They filled my prescription wrong. Took over a month to fix it, then didn’t tell me it was ready until after it was “expired”. The pharmacist was rude and refused to take any responsibility or offer a solution. I had to file a complaint with the better business bureau to get so much as an apology.
Contrary to the online hours listed, they are NOT open 24 hours. One of the pictures shows me trying to enter the store at 3:20 AM,but the doors were CLOSED. The lights were on- but no one responded!? The confusing part is their signage posted which provides many different hours of operation?Which makes me wonder why they cant empty their trash when they close? Especially since it was full enough to force people to stack garbage on top of the only receptacle! I could understand if this was one time, but almost every time I go to this CVS,theres either trash piled up or all over the parking lot.Besides the roaches crawling around, there is a flattened rat near the entrance thats been there so long its petrified into the foundation( too gross to photo) On this particular visit when I drove away with the excess packaging from my purchase and a dirty diaper from my little one,I saw thier dumpster and used it instead.Yay! Haha, funny- the gate was wide open and not a single piece of trash was in it!? How hard is it to take out the trash CVS? I actually considered lending a hand and emptying it myself, but my toddler wasnt getting any less fussy and I had my own trash to take out when I got home.Other than that, the location is perfect for picking up our prescriptions on my way home from work.
This CVS says- open 24 hrs all over the building and on the website, but that is not true. Save yourself the hassle of going there to pick up your medication, if you work odd hours and can only pick them up when they claim to be open. Unfortunately they have only posted a sign on the front door showing hours (7am-11pm)but failed to make that information accessible anywhere else? After working long hours, only to find out that I wouldnt be able to pick up my prescription on my way home was more than frustrating!
Always so helpful. Discounts work. Pharmacy is efficient. I wish they would smile more but they are great. Thanks y’all!
The pharmacy at this location is TERRIBLE. I had to go twice only to be told my insurance wasn’t the right insurance, or that my prescription card was expired. This is not true, and when I transferred it over to Walgreens they were able to fill my prescription under my insurance in less than 5 minutes. The pharmacist yelled at me, made no effort to use my insurance, and ultimately almost cost me $75. Incredibly incompetent. The girl working at the counter was the only nice person there. Huge waste of time at this pharmacy that just wants as much money as they can get.
Good neighborhood quickie mart. They sell upscale products at high markup too, but its convenient so Im not complaining. Clear lack of staff however, and generally a weird vibe when asking them questions.
Worst CVS Pharmacy staff Ive ever encountered. Not all are difficult to work with, but one of them is exceedingly lazy and rude, and the rest wont do anything to help. AVOID THIS PHARMACY to avoid future headaches.
This is a review of their newly renovated minute clinic - it’s wonderful! The nurse practitioner was very thorough and kind. The store is also well stocked and has a variety of products. I would definitely come back for the minute clinic and to shop. Best CVS I’ve been to in DC.
I had a very unpleasant service experience at this location. I went in for a TB test that the cost of it was almost close to a $100. And I needed it for an employment position. I was told that the result of my test at this location in DC was a positive one. However, I conducted a similar TB test a while ago for a different employment position in Pennsylvania. And I was informed that the result of the test that I went through in PA was a negative one. And it is due to the result of this negative test that I went through in PA that I am concerned that the result of my TB test at the Minute Clinic at this location appeared to had been falsified. And it is also a good point to be made that falsifying information in a medical field could result in unknown consequences. And the practice of giving mixed information could also be seen as an unethical practice in the medical field. Therefore that I am concerned that my experience with this location remains questionable...
NOT 24 HOURS. DOORS SLAMMED SHUT AFTER MIDNIGHT. TOTAL SCAM AND FALSE ADVERTISING. TURN THAT SIGN OFF IF YOU ARE NOT 24 HOURS. YOU CANNOT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS. AT LEAST WRITE THE PANDEMIC HOURS ON THE FRONT WINDOW!!!
Worst customer services at pharmacy section( you must go two three times to pick up the prescriptions. Two time’s I catch her. She always trying to postponed prescriptions to next shift One of pharmacist. Last time I ask her first and last name she refused, another customer said her first name and mentioned the same problem.
Thought it was 24 hours like the big sign says but it isnt right now.
Not open 24hrs as advertised, but why would they care? Its CVS, it will be there no matter what since it’s a huge corporation and there no other place to go around here.
Ms. Veronica and Ms. Adda at the pharmacy always fulfill our prescriptions flawlessly, but thats the extend of it. The rest of the staff has no will to do their work right. Shame on you and your service.
The Store manager is the best, Ive never seen anyone more polite and respectful.
Friendly staff. Big store, a lot of buy 1 get 1 free for chocolate. good shopping for this coming up Easter. A bit too dark here compare to other CVS stores.
Always friendly staff its a nice plus
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.This CVS is dismal. Ive used CVS my whole life, and they are usually great. This location deviates from that. I bought an item there, and they had to manually enter the price (which ended up being much more than expected). Luckily, I didnt end up needing the item. I went to return it. They couldnt the first time. I went back again hoping that different staff would have a modicum of customer service and problem solving skills. They accused me of having the wrong receipt (it wasnt; I kept it with the overpriced item). Then they accused me of having the wrong item which doesnt even make any sense because it was entered as Taxable Item on the receipt. They were looking at the wrong item on the receipt. Staff was rude from the beginning of my experience there to the end. This is extremely frustrating. I was unable to return my item. I am currently waiting for some sort of resolution from the district manager. I do not have high hopes. :( Im going to get my money back, but I dont know if there is any way they could gain back my business.I would like to point out that the Rite Aid across the street has wonderful customer service. They are friendly and very helpful. Dont waste your time at this CVS. Go to Rite Aid. They have a great pharmacist and kind cashiers. They have really god coupons if you transfer your prescriptions to them. Just look it up online. You can get up to $100 in rewards by transferring prescriptions to Rite Aid (just make sure you find the coupon to scan).
