Overall, I had a great experience after getting in contact with Andy Page and Shane McCollow. Both were prompt and willing to answer all my questions. Definitely the guys to go to if you want to avoid the awkward sales process! Great customer service and their help (which was above and beyond) was greatly appreciated!

As always, when buying a used car, Im a bit leery working with used car sales people. Ive been lied to by a few of them in the past. I just dont like all the sales tactics that some of them use. When I went into Dan Deery I had my guard up and was ready to leave without buying a car if anything smelled fishy.But they turned out to be straight forward with me and came down to my second offer price. I only paid a couple hundred dollars over KBBs private party sale price. In my experience used car dealerships price their cars a lot more than the private party price and wont come down anywhere near it.I could tell they understood that I had been burned on deals at other places in the past and they were determined to show me that not all car sales people are just out to make a quick buck at my expense. I was pleasantly surprised to find a good car at the price I wanted to pay at a dealership. Im sure well go back to Dan Deery, in Waterloo, in the future when we need another car.

Both were very good in walking me through the process and answered all the questions concerning the deal and vehicle. When I arrived vehicle was just as they had stated no surprises. Poor service. Dishonesty.Took my vehicle in for repair. Called 6 days later to see if it was done and they didn’t know because the guy in charge moved to New Mexico that weekend. Waited two days for the manager Justin to call me back after Calling daily and leaving my best form of contact. Needed my okay to proceed. Ordered part and told me it would be done a week later. Called 6 days later to confirm pick up and they said part was delayed (never called to notify me part delayed 9 days) part was put in but didn’t work so it was taken out. I called to confirm pickup again and they get back to me three days later and say they have it scheduled to work on 7 days later!! It was there a total of 33 Day!! Never once did they offer a vehicle to borrow and when I asked the next one they could lend was 14 days out! Also at pickup I asked if the bill was correct and the manger nodded yes it is. I then inquired about the diagnostic price and he said “oh yes that doesn’t look right” took it back to his office and rewrote the bill. Van runs thankfully but the service park and engine light have already come on within the day! The repairs make me so nervous in that they I believe will be temporary fixes.

Second vehicle purchased from this dealer in the last month. Both buying experiences have been simple, no pressure and friendly. The staff is warm, inviting, knowledgeable and, in my opinion, best in class. Safe to say we’ve found the dealer we’ll do business with for the long haul. Outstanding experience, all around!

Worst experience I have EVER had! I was told my car was more than what they could fix (ok I appreciate the honesty). My husband informed them that we were going to need tofigure out what to do, and we would be in touch. I called back on Thursday and informed them that we were probably going to junk it, but that I needed to get a replacement title which would take 5 days. The lady who answered the phone said she would let the tech know. Monday I went and applied for the new title which will be available this coming Monday. Talked to my dad, and he said to go to the car, open the trunk, and look for a little button to reset the fuel system. I go to deerys and the lady at the desk informs me that she didnt know anything about the vehicle and will need to talk to the service manager. No problem. She comes back and informed me that the car has to be towed out. I asked her why I wouldnt be able to go to MY vehicle. She had to go back to the service manager. The service manager informed me (several times) that they had never heard back from us (downright lie), and that she would take me to the vehicle. I get to the vehicle and was unable to pop open the trunk due to the battery being completely dead! Which it was not when it was towed in. My car is an old model that you can remove the keys with the ignition still on. They had left the keys partially in the ignition switch. I now have to have it towed to a mechanic who knows what the heck he is doing, and can replace the fuel pump for me, and now get to have the added expense of a new battery. Thank you Dan Deery for making my day brighter with your incompetence and lies. I will absolutely NEVER be back there.

We called in on a Friday to see if a Jeep was still on the lot. Because we lived so far away we asked if we could put a deposit down to hold it till we could get there Saturday. Matthew was super easy to work over the phone. He wasn’t due to be at the dealership the next day so he had Michelle meet with us when we got there. After we got back from the test drive, Matthew did come in. Matthew and Michelle were both very informative on the Jeep we were looking at. They both made it a fun and relaxing experience and not to mention, I drove off in my dream bikini pearl Jeep!!

