Checked in at 7:40am this morning and was told would be 2hrs to get my oil changed, maybe sooner. I looked at my watch and saw that I was a good bit passed 2hrs so I asked how much longer. I was told oh you’re next, and then a couple customers told me that they came in way after me and they already took their cars back for oil change. Finally at 11:00am I still didn’t get my oil changed so I took my keys from them and left. I would highly recommend to everyone Do Not use this place!

They got my car in and back to me quickly. They were up front and honest and kind the whole way. They even called the next day to make sure the car was still running properly. Ive never had anyone take that extra step before. I definitely found my new mechanic and recommend this place to everyone!

We took our Jeep here for an oil change after recently moving to Waco. We were pleased to find the same kind of small town customer service we were used to in the small town we moved from. The free tire rotation with the oil change was a welcome surprise since we needed that service too. Parking can be a little sketchy as a first time customer but I asked when I dropped my vehicle off and know where its safe to park next time. If youre able, I highly recommend dropping your vehicle off and picking it up later the same day.

I have been going to Jesse Britts ever since I moved to Waco 4 years ago. I was shopping around for an alignment and everyone I spoke to said Jesse Britts is the best one in Waco.After that I continued to use Jesse Britts for any mechanic work that I need done. They have always have been honest and upfront about pricing and time of completion. They will not perform a service if it does not need to be done and they will tell you which ones can wait.They are not the cheapest in town BUT that is OK bc I know I can TRUST them and I know the job will be done RIGHT. I would recommend Jesse Britts to anyone.

I will not give this place a 1 star because I have had good past experiences here. The last visit left me with questions and frustration. I will take responsibility that I did not agree with mechanics assessment on what needed to be repaired based on the symptoms my car was brought in for but I leaned on past experience here and went with it. The repair was not cheap but the frustration comes from the car having the same exact problem as I drove it home after pick up. I even gave it day hopeful something would change but no difference. I brought the car back in no issues there. I received a call telling me a caliper was stuck and they fixed the sticking as well as lubricated it. I picked up the car and noise I brought car in for was significantly better. My frustration is what was the point of the other repair (which was not cheap) when it did not change the problem. I called to discuss with mechanic but went round and round about it to no satisfaction. I will not say run from here but you may want to ask more questions as to how certain recommendations will alleviate what you brought you car in for.

I have not had work done so I cant comment on that. I did go in there once to inquire about some maintenance to my vehicle. There were 2 guys behind glass on their phones. Another guy hanging around in the shop, waiting space had 3 people in it. Secretary on the phone hangs up and Im standing at the counter and she says nothing to me. Fella comes in from shop and she and he begin to chat. I continue to stand there until the fella walked out. After her still not speaking to me I finally just turned away from the counter and walked out. See, I own my own business and have since 2005 so this behavior was simply unacceptable and shed some light on their service and how I would be treated if there were an issue with their services. I dont do business with places that behave that way. Its very disconcerting to have to had left that establishment with a bad experience but it seems most businesses in waco are ran by people that are not really good deep down inside. To some people, doing business with good people matter.

Went to get an alignment a while back. Only one tie rod alignment was done, but not the control arm because the bolts that hold the upper control arm were squared shape and it could not be rotated more. I payed for that alignment so I went on my way. I was unsatisfied because I needed the full alignment since I got new tires and new suspension parts. I was quoted $300 for these bolts, parts and labor of the other parts I needed. Ok, I’m a DIY person who knows that it’s not labor intensive so I went ahead and replaced the bolts. Went back, tried to get the whole thing aligned. I received a call to let me know that it was done. Got there and I was told that the spindle was broken and that’s why the airbag light was on, maybe because of a hit. They could not do the alignment, AGAIN, now because of this.FYI- The airbag was on because the clock spring was out, (just replaced it a while back).My concern was, why wasn’t I told about the spindle being broken at the same time I went to get my first alignment? I could’ve changed everything at once, and I could’ve walked out with an alignment.•Probably not the spindle since I have checked and there’s no physical damage. The spindle is fine! No cracks no broken parts, it’s fine. (Maybe they broke it?)If I replace anything after they touch vehicle the warranty is voided and I have to repay to get it realigned. Idk, it seems like if I take it back I’ll be paying again and again, and/or something out of the ordinary will pop-up, I don’t know.•Know your vehicles, do research and pay attention to before and after in your vehicle.