Not 24 hours
I really have to commend the customer service here. I forgot my ID when returning an item, then went outside and sat on the low brick wall across the street just chilling for a bit. The employee that checked me out came running after me saying thank god I stuck around, and handed me my ID. Thank you CVS for having great employees! Won’t forget this lady’s kindness and will always be a CVS customer.
Ive been using the pharmacy for 4+ years, and its first-rate. I got my passport photos as soon as I asked about them, and have always had good luck with the 1-Minute Cliinic. But the personnel at the front of the store arent always as informed as they could be, and I gave up trying to deal with the self-service check-out machines. (Even the store manager had trouble with them when she tried to help.) So I think the pharmacy is great, but for everything else I go across the street to Rite Aid, which is bigger, with a lot more light, and looks cleaner.
The woman who worked in the photos section on January 27 morning time is very unprofessional.Didnt answer any question even the greeting. She kept her head right sided and looked as if aliens are coming down to cvs!! So bad
Absolutely the WORST Minute Clinic EVER! Now I understand why she works there playing being a doctor She had me waiting for an hour and said 45 min before she was closing 30min before her lunch time to get lunch. So I had to take my sick child elsewhere! Guess what I did took him to see a REAL DOCTOR with a REAL NURSEPRACTICIONER, not a joke like you! Enjoy your freaking lunch!
This is the WORST CVS I have ever been to. I would not even give it one star. Ive never had a good experience here. Ive complained to corporate 2 times and it has not gotten better. Ive recently transferred all of my prescriptions to the new Rite Aid across the street. Two experiences that stand out include:1) I was at the CVS on 1403 Wisconsin Avenue NW at 9:20. They were out of my prescription so I asked them to call the closest one that was open and could fill it. The CVS at 2226 Wisconsin said that they had it in stock and could fill it. I get there at 9:45, and the pharmacist says he needs more time to fill it before 10. I told him that he just spoke to the other store and agreed to fill it and thats why I was there. No one else was in the store and there was another person working in the pharmacy with him. I left and went across the street to Rite Aid. The nice pharmacist there filled it in LESS THAN 5 minutes. Ive since transferred all of my meds to Rite Aid and will NEVER shop CVS again.2) CVS billed my insurance for 3 months’ worth of my birth control, and only gave me a months worth. I tried to correct this but they were unhelpful. I ended up paying out of pocket to my insurance company because of their mistake.
Worst customer service of any store Ive ever been in. Ridiculous how annoyed staff gets when you ask for help. Especially in the pharmacy and minute clinic. Just close the place already and let someone open a worth while business there. Transferred my prescriptions to Rite Aid across the street. Much cheaper.
This review is for the minute clinic and the wonderful practitioner who serviced my family tonight very effectively and with a continuously positive attitude.
Veronica is what EVERY pharmacist should be like. She is extremely sweet and always answers the questions I have about my medications. She helped me find a coupon for my brand medication and saved me almost $200! It’s people like her who put on a smile on my face.
Belligerent pharmacy staff that hide behind their system... 5 hours to refill a prescription... When asked if he had the prescription the pharmacist replies yes, but I cant get it until the system tells me to... Im going to dress up as a computer for Halloween so I can get better service
Had some nice memories here ! Used to live close to it for 5 years ‘ excellent place for basic needs !
The pharmacists are incredible.
I have been with CVS for more than 7 years and the staff was very nice. but I met one new pharmacist today named veronica. She is the worst, worst & worst pharmacist that I ever met in my life. she was very rude at me and she was very negative minded. I asked her to check one medicine whether its in there stock but she refused to check that and I was so disappointed. So I went to the Rite Aid pharmacy at right cross on the street and Mr Oye the pharmacist of Right Aid was checked it for me without any complain .Since they dont have that medicine in their stock Mr Oye further checked that with other Right Aid stores and informed me that he will make arrangements to receive it to the store by tomorrow and I can pick it tomorrow by noon. So I am no longer going to CVS to hear the nonsense from useless persons and I am going to change my all the prescription to Rite Aid.
Pharmacy is a broken mess. Understaffed and lazy. Doesnt communicate well between stores. Send you from one store to another only to have lied to you. Lies to your insurance company. Avoid if you can.
Great staff here and highly convenient.
Very disappointing service to fill prescriptions. Clearly there is no communication among the team. I have been trying to fill a prescription since March 26 and after calling personally visiting the pharmacy to check on my prescription, today April 6, 2016 they had no idea what is going on. I was told they were going to follow up with the doctor on March 26 but they did not, and it was not until today April 6 that they said they faxed the request after 10 days!!! While I was on the phone, the call drop and I called again to ensure the prescription was requested, and after more than 20 minutes on hold, they came back telling me to pick up a different prescription that was for another client. It is unbelievable how it is being played with my prescription when I am running out, and I decided to start requesting my refill on the 26 of March thinking that a month would be enough. Certainly with this inefficiency, I should have started this process much sooner!!! My calls today started at 3:28 PM, and it is 4:02 PM and I am still on hold as we speak. Deplorable service!
Seriously the nicest staff of any CVS Ive even been to.
I asked them for photos and they said we dont have photo service, when I asked them where can I go to take photo.they said we dont know and they didnt have money order service too. They were not helpful.
Really nice staff
They shorted me 10 days of my meds! How hard can it be to count to 60?
24 hour store can come in handing for all the random things you need just like any 24 hour CVS. Pharmacy seems friendly. Right next to lots of bus routes and parking on the roof. Watch out in the winter as the store is not good about keeping their sidewalks clear.
Great Customer Service
Very good service although not as much variety as other CVS.
