ON THE WEBSITE AND COMMERCIAL THEY ADVERTISE FREE FLU SHOTS AND VACCINES WHEN IN FACT THERE NOT..You have to pay thankfully I had the funds but I could only imagine if I was unable to pay it. They’re very unprofessional, there isn’t any order or acknowledgement of you being a customer ..I’ll never return to this store WORST EXPERIENCE
The girl at the window was really nice, which is rare now a days. She even gave my dogs a biscuit! Best customer interaction I’ve had in awhile. It’s great to encounter a nice human, especially when your not feeling the best. Thank you
Open 24 hours and they had the medication we needed. Wait was reasonable, and staff friendly. Good to have options.
[MinuteClinic] I had a flight to catch and I even told them in person and signed up for that too. When I went to JFK NEW YORK all the way from CT, air line didnt allow me because they needed PCR covid test. CVS should do a better job. Even I was showing them my air ticket details to clinic staff. This could have been avoided. I am so so so disappointed at CVS...
This CVS Pharmacy is always unstaffed and overwhelmed & overworked. If you have a question, you have to DRIVE to pharmacy to actually get your issue solved because telephone hold time is over 25 minutes and they “accidentally” hang up the phone when it’s your turn after a long hold time. It actually takes me 3-4 phone calls and a total hold time of 1 hour to get my questions answered. I cannot believe pharmacys like this one even exist. They actually make customers feel worse along with any medical issues they are having. This pharmacy can only deal with routine comman medications, anything out of the ordinary in which they have to order or get in STAT is out of the question. Nothing is guaranteed so dont count on them to have medications ordered for you. They cannot tell you ahead of time what is available to be ordered from specialty pharmacy without an actual prescription. So basically you’ll go back and fourth with your doctor until CVS can find the medication you need. CVS will determine your treatment plan based on what THEY can order for you. Not even 3rd war countries do that!
Dont bother calling the pharmacy no one will ever answer the phone. I strongly dislike this location.
I am trying to get ahold of someone to make sure my sons script was received due to him having asthma. I dont want to waste my time going there when I dont need anything besides his script for them to tell me there is nothing. Which has happened before. Nobody is answering the phones there. Never had a problem with this location before. So sad this location has been going down hill lately and yet they refuse to hire anyone worth while.
Good service. Good advice. Decent selection
I thought they were awesome with my questions, ect.
Went inside to pick up a prescription. There was a bunch of people in line for covid vaccines. Couldn’t figure out how to get to pharmacy. S is ms very disorganized. Even with 6 feet apart lines everyone is still too close as the aisles aren’t 6 feet wide. Then as I stood waiting in-line I watched these two women give covid shots then shout next in line and proceed to the next person like they are working in a factory... why are the chairs not being sanitized? People can still spread and catch covid correct?
Today was such a blessed day i am a single mom of a newborn, i had to grab the baby water & the TEN CANS OF SIMILAC . While holding my baby & it was about 30 outside. My plan was to make two trips but this amazing employee named Gladdys insisted on bringing it all to my car, & even packed it in for me ! Thank you sooo much again because you made my shopping easy, quick & safe for me & my baby!!
Horrible I was on hold for 45 mins and they hung me up how ridiculous that is they need more help smh very unprofessional
Polite and helpful through the drive through pharmacy. My asthma meds were out of stock over Covid and they gave me another equal medication for free. I was very grateful, especially with the risks of Covid.
Pill count often short on refills
I just want to transfer my medication to the cvs near my house and I cannot because I have been on hold for 80 minutes now and haven’t spoke to anyone. This company is a joke.
Nice and clean you can get almost everything at CVS
Scripts are NEVER ready. I called to have a script transferred from another pharmacy and they told me it was no problem and would be taken care of. 3 days later I show up and they dont have my script.
They never answer the phone but your gonna be on hold for a long time just for them not to answer and are very unprofessional and rude when they do
They take 20-40min to pick up the phone and then they hang up on you so if ur lucky on the 5th time calling and wasting 2 hours u might get someone that can pick the phone up without hanging up on you worse place go bunker hill pharmacy they pick up right away and they are nice not like the rude stuck up ppl working at cvs
Worst customer service! I call for my patients to get details for prior authorization or date last filled rx,and they leave you holding for over an hour. I call for my self Am also as a customer put on hold for 30-55 minutes. When you go in the pharmacy you barely ever see anyone on the phone its irate. I have called this pharmacy when leaving Thomaston, CT to still arrive to the pharmacy and be on hold. I have said I left Thomaston with you on the line and I am still on hold, come to the drive through and I am still on hold, and you do not see a pharmacist even on the phone. This is the worst pharmacy.