I originally gave Dan Deery a 5 star review, but after getting my truck inspected today I was a little disappointed. I know older used vehicles will not be perfect and will always have some issues but I have a wheel bearing that is so loose it’s unsafe to drive. I also asked when I test drove my vehicle how good the breaks because they seemed a little worn and they said they checked them and they were fine. Of course they weren’t so now I need to replace those too. My truck also has a lot of things leaking as well. The least they could of done was made sure it was safe to drive. They also left me with a empty tank of gas as soon as I left the dealership. Everyone at Dan Deery was nice and helpfull but I feel like they really don’t inspect their vehicles

My roommate had her car towed in for them to look at. They told her the parts were so corroded that she would have to have to take it to a Lincoln dealer and it would likely be 3×s the value of the car. Ok fine, let us make a decision well let you know. Calls them on Thursday to let them know that she is going to scrap it, but is going to have to get a new title so it will be a week, bc there is a 5 day waiting period.thet said that was fine. She talked to the previous owner of the car, and they told her to go to the trunk and look for a box with a button to reset the fuel system. She goes to deers to and they tell her she cant bc it needs to be tied. So she questioned this and they girl said she wouldst get the service manager. Service manager walked her to the car, the entire time telling her that they had never heard back from them. She gets to the car and couldnt pop the trunk, bc the battery was completely dead, and the battery was not dead when it got towed in. Very disappointing

Went to go see about a new 2022 TRX ( I know the 2021 was limited but not the 2022). Dan Deery decided to jack up the price by $10k during Covid! I immediately found another dealer who is not taking advantage of customers and they are going to get me one at invoice. Disappointed with Deery on this. The 2022 TRX is not a limited run vehicle either. I just got off the phone this morning with a RAM customer service rep. The hot sales of trucks and cars will end soon with the stock market crash and you will wish you had not upset people with money soon.... We will be your ONLY potential customers in 2022 after the crash! Had the same experience at the CF store a week ago. Thought it was a different owner but nope...same price gouging going on at both.

This dealership is full of con men.i purchased a used truck recently and they insured me it would pass inspection when I got back to Missouri. It did not the power steering pump failed and all four brakes failed. All the seals where out in the rear end and the engine had to have all 6 spark plugs replaced. The truck has now broken down again with my wife and two children in it along the road this morning. If you do buy anything from these con men make sure to get it inspected by another shop before buying. The staff was friendly but I guess anyone would be when they are screwing hard working Americas out of there money.Response to Dan deery.My name is not important. I know the run around where you try to justify that you might be able to help people out in these situations when you have there money and there is jack you can do. There is nothing this dealership will do for you after you signed the disclosure. As far as any of your so called service men working on any of my vehicles. Have been lied to twice about where vehicles have came from and what has previously happened to them. I also scheduled an appointment for an oil change thinking theyd look to see if they had a filter first. They emptied the oil out then realized they didnt have a filter. Once someone ran to a parts store to get one, they then managed to put the wrong kind of oil in the car. Luckily I noticed it on the receipt. Over an hour and a half for a scheduled oil change.

Amazing staff! I bought a 2013 ford focus ST about 6.5 weeks ago. I had to take the car in because after a week of driving it the rear main seal was bad and the car was losing 1qt of oil an hour according to the dealership. My car has been at the dealership service center in the cage for almost 5 weeks and has not been worked on let alone moved. the worst part is that they have had the parts for 3 weeks now. I have called every week on wed. since I dropped my car off to no avail. my salesperson Banning was amazing in helping me find the car I wanted its just very unfortunate the service team is dropping the ball. 5 star for banning, 1 star for service.update: It has been about 7.5 weeks now since I have had my car. the service center still does not have the proper tools to do the job and has pushed it back yet again after saying all I needed to do was source my own clutch plate, pressure plate, and flywheel and they can put it back together right away. I had plans to take my car out of town but that will no longer be possible.

Great dealership. Responds to messages as quickly as possible and great people. Got all the work taken care of within 1 business day.

I can check other dealerships for a better deal but will not find one. I can look for a better customer experience but have never located a single one. Working with Vicky is a blessing in itself without the back and forth price game or extra charges games that I have experienced at other dealerships. Every time I get a straight answer and a value that is underestimated working with Vicky. My wife and I are blessed to once again buy our new vehicle here and to no that we have a contact at a dealership that will go well beyond what is usually expected every time.

Had a rough start to buying a truck from them. Jamie the sales manager worked hard for me to find the exact truck I wanted and I am very happy with my new truck. They would get a better overall rating, but the cashiers office misplaced my check and the finance guy badgered me about getting them a new one without attempting to find the one I had already delivered.
