Excellent store. Most of the people that works there. They are very friendly and helpful. I loved that. You ask them something and you can see that they put you first. Most of the employees there are like that. For parking I recommend you not to go all the way to the front. Gets bit crowded everyone wants to park so close to the store, and for truck rental they have excellent trucks in very nice condition

Nice selection of planters but no one to help with plants.

Itd be nice if this home depot answered their phones. But clearly they dont. Ive called multiple times, multiple days and they just dont answer their phones at all. At this point they shouldnt even have a phone. I wouldnt waste my time or business with them. Much more efficient home depots in other cities that actually care about their customers.

Needed to have a couple keys made. The guy servicing the customers. He was more interested in helping another customer who I think was someone he knew. Instead of handling me my original keys he toss on top of the counter, never handing back to me. I talk to the manager he didnt seem too apologetic or seem to have cared. Very poor customer service in this Home Depot.

Horrible experience here. I went in, lured in by an online query, for a ladder. Its a big store, so I figured Id ask an employee where they were located. The associate I attempted to ask (I couldnt read his name written on his vest) was talking to another customer and saw me approaching. After his initial look at me choose to continue talking to the woman and pretend I didnt exist. It got to the point she was trying to walk away but he continued to talk to her and she was visibly feeling uncomfortable. This went on for several minutes. We ended up both walking away from him uncomfortably as I felt I didnt want to make the situation worse by forcing an interaction. Im on my way to Lowes 1/2 an hour away to buy the same thing. If their service is better, its well worth it!

They brought me the wrong item I ordered for home delivery. Contacted customer service and they picked it up two days later.I’m still waiting for a refund. They are literally stealing my money. Nice home depot….stealing from widows. What’s next? Crippled children?Finally got it after being disconnected multiple times. Minus the delivery fee! I had to pay to have the wrong item delivered.

Store was being well run, it was pretty clean with this trip. There seem to be a logical order to how things were being done including having somebody at the door making sure people were wearing masks as they entered. Also however there is people that took off their masks while in the store for example there was a gentleman that clearly didnt even have a mask with him because he wasnt had it around his neck or chin then we had other individuals with the masks protecting their chin but not over their mouth or noses I would say about approximately 25% of customers were like this with their masks. I would try to avoid going here during busy times because of this relaxed attitude towards mask.

The attendants and service was great, but the stock has been pretty low for the last few days. This is my goto location. It is close to home and they usually have everything I need.

Not bad but I did ask for a specific item. The employee liked it up but sent me to wrong isle. When I came back and found it on my own she apologized.

Replacing carpeting on the second floor of our home. Susan is the best at making this easy and making sure we understood the entire quote before we finalized the sale. This was the best buying experience weve had in a long time.

Just picking up a few items to make our camping trip more enjoyable. Thankfully all of what we needed was available and at good prices.

So here I am, with lots of other people, waiting to buy appliances. There are at least 2 customers ahead of me. Im buying a complete kitchen and 2 laundry centers. But, not here today.

Been coming here for over 20 years and is has gone down hill big time.This homedepot is very busy so supply and demand leaves this store short. It is also very messy, garbage in the parking lot, homeless asking for money, inside isles are filled with carts left by customers. No one around to help you. I will travel out of town just not to go here unless I just need something quick like today,, but really it is not the best homedepot. 🙃

I went to pick up a mobile order, I told it was ready, I get to the store its not ready for pick up. I ask how can we make it ready.? She said, we need someone to go get it for you. But everyone is busy. I waited more that 15mins, the order is still not ready... poor customer service.

Great staff. The atmosphere is very friendly and courteous. Super knowledgeable. If they don know the answer will call the pros for help. Clean facility and COVID-19 protocols are still in place. Recommend with out reservation.