The worst employee that works here is Justin, he is very rude and treats People very badly. This CVS would be better off without him.
Maybe 4 is being bit generous. I go to cvs for all my prescriptions. West main st in Waterbury. Yes sometimes the staff is a bit short but many times they are really ok. The cashiers in the front I would say are nice. There is one cashier with dark hair (dont know her name.) .she has been there for a long time. She is always very nice and polite. I only single her out because I see her so much. There are others equally as polite and helpful.Sometimes the pharmacy can be challenging. But trying to work around peak times helps. They must get overwhelmed with calls. I hear the call announcement while waiting alot. I just try to realize that they are dealing with medications and some orders are complicated. There is alot of detail to be a pharmacist and dealing with people who- lets face it-are all unique with there prescription needs. Additional staffing would help and hopefully that will be a consideration for CVS in the future. But in these economic times - well- maybe not. After thinking about this I think 4 is my final answer.
Pharmacy is constantly understaffedEvery time I go there is an issue either prescription not ready or issue with authorization. It is not always the fault of the staff they need moreHorrible experience over years
Worst customer service by far
Terrible experience: kept on hold over 1 hour( after 8 attempts) with no one taking the call in pharmacy. So I had to go right to pharmacy, when med was dispensed, I was given 4 pills instead of 20 but pharmacist forgot to mention the short. When I got home and discovered 16 pills missing and again no phone response just put on hold again, I had to return to pharmacy to be told they ran out of that particular med and theyd call the next day where I got the opportunity to start the process again and get the remaining 16 pills. What was most amazing about this horrible experience was no one at pharmacy seemed to care about all the inconvenience I had been through. The last thing you need when you are sick is to go through such aggravation.
Crazy story, spent 30 min on hold on the phone, drive to the store, and no customers in store or drive thru. Completely unacceptable.
Cashiers for the regular sales side of this CVS are great, however pharmacy is terrible. Spent over an hour there with my girlfriend to get Tamiflu, after going to the counter 3 times and repeating her info and confirming she had no insurance they finally told us to go to consultation where they took a box off the shelf, gave it to the pharmacist to scan and had us out in 5mins.Clearly Daimion (who didnt have a name tag but showed on our receipt) needs more training. VERY disappointed everytime I have to go to this pharmacy.
This store is great always has pretty much everything I want sometimes items are out because of massive sales but with them writing rain checks and also substituting items its never a wasted trip. Pharmacy is a little slow but being located right in the middle of a big medical area (doctors offices and hospital right up the street) this is expected. Front store workers are always polite and respectful and one cashier named steve always seems to know where an item is and always checks the back room before telling me its out of stock. All this being said I love this store and will come back every chance I get
Low customer service
CVS, this pharmacy is a large chain pharmacy and you feel in important here. Prices are very high, lines are long and their return policy sucks. I paid with a debit card and refused to give me cash back. I was a bit unnerved after standing in line for 15 mins only to be told that my script had not been filled. Their isles can be a little overwhelming with a lot of product in your face. Bright glaring lights. If you have a headache don’t stop here.
I cannot believe this place is still in business. Waited in line once over 40 minutes so I thought going through the drive thru would be faster....an hour and 12 minutes later and the guy at the window was INCREDIBLY rude. Bit by a tick and needed a round of doxycycline so instead of waiting in line at all to find out if it was ready or not, I called first. Had to call 5 times, once called the front desk people who transferred me to the pharmacy, spent another 30 minutes on hold and then was hung up on. This is the worst pharmacy I have EVER dealt with.
