The food was delicious. The customer service was exceptional and inviting. The booths were cozy and comfy.It was my birthday and the waitress surprised me with a fried ice cream treat after my meal.

Decent food and great service. The staff here are great and the food is okay too. And prices arent very bad.

Chili Verde was outstanding. However, 2 refill limit on a $3.25 kids soda is chicken$#it. There are at least 7 other Mexican places in Anchorage Ive sampled with as good or better food without such limitations.

Recommend this place to anybody thats in the Anchorage Alaska area. Very delicious salsa thats super flavorful. Their food is never disappointing very clean establishment. In a very nice and kind customer service.

We go to Hacienda at least 3 times a month. Food is Fantastic and they treat you like Family.

Food and service has been awesome there everytime we go. They truly care about their food quality.I had the chipotle burrito with carbia asada and it is now my fav burrito in Anchorage! Wife had tamale and a cheese enchilada.

Tortillas were horrible.”tasted like the cheapest store bought option” rice tasted like it came from the same aisle out of a bag. Chicken enchiladas had about a 3 inch bone in it. Definitely not what I would expect for the price they are asking. Only good thing was the chips and salsa.

The mild salsa is the best I have had. Even better than Chevys if you have been to California . The masa was less than stellar, but the meat was tasty. I will be back if only for the salsa.

They want service dogs on the floor and the owner is way more cordial to Hispanic customers even though the majority of his customers are none Hispanic. Never going back there again.I always left a good tip, 8-10 dollars, but that doesnt seem to matter.

We had a blast at Hacienda Mexican Restaurant. The salsa and chips were flavorful and spicy, the service was quick and friendly, and the drinks were amazing. Would definitely recommend the Cadillac margarita 😉 10/10 we definitely will be back whenever we’re in Anchorage next!

Food was decent and the drinks were strong. They are not the best in taste but if youre looking to get tipsy this is the place. Service was pretty good as well.

Been coming to Hacienda for years and years. But as of today I will never be returning. They will now be charging 3.8% to use a credit card. It’s 2021, everyone uses credit cards. I sure hope that 3.8% gets you enough profit for the amount of customers you’ll be losing.

I have been a client of the Hacienda restaurant for more than 10 years and today one of my favorite waitresses which I respect and care could not divide the bill between two clients, I simply asked her if it was difficult and that is why she could only make a receipt, and it was ok leave it one bill, but the owner came from not where with out know what’s going on the joke it was doing about it and took the things another level behaved rude and super unprofessional towards a colleague who had taken with me. I do not know what happened to the HER spouse owner assuming and exceeded her professionalism and behave ! Beside food was sucks today the steak was burn and hard then a rock !!! I guess was MY LAST VISIT !!!

Pros, great service, fast food, hot food, margarita. Cons, not authentic, food not good, prices semi high, tacos... I felt the appetizers were microwaveable except for the quesadilla. Didnt taste deserts so I dont know.

The absolute best service of any restaurant in Anchorage. We lived on the east side of town for 8 years and this was our go-to spot for Mexican food. Always satisfied with the food and service.

We wrote our names on the clipboard and went back to the car like all of their signs said to do... 25 minutes later my husband goes in and asked how much longer on the wait. They ended up seating 4 families in front of us and only called to get us when my husband spoke up. When we ordered our food the prices on the menu were $13 for both meals. We got the pill and suddenly they went up to $18. I would not recommend this restaurant it is not worth your money or time.

The seafood chimichanga was waaay better than the chicken chimichanga I was served by mistake.If you get something that you didnt order, do you send it back or just go with the flow?The chicken chimichanga was absolutely packed with chicken. Kinda bland chicken for that matter. I confirmed with the sweeter than flan waitress that my perception wasnt imagined, and she brought it back to the kitchen. So glad I didnt go with the flow. That happens sometimes when youre wrapped up in conversation with your dinner partner.The seafood chimichanga was an entirely different level!So delicious, I could not stop eating. No leftovers for me.So much flavor!

The place is homie, servers(most of them) friendly and cheerful. Menu prices are fair and portions good. Closer to real Mexican food than a lot of Alaskan “Mexican” food places!

They screwed up our drink order and tried to pour it in another cup. Lied about it. We watched. When we refused it, they put it in the fridge and served it to another patron!

I am so proud to be a patron of Hacienda. We have been visiting them regularly for memory years. Today they showed such compassion to a man in need. I am so proud to call them my Mexican restaurant of choice. And the food is great too!!

The food is good! The service is fast and attentive. The best part is how fast the food comes out. You can get in and get out in thirty minutes. Excellent place for lunch on a work day!

This restaurant is awesome from great service to great food. The place was packed and the waitress was friendly and efficient. The food arrived and was delicious and hot. This is a must visit if you enjoy food and a warm atmosphere.

I dont how anyone could rate this place badly. Hands down some of the best Mexican food in Anchorage. Although it is really hard to find good Mexican food here. Most Mexican restaurants in Anchorage are not good at all.I havent tried a lot of dishes at Haciendas though. I order the enchiladas every time because theyre so good. So you cant go wrong with the enchiladas. My friends usually order burritos and those look really good too.

The quality of service and food are awesome. My wife and I enjoy dining here. I have tried many entrees and have enjoyed them all. There are coupons available at times for a buy one entree get one with the purchase of an entree and two drinks. That makes this a very good meal deal. Would recommend to others.

I had the beef and cheese enchilada s for dinner. I think the enchilada sauce has an excellent flavor. Everything arrived fast,hot and delicious. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. Everyone in our party was full and satisfied. The portions are enough to sate any appetite.

Overpriced and overrated! Salsa and chips were severely disappointing. And you can always tell if a place is good by there chips and salsa. Mixed drink was standard but the meals were terrible. You want good Mexican food go somewhere else. I brought my family of 5 there and paid $60 for bland under spiced Mexican food. My kids of course order chicken tenders, overdone. $16 platter where two tacos, rice and beans are not up to par. Oh and you ask hows the jalapeno, not my food? Some was always there filling drinks and asking if you want more but you cant fix a business unless the food is changed.

This was our first visit here. In hindsight, maybe we shouldnt have picked Friday night as the restaurant was packed! However, we were still seated quickly and table service was still quick and effecient. The food was very good! Very strong flavors, no skimping of spices or ingredients. The margaritas were also very tasty. We will be going back!

Great ambiance and excellent service. MOST of the food was excellent but I dont recommend any of the steak dishes. The chicken was perfection, though, as well as the rice (yes, the rice!) that accompanies the entrees.

Awesome authentic Mexican food (not TexMex though). Try the fajitas. Theyre great. Anyone who says this place is overpriced and overrated doesnt know Mexican food.