As a loyal customer who has always turned to Home depot for home renovations. Home Depot has truly disappointed me. In August I had placed an order for some custom cabinets that I wanted to put in my kitchen.They explain that I needed to strip down my kitchen so that my custom cabinets can fit within the space. I got rid of my old cabinets in hopes that my cabinets would come in within 4 to 6 weeks that they promised me it would come in. It is going to be more than 2 months that I have yet to receive my cabinets. I have called numerous times and every time I call they have pushed the day back onto when my order is suppose to arrive. I have no cabinets within my home to place anything of my kitchen supplies. I was told that they would come in by September. Now they are telling me that they will not arrive until November 12 and they have no idea why my order is taking so long. How is it that as the manufacture they are unaware of what is happening to my order and on top of that it is total negligence on their part for leaving me without cabinets to then tell me I should cancel my order and that they would charge me for doing so. That is totally irresponsible of their part after I have already rearranged my kitchen to the design I ordered. How can they charge me for canceling my order when they are the ones who are in the wrong. My table top is already set to be delievered and I do not have cabinets to go with it. I am truly disappointed and for waiting so long what they need to do is cover a portion of my order for their lack of service.

I would not recommend getting flooring delivered by Home Depot. The sub contractors they hire do not go above and beyond. Exact opposite. Delivery guys refused to bring our flooring into our house. Claiming that they can’t go up stairs. We have two entrances to our house. They refused both and we live in a ranch. I honestly think they didn’t feel like walking the extra distance.

Waterbury Home Depot isnt good. They dont have enough staff to service customers and u tend to wait in long lines for every little item. I wish there was another Home Depot.

Its a chain hardware store, nothing crazy. However, this store is branching out into the obstacle course business. One aisle, two rolling stairs, a forklift and no employees in sight using them. When you do come across employees they will be stocking shelves making sure to block an aisle with just enough space left for a person to walk by but if you have any size carriage/cart you should wait until their shift is over, you may be able to get by then.

We ordered a propane heater from this Home Depot store today, 12/10/2020. After getting confirmation at 7:45am that I would be getting a text and email (within 2 hours) when my curbside order was ready, I patiently waited. I had not heard anything back by 1:30 and was getting concerned. I had my husband call and he was informed by a worker that they couldn’t find the heater. This was after it said they had 4 in stock this morning. He was then informed that they had cancelled the order. He asked to speak to a manager. Once the manager got on the phone, he was more than helpful! He was upset that it took his staff this long to contact us, and he knew there were 4 in stock. He stopped what he was doing and went to look for it. When he found it, he let us know, and said he would speak with his staff. My husband doesn’t remember his name, but when I arrived at Home Depot, the lady Pat was super friendly and helpful. She even gave us a discount for our troubles. This manager and Pat both deserve to be praised for their hard work and awesome service!

Had what I needed at a resonable price

I went to return a ryobi cordless 10” pole saw. Nothing was wrong with it. I just didn’t need it after all. The lady that helped me out name was Erica. I have ran into a few times and each time she has been the sweetest. The manager came in from riding his Ducati just in time to help us with the transaction. For some reason it wouldn’t pull up the item. Then when it did it wouldn’t give me the tax with the return, but Erica was determined. They figured out I for my return and I was told when I finished shopping I could come right back to the front of her line and she would cash me right out. I was pleased. Anyone who goes to this store in Wtby knows it is either hit or miss. Today was hooooomerun. ⚾️ 😂😂Thank you Erica. She doesn’t know it, but we are now friends.🤗 The store was busy, but customer service moved the line right along. Nice job y’all!!!

Great Paint selection to look over. Decent bathroom cabinet variety and other smaller items all in stock and reasonably priced.

Curb side service is a b ln easing for us handicap people

I went in to get paint for my hand rails. The person in the paint dept helped me choose the right paint and sheen.Will ne going back for more paint. Time to pain my dining room.

I have been to HD stores around the northeast but I love going to my local store. There is very little turnover in staff, as far as I can see over the last 5 years. The place is clean and neat no matter how crowded it gets. Employees keep the checkout line moving quickly, and that is especially important now that we have to social distance. People and cheerful and even jovial, although still professional.

I like home depot overall, but the waterbury store is always hard to navigate and find what youre looking for. And the online inventory never matches the store for small items.

