Thank goodness we dealt with Larry and KCO. The process was seamless with Larry however a couple things were missing from our order however Larry tracked everything down for us. You get personal and family feel in dealing with this business. Strongly recommend and would go back.

Josh was so much help with our cabinet buying experience and advice while my husband and father in law were installing. He not only sold us amazing cabinets but responded quickly to all of our emails and questions after our purchase. Good customer service is hard to come by these days and this whole process was stress free. Highly recommend for quality cabinets at an affordable price (less than half the price of other quotes we received).

Awesome selection. Laurie helped me with my dilemma, kitchen that was poorly designed to begin with . She was awesome, got whole bunch of counter space that isnt there now, just by laying out new plans that move fridge. I was so overthinking the layout that couldnt see what was right in front of me. 10 stars as far as service . Cannot wait to order and get started, wooohooo !!!!

I reached out to Kitchen Cabinet Outlet in Waterbury around of October of 2020. I worked with Shawn and honestly had to do a lot of the legwork myself to keep my kitchen project moving along. I constantly felt like I was chasing him for updates and emails etc.During installation, I realized that he had set an upper one cabinet to the left of my stove and two upper cabinets to the right of my stove which makes the kitchen look awkward. In addition, the one upper cabinet hits against the refrigerator enclosure piece.I eventually got through to a manager at the Southington store that promised to send someone out to fix the cabinet openings that hit against things. It is now mid-April and no one has showed up yet.I will honestly never buy another kitchen from them again nor would I recommend them to anyone.

Spoke with Shawn regarding a quote for a kitchen that I needed. We put everything together over the phone and It was supposed to be sent via email. The email had the breakdown of the units we needed but with the prices Inflated. When I showed that to my customer they asked why they we’re paying $1900.00 for a $3500.00 kitchen. I explained to the customer that kitchen cabinet outlet wouldn’t give me the itemized list with the adjustments for pricing. I called Shawn back to see if he could make the corrections to the paperwork for the customers purposes (being that this is a house flip) and that accurate paperwork is being required for the lawyers as requested. I was met with a defensive, rude, and unprofessional attitude while on the phone with Kitchen Cabinet Outlet. The customer no longer wants to purchase through this company because of how shady they are with pricing. I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone looking for cabinets. (This type of attitude is similar across all branches.)

This place is not customer friendly.... It was a hassle getting the order in. Today, I picked up my order. Every single cabinet came with either a scratch, a dent or the paint peeling. Cabinets are not finished well and shows real bad craftsmanship. Materials seem cheap, one shelf had a wood looking thin paper covering that was already peeling before installation. I called the manager, Tom and he promises to come in person tomorrow to decide how we will proceed next. At this point I am frustrated as I can either deal with this and keep damaged goods, or return them all and have to go shop for new cabinetry and wait God knows how long to have it delivered. Meanwhile, my kitchen has been gutted and nothing can be done, including the floors or sink, or dishwasher until I have cabinets. Huge nightmare that I hope will be resolved soon and in a satisfactory manner.Update: 1 Week later, cabinets still not installed, replacement cabinet also cracked so waiting on another, manager promised to install skins at the end of units to hide dents, no idea when they will do that. They said they will refunf $250 ( the penalty fee I have to pay to the countertop people for having to reschedule the appointment as per our contract) but nothing else. My contractor is really frustrated as he cannot do any other work until cabinets are installed. Meanwhile Im without a kitchen in my house.

I used this company when I built my home. I used them for the entire kitchen layout and the three bathrooms. Chris at the Waterbury location helped us design the kitchen layout and helped in making our decision in choosing the right cabinets and vanities. This undertaking was all new to us, but he was extremely helpful during the whole process and very easy to work with. Pricing was also fair IMO. I would give the company a good review based on my experience with the salesman I used.

We were very disappointed with our cabinets. Our remodel was costly, and the cabinets have compromised the look of our otherwise very lovely kitchen. Clearly, there appears to be a lack of quality control at this company. Most of the cabinets were damaged. Some of our imperfect cabinets were replaced and others were touched up. The cabinets that were touched up now look worse than in their original form.

Good selection but kind of pricey. All nice quality though.

Chris Smolley assisted me through my entire condo renovation. He was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and always presented several options for cabinetry, counter tops, and amenities. My kitchen and two bathrooms look superb. Very happy with this purchase and Chris customer service!

Couldnt have asked for a better experience. Chris S helped design my kitchen. He made great recommendations and got me everything I wanted while staying under my budget. Will be going back to Chris and KCO for my next project

This store has a wide variety of cabinets and vanities in a large range of prices & styles. The sales staff was very knowledgeable and helpful . I appreciated that they did not try and push the most expensive items. They really listened to what I was interested in & took time to show me some of the best options. I would highly recommend them, including their optional delivery service.

I went in there with close to $20,000 for a 12 x 8 kitchen and they couldn’t give me the time of day. Basically said they were too busy to do a drawing and too busy to give me pricing so I will be heading elsewhere

We spent over 6,000 dollars on 2 vanities and granite tops. Project was still underway and we changed our minds on their stock faucet during the original purchase. After calling salesperson twice, I decided to drive up there (1 hour) because I was sure this would not be an issue to return 2 faucets. Well guess what...................it was an issue. I was told they dont accept returns, something to the effect that the factory wont even take them back. We are talking two faucets, sealed in the original packaging - never opened. In my mind.....bad business. Will never purchase a single item from this place again.

Extremely disappointed with their customer service. I fully paid for a bathroom vanity and have been trying to get the sales guy to call me back for 3 DAYS on shipment status!!! Totally unacceptable. I will never purchase anything from them again.

Very disappointed with the service. A custom vanity top and cabinet were ordered for a small bathroom. KC stated delivery would take 3-4 weeks. At the start of the 5th week, I contacted KC to determine its status and was informed it would arrive in 6 weeks. Okay, I understand delays.Vanity top with sink arrives, but then had to be re-ordered because the Supply House attached the sink to the vanity top incorrectly.I was informed the vanity top material I selected is no longer available and could expect the replacement top in a work week. We are now on the 7th working day and still no top or an update from the Salesman.Customer service??

We had shopped around looking for a company that not only had a floor displays of mock kitchens, but had designers as well to assist us in a full kitchen remodel. Most companies we went to either ignored you when you walked in and you were on your own or they wanted to sell you the entire store. NOT KCO!! Chris in Waterbury was outstanding. Didnt come across as a sales person, he became our designer very quickly. Chris is very knowledgeable in design and installation. Incredible experience from day one. We were kept up to date on our order and Chris was able to coordinate directly with our installer to ensure install happened very shortly after delivery of all kitchen items. I also think the key to the success is a top notch installer of which KCO has a list of recommended installers, but may want to ask for opinions or others who have used specific installers. I would highly recommend KCO for kitchen remodels.

WOW! What a great experience and customer service! I must say i dont write a lot of reviews, but i could help but write about my experience. From the time I walked in the door until installation by our general contractor, I couldnt be happier. We worked with Josh Melycher as our designer. We spend a good helping to create our design. This is our 2nd Kitchen weve designed and our 1st experience a few years ago with another kitchen cabinet store was to say the least very poor and frustrating. Josh walked us thru a number of price points and options that various cabinet makers offered. Joshs recommendations were spot on and I am so glad we listened to him. Even when Josh wasnt available one day when we stopped by, the owner Jim Clarke jumped right in to help us. And when i found out they are a locally owned family business, that made me so happy to support local business.