Always honest, solid mechanic work, and good communication. I wont go to anyone else in the area. Theres a good reason they stay busy, so show up early in the day if you dont have an appointment, but they work hard to try to fit you in if at all possible.

The service did not disappoint. The price was fair. The work was completed same day and my car drives like new.

Go thru ORiely parking lotParking is a pain.7:30 open 7:15 I was 3rd person in line.There rates are low but they are busy busy busy. 7 chairs to wait in and the lobby is small but has ac.Staff has a lot of knowledge and I turned wrenches for 3 dealerships so I know bull when I hear it.They seem to be straight shooters.Only 4 stars due to location and lot layout.

Friendly service and awesome prices! Those are the two best qualities I look for in a mechanic. Made an appointment to have my car serviced on a Tuesday morning and they were done by that afternoon. I am a student so I got an extra discount which was awesome. I especially appreciated them pointing out my year long warranty 👍🏾. I got my car back and everything seemed to be in its place, even my seat. Ive taken my car to other places and have had to adjust my seat and mirrors back. There was no paper mats or windshield numbers to discard. You might think your car wasnt even looked at because they return your vehicle exactly the way you leave it with them. This is a little thing but I noticed it and was delighted by it ☺️. I will tell everyone I know about Jesse Britts automotive.

I went for alignment and balance and rotate. The guy that worked on my blazer was more interested in gunning the engine than he was about how it drove. When I got the vehicle back o got a very poor excuse as to why they could only rotate the tires and not balance them. Then I get a print out of my alignment and the never tried to adjust camber/ caster and they only set the toe. Vehicle still pulls left and steering wheel is off center. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy much less a friend or even stranger. Worst automotive shop Ive been to.

Stood in the cold from 7:15 am on a Saturday until 8:30 am only to learn it would be noon before they could begin my wheel allignment! I could not leave and come back or my spot would be given to another. No social distancing being enforced and employees behind the counter not wearing masks. I know they do good work at reasonable prices with warranties offered from past experiences. No appointment times are ever offered for allignment or oil change. I will not be returning.

Was fast n efficient, honest. Just wish he wouldve called me before they exchanged a good part with a good part. Wouldve gladly still paid for his time. For I couldve got my money back for the part I bought. But all in all good n fast service.

Phenomenal service! Initially went in for an oil change and to have a warning light assessed. Was given estimates of necessary work that would be needed and they were prioritized.So happy that I have found an honest and reliable place for my car. Definitely a place I would suggest and recommend.Update:I experienced an emergency with my vehicle and didnt know what was going on. I called up Jesse Britts (knowing how busy they are) and they told me to get it to them as soon as possible. I got it there within the hour and they had it evaluated and diagnosed within an hour of dropping it off. I have a warranty on my vehicle and Chris dealt with the warranty company about everything . . . he even talked the company down $400 in expenses. I stand firm on my recommendation for Jesse Britts Automotive.

I was treated very nicely and politely. Oil changes are on a first come first served basis so the wait was long, but the price was right and they are very nice people.

Maybe I shouldve waited to do a review since Im so mad right now! I had the people at Jesse Britts Automotive to look at my daughters car since it had been running hot and the a/c no longer working in this over 100 degree weather. My daughter dropped her car off Wednesday and they called me and said what the problems were and what it would cost. When the guy told me 2000.00 I was FLOORED! I gave them the ok late that evening. I thought the car would be ready the next day but instead I got a call that the car needed an alternator. I asked if it could wait and was told no. So that took it to 2500.00. I told them to go ahead. I was feeling pretty uneasy about the amounts and the call(s) since I dont know anything about a car. I picked the car up Friday evening and noticed the air just wasnt cooling real good but wanted to give it some time knowing its gonna cool after paying 2500.00. It never really did cool good to me but I took my daughter her car for it to stop on her on Sunday evening on her way to my house. Im so mad right now and I want this corrected 1st thing in the morning. Ive left a msg for them to make this right after opening in the morning! Ill update my post tomorrow!

I was told that there were 3 ahead of me and 2 on the lift. I was there from 10:00 am until 2:35. When he got to my car, it only took about 20 minutes. I wonder why the other cars took so long. I understand that they went to lunch but still thats a long wait. I hope he didnt rush mine and skip something because I asked about it after lunch.

Best prices in waco for the services but they do get pretty busy so make sure you get there early AM.

