yet. I will not be recommending this company to anyone. The movers didn’t care about my property and now that the owners have cashed my check, I can’t get anyone to call me back! BS!

I called this company to ask about long distance moving options. In all seriousness, I was quoted between $12,000-$14,000 for a move from Virginia to Texas. Why anyone would ship there household goods for more than they are probably worth is bewildering, and the fact that this company is in business at this price point is equally so. A simple cost breakdown analysis shows how truly insane this dollar figure is, which leads me to one solid conclusion. This company will rip you off if you let them.

After being left high and dry by the Chesapeake location, I frantically called this VB branch. Jackie was so helpful in squeezing me into the schedule on the same day I called. She immediately sent over the moving docs that I needed to sign and had me all good to go. She estimated my time slot to be between 3 and 5 pm, depending on when the movers were finished with the move ahead of me. To my surprise, the driver called me at 2:30 and said they were en route, and showed up within about 15 minutes. The driver said his name was Mr. Logan and his partner was Reshawn. They were very efficient at wrapping and moving my furniture, even with the strange layout of the doors in my new house. It even took them about an hour and a half less than I was quoted by the Chesapeake office. Super stoked that Jackie was able to make this happen for me, and the two men and their truck saved me money!

Arrived at destination in perfect condition where the men brought the furniture into their new home, unwrapped and placed the pieces where they were asked. Couldn’t have gone better! This was an in-state move but fairly long distance. The moving team was great, handling all the furniture and boxes, which included a number of antiques, with great care. Nothing was damaged, and despite the heat on both ends of the trip the team maintained good humor and thoughtfulness. On the administrative end, they were easy to work with, providing a detailed and reasonable estimate. When all was said and done we came in under budget! We’d certainly use them again.

At first very helpful and courteous. Their main objective is just loading and unloading. We moved out belongings into storage. They were in such a rush they forgot to grab a few things which meant I made an additional 10 runs to storage. They werent helpful with loading the storage. I shouldve been more organized but I expected them to be more suggestive and helpful.

This is my second time using Two Men and a Truck. They were so good the first time I didnt hesitate to hire them again. My most recent move was awesome: the men called ahead with their ETA, they were on time, efficient, and pleasant. When moving my elderly mothers things they found two expensive pieces of jewelry and returned them to me. Wow, unexpected and truly considerate young men. Kudos to Wayne & Anthony.

Weve used Two Men and a Truck for 2 moves now, and both experiences were fantastic. I wish Id known about them sooner because other moving companies have broken things, been late, etc. Two Men and a Truck is always on time and has never broken anything. They are careful and they listen to your concerns. If youre doing an out of state move but have your own moving truck, you can also hire Two Men and a Truck to help you carry things onto your moving truck (wish I had known that before my friends broke my expensive furniture!) and to unpack your moving truck at your destination too - even if they arent driving for you. This company is all about quality and leaving the customer happy, so they take time to do things right. They also have lower cost for added insurance to make it affordable for their customers, while other companies charge a lot for insurance. This is helpful when moving delicate or expensive items, like the piano they just moved for me. Seriously, I have nothing bad to say about this company and have always been pleased with their services.

2 men and a truck are awesome. We moved out of a 3000 sq ft house and these guys where beasts!! They sent me 3 trucks and 7 guys. It took about 8-9 hours to move everything and let’s just say these guys did it all happy, friendly, joking and playing. Not once did I hear anyone unhappy or complaining. But these guys picked up heavy furniture like it was nothing. Took out boxes in a chain formation all the way to the truck. It was honestly crazy watching them. Not once did they slow down. They busted their a$$ the whole time. Friendly, polite and would ask questions if they didn’t know. Everyone of them used their manners when talking to you. By the end of it you wanted to adopt all these guys. Not a single thing was hurt or damaged. Nor did they complain if you asked to move something somewhere else. I can’t give a higher recommendation for this company. If it wouldn’t have been for this virus I would have hugged everyone of them because they made this so easy and smooth. Well done guys!! Two men and a truck were very efficient and polite from the office staff booking services to the 2 young men who did the actual move. They got my move done in less time than originally estimated, saving me some money. They verified a couple days in advance and called 15 minutes prior to arrival. I highly recommend them.

