I had limited time to shop and delivery was a priority for me.Met with John during my lunch break and I selected a mattress in my budget, within 30 minutes. T.J. delivered the mattress to my new place the same evening. Well worth the drive from Knightdale to Wake Forest.

We had an absolutely fantastic customer experience at mattress by appointment. I was able to get in same day, the owner took as much time as we needed, gave us a great deal, and then kept me updated as promised on the delivery of our frame and mattress. When we picked up our frame and mattress we ordered another mattress as well and got the same great service. Would definitely recommend them over the name brand stores in your area. Trust me, we went to all of them as well, sat through the sales spiel, layed down on their beds, and were told how many thousands of dollars we would need to spend. Do all that first THEN go to mattresses by appointment and buy.

Highly recommend. We just moved and had been waiting on a Mattress Firm mattress that kept getting delayed (6+ weeks!). We gave up on them and called MBA. BEST service I have received from any retailer in a LONG time! Super responsive, very accommodating, extremely personable, and on-time and professional delivery. Their showroom had a good selection of mattresses (different types, etc) and incredible prices. My mattress is exactly what I was wanting, Noel allowed me to really take my time laying on the mattresses. I never felt pressured, she listened to what I liked and didn’t like, she helped me but she didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t want or need. She is awesome!! I felt like I was dealing with a friend during the entire process, they actually care about your satisfaction...which is rare these days. I would highly recommend this company.

It was a no-gimmicks, fair deal, run by a professional and polite owner who didn’t make us feel pressured in any way to make a purchase, but gave us our space as we tested mattresses and answered any questions we had. The employee who delivered our mattress was very friendly and professional and did a wonderful job with the installation. We are very pleased with our experience and would recommend this business!

I heard of mattress by appointment wake forest from a friend. I made my appointment with John. Let me just say that he saved me and my families life. I was in desperate need of 3 beds or else we would be sleeping on hard wood floors. He was so nice to us and really went above a beyond to make sure we slept in a comfortable bed that night. I could not believe the incredible price he gave us. He had so many to choose from. I needed to finance the beds, I only had to pay $40 and the process was so painless and fast. (I was worried because my credit is not good). He said I didnt need credit to get financing. I was so thankful. He also delivered my beds the same day. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Mattress shopping can be so overwhelming... except with John at Mattress by Appointment! Just bought our second mattress from them and found it to be the least stressful way. John is so flexible making it easy to find a time to both meet to shop and for delivery! No stress of high pressure sales and no window of time waiting for delivery. I simply told him what we wanted and he showed me my options... all of which I could test out in his showroom. Plus the savings! Both times I did some pre-shopping at local mattress stores and his prices do not even compare to the high cost of big chains. Both times I estimate 30-50% difference in cost to the comparable mattress (and this time we bought and adjustable bed frame too).They were on the minute delivering and setting up the bed frame and mattress. They even took all the trash from packaging away! I will only buy mattresses this way, from Mattress by Appointment with John from now on!

John and the staff at MBA are awesome. John showed us several mattresses that meet our needs, and we were able to try them all out and pick the one that felt most comfortable to us. We will definitely buy from them again. The prices are Unbeatable !

I made an appointment at the Wake Forest location today. While there was great communication concerning the appointment, the prices that are advertised online and even discussed on the phone are very misleading. I got to the store after already explaining that I only needed a queen mattress. I was told just for a mattress it would be between $100-$150. I arrived and what I was shown for $100 was nothing short of a cot mattress and very flimsy. The second mattress for $200 was not much better than the first. I was then shown a slight upgrade that started at $350. I decided against purchasing due to the fact I feel I was mislead and misinformed about the quality of what you actually get. The actual mattresses I saw today were nothing like advertised. Prices are not clearance or 40-80% cheaper than other places. I walked out of Mattress By Appointment very dissatisfied and feeling disgusted that I had wasted my time looking at mattresses that we very low quality and a total deception of what I was anticipating. Expect to spend at least $350 for a base model mattress with any kind of quality. I left my appointment and stopped by another mattress store in the area. I left there with a very high quality mattress that is amazingly comfortable for $150 less than Mattress By Appointment. For what I spent on a quality mattress at the other store, I would have received nothing more than a flimsy bunkbed mattress at Mattress By Appointment. It is also advertised No Credit Check, that too, is not correct. They do run a soft credit check which still marks your credit as an inquiry. While Im sure some have been pleased with their purchase, please beware and ask many questions before making an appointment and being disappointed as I was.

Mattresses By Appointment is THE BEST mattress store in this area. I called and visited several mattress stores in the Raleigh/Durham area, and by far, MBA had the best selection and the best prices. Go there first. You wont be disappointed.

We bought a mattress from the Wake Forest location over the weekend. They were to deliver the same day. About 30 minutes before delivery was supposed to be made I was contacted that it was raining but would give it another hour to see if it stopped raining for delivery. An hour and a half later I reached out and was advised they would deliver the next day at noon. At 12:30 the next day I contacted again to be sure they were coming, I was advised the person would be there any minute. 15 minutes later a young teenage boy showed up alone. We bought a king size mattress, mind you. He asked for help to bring in the mattress and boxed springs. I was furious. Luckily our delivery fee was waived prior to or I would have really been mad. I reached out to the salesman/owner and was told he thought my husband was there. I advised him to never assume because not only was my husband not there, but I had just had surgery on my ankle a few weeks ago. Also, it was never expressed that we would have to setup the bed ourselves. I would never use this company for my mattress needs again. Im pretty sure the mattress is not a name brand either. When I got the plastic off, it had loose threading all over it. I didnt waste my time contacting the business since he was so UNhelpful with delivery. I snipped all the lose threads with scissors and only hope it wont ruin the mattress.

Im not sure about the other reviewers, but selection here is the worst of any mattress store I went to. By appointment scheduling is pretty inconvenient, but they were on time. I would only recommend if you know they have a mattress you are interested in testing.Edit: To the owner, who responds to a 2-year-old review? The appointment was at this location. I suggest keeping better records.

I first heard about this company from the wake forest community group on FB. Everyone was saying great prices and customer service so I went to look for a queen mattress. The owner was very friendly, and professional. There were several beds on display to try out as well as a bunch of beds in stock. I purchased a queen mattress on the spot and it was delivered to my house within a couple of days. The delivery man was very polite and took my old mattress with him. I had a GREAT experience with this company and saved a lot of money. We will be buying a king mattress from them in the near future. Thank you
