Jonathan did an excellent job! He solved my problem and is very knowledgeable, friendly and effective.My car was not starting and a previous attempt to diagnose it told me I needed a new charging system. I decided to check once more with AutoZone and Jonathan was the person who volunteered to do it.He diagnosed it correctly, and on top of that, he recommended a battery that was NOT the most expensive one they had available for my car.Great experience and a great person to work with!

I was with my friend yesterday who was sent to pic up a part for her car. I advised her it may take a while at this store and went in with her to prove my point but felt right away I must have been in a different store. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very professional. I dont know what you did, but keep it up. Ill be back whenever Im in the area in the future.

I love this store! Mrs debi Richards was awesome tonight!! Came in around 645/7 with a challenger that needed a new battery and was giving us a CHALLENGING TIME to get out the car .. she came right out the help us after we asked for assistance ! Tested our battery.. gave us a assessment based on her experience which was excellent by the way.. and provided us a battery that was best with a great discount!! Was up and fixed by 745!! Complete waste of time. I ordered simple stuff--2 cans of refrigerant and a gallon of antifreeze. It was ready within an hour. When I arrived at the store and placed a call for a curbside pickup I was asked to give me a minute, buddy and placed on hold. TWELVE MINUTES LATER, I drove to Advance Auto, about 200 yards down the road, picked up the antifreeze & refrigerant and walked out of the store. Its now EIGHTEEN MINUTES and the person who asked me to hold a minute has yet to pick up the phone. I hung up, called back and cancelled my order. When I got home, I unsubscribed from AutoZone emails. Save yourself some time and trouble--shop elsewhere.

My battery died in the middle of the road RIGHT outside the store. I was stuck in the middle of the turn lane so I called them and they all came out and pushed me to the store. it was pouring rain. John came out and replaced the battery and the windshield wipers and was excellent to work with. if I could give more than 5 stars I would

Battery died and went to AutoZone in Wake Forest for battery check and replacement. Allen was very nice and replaced the battery with a Duralast Gold battery; told me of their other services (I had to idea!); very clean, nice store. Talked to the assistant manager today, Darryl, about the quality of the battery and he was very helpful. First time at AutoZone this week and I was very impressed with my first experience.UPDATE:. I went to AutoZone yesterday because I was not able to get my new North Carolina license plate off of my Honda as Honda uses specific bolts or screws and I did not have the tools (a socket wrench?) for it. Because I had had a good experience 2 years ago with my battery at this particular Auto Zone, I called a couple of days ago and I spoke to a woman named Diana, who said she would be happy to help me put on my new plate! So yesterday I went and Diana wasnt there, but the store manager, Debi was, and she was so nice and helpful! She got the appropriate tool and bolts and at no charge she gladly took off my old plate and put on my new one for me! How nice is that? Who does that anymore? Well, I know one place that does, Auto Zone!! So Ive had two very good experiences there in the last 2 years and I cant thank the staff there enough. Big shout out to Debi!! I just waited 8 minutes to buy a fuse puller. Once the 2 employees assisting customers at the registers finished with the previous customers, they walked away to take a break. Meanwhile 3 other employees, at least one of which was a manager, continued to support ignore me in line. The only other customer waiting. I understand being busy in retail, I’ve managed big box department stores, corporate specialty retail and independent retail stores. I now manage a retail store by myself with no other employees and I can assist every customer in my store and acknowledge that their business matters. There are those who care and those who don’t. This staff definitely doesn’t care about providing subpar service let alone great service. Shop somewhere else, you’ll absolutely get much better service. . Shop local!!!

Customer service is not great. Staff seems to want to pass the buck when difficult situations arise that cause them to have to do more than just put a part number into the system. Management is no better and seemed to get flustered easily and became defensive &condescending at times.

Amazing customer service.......I was helped by Brandon today......I had two lowbeam head lights that needed to replaced. I had no idea what I needed. Brandon came out to my car and identified the exact bulbs I needed.....took me to the section of the store where the l bulbs were located and explained the difference and price range of each......after I picked the bulbs needed and checked out Brandon installed the bulbs in my car. My niece and I were amazed and impressed with the customer service we received. Customer for life...Thank you!!!