What I experienced was not just professionalism in my first call to their office, buy also unusual courtesy in answering my questions, with great respect for my concerns. The movers arrived on time, calling ahead to let me know they they were on the way. Upon arriving, they were noticeably very well-mannered, and professional, pleasant and diligent in their workmanship, always making my priorities in all my requests concerning everything being moved, their priority. The cost was very reasonable, not just because of the quality of the workmanship, but also because of their efforts to make sure I was pleased with the results. I was impressed with the integrity of this company in all aspects of doing business with them.

What a GREAT experience with a full service pack and move.Started out by giving Christopher Grossi a video tour of the apartment for an estimate, and let me say, he REALLY knows his stuff. The amount of materials, helpers, and time he said would be needed were SPOT ON. I’m so glad I had two men and a truck handle the packing and moving- it was so efficient and they did a much better job than I could’ve. For example, they got a 52” TV, bunch of wall art, fragile kitchen wares, etc to the new place all 100% intact. My packing skills would have never accomplished that with weeks to prepare that but they did in a matter of hours!! At arrival to the new place, they not only put all the furniture in the right rooms, but also sat it up - including a 176 lb king sized Purple mattress on the bed frame where we wanted it. I will be using them again for my next move for sure!

I cannot say enough good things about this company. From my very first telephone call to them, they have gone above and beyond ANY company we have ever worked with, and I mean that across the board - in any industry or service. They were extremely professional, carefully reviewed every detail with us, prompt and dependable. On the actual day of our move, we were so insanely stressed, we were completely overwhelmed - yet the folks who came to move us literally had us laughing and smiling on a day that all we wanted to do was give up and cry. The guys worked hard the entire time and never stopped moving.They were very courteous and throughout the move wanted to be sure they were placing things where we wanted them.We highly recommended the company and especially Monroe and Jeremy who seemed to work very well together.

Movers were great! Got the job done in half the time and all my items arrived without a scratch. Would definitely recommend!

The movers Joshua & Deveon were very professional & careful with my furniture / boxed items during the move. They communicated & worked great taking into account my requests and concerns. Kimberly thoroughly set up the move and went over the details with me. She did a special job of arranging to have a marble table top moved on short notice. I have high-end modern furniture that had to be carefully handled & packed. All pieces arrived in perfect condition. I’ll note that it was worth getting the PACK SERVICE. I had more stuff that had to be packed, though I did much of it myself. They were fast at it and it was worth the extra cost. My only complaint was the cost factor. I think my move could have been 1.5K to 2K less than the total. The distance multiplier is high. Move from VA to FL.Overall..great!!

This is the second time Ive used Two Men and a Truck and was absolutely satisfied. They arrived on time, explained the process and billing and moved my belongings in record time and safely! I tipped the movers a good amount for both moves and would highly recommend this company to anyone.

My experience with two men and a truck was everything I was hoping for. I cant remember the two gentlemens names but they were perfect. They came at the perfect timing, were every professional and handled everything with care ! They were super friendly and communicated with me about what needed to be done and where everything needed to go onces we arrived to my destination. Set up a move for 6/27, three to four weeks in advance. I was scheduled for a morning, early afternoon move. Two days before the move, received a text to confirm the move. I replied, YES. The day of the move, I called at 12:30, to see if I could get a more specific time. I was told, The movers have not touched base from their morning move, but I would be called 30 mins before they are heading to me. Got a call at 1:40 saying the movers are finishing up and should be to me not too much longer. 3:10 received a call saying the movers turned off their communications, forgot they had another move, and went home. How??? Unbelievable. But, lesson learned. Will not be using their services ever again. Well, I guess I never really even used their services to begin with.
