Ordered a lathe, $2099.00. Website said that it was In Stock. Got a call a few hours later from Tools Plus telling me it is backordered and will be here in 6 months. I told the lady that the website still says, In Stock. She replied that it is in stock subject to manufacturers availability. They were out of stock. This makes no sense but Tools Plus does this every single day. See other reviews. They lost my business.

My experience with tools plus in waterbury has always been good. Excellent really. Ive never once walked in there and not found what I was looking for. The prices are unbeatable and the staff are made of high end individuals; professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. It is my number one go-to spot for power tools and accessories.

I placed my order for a Milwaukee M18 18g Nailer on a Saturday. Didnt expect any action until Monday. Received email that item was processed and being shipped on that Monday. Item on my doorstep Wednesday in great shape and item had no defects. Thank you for a smooth transaction!

By far has to be the worst company i ever ordered tools from for both personal and shop use. Was looking for a cooling system pressure tester, found a mastercool kit for about 550- 600 dollars on other sites. Came across this company on a google search for 470 something plus free shipping and thought sure lets give them a try. Initial email said 2-3 weeks processing ship direct from the manufacturer and that an email with tracking info would he sent. Waited 4 weeks and didnt hear a peep from them. Called and was told the manufacturer was backed up 2-3 weeks so additional time would be needed. Waited another 2 weeks and still nothing. Called our companies other supplier to see if they had it for a slightly higher price and said they have over 10 in stock which would ship and arrive in less than 2 days. Called to cancel the order and was told 2 weeks ago now that it has already shipped, but there is no tracking info, no email and when i put the order number in on the website it says there is an error with no further info available. This company is a complete joke and gives you the runaround 100%. Worst shopping experience I have ever had purchasing tools.

I ordered a NOVA G3 30th Anniversary chuck a couple weeks ago online. It was a simple process. When I received my NOVA G3 chuck there was one screw that wanted to strip. I contacted Tools-Plus (Debbie) and it was within minutes I received a reply Tools-Plus contacted Teknatool USA and that Teknatool USA would send a replacement screw. Today 10/19/2020 I received a package of screws from Teknatool USA. Tools-Plus is top notch! Outstanding and expedient service. I will definitely order from Tools-Plus again.

Good price for what I needed!

I made the mistake of ordering from them, it was not delivered. It was sent to a holding facility for to pick up and I am not able pick up packages... thats why I have them delivered. After a week of going around with them I was finally able to get the product to be returned to them.. now I have to wait and see if they will give me my money back.

Bought the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Trimmer for father who lives in Florida. Grass never stops growing there. Talked with their very helpful sales staff who helped me pick it out. Tools Plus shipped out my order the same day that I purchased it too. My Dad loves his gift and has another tool to add to his M18 lineup. I will shop with Tools Plus again in the future the next time I need reliable and friendly service.

Ive purchased many tools from these guys and have never had any problems. Very helpful customer service and they have prices that cant be beat. They also have promotions and deals going on all the time. They must deal with some heavy volume because theyre prices are so low.

Was a little skeptical buying from these guys as I hadnt heard of them and they seem like a smaller company. Ordered a Dewalt 20V chainsaw and received exactly what I expected without any issues.

I ordered a hard hat for this company. I was then emailed that it was not in stock. I had the option of waiting 4 weeks or more to get the hard had. The other option was to cancel the order. I chose to cancel the order and responded to the email accordingly. I did not receive a response from the company for more than a week. I responded to the email again asking what the status of the order was. Its been 4 days now since the email. I have not been refunded for the purchase. Very poor service.

I ordered a circular saw and then found a lower price with faster FREE shipping. I contacted this company twice by email and also left a voicemail cancelling the order prior to shipment.Tools plus shipped the tool anyway and now want a return shipping fee on the item. How hard is it to return a phone call or respond to an email?1st email went out Wed, May 1, 2:33 AM ... 2nd follow up email was on Wed, May 1, 4:33 PM. Like I said, checking your email isnt hard.

These folks had the best price by far but I was a little leery of ordering from them because I had not heard of them and wondered what would happen if something went wrong. The order of a table saw was received in two days as promised. Even though there was no obvious damage to the box I discovered that the plastic dust chute was cracked. I called to ask what to do. I was surprised to have a real person answer immediately. Not only that but she stated that she would talk to the sales rep to have a replacement part sent to me, which she did. That is the most responsive customer service that I have experienced since the age of the internet. Amazing. Thank You!

I placed a simple order for four replacement pads for my sander. I received a package a few days later, but it was not the item I ordered, in fact not even close: it was someone elses order, complete with someone elses packing slip inside. These things happen, and while I was disappointed in the error, I understand and accept the error for what it was.I contacted customer service, and to their credit, I received a quick response apologizing for the mistake and promising to correct it. This quick response accounts for the second star of my rating, but unfortunately the remainder of my experience was so unsatisfactory that it probably deserves the worst possible rating.Following my initial contact, I received a return UPS shipping label from the company so I could send back the erroneous item. All well and good, and I was happy to do so. However, what made me very unhappy was the fact that they wouldnt ship me the correct items Id originally ordered till they received my return item--the very item theyd incorrectly sent me in the first place. Completely their fault, not mine, yet they made me wait and provided an aura of distrust, as if I wouldnt send back the other item if they asked. They should have immediately sent out the correct item to me, and dealt with the return from there.Meanwhile, I returned the incorrect item via UPS, as they requested, and they received it the very next day according to tracking info. However, I had to contact them again after three full business days had passed following the return and Id still not received my correct order; worse, theyd not even shipped it, and I have to wonder whether they ever would have had I not contacted them again.I finally received the correct order two weeks after my initial order, more than a week of which was wasted by the companys poor service and lack of attention to detail.Perhaps this was an anomalous problem with Tools Plus, but I sure wont ever darken their door with another order.

A relative ordered a switch for my Milwaukee hammer drill using the exact Milwaukee part number shown on their ebay website for my model drill. This company switched part numbers, sent an incompatible switch, and then when it came time to return it for credit I was told I have to pay the return shipping for their mistake. Scam outfit. Avoid this company.

Ordered on 13th, didnt ship until the 17th and the product showed in-stock. Should have just ordered from Amazon and would have already had it in half the time it took them to just ship the order. Folks, it is 2018, you need to hustle if you want to stay in business.

I purchased a hammer drill from Tolls Plus Outlet on 5/5/17 it arrived on 5/13/17 I did not use this tool until 7/8/17 When I tried using it I found out it is not working properly, something electrical it started and stopped and restarted and stopped again. I contacted the seller on 7/13 It was too late (30+ days) for return, the seller gave me a run around in 5-6 communications back and forth and than told me to go to call factory service place. I had to buy a new drill from HD and now I have a non working drill from Tools Plus Outlet. MY LAST purchase from them. I am forced to pay for repairs to a tool that came out of the box not working!!!! Ebay left me hanging and said there is nothing that I can do and since it is past 60 days from purchase I can not even leave Feedback on the seller!!!! how convenient. I think I am done with Ebay as well.... I will stick with what works... AMAZON! they have always been there for me.

My order was placed on 2/26/2020 showing plenty of Milwaukee N95 mask available. A week later I received an email saying my order will be refunded because they were out of inventory. Now SEVEN days later, you can not find a N95 mask anywhere. Not very good business!