Among my many strange experiences at Home Depot… I’m only writing this review because recently I stopped by very close to the closing time on a Sunday night, and needed a few sample containers of paint last minute. The gentleman who helped me in the paint section get those samplers and color matched them, thank you for your patience! Give him a raise Home Depot 👍

I can always find friendly service

Not one of my fav locations but they have what I need. I’m used to going to Home Depot and getting help with whatever I need. This location is hit or miss

This Home Depot leaves me with mixed feelings. The good, the staff is always pleasant and helpful. They do a great job of getting customers through checkout. The bad is I often can’t get what I need. I’m not talking about unusual items, Im referring to common project supplies. Last trip I needed 1/2” threaded electrical nipples, nothing on the shelf, nothing mixed in with other sizes. Of course every other size is available. I have also found I can’t trust the online inventory. Fortunately Ed’s Hardware near my home usually saves the day.

Close to the town. As always friendly staff. Most of my DYI projects they are my teachers. Many of them go above and beyond their responsibilities and help out the people. I have asked some dumb questions but the staff are very patient.

Horrible environment. Man and woman were following me. Basically all the way to the bathroom. When i asked if i can help them with something they just nodded their heads. Ended up being their own employees without name tag or apron following me around. Really funny because i didnt see them following anyone else. I felt scared, especially a 22 yr old young lady in a time where sex trafficking is very big in america. Never going back, Thank god for lowes.

I have used this Home Depot for many years, but have had a bad experience with ordering and delivering and long wait times 25 minutes trying to reach a manager before I had to hang up. They showed up over an hour late for the 4 hour delivery window, that we now have to pay for, which is also a ridiculous policy. Then the product on the delivery was not correct and I had to go to the store to pick up what was not loaded onto the truck. The store had it in stock, just didnt put it on the truck. The person at the service desk was understanding and made it right. I do a lot of business with this Home Depot and am still waiting to hear from a manager. Dont feel that we should pay for a delivery window, especially when the store doesnt even come during the designated time. Still not resolved...

Great experience and very professional help from Cederick Hunter helped me find my1.5 salt dogg sander her also helped me with all my milwaukee purchases. I own alandscaping business for the last 3 years hes been a big help.

We purchased a shower glass which was delivered to the Waterbury store. I got an email saying it was ready, and a couple days later attempted to pick it up. The gentleman at customer service was very nice, and said he looked for our item but that it was still not unloaded yet. He said he would write a note, and it would be ready for us to pickup the following day. Good thing we called prior to coming the following day, because it wasnt pulled that afternoon. Customer service did end up calling us back hours later, and we were able to pick it up that night. Our shower glass came in a large box that said fragile all over it. It had foot prints all over it, like someone had walked on top of it.Weve been to several Home Depot locations, and if you are worried about COVID, this is the only location that the majority of both employees and customers are not wearing their mask (or if they are not properly). We saw them wearing the mask on their foreheads, under their chin, with their nose sticking out, or not at all.

Quick, easy, safe transaction. I do not enjoy Home Depot as a corporation and prefer to shop elsewhere, but when I do shop with Home Depot I typically enjoy the customer service.

Did curbside pick up, checked in and got message someone will be with you shortly. Waited 15 mins no one came. Person next to us said they were waiting over 20 mins and going in instead. We also went in to customer service and picked up our order.

Absolutely love that they offer curbside pickup now. Its a great thing. Park, text them youre there, and out they come with your order. No need to bother with crowds of people.

Really great experience here. I was wandering in the paint section (so sure Id find it eventually) and an employee offered to help me. He not only helped me find what I wanted but found something even better for my project. And once we discussed my project he gave me some great advice!

Service was so bad the last 3 times we have been. You have to download there store app or you will not find anything you need. If you ask someone for help that works there they will say some one will be come to help when they are available but never show up and cant get any help any other way. We decided to go to Walmart and get what we need. Found it much faster, cheaper and better service. Hope someone from home depot cease this and changes something because I wouldnt go back there.