I dont know why there are bad reviews on this pharmacy. Since they re-designed the building and re-modeled and all, its not like it used to be. Yes, the wait is generally a little longer than the nearby Walgreens but its by no means a bad pharmacy. The Pharmacists are generally friendly, unless of course theyre tired like on night shift, which I can understand. Customers need to stop complaining about businesses like they owe them something. Its a privilege to conduct business with a company, not a right. Theyre a good place by me. The clinic is useful as well for vaccines. Prices on basic food items are generally better than what youll find at 7/11 and local bodegas and such. 4/5 - Chris Crepon Waterbury, CT
Every time I come here I get a cashier that’s rude and full of sarcasm. I’m not coming to this store anymore and I’m letting everyone know not come to this store. the cashiers need to get it together or hire someone that can do a better job, I’m disgusted and fed up.
Slow ass people at the pharmacy! Literally needed 1 bottle of decongestant for my son that the pediatrician called in. No counting pills nothing.. why was the wait an hour? So pathetic. Long lines always. Such a zoo! Ill NEVER go back.
This is an OPINION, however it needs to be heard because both pharmacists and doctors have an obligation to do no harm, well? both the Southbury CVS and this 24 hour store in Waterbury are run by selfish and judgemental pharmacists who value judgement over actually helping a patient/client.. As a Southbury resident, i read One of the new laws permits, but does not require, pharmacists to sell up to 10 needles and syringes to individuals who do not have medical prescriptions. ... Prior to this, purchase and possession of needles and syringes without a prescription had been illegal in Connecticut.So.. I understand, SOME pharmacists can make the choice to not issue syringes if they make that choice, which should NEVER have been put into the hands of a SORT-OF Dr working in a CVS to choose who and who they will not help..BOTH the Southbury and Woodbury Pharmacists on duty turned me away when i told them my friend needed clean needles. It is disgusting to know that when the law is broad.. REMINDER : One of the new laws permits, but does not require, pharmacists to sell up to 10 needles and syringes to individuals who do not have medical prescriptions. ... Prior to this, purchase and possession of needles and syringes without a prescription had been illegal in Connecticut.I would think ANYONE in the Medical or Pharmaceutical world would have not only compassion for someone trying to be safe and hygienic, but would be familiar with Hippocrates and his oath and not stand in the way of a human being that they denied a bag of syringes that has no choice but to reuse the rusty needles they have or risk disease because of Righteous CVS Pharmacists who CHOOSE not to help, disgusting
Always a long line in the drive thru as well as the actual pharmacy. Picked 2 out of 3 medications up on a Saturday. Had to wait until Tuesday for the rest except they weren’t even ready then. Never going here again
Called them to renew a very important prescription and it took them 45mins just to pick up the phone. Then I went for nobody to be of help
I went to this store to get my Shingrix vaccine. I didnt have my current insurance info but the pharmacist Artild was very patient and extremely helpful. It wasnt as though he wasnt otherwise busy; the place was rockin. But he handled it routinely as a professional. Thanks Artild. Keep up the good work.
Awesome pharmacy if you want to wait on hold for 30+ minutes, be hung up on, treated poorly, etc.
Talk over the phone with a staff who works in the pharmacy and she have very poor customer service, very rude when ask questions ... she handles everyone’s call as if everyone know the protocol. Overall very rude Indian lady
Accurate and organized now with the new pharmacy manager, Mark. Call that rx is ready is quite convenient.
Today would have been my first time doing business with this CVS. I had horrible customer service at the Walgreens down the street so I came here... Guess that was a mistake... Tried getting a hold of someone from 3:15-3:47 Everytime I called I was put on hold and waited for 7.5 mins and one time I was hung up on after someone picked up, spoke very quickly and I guess I didnt talk back fast enough and they hung up. After all that waiting... I wont be doing business here...
Nasty people, without any knowledge about customer services. CVS should get better employees at this location.
Terrible costumer service. Called, was put on hold for 10 min. ( prob would have been longer but I was told if you start screaming into the phone they pick up) couldnt get in a word edge wise. They are under staffed
While trying to reach the pharmacy I was left on hold for 30 minutes and hung up on twice!
Nobody answers the pharmacy phone
Great help
Best CVS and its 24 hours.
Abysmal customer service. Waited for over a half hour for a pharmacy staff member to answer the phone. They never did. I wont be coming back.
Friendly staff and pharmacy.
Open 24.7 good staff
MoneyGram is NEVER up and running !!
Attention and interest of the staff in helping not only find what we are looking for but also explain to us about the product and the most important thing to have them during the high hours of the night as was my emergency .. Thank you God bless you greatly. Jose Fernandez
