We have used Waterloo Automotive every time an issue has come up with one of our vehicles. They are always very quick to get us in, complete the repair either by the time estimated or before, and I am confident I am always getting the best value. I called them when I took my vehicle in for a recall at the dealership to get their opinion on some recommended repairs and they were honest about the necessity of the repair and gave me a quote for the same work (and saved me money!). Most recently I had an issue come up with my Explorer, they had it fixed and back to me quickly and saved me money because they kept investigating the issue and didnt settle on the first apparent problem. We will continue to take our vehicles to Waterloo Automotive for all of our repair needs, and recommend them to anyone looking for honesty and good workmanship.

Waterloo Automotive is the best auto repair business I’ve ever had the experience of using. They always find the issue and offer the best work for the price. This time was no different, they found the issue and fixed it for FREE!!! Because it was still under warranty. However I only had one issue this time with communication on the progress of my vehicle, they didn’t let me know they were going to hold my car for an entire weekend.

Ive been here twice and theyve been nothing but FANTASTIC. They keep you updated from start to finish on the progress for your car. They even have a courtesy shuttle which has made it so easy to work around my schedule. Everyone is very friendly and customer service is 100%.

This place is awesome, my window was stuck down and in this cold they said come on down well at least find out what is wrong and get it up for you. I was told the cost for this would be between $75.00- $100.00. I went down and before I could get a cup of coffee he had the window up and knew what the problem was and said no charge for today. He will call me with an estimate tomorrow as they were closing due to the weather so employees could get home safely. They waited for me instead of cancelling me so they could leave. This will be my go to for my repairs. The people were awesome!!

I took my vehicle in to have a missing weight from balancing replaced, Waterloo Automotive ran a diagnostic that I didnt order to charge $79.00. They did not replace the wheel weight or balance the tire. The mechanic I usually use doesnt have tire machines and had just done a full inspection of the car so the diagnostic was not needed. After a night of phone tag I was able to take the car back up there the next day and get the single tire balanced, which was the only reason it was there a day before. They refused any partial refund in person and over the phone and pocketed $79.00 for a $18.00 service that I had ordered. I feel that its worth mentioning that I was not given a price quote until pick up and how hard their customer service pushed buying new tires. I stated at drop off that I was only there for the weight and I knew the tires were old. The shop also had the wrong mileage for my car and reported it to CARFAX as 100,000 miles too many.

First of all, the fact that they are family owned and operated and that they make you feel like family is inviting, especially when going in to an automotive place for the first time. They provide exceptional customer service!I had a problem with my front end vibrating and had to purchase new tires, they balanced them and did a wheel alignment. A few weeks later (probably longer than that) my front end was still vibrating so I took it in and they fixed the problem for no charge! Not even labor costs! They honestly stand behind their work.They also didn’t try to up sell like some other places do, unless you really need something done. They also worked to make it as affordable as possible.At that time they also told me my about a wheel that had been welded in the past. About 2 months later I had a slow leak in my new tire. Found out there was a crack in the wheel. (All these big and bad potholes!) They immediately called a wheel repair shop and got a quote and set an appointment to get repaired.Didn’t have to wait around. So I’m taking it back to get repaired and they will give me a car to drive until it is fixed!Waterloo Automotive will continue to be my go to automotive place for the future. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an honest auto repair shop.While waiting, enjoy good conversations with Brian and Josh, who BTW provide great customer service.

Did you know they do tires too? Ive actually had Brian and his team do 4 sets of tires on my trucks and my wifes SUV. And they dont just carry a handful of select tires either. They can get probably anything. I just had them put on a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 2015 F150. Brians price was competitive and, as always, the service was great. I called and he was able to get the tires and install them just two days later before I went on a road trip. Nothing better than a new set of tires!
