I actually liked that job. I kinda had a feeling I was making a difference there. When with no warning they cut my hours by 1/3 & gave them to someone else, I felt like that wasnt right so I had to quit.

Great selection, friendly staff.Its like a mini Costco.

Pretty much the monopoly on big Lake as far as groceries chicken strips are amazing the sauce should be patented when it comes to honey mustard. It’s so delicious! However the Manager (A short gray-haired female) tends to give a very “ i’m watching you and I don’t like you” vibe which can be very very uncomfortable however never any negative interactions staff is really polite for big Lake meaning don’t expect a warm smile and a nice greeting. just a “ you’re wasting my time” kind of feeling. Great place to shop though they have everything you need

I dont buy my animal feed at Walmart no more. Your employees are always there to help me, I am 71 and am very thankful

Out of stock in the Frozen Meat section. No Morning Star Farms Chicken nuggets. No Better Than Beef burgers. Everything else picked over..and empty. Now I will have to go to Wasilla for those items. Please restock more often!!!

Incompetent management and rampant favoritism. Product selection is primarily slightly different sizes of the same exact item. Noticeably more expensive than both KGB and Pittman. Save your money and dont shop here.

I showed up after the store closed, and they let me buy dog food because theyre were some dogs that had been neglected. As a community, we NEED caring people like the ones you will find right here at Three-bears in Big lake . It is located at Big Lake rd. and Hollywood.. I love Three Bears. I dont normally goto the Big Lake location but I happen to be in the area. I enjoy buying in bulk as most of the time it saves me in time, gas, and money from having to run to other stores and buying the same thing but alot smaller. Also they carry alot of other things you can only find at Three Bears or Costco. They also have the best produce and meat department and sporting goods out here in the valley so I have been known to spend more time at the store then any other grocery store. Also its locally owned and operated which is super important to buy local then these GIANT retail corporations. And you can get Gas at most locations.

Worst customer service EVER. Today the customer ahead of me would not leave and kept talking to the cashier even after her transaction was complete. The cashier kept talking to that customer while ringing up my purchases and was not paying attention to what she was doing, just kept talking to the other woman. I asked that customer nicely to please move along so I could pay. Then the cashier actually told me she did not want to wait on me and walked away! I could not believe it!! I live in the area and have been shopping at Carrs and Freddies because they care about ALL Of their customers. Obviously this Big Lake store doesnt want my business.

This place has everything. They have Kirkland items but the nice part is you dont have to buy bulk amounts. It is more money than Costco but it can save you a drive. This store literally has everything you are looking for plus some

All in all a good store. Have most of the things I need plus more. Saves a long drive. I took a star off because employees do not wear face masks nor do most of the customers. COVID is nothing to play around with. Other stores in Wasilla require masks and I am more likely to shop there because of that .

I have always liked the Three Bears Organization and the much needed services they provide their smaller communities. Its very close to having a Costco. I frequent them in Big Lake. They generally have what I need and a lot of what I want. However, based on my experience the last couple of months, I plan to shop elsewhere, which will prove difficult since the choices in or near Big Lake are none and few, respectively.Unlike Costco, Three Bears stores do not have a mask mandate. I was there a week ago. Out of about 50 customers, 4 in addition to me were wearing masks. Out of a dozen staff assisting customers, only 2 were wearing masks. My cashier wasnt wearing one. What was even more disgusting to me was the food preppers and servers in the deli werent wearing masks, not one!I am a senior citizen. I have an underlying health condition, and even if I didnt, I dont want to be exposed to Covid 19. It doesnt bother me that another elderly woman laughed at me for wearing a mask; it bothers me a large portion of the population in the Mat-Su are treating masks politically. I heard some one say, A mask isnt a political statement; its an IQ test. Its sad to say, in the area, concern for ones neighbor is low.Again, if you need to shop, it fills the need. If you care about your health, take precautions and be prepared for ridicule.

I love the deli at the Big Lake store, but the aisles are way to small for the big carts they use.

I love my local 3 Bears! Over time, the employees become such familiar faces; almost like an extension of ones own family.. I appreciate the great customer service, where else can you go where they put your 50lb bag of dog food in the trunk for yoy?

Stockers can cashier .Your deli is great, bread has been stale..and bakery items are scarce.Overall glad you came in, coulda left convenience store behind.

Its the go-to place for all your food purchases, unless you want to drive all the way back to Wasilla. They have a fair selection of all the basics, and then some. Nice small-town atmosphere and the people there are nice small-town people, which is a good thing.

AWESOME, fun and knowledgeable employees!! They have the best bananas in the borough! The only product I cannot get there is deli meat.

Well stocked for the avoidance of needing to go farther than here. All around variety, caring service. A repeat visit spot for sure!

Daily the people are generally nice but night shift is a whole different story.

Pretty good but need more cashiers...and very poor assistant manager treating her employee thats native like trash and give the native write ups while a white boy walks around pretending to work but doesnt when theres no manager or assistant there

Three bears in biglake great location, love the fact that they are pretty much everywhere. Not a wide variety of selections compared to the other three bears stores but still very convenient. The employees were helpful, friendly and quick to help & ring me up. Wasnt too thrilled that I had to go & get a key for the bathroom as I was in quiet a hurry. Lol. But then again, Im sure they have their reasons for that.

Smaller than the others, but it packs a great selection & seemingly higher quality (more often checked) produce. Prices may be a hair higher than other locations also.

Its a family friendly store. I think they need some different items and maybe little lower prices.

If you live in the Mat-Su valley, it can sometimes be a pain to go all the way into Anchorage for Costco or Sams Club. Three Bears helps take away the need to do that!The stores are always clean and well lit. The folks are always friendly even on a bad day.

Its convenient, you pay way more for being lazy though.

Pricey. Alot of the items for sale are double the price elsewhere. The selelection is about equal to a CARRS grocery store and the quality of meat, produce and deli are all exceptional for being on the edge of the grid... My only pet peeve is that I personally believe that there is a fair amount of overpricing. The locals here (including us) are not exactly rolling around in piles of cash! All said, a good shopping experience. Shop the sales!