Had a great experience with John (store manager) last month and can’t speak highly enough towards his help. My check engine light came on and I brought my car into my auto body shop for their input. After receiving a $1300 estimate towards “needed” repairs, I brought my car over to Advance and got free diagnostic testing. Based off the diagnosis, John told me that only a very small portion of overall repair was needed to resolve the check engine problem. Moreover, given his past history as a mechanic, he even recommended trying to go under the dealership so it would potentially be covered under my warranty. I did exactly that, and got all the repairs completed (parts, labor, etc) for $0.00. He even was kind enough to continually answer my questions by phone after I left the physical store itself regarding potential next steps. Without his incredible insight and experience, I would of ended up spending a lot more money than needed. He went above and beyond for me and I sincerely appreciate their commitment to their customers! -Regina D.

BIG SHOUT OUT to store manager John and his co-worker Patrick. I stopped for a routine battery check that was everything but routine--just ask Patrick.Turned out to be a rusted, corroded battery connector as the Duralast battery was fine. Patrick battled that cable for about 20 minutes and with a little teamwork from John finally conquered it.Patrick installed the new connector and put it back together only for us to realize the passenger windows were not operating.Quick thinking John googled us a solution that reset the system and I was on my way.Wake Forest Autozone Store ManagerJohn and colleague Patrick-GO SEE THEM! Couldnt use $10 off $50 coupon because the stuff I purchased was on sale by $3. My total came to $56. I even asked if he could just ring the products up full price and he was not able to do so.-Update- went online and put in the same exact items and used the same coupon that says IN STORE or ONLINE and it worked. Owed a $6 refund. Called customer service and he said to return everything and purchase it online to get refunded for the difference.

Had an issue with my battery cable popping off even with a shim. Before I purchased something, the clerk asked to see it. Told me to hold on and went inside the store. A few minutes later he came back, fiddled with the cable. Problem solved and it cost me nothing. Now thats service.

I am a female and walk in no one asked if they could help me, after walking around for a few minutes I asked two salesmen a question which they both just started and looked at me funny and then said “I don’t know” very rudely. Never shopping there again. Went to the advance auto parts down the road instead.

I went in for simple tool. The manager was extremely rude. While helping me, he got a call from a customer. He then walked away with out saying a word to me, pointed at another employee and said help him. He didnt even tell him what to help me with. I asked what was that, and he said it was a commercial customer. I was floored. I have been a customer for years, well not anymore. The guy was heavy set, bald and I guess the manager. It happened on 1/2/17 @ 11:30am

I like AutoZone. It has better-than-average Parts, four usually the best price. Make sure that you read the reviews for all of the parts that you are considering, though, and make sure that there might not be an individual part that is bad. Also, make sure you do a lot of research on how to diagnose, replace your part, and replace your fluids, etc.

Zack Dargatz has been such a great help for us today on 08-13-15! He is a valuable asset to the Wake Forest AutoZone and I hope he gets recognized for how well he provides such great service. We spent a good 30-40 minutes going over the situation and making sure nothing was left out. He was very patient with us and is very knowledgeable about the parts we were looking for and went out of his way to make sure we got EVERYTHING we needed at the fastest way possible. He took the time to even go outside and look under the car to verify the situation and at the end when we could not order a certain part that we needed, he had then printed out a list for us with the part numbers, so that if we did come back later, we wouldnt have to go through that whole process again and we could check with other stores in the area if we had to get them today. So, I could tell that he was looking out for our best interest and trying to save us time and money!Even though we ended up ordering through someone else who happened to have all of the parts, I made sure that the price was matched with AutoZones lower price as that competitor was higher in cost! If AutoZone had that one part, we would have ordered from them instead. It was a manufacturer stocking issue, so it was not AutoZones fault nor any of the employees. Because of this experience, I will NOW be making sure that this AutoZone is the FIRST car place that I go to if I need parts from now on. So, if anyone has questions that they may not be getting answers from through other employees or from other competitors, just make sure to ask for Zack or if he happens to be out, try calling back later and asking for him. He will make sure you are well taken care of! Thank you again Zack for all of the information and help. You are awesome! A++!!!