Told me all motor mounts & brackets were weak yet missed the front lower motor mount bracket completely severed with a 4 gap motor actually was slid forward touching the fan motor nothing in their invoice about any of that, I already knew my front struts were bad they wanted charge me $1,600 just for changing those out. Also said my wheel hubs needed re-surfacing or replaced yet they were only supposed to inspect front end suspension and steering how did they end up digging into my wheel hubs? I wish we could post pictures here.

I ha(d) been a satisfied customer up until about a week, or so ago. I am new to the area and relied mostly on radio/tv for businesses in the area (have an import, not a bunch of choices here for imported vehicles). I went to Britts because of the fact (advertisement on website) that they advertise work on domestic/import. I heard their ad on the radio and it advertised, and probably still does today, that they pick you/vehicle up and will drop car off when they finish the work. I informed (Chris was the employee) of the advertisement and he verified the ad while I was on the phone. He stated that he was going to inform Jesse of the erroneous ad. NEVER happened (I checked)!I took my vehicle (2001 BMW) in, on this occasion, to have a window regulator replaced $313.46; NO OTHER ISSUES with my vehicle. I have had my vehicle for 20 years and take very good care of it. When I returned (two days later) to pickup my vehicle, it would not start. They said my alternator was faulty...HAD to have my car; authorized repairs...cost after replacement was approximately $550.00 ($350 for alternator that I found for $122.00, after the repairs) I UNDERSTAND markups on merchandise but I found/find that a little much. Went to pickup my vehicle and now no dashboard lights...NONE! Talked to Thomas and he stated they (JBrutt) would put their equipment on and try to find out why no panel lights. Thomas also DID NOT inform me of the fact I had no dash lights and was going to allow me to drive my vehicle. I even had conversation with staff, prior to leaving their premises and was not told (other than a fourth of a line on the receipt, in small print...I am 65 years old and did not have glasses on when I got the receipt). I could not believe this was happening! I took the vehicle, with an appointment Monday morning to have issue looked into.Monday morning I was under the weather and contacted Thomas (shortly before 8 a.m. with no answer... THEY advertise 7:30 a.m.and again shortly after 8 a.m.) that I was not going to meet my appt but I was having the car TOWED to him. He stated he would let me know the findings before they closed. I patiently waited until 2:30 p.m...they had the vehicle since around 10 a.m. Talked to Thomas and he said his mechanic was finishing a job and I was NEXT. No other choice but wait until called. WAS NEVER CALLED!!!Picked up my vehicle the next day and have no intention of returning. My panel lights are still out! No way Im letting them get a chance to do more damage on my vehicle. I can now look forward to electrical repair costs at some other business.I have complaints about every one I had contact with, except Pat. There were excuses made, covering for other employees and untruths told by some, if not all. The main complaint I have is against Thomas. He portrayed himself as management but did nothing that goes along with how management should handle issues. I know about management styles as I have a bachelors degree in Management & Human Resources and graduated summa cum laude (with highest honors), but Thomas seems to lack any styles that I am familiar with. In every situation, I try to find the positive, whenever possible and given the opportunity. The most positive and truthful experience I had at JBritts was employee Pat. He was always a kind, respectful and loyal employee of JBritts.After dropping almost a $1,000.00, this time, I will shop for a qualified business that values my patronage.Im not sure what was done after my car was towed to them because I asked for and was a refused a receipt by the last person I saw there (Mike). My feeling is they NEVER ran any kind of test to see why & how THEY did SOMETHING to cause my electrical issues because it happened when they were in posession of my vehicle.Prove me wrong and mail my receipt!

They took me in last minute to get an oil change, took a quick look at my car without me having to ask to make sure everything was working properly, and got me in and out in an hour! They were very professional and understood that car repairs can quickly get expensive. They have knowledgable staff who were quick to explain costs or answer any question I might have had. I live 4 hours away and was quoted over $200 for an alignment back home. During Christmas while here visiting I called these guys up because of the reviews alone. Not only were they a quarter of the price. They got me in and out same day even though they were packed before the doors even opened. I had such a good experience, two days ago I called letting them know I would be back in town and needed my breaks looked at. They do not normally do breaks on the weekend but made an exception!! Again, packed first thing on a Saturday and again gave great service. Needed front and back replaced. Had me up and running 3 hours later with a life time warranty on parts. Looks like I have a new mechanic, although four hours away. They are so worth the drive alone!
